They've pretended to be a regular married couple, Fire Lord and Fire Lady, and, of course, Ozai and Ursa - and Zuko was mad that 8 times out of 10, Azula was the one playing Ozai.
And, before they learned that incest is not morally acceptable on their nation, they always used to play that they were both siblings and a couple. They'd often make jokes about that once they actually got together later on.
