These two would often sneak to each other's bedrooms at night to play together past their bedtime, and it almost always ended up in sleepy cuddles. Zuko quickly learns that his sister will NOT share the blanket, and that the only way for him not freeze during winter is to let her use him as a pillow.
Zuko hates seeing her crying, hurt or scared, and he fixes it by holding her tight until she's feeling better. Azula will often ask for hugs when she's sad… or happy… or irritated… or bored… or - you get the point.
After Ozai ruined everything, they would often feel lonely, especially at night. As the years pass, they become some estranged from each other that they often forget that this wasn't the way it always was… and that they still miss each other dearly.
Once Zuko helped her conquer Ba Sing Se and Azula brings him back home, they get far more touchy than they were on the years preceding Zuko's banishment. They never hug, hold hands or share a bed like they used to, but they are often touching each other's arms, shoulders, and backs.
After their Agni Kai, Zuko desperately wants to hug Azula, but she just looks so fragile he's scared of even touching her. He stays by her side, talking to her calmly, and is the one who gently frees her from her chains - which leads to her pulling him close and holding him tight. Zuko just wraps his arms around her, soothing her as she cries.
Physical affection is a very important aspect of Azula's recovery, Zuko is more than happy to be the one giving it to her. It eventually leads to them sharing a bed every night again. Holding hands, hugging, kissing each other's cheeks, playing with each other's hairs, cuddling until they fall asleep… all the things they used to do as kids.
One night, Azula hesitantly presses a quick, sweet kiss to Zuko's lips. They don't speak about it at all. She does it again the very next night, and it's almost innocent like the first one was. Almost. Their "goodnight kisses" slowly turn into passionate make out sessions, which then quickly evolve into them spending nearly all night up, making love to each other.
Since training (both for regular fights and for firebending) can be very intense, they give each other massages. They also do it when they're stressed.
After having Izumi, they'd let their baby girl sleep in between them whenever she had nightmares. Azula looks unbelievably cute being such a loving, protective mother, and Zuko can't help but cover her face with kisses seeing her like that.
Even as they're old and gray, they're still just a physically affectionate to each other. Azula still won't share the blanket unless Zuko lets her use him a pillow.
