Chapter 4

Tony Stark was beamed up with SG-1 to Thor's ship, The O'Neill. Seeing this Thor in person was most breath taking for Tony for this Thor not only looked drastically different but also sounded and acted different as well. He was simply without words for a moment as a frog crept in his throat.

Jack greeted, "Thor ole buddy."

"Colonel O'Neill." Thor welcomed him. He looked upon the new face. "You have a new member on your team."

"This is Tony. He's from another reality. Like that mirror thing but he came using these…Infinity Stones." he explained.

Tony stepped forth, "It's nice to meet you, Thor. I know you in my universe. We're friends…um…boy that cloning…" he winced upon the site.

"You came via Infinity Stones?" he asked concerned.

"In my universe Thanos got them, used them to snap half the population away and me and my team used time travel to get them first and there was this big battle and I used them to try to neutralize myself and Thanos. It was only after I came here that I realized the stones moved matter and didn't erase matter."

Thor stated, "All matter is rooted in energy. You cannot destroy or…erase energy. It must go someplace else. I have intelligence reports on Thanos. The Asgard see him as a threat. If he gains the Infinity Stones in this universe he will discover their true power and rule with impunity. The Asgard have one stone. We do not know where the rest of the stones are."

Jack stated, "Keep your stone safe, Thor."

"Indeed." he agreed.

Tony spoke up, "In my universe our Asgard do not look anything like you. They look human. Thor in my universe is a good friend of mine. Sam had an idea. If I could get my Thor to donate a blood sample, maybe you can use it to help your Asgard." Upon seeing Thor in person he realized just how little time the Asgard had left. He hated seeing Thor suffering and looking more alien than ever. He wanted to help him and the Asgard.

"I would most interested to see the blood work." he agreed. He curiously asked, "In your universe…what am I?"

"You're about six foot tall, have a beard, long hair, you command lightning, have this annoying brother…" he started.

"Loki?" Thor asked.

"You have one here?" Tony winced.

Thor informed, "Loki is my brother. All Asgard are my brothers."

"Is your Loki annoying?" Tony wondered.

Jack sounded, "Yes! He stole my ass and made a mini-me."

Thor excused, "Loki was simply trying to help. Occasionally, he makes mistakes."

"Your Loki sounds way nicer than mine." Tony stated.

Jack wondered, "What's your Loki like?"

"He's got a god complex going and thinks he's better than everyone else. He's selfish, wants to rule the world…" Tony explained while gesturing with his hand.

Thor insisted, "That is not my brother."

"In another universe." Tony reminded him.

Thor changed the subject. "Thanos and the Infinity Stones are our first priority. The Asgard will heighten security for the stone. You must find the other stones before Thanos."

"We can do that." Jack assured him. "I have a question. Lets say we go to Starks universe and get his Thor and bring him back here. Would that whole cascade failure things affect you and him?"

Thor replied, "It would not. The cloning has altered the Asgard to the point where the matter is no longer the same."

Daniel questioned, "What are you asking that for, Jack?"

"I want to see Stark's Thor." he stated.

Sam rubbed the side of her head embarrassed and amused at the same time. She often wondered where Thor got his patients from.

Thor admitted, "I would like to see him too." He wondered what he was like in another reality. "Unless, there is something else to add our briefing is complete."

Daniel asked, "Do you have any idea where we can find the other stones?"

"I do not." Thor replied.

"Damn." he muttered for he knew the task would be difficult.

Thor stated, "I shall warn Asgard of Thanos. That is all I can do."

Short Time Later

SG-1 and Tony returned to Earth after they meeting with Thor. Tony was still struck by how different this Thor was from the Thor he knew. He admitted to Sam, "I wish we could do more for Thor and the Asgard. I mean, he doesn't seem very happy to me."

"They are dying." Sam reminded him. "Kind of hard to be happy when your whole race is dying and nothing seems to help reverse it."

"I know." he agreed. "Just Thor in my universe helped out so much. He was right here with us, fighting for us. I know your Thor would do the same."

"He has!" she nodded.

"I know, in space battles. But my Thor…" he let out a sigh. "Way different." He then admitted, "But your Thor seems a bit more on the ball with tech though."

George Hammond walked through the bulkhead door and marched directly to SG-1. He addressed Jack, "Report Colonel."

"Thor says the Asgard have one of the stones. They are guarding it. He says we need to find the others before Thanos. Has no idea where the rest are." he reported.

"I see," he gave a nod.

Before Hammond could speak Tony interrupted. "Sir…Let me use that mirror to get back to my reality and find my Asgard. Your Asgard need help! Please, let me go find my Thor."

Hammond paused and a slight smile crept across his face. SG-1 knew the look. Something happened that involved the mirror. The team waited.

Tony didn't realize Hammond was holding back. Instead, he continued. "I know it's risky but god damn it…That's not living. My Asgard can help them. Thor…I mean…shit…lets get the blood sample."

"Mr. Stark." Hammond calmly started.

"I know it's a long shot but damn…" he started.

Hammond replied sternly, "Can I have your attention, Mr. Stark?"

"Sir…" he began to advocate for the Asgard. "We can save them…we just need that damn mirror."

Jack looked to Tony, "Will you shut up for a minute?"

Tony looked peeved for he wanted more than anything to help save the Asgard. He then pinched his lips tight and made a zip motions across his face.

Hammond began, "Thank you Mr. Stark. I have word that the mirror had activated and four people came through. Three men and one woman. They are being very cooperative. Their names are: Peggy Carter, Steve Rogers, Thor and Loki." He then added, "Loki is not as cooperative…"

Tony nearly ran in place, "Where are they?"

"They have been brought to the SGC and are in an interrogation room now." he replied.

Sam beamed, "The other Thor is here!"

"Indeed." he gave a smile. "Stow your gear and meet me in the interrogation area." he instructed. He then looked to Tony, "I understand that you want to help save our Asgard. I appreciate it. But in the future, you will have to listen a bit more."

"Yes sir." he agreed. "Sorry…Just…Sorry."

Jack added, "Don't worry about it, Stark. We still are trying to shut Daniel up."

Daniel threw him a look, "I didn't say a word, Jack."

"But you were thinking…" he motioned. He started down the ramp with his team in tow.

Tony found his biggest obstacle was himself. He was use to leading the Avengers and now he was part of a team that he had no control over. He kicked himself for talking over the General who was trying to tell him some good news. He then realized, "General Hammond isn't like most Generals that I have met."

Sam looked upon his and grinned, "I know. He's firm but he's also caring. I've known him since I was a kid. He's like a father figure."

He began to nod in agreement, "Yeah…kind of like a dad."

Jack added as they walked, "You should see him in grandpa mode."

Tony asked, "He's got grand kids?"

Sam informed, "Two little girls. He has their number before the President in the phone."

Tony's mind was blown, "That's an awesome grandpa."
