Anon asked: Canonically, do you think any of Azula's and/or Zuko's friends or family know of Zuko's and/or Azula incestuous feelings for each other (especially taking the comics' Zucest ship teasing into account)? If they did know, how come they never confronted either of them? And if they didn't know but later found out, how would they react? Especially after Azula's breakdown? Would everyone consider Azula's feelings for Zuko just another reason why she is "crazy" or would they have a different reaction?
(This is without taking the comics into consideration, because if I did there's no fucking way there'd still be a single person on earth that didn't go "Oh, they fucking" while looking at these two)
Mai and Ty Lee 100% knew that these two dumbasses were dying to fuck. Iroh was in denial, and Ursa would be too once she came back into their lives and saw just how obsessed they were with each other. Ozai doesn't understand the concept of other people's lives not revolving around him, so he probably didn't know.
The Gaang probably didn't know, but there would be some "incidents" where Zuko would say something about his past friendship with Azula and it sound more like he was talking about a lost love and not about a falling out with his sister. They'd never bring up to him or to one another - except for Toph who would get suspicious and start pestering Zuko about it until he caved and told her the truth.
Some of them, especially the ones who had a bias against Azula to begin with (*cough, cough* Iroh *cough*), would be convinced that this is just another result of her insanity and Zuko's trauma, or even that she somehow "corrupted" Zuko and managed to "force" him to return her feelings. But that would quickly fall apart once they spent more time with these two because it'd become impossible not to realize that their feelings are 100% genuine, and that it actually makes a lot of sense for them to have fallen in love - them liking that fact, is a different story.
