Teloch asked: So basing it on that bias should Ozai attempt to banish Azula, Zuko would challenge Ozai to an Agni Kai to keep Azula with him. If he wins, he'd probably kill Ozai and take Azula as his bride and damn everyone's opinion on it so long as he has his Zula. Probably make him gentler if she nurses him to health if Zuko takes notable damage in his fight. But if he loses that Agni Kai, which would have to one epic fight that damn near cripples both, what happens afterward? Would Azula still be the one banished or would he banish Zuko for challenging him and decide to find some use for Azula that Zuko wouldn't approve of?

As for that Ozai having his way with Azula, that could be a new story to explore for you with Zuko healing Azula, leading to him being the only man she'll accept touching her.

If Zuko lost, I can only see three possibilities.

1 - Ozai tries to kill him, but Azula saves her brother and kills Ozai (add in it being the first time she's able to create an unbelievably powerful blast/generate lightning and you have the type of super dramatic shit I live for)

2 - Ozai banishes both of them, but has them being sent to different parts of the world, while he looks for a new bride so he can have new children to replace the "failed" ones. Obviously, it would lead to them finding each other again and then eventually dethroning their father.

3 - Ozai banishes Zuko and forces Azula into unbelievably intense and cruel training every day to make her as powerful as he wanted her to be, and might force her to marry him when she's of age, or at least try to (I don't headcanon Ozai to have been sexually abusing Azula or even wanting to, but I could see him considering it if it benefited him somehow, like to try and have strong heirs). Obviously Zuko wouldn't rest until he was with Azula again, and they both would train very hard every day so they can eventually be powerful enough to defeat Ozai. If the forced marriage had already happened by the time they did it, Zuko would make sure Ozai's death would be very painful and try to help his sister heal from the trauma.

As you can see, I have a serious bias for "Love conquers all"
