Ch 03 Gentleman
The redhead got up out of his seat to stretch himself.
"Boy that hits the spot, excellent quality as always Vlad, but you might want to work on your customer service a bit, especially with Alina, tell her not to be so talkative at least not with elite clients, who simply just want to enjoy their meal in peace"
Vladimir with a sad look on his face he forced a smile "Of course anything for m… You sir, thank you for your patronage."
Childe replied "Don't worry I haven't forgotten to spread the good word about this place to the Tsaritsa, I will make sure you are back on her good graces" He then picked up a peculiar device a silver bracelet with a small blue marble in the middle. He pressed the blue marble and the bracelet started shinning, a voice was heard from the bracelet
"Hello?" the voice answered
"Hello, Igor? This is Tartaglia is Mishka there?"
"Sir, my apologies I didn't recognized your voice, of course here he is…"
"Hello, sir? This is Mishka speaking, how may I help you?"
"Listen, tell our Lady Tsaritsa that Mr. Vladimir is willing to cooperate with us now, also please send to the restaurant 3 of our best hosts and hostesses and also send Patricia over tell her I got a tall order for her"
"Yes sir… Anything else?"
"That is all" he pressed the blue marble again as he finished talking "Okay that takes care of that" he smiled
Vladimir asked "I guess I have no choice…"
Childe smiled "I am afraid not, gramps. Come on the Fatui aren't as bad as you think, I promise you with the help I am sending, your restaurant will be brimming with costumers, don't worry everything is on me. Nobody will harass or charge you anything and if they do just give me a call" He tossed him a bracelet "Here you will communicate with me through this, whatever complain or information you have, just call me if I don't answer you can leave a message and I will get back to you, that's a promise" Said the redhead with his thumb up
"Thanks I promise I will cooperate this time and I will not speak ill will of the Tsaritsa ever again" the old man replied in a submissive tone
"Good, alright! The girlie and I have to get going. Teucer and the rest of the family will start to worry about us" he then turned towards Lumine "Ready?"
Just as she was about to reply she started to feel dizzy "I feel kind of dizzy, what was in that wine anyway? My body feels super heavy"
"Whoops!" he said it in a smug way "I guess I shouldn't have made you drink all that wine, especially since this is your first time drinking Krovavo, it's a wine yes but it can be quite heavy, it's probably as heavy as our Fire Water, silly me" said the redhead in a sarcastic tone
Lumine angry replied "Bullshit! you did this on purpose, you wanted to get me drunk huh? just what the hell are you planning? you pervert!"
Childe laughed at the remark "Oh girlie... Please… If I wanted to have my way with you I would have done so back at the golden house there were many opportunities where I could have taken advantage of you in that way"
The golden eyed blonde blushed at his remark "Well… Whatever! I can't move so you're just going to carry me" She bluffed thinking that Childe wasn't going to take her seriously on her demand. But determined the redhead responded "I guess I have no other choice" He approaches the blonde girl, grabs her and carries her princess style
"What the hell are you doing?!" The blonde girl screamed
"Easy now girlie, you can't walk after all so the best thing to do here is to carry you all the way" in a mocking tone he also added "You're really heavy, you might want to ease up on the sweets"
The girl red as a tomato gave him a slap "You're such an ass, put me down I can walk I can walk!"
The redhead continued to tease her "Struggle all you can comrade, I am not letting you go" he then proceeded to put a spell on her that disabled all her magic abilities "Just in case you want to throw a wind blade at me, besides it's best you behave you really don't want to make a commotion here more than you already are"
Resigned, Lumine obliged and let him carry her "Fine let's go then… Thank you so much for everything Sir Vladimir, the meal was delicious and the wine was very good"
Vladimir in disbelief at what was happening "Is this how you pick up women, my child? You really have a problem…"
The redhead with a proud grin on his face "If only… No she is just a comrade and a rival of mine, she is very special in my life though and Teucer really likes her so it's in my best interest to keep her safe" he winked
Lumine clearly annoyed just huffed not wanting to bring any more attention "Let's go already, please"
"As you wish my princess" he chuckled as he said that to her in a teasing manner.
They left the restaurant, outside there was a black car waiting for them, Childe smiled with relief and thought to himself ("finally just in time my arms are starting get numb")
A man dressed in black with a mask got out of the car and approached Childe and Lumine
"Sir here's the people you requested, and Miss Patricia is here as well"
Childe said "Good, go to the restaurant and w-"
He was interrupted by a tall blonde and very sensual looking but serious woman "It's been a long time, Tartaglia but it still seems your taste in women hasn't changed" she started at the golden eyed blonde girl he was carrying in his arms "But isn't she a little too young?" she mocked "She clearly doesn't have any….Attributes"
Lumine annoyed by the remarks the blonde woman made "The name is Lumine and I am 20 ye-"
She was interrupted by Childe "Patricia… seems you're as friendly as ever" said in a sarcastic tone "I didn't called you here to question my taste in women, besides this is Lumine, she is a friend of the family and she's he-"
"Don't care…" said the tall blonde woman in a crude manner as she stared at herself in her small compact mirror while putting lip gloss on, she then asked "Why did you wanted me to visit this….place for? and I better get paid for this"
"Of course, name your price, no amount is too steep for me" Said the redhead with confidence
The woman smiled closed her compact mirror and caressed his face in a flirtatious way "I love a man that throws his mora around like its paper, so hot..." she then stared at Lumine and sighed "Ugh... It's a shame though, what poor taste. Anyways what's the mission here?"
Childe not being able to hold Lumine any longer "Let me take care of her first" he proceeded to put Lumine inside the car and he gave her his sweetest smile "I'll be back, don't worry as long as I am here no one will dare to lay a finger on you" he then proceeded to close the car door and turned towards his subordinates "If something happens to her, I will make every single nightmares of yours come true, you know what happens when I am angry" In fear both Mishka and Igor replied "YES SIR! WE WILL PROTECT HER WITH OUR LIFE SIR" Childe smiled in an unsettling way "Very good… I love it when my dogs are obedient"
He then went back to the blonde tall woman "So here's the deal Patricia, I want you to make this restaurant in one of Snezhnaya's hottest spot"
The tall blond woman closes her compact mirror in disbelief and bursts out laughing "Are you serious? You want me Patricia Bershka, Snezhnaya's best marketing consultant to make this place in to a hotspot?"
Childe in a rude way he questioned her "oh? You can't do it? Do you really mean to tell me that the great Patricia Bershka can't make this humble little restaurant a shining gem?" He then laughs in a mocking way "I guess I overestimated you, I should have called Viktor Kraus instead"
As soon as she heard the name Viktor Kraus, Patricia started seeing red. Viktor Kraus was one of her biggest rivals in the marketing industry in Snezhnaya. He also is in the Tsaritsa's best graces, something that Patricia still hasn't managed to achieve despite the fact that she has been working with the Fatui longer than he has.
She replied angry, defeated and affected by Childe's words "There's no need for that… You really know where to hit me huh?" She pauses, then with a big sigh she replies "Okay… I'll do it. I just hope the owner doesn't give me any trouble, at the first sign of complains I am leaving this project, got it? and also I am keeping all the mora if that happens"
"You got it!" He replied gleefully
"Come on we have a lot of work to do guys" Patricia said to her workers, she then turned towards the redhead "You can go to your doll now, don't worry I will make sure this place turns out amazing" she said as she shoved him towards the vehicle
"Okay! Okay! I am counting on you, legs" said Childe with triumph
The tall blonde woman replied "Shut the hell up and get out!"
He laughs as he gets inside the vehicle "Alright, see ya"
He closes the door, the engine starts and the vehicle beings to move.
The car drives away
