Bialya, Day…

Ben was starting to wake up, but he felt groggy and exhausted. His ears were ringing, and his head was pounding. His skin felt like it was overheating while the sun was hitting his eyelids. His bed was shifty and loose unlike usual.

Ben gripped at his sheets but found none causing him to bolt to a sitting position. He now noticed that he was in a desert with the sun in the center of the sky confirming it was the middle of the afternoon. Additionally, he wasn't alone.

A girl with green skin and red hair was lying unconscious in the sand next to him. Ben backed up and tumbled down a dune landing in a heap of hot sand with a shocked shout. This caused the girl to lift her head off the ground. She rubbed her eyes and looked around in confusion.

"Hi…" Ben announced from the bottom of the dune startling her. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you."

"You're human." She tilted her head. "That means you wouldn't speak Martian."

"Oh, you're a Martian." Ben climbed up from the dune. "So, I'll take a stab in the dark and say you don't know where we are."

The Martian stood clearly confused. "I was kind of hoping you knew."

"All I can tell you is that this is a desert, and it doesn't look like the usual desert I train with my mentor in." Ben shrugged. "I got nothing else. Do you know anything?"

The Martian looked deep into her mind, but it felt clouded. "No." She sighed with a solemn tone. "Not at all."

"Well, I don't remember you, but we ended up here together." Ben crossed his arms. "I have no intention of attacking you, and you haven't attacked me. That must mean we're in this together." He nodded. "Guess we should exchange names. I'm not in costume, so you can call me Ben."

"I'm M'gann." M'gann replied.

They ended up shaking hands, and it oddly enough felt familiar to them. They let go and looked around at their surroundings.

"I don't see any structures in the distance." Ben held up his Omnitrix. "Maybe if I got a bit higher."

This caught M'gann's eye. "Wait, you're the wielder of the Omnitrix." She stared at him. "My uncle told me about you. He's Martian Manhunter."

"Huh, maybe that's why we're out here." Ben tried to reason. "I mean, my mentor is the first Green Lantern member of the Justice League. Maybe he got your uncle on board, and we're training together."

"Maybe." M'gann shrugged. "I haven't really trained before, but it's as good an explanation as any."

"The only thing I can think to do is try to get a scope of the land from the air." Ben activated his Omnitrix. "Just wait here, and I'll see what's around us." He selected his Aerophibian and slammed the face plate down. "Jetray!"

Jetray flew into the sky before stopping and doing a three-sixty scan of the area. Once he surveyed the area, the alien came back down.

"There's nothing around." Jetray slammed the dial on his chest reverting to normal. "No mountains, no cities… nothing."

M'gann was in awe at what she'd seen, but their attention was drawn to something which loudly roared. Ben allowed his hand to float leisurely above his watch while M'gann wasn't used to combat, so she got behind her new friend.

Suddenly, a boom of sound echoed through the air around them signifying someone moving. Then, A person crash landed near them, and he seemed angry. It was another teenager, around their age, wearing a black t-shirt with a red 'S' emblazoned on it.

"Wait… Superman?" Ben asked confused.

The teen let out a fearsome scream and tore the shirt off his body tossing it aside. The boy jumped at them and attempted to grab Ben. The young hero in training managed to turn around and tackle M'gann to the ground causing the boy to soar over them.

"You really aren't used to combat, are you?" Ben got up and M'gann shook her head in response. "Alright, just stay back because I'm starting to think this isn't all some sort of training exercise."

He dialed trough his aliens intending to go for Frankenstrike, but there was a new alien in his list. It's build seemed about right to handle something like this, so he decided to hedge his bets. Ben slammed the faceplate down on an Appoplexian.

"Rath!" Rath shouted getting the boy to look at the alien. "Let me tell you something, Superman wannabe. Superman would not attack people for no reason. As for Rath, I will not allow you to attack this pretty lady." M'gann blushed. "You want to fight something, fight Rath!"

The teenager snarled before yelling as he charged at Rath. The Appoplexian, despite his lower intelligence, currently had a lot more than this wild teenager who charged him. Rath avoided the angry guy and landed a powerful punch that sent him skipping across the sand.

The teenager hit a large boulder and shattered it upon impact with his body. The boy stood up a moment after and shook his head dusting the rubble from his shoulders. The boy screamed at Rath and prepared to come at him only to be nailed by some sort of explosive.

The boy seemed to have the attention span of an animal considering he completely forgot about Rath. The teen immediately jumped into the air and towards the direction of that explosion where he'd find armed men and tanks.

"Let me tell you something, no one ignores Rath!" Rath yelled after the boy and prepared to go after him. "I will beat you!"

"Ben, wait!' M'gann yelled stopping him. "Please don't leave me here!"

Rath stopped and turned to face her. "Alright, Rath won't leave the pretty lady, but only because pretty lady request it." He slammed the Omnitrix symbol to change back to normal before blushing heavily. "About that… I… I…"

"No, it's okay." M'gann hugged him. "I know you couldn't control yourself but thank you for protecting me."

"Yeah, don't mention it." Ben regained himself and focused up as he stepped back. "With that explosion, I don't feel safe with us out in the open." He dialed up his Kineceleran. "We need to move and fast." He slammed the faceplate down. "XLR8!"

XLR8 picked M'gann up bridle style and held her close before speeding out of the area.

With Kyle

Kyle had no idea what was going on. The last thing he remembered was sleeping by his mother's bed side. The next, he was lying beside a large boulder in the middle of the desert.

"Maybe I hit my head?" He asked herself before noticing a dull, Green Lantern ring on his finger. "That's odd. I don't remember buying a phony ring. Come to think of it, I can't remember anything, and my head hurts." He sighed. "This doesn't make any sense."

"Maybe I could help shed some light on this." A voice Kyle spoke from behind him.

Kyle whirled around to see a girl in blue and black spandex suit with a formfitting blue mask that covered the bottom half of her face. She wore a belt with Dr. Fate's symbol on it.

"You're that heroine, Lucky Girl, that I've been seeing on the news." Kyle stated in shock. "Was I kidnapped or something? Is that why my head hurts?"

"Not exactly." Lucky Girl replied. "Look, we're in Bialya, and your head probably hurts because you were hit by a telepathic attack that wiped your memories. If it's anything like what happened to me, I'd say about six months' worth."

"Wait, if the same thing happened to you, how come you know what's going on?" Kyle asked.

Lucky Girl opened her mouth to answer, but she suddenly stiffed before looking off to the side. Without a word, she dashed forward, grabbed Kyle by the back of his shirt, and erected a mana platform she used to fly them through the air.

"Whoa, what's going on!" Kyle yelled shocked as he looked back at her.

"We were found by the Bialyans." Gwen explained. "Sorry, but explanations will have to wait."

Kyle looked back at where they'd been only to notice a large group of armed men and tanks were nearing where they'd been. "I can live with that." He may have no idea why he was here, but he was extremely thankful to be with a hero. "Wait as long as you want to tell me what's going on."

With Robin

The boy wonder jolted awake and looked at himself. His gloves, boots, and cape were missing. His pants were now shorts with clear signs of damage, and his top wasn't in any better shape.

"Anata wa tengu no joka sa re ta you ni mie masu (Looks like you were cleansed of the Tengu)." A male voice spoke.

Robin's attention was drawn to the top of the rock where a young man was crouched. This young man looked Japanese with short black hair and brown eyes. He was muscular from years of training. He wore baggy black pants with matching black boots and fingerless gloves.

He also had on a black, sleeveless tunic with accents of teal. A sword was sheathed diagonally across his back while pouches of weapons were around his waist. Robin was confused since the area didn't seem like Japan to him. He also couldn't speak the

"Were you the one who dragged me out here?" Robin asked.

"Forgive me." The guy bowed his head. "I am more familiar with my homeland's tongue. I am sorry to say that it was not I who brought you out here. I came across you while on my familial mission. You got caught up in it as I was not able to help you like the others."

"I was with others?" Robin questioned. "Was one of them Batman?"

"The Dark Knight of Gotham?" The guy jumped down as he received a nod. "Not to my knowledge. The people you were with looked nothing like him. Before you ask, I don't know much of anything about your group."

Before Robin could ask another question, he pushed the teen back. "Something's coming."

The Japanese hero felt it best to comply since this person was another hero and no longer under the possession of the Tengu. They both watched as a military jeep breezed past their current location.

"Those were Bialyan Republican Military Uniforms." Robin commented.

"That makes sense since we are in Bialya last time I checked." The man commented.

"If this is Bialya, what am I doing here?" Robin asked.

"I was hoping you could tell me." The man replied. "All I know is that I came here because this is where the Tengu is. I have been tracking and fighting him since picking up where my mother left off."

"Wait… your mother… Tengu… the outfit." Robin put the pieces together. "Your mother is Bushido. She's a warrior of order and hero."

"Was Bushido." The guy corrected. "Klarion the Witch Boy appeared months ago and struck her down breaking the seal my family has kept for ages. As he left with the Tengu, my mother put her sword in my hands and told me to continue. I am Bushido now."

"I'm sorry to hear that." Robin stated.

"Don't be." Bushido replied. "My mother died an honorable death."

"The best I can figure now is that me, and this group you saw me with, are after something connected to at least Klarion." Robin stated. "I don't know what he would be doing here, but if he controls the Tengu, it's all I got."

"I'm working with about as much information as you; however, I do recall spotting a green skinned individual parting from your group." Bushido informed. "Shortly after, your group gripped your heads. Most wondered off, but one acted like a raging animal.

I was concerned, but my attention was drawn to a Tengu which came from a nearby white tent. I acted to seal your bodies from his possession, but I was too late when it came to you. Your possessed body and I ended up fighting before the Tengu was driven off."

"Maybe that group I was with has answers for the both of us." Robin sighed. "Look, I have no idea what's going on here, but Klarion is no friend of a hero. Additionally, you could have ended me at any time, so how about we team up to find out what's going on here?"

Normally, Robin wouldn't be so ready to team up with a hero he's barely met before, but he was lacking a lot right now. Strangely, it felt right to work with another young hero. Like he's done it before and not in the way it usually happens.

"To die an honorable death is what one should seek in our line of work, but to die foolishly is no death worth having." Bushido looked to Robin before holding out his hand. "Let's work together to solve what is going on here."

Robin shook the offered hand.

With Wonder Girl

"Hey!" A voice yelled making Kid Flash stir. "Hey, wake up!"

Kid Flash opened his eyes, and the first thing he saw was what looked like Wonder Girl; however, he didn't remember her wearing black. Then, he noticed the shack they were in which was certainly not the Null Void. This made him dash backwards, into the wall, away from her.

"Whoa, easy Kid Flash." Cassandra assured. "I don't know what you've been through, where we are, or how I ended up finding you, but I'm going to get you back home somehow. Whoever's been keeping you here won't keep you here any longer."

"Is this some sort of test set up by Sevantis?" Kid Flash thought confused. "This can't be. Wonder Girl is nowhere on that list of threats I was shown. What's going on here?"

"Threats?" Wonder Girl asked confused. "What are you talking about?"

Kid Flash was about to cover his butt on that one when both young heroes heard a whistling noise. Since it was getting closer, Wonder Girl picked Kid Flash up before flying them out of the shack. She knew he could likely protect himself, but she did just get him back.

They just got out of the shack as several shells blew it up. From the air, the pair could see a squadron of tanks driving up the hill with a jeep leading the charge. The gunner on top began firing on the heroes in the sky forcing Wonder Girl to dodge.

She quickly flew them out of there and spoke once they were clear of the men. "Hey Kid Flash, not to pry, but what were you talking about back there with the whole threats thing?"

"Sorry, I'm just really confused right now." Kid Flash stated. "I was somewhere horrible and feel really disoriented."

With XLR8 & M'gann

XLR8 just kept running with the Martian in his arms; however, there didn't seem to be an end to the massive desert. Eventually, he brought them to a stop and set M'gann down before changing back to normal.

"What's going on?" M'gann asked.

"I'm sorry, but we might need the Omnitrix later." Ben replied. "See, it's got an energy limit to it these days rather than this ten-minute limit it used to have back when I first got it. While going by energy can keep me as aliens longer, it'll still end up timing out eventually.

"I see." M'gann nodded. "There's no need to apologize then." She smiled. "You're just doing what you can to keep us both safe."

Without realizing it, the two of them had gotten closer and only realized it now because they could really look into each other's eyes. Something about this felt familiar. Like they had gotten this close to each other before, but neither had any such memory they could drum up.

Suddenly, something landed near them, and Ben hovered his palm over his Omnitrix while M'gann hid behind him. What he wasn't expecting were two teenagers he was familiar with to have arrived. The first was Wonder Girl and the second was…

"Kid Flash! You're here!" Ben exclaimed in shock and joy. "Where have you been? Wonder Girl, how did you find him?"

"Chimera is here to… The Coming Storm." Wally thought in shock. "Is this Sevantis giving me a chance to kill him? That's not right. Ending him is Agent 11's job."

M'gann peaked out from behind Ben. "Are these friends of yours Ben?"

"Oh, I'm sorry M'gann." Ben stated sincerely and gently. "You have nothing to worry about with them. Wonder Girl was the first hero I met, outside of my family, while Kid Flash is a great guy. They're both good friends of mine."

"Wait, is he being gentle with that frightened Martian?" Kid Flash looked him up and down. "Even after all my time with Sevantis, I still don't get it. Ben doesn't act like some Coming Storm out to end us all. Still, those kids seem so sure of it."

In the end, Ben and Wonder Girl got to talking about everything that happened, and how they were all lost on what happened. Kid Flash stayed back observing while M'gann floated four feet off the ground in a meditative position trying to recover her memories.

"…Essentially, none of us have any idea where are or how we got out here. So, mass amnesia?" Ben crossed his arms. "Maybe we were kidnapped?"

"No!" M'gann's eyes snapped open as she flew over to Ben and the others. "You're Wally West, Cassandra Sandsmark, and Ben… Ben, you're our leader!"

"I lead you guys?" Ben grinned. "Sweet!"

Kid Flash narrowed his eyes. "Wait, how do you know my name?"

"It's okay. We're teammates. Friends." M'gann stated. "I made you all cookies!"

"Wait…" Wonder Girl stated. "… You're saying the four of us are teammates?"

"Something happened that erased all our memories." M'gann investigated the distance where more trucks were approaching from. "Look, I'll fill you all in on the way, but Robin, Lucky Girl, Ion, and Superboy need our help."

She walked off prompting the others to follow.

"I recognize Lucky Girl and Robin, but who are Ion and Superboy?" Ben asked.

With Superboy

Superboy roared and snarled as he pulled on his bonds tied to his wrists. Two dozen men, on each side, pulled just barely managing to hold him down. He then yanked on one of the ropes pulling five men to the ground at once.

A single man in the back looked to a hooded figure. "You must control his mind!"

"There doesn't seem to be much mind left for me to control." The man stated with a raspy voice. "Psimon says…" He approached Superboy with his finger outstretched and pressed it to his forehead. "…sleep."

The clone's rage vanished as he collapsed to the ground unconscious. The men eventually gained their second wind and grabbed Superboy by the shoulders. They dragged his sleeping body into a caravan where they took off protected by multiple tanks.

With Robin & Bushido, Evening…

With no clues to go on, the boy wonder had to trust Bushido who said he could lead them back to where he first spotted him and the other heroes. They ended up spotting some machine which resulted in Robin pulling the Japanese hero down.

"What's wrong?" Bushido asked confused. "You were with that group around that thing."

"Exactly. You observed us from a distance that night and didn't get near it after." Robin retorted. "For all we know that machine may have been what caused my memory loss."

"That is actually a good point." Bushido admitted. "So, what do we do?"

Suddenly, the sand around the machine shifted as a large, pink sphere lifted a squad of solders into the air eliciting screams of fear from the men. Those were silenced as the sphere was lifted behind Robin and Bushido before crashing into the ground hard enough to knock them out.

"What the heck?" Robin asked.

Bushido was looking to the sky and got his current partner's attention. "Robin, that person descending likely did this, and she was also one of the people with you last night."

"Robin, I thought you might end up back here!" Lucky Girl shouted relieved. "Just wait there! Ion and I are coming down!"

"What do you think?" Bushido asked.

"So, she was one of the people I was with…" Robin commented before shaking his head as no answers were coming to him. "I think it's fine. I at least know her, but that guy with her is a mystery to me. Still, I think she can be trusted.

With Ben's Group

After hours of walking in the hot sun, M'gann nearly collapsed. Ben then swung her shoulder around his neck and supported her across the sandy plain. After the sun went down, and the moon came out, the Martian recovered. Eventually, the group crested a hill.

They saw Lucky Girl, Kyle, Robin, and Bushido tying up the unconscious solders. Of course, most of the group only really recognized Lucky Girl and Robin. They all convened and spent several minutes introducing each other. Then, M'gann and Lucky Girl explained the situation.

"So, the last six months of our memory are gone?" Kyle questioned shocked.

"You expect me to believe we're all a team." Wally chuckled. "I mean, I went with it before, but I just got to question it now."

"Bushido isn't, but the seven of us, plus Superboy, are." M'gann replied.

"Did this Superboy have an S emblazoned on the shirt he wore?" Bushido produced the fabric. "I picked this up, as I ran after Robin, knowing the importance of the symbol."

"If what Lucky Girl told us is true, Superboy was born less than six months ago." Robin summarized. "Take away his memories, and you're left with raw instinct."

"That would explain M'gann, and I's encounter with him." Ben stated. "Still, he didn't know who we are, so I can't really blame him. Though, most of us don't know who we are."

"I just got something!" Robin exclaimed as a memory came to him. "I remember Batman ordering radio silence. Our team must work for him."

"It would make more sense if we worked for my mentor or Ben's." Kid scoffed. "Everyone knows your mentor is against the Omnitrix, so there's no way he'd allow Ben to be our leader like the Martian claims."

"Okay, I officially hate being in the dark." Cassandra stated. "M'gann or Lucky Girl, you two seem to have your memories, or some of them, is there any way you can just return ours?"

"I could restore all your memories, one at a time, using the same spell I did on myself, or I could actually use your help on this M'gann." Lucky Girl stated. "If you can bring us all into one mind space, my magic can restore all our memories at once."

M'gann rubbed her wrists nervously. "Well, I don't know if I could, but Superboy could be in real danger out there with every minute we waste here." She took a breath but still seemed uncertain. "Alright, I can do this."

"In that case, I'll take to watching you backs." Bushido declared. "I'll ensure no one sneaks up on us."

Ben still didn't know why, but he felt like himself and M'gann were really close to each other.

He didn't like her seeming nervous, so he grabbed her hands. "It's okay M'gann." He offered her a gentle smile. "I'm sure you can do this."

M'gann smiled. "Thank you, Ben."

Her eyes glowed.

Mindscape

Suddenly, Ben, Robin, Wonder Girl, Lucky Girl, Miss Martian, and Kid Flash opened their eyes and looked around. They were in some sort of odd dimension where their individual memories were scattered around them like a broken mirror.

"I've managed to bring you into my mind." M'gann stated. "Will this suffice Lucky Girl?"

"This is exactly what I need." Gwen stated. "With this, I can completely restore everyone's memory."

"Wait." Kid Flash was thinking quick. "Do you have to prowl through our minds? There's a lot about my time in the Null Void none of you should have to see. It was pretty awful."

"I have no intention of intruding." Lucky Girl assured.

Wonder Girl noticed he was still concerned, so she grabbed his hand in comfort. "It'll be okay." She nodded to him. "We're all right here with you."

Kid Flash smiled. "Alright, go for it."

Lucky Girl's hands glowed pink and gold. Magic and mana flowed from person to person connecting them. Memories flooded into their brains like a dam ready to burst. They remembered. How they met, the missions they've been on, and the people who've joined.

Those that didn't know found out why they were here. It was some sort of power surge unlike anything Batman had seen. Since Bialya wasn't a part of the league's charter, they decided the team was the best covert option to investigate this anomaly.

The mission was to discover what the high-power surge was and depart unnoticed. After arriving, M'gann established the psychic link and headed out. She arrived in a tent where Bialyan scientists were testing some sort of device.

M'gann reached out to the sentient machine only to hear a man's voice enter their psychic link speaking ominously. M'gann looked around for the intruder only to notice a man with paper white skin and a disgusting, visible brain. His name was Psimon.

He mentally attacked the Martian which attacked the team through the link. Everyone was thrown into an agonizing frenzy. Superboy leapt off into the distance while the others ended up wondering away. The information didn't stop there as they ended up seeing Robin.

Something phased into him and changed the boy wonder. Robin became a bipedal, black bird creature with red garbs and twin white katanas. Then, the perspective shifted to his as Bushido stood in his path drawing his black katana. Everything finally flashed white.

Waking World

"Superboy!" They shouted in unison.

"This is bad." Kyle stated as his ring activated cloaking him once more in his hero suit. "Knowing our luck, the bad guys probably got him."

"Here's what we're going to do." Ben stated. "Robin, take Ion, Kid Flash, and Wonder Girl to Ship before bringing him to that tent. M'gann, Lucky Girl, and I will go to that tent. That's the only place nearby they could bring him.

"If you are going directly right of here, then I shall accompany you." Bushido declared as he rejoined the group. "I can sense the Tengu that way, and my blade that can free the possessed. By now, Superboy is away from my protection."

"Wait, are you saying a demon may possess him?" Lucky Girl questioned.

"That is exactly what I am saying." Bushido replied. "Again, why you need my weapon. It is a weapon that is dull against all save those of chaos, and the only thing that can separate the Tengu from its host. Without me, you could lose him… one way or another."

"Considering what we saw, you're in." Ben declared. "Let's move everyone." He then looked to Bushido and Lucky Girl. "When we arrive, you two need to stay out while M'gann and I phase our way in. If something kicks off, you fight."

The swordsman and magic user nodded as everyone moved out.

The Tent, Later…

Lucky Girl and Bushido were bedded down at the perimeter while M'gann and Ben, as Big Chill, covertly slipped inside the tent. Scientists were typing away while Superboy was strapped to a horizontal table facing upwards.

Electricity was surging through his body while a sphere nearby was revving its engine. M'gann rushed in while pushing several men out of the way. She shut down the electro-therapy as Psimon mentally scanned the room and found a mental opponent in the tent with him.

"Well, someone is definitely glutton for punishment." Psimon smirked. "Psimon says, forget!"

This time, M'gann was ready to fight. Psimon locked eyes with her, even though she was invisible, and they began to battle it out in the mental realm. At this point, subtly was out the window. Big Chill revealed himself shocking the men.

Before they could even raise a gun, he froze them and proceeded to freeze up the tent. This way, M'gann and Psimon could battle it out without interruption. Especially since the sound of fighting outside proved Lucky Girl and Bushido had jumped in.

Outside

"Ice is covering the tent." Bushido stated.

"Then, that's our cue to get involved." Lucky Girl declared.

The pair lept out catching the gawking guards, they were staring at the tent in shock, off guard. Bushido had drawn his sword and swung it in rapid succession. True to his word, it didn't break skin, but Bushido was strong enough to knock men out.

Lucky Girl was blasting them back with her mana. This drew the soldier's attention on them which got the men moving. By now, it was a full-scale battle, and any soldier who focused on the tent was immediately made to pay by the two heroes.

Inside

Practically as soon as Big Chill finished freezing the tent, a cyclone ripped it all apart sending frozen scientist flying. The Necrofriggian reverted to normal and trekked through the winds back to where he M'gann, now visible, was. He managed to grab her hand.

As he made physical contact with her, Ben was suddenly transported into a floating amalgam of buildings. Psimon shot a massive beam of crimson mental energy at her barely defending shield. Everything around them began to fade as her memories began to erase themselves quickly.

"Not again!" M'gann shouted.

Her psionic waves exploded outwards returning everything back to the way it was. She continued to fire back with mental energy slamming into the psychic villain knocking him out, for at least a couple of seconds, but the battle wasn't over yet.

"Ben?" M'gann rejoiced upon noticing him only for Psimon to come back in attacking her. "He's too strong. I can't beat him!"

"Yes, you can!" Ben shouted as floated up to meet her eyes. "I believe in you!"

"He has more skill, experience, and…" M'gann began.

Ben interrupted by grabbing her hand in his own and tightening his grip. "You are so much stronger than you think you are. You're one of the strongest, kindest, most beautiful girls I know. I believe you can do anything, and that includes beating this guy!"

"Touching." Psimon scoffed as he crossed his arms. "If you really think you can, beat me down."

He sent a thicker wave of mental fire at her, but M'gann deflected it. She then fired a green wave of mental energy at the psychic-mad-man. Psimon was knocked back into the mental space once again. This time he put up a shield of black energy which held for only a second.

His shield begun cracking and withering away. "You shouldn't be capable of this!"

"You have no idea what I'm capable of!" M'gann shouted.

Her eyes turned white, and her forehead unleashed a beam of energy which pierced Psimon's clear skull. She connected with his brain destroying his mental self in a massive explosion. He screamed in agony on the outside as his psyche was shattered to pieces.

As the tornado died down, Lucky Girl and Bushido entered the collapsed tent with the latter drawing shuriken. He threw them into the room destroying any equipment left standing. One shuriken landed on the console that trapped the sphere like alien device releasing it.

It beeped happily at him while another shuriken hit the console releasing Superboy's restraints allowing him to fall to the ground. Lucky Girl immediately rushed over to him really concerned about the clone and worried this might not work.

Superboy snarled and backed away from her. "It's going to be okay." Gwen soothed. "I'm just here to help you be you again."

Gwen glowed pink and gold before placing her hand on his forehead. Suddenly, everything came rushing back into his head.

Superboy looked up at her. "So, did we win?"

Ben, supporting M'gann over his shoulder, approached the pair with Bushido walking beside them. "We may have taken the long road to get there, but I think we won." He looked at the swordsman who was staring off into the distance. "Hey, are you okay?"

"No, the Tengu is there." Bushido declared.

Ben whirled around, with M'gann, while the others looked as well. There, on a sand dune looking down at them, was a transparent version of the thing Robin turned into. The soldier of chaos glared at the gathered heroes before vanishing.

"He is gone now." Bushido breathed a sigh of relief. "He must have known he couldn't possess his target with me around, but he'll be back. When he comes, I'll be ready."

The sphere came up to Superboy and blinked causing him to look at Ben. "Can I keep him?"

"After everything you've endured, sure buddy." Ben stated. "Now, I want to get the heck out of Bialya. This place is awful."

"Agreed." Lucky Girl, M'gann, and Superboy stated.

"If you do not mind, I would like to hitch a ride with you." Bushido declared. "With the Tengu out there, other heroes should know of the threat he possesses."

"When I said everyone, I meant everyone." Ben smiled. "After how helpful you've been, you best believe I'm recommending you join the team. Now, let's get the heck out of here!" As they walked away Ben remembered something. "Wait, what happened to my hero costume?"

No one knew the answer to that one.

Unknown

Psimon stood in the center of a room surrounded by screens which displayed silhouettes of Light members. "I'm sorry. The heroes escaped with the sphere and the Superboy.

"That hardly matters." A female voice spoke up. "What matters is our new partner's delivery system."

Behind Psimon, a screen appeared showing a doorway across space and dropping equipment at the test site that was destroyed.

"Speaking of new technology, did we do on retrieving a new schematic?" Another voice spoke up.

"Ben Tennyson was out cold, so Agent 11 had an easy time of it." A male intervened. "With this fresh scan, in due time, I can craft a watch that will put Azmuth's to shame; however, it will not allow me to shed this disgusting form. For that, I still need the original."

"How long will it take?" The gruff voice asked.

"It will depend on the technology I have access to." The voice replied. "After all, I only have my copy and the schematics at this time."

"I still think we should have destroyed the boy." A voice declared.

"The Omnitrix's defenses would not have allowed it even with him unconscious." The voice declared. "We must prepare accordingly to deal with him properly. Once we are prepared, the world will know The Light…"

In case it wasn't clear, Rath ended up being unlocked through Kevin scanning the Omnitrix in this chapter. It has been shown, quite a bit, in canon that messing with the Omnitrix has the potential to unlock an alien. From what I've read on him, I'd place Rath on the same level as this Superboy. For those of you who need a reminder, this Superboy is faster and stronger than his canon counterpart.

johnymike98: Quite a few people just liked the pairing, some argued it'd make a nice parallel with Max, and others liked the idea for what it could bring to the Martian story from season four. The Omnitrix is essentially supposed to be the ultimate tool of peace, so connect the dots. Alien X will come eventually, and I don't know how Ben woudl react to that news.

Omnihallows: Actually, the Omniverse future can't be the same future as the OG series. Kenny doesn't have his own Omnitrix and is Spanner instead, Rook is there, the Plumbers clearly have a Prescence of earth. Additionally, we don't really see Gwen or Kevin. Additonally Additonally, it is stated and proven that every time Ben meets his future self, the future changes anyways. I don't think the Secret Saturdays will have existed here. Rex didn't share the same universe as ben in the OG series. That was Ben traveling to an alternate version of his world. Essentially, Rex is the Ben of that universe and Ben is the Rex of his universe. Yeah, I have an idea for a crossover.

Aztec 13: Thanks

Guest: Some of them yes, some of them no. The Team didn't really go to meet each other's personal lifes on screen, so maybe. I have already added some alien force episodes, and I plan on adding more. I'm not sure ont hat movie though.

TFG" Maybe

Guest (ch. 4): I'm not sure what you could have found odd with this chapter. The Light did abduct a hero in canon to clone, Ben, in canon, did have a code to pretty much overload Malware, and Ben did loose an alien to Malware in canon anyways. Hey, thanks for giving it a chance.

painville: Sevantis never had to erase memories in this universe as his chosen Rooters haven't failed him due to the caution Savantis has shown. Honestly, the original recruits don't need mind control. They don't have false memories. They're outcasts and parentless with the Rooters being the only family they've known.

At this time, they are devoted to the cause and view each other as a found family. Wally is an outlier, but he spent months in the Null Void before being saved by the Rooters. With a lot of coercion, think that speech Sevsntis gave kevin except multiples times over, to brainwash him into buying into what Sevantis was selling. Essentially Wally is Omniverse Kevin except he genuinely believes in what was sold to him
