Note: The series is about a brocon little sister that hit a massive growth spurt and now has a hot bod despite being a middle school student. Pretty much everyone is either okay with the incest couple or is a pervert that should be kept away, except for the older brother... who eventually admits to being attracted to his little sister.
Okay, I looked into it, and oh boy, does that work for Zucest, and in a bunch of different scenarios. Canon timeline? Zuko would be chasing off creeps who want to get with his little sister to try and get political power. Modern AU? He's still her older brother and needs to protect her (and kill any guy that so much as looks at her). But it works the best with an AU where their age difference is bigger, so he will be bothered by other people's attraction to her (and creeped out by his own incestuous feelings) because she is his baby sister, and the fact that she is unbelievably hot doesn't justify them being perverts.
And he is 100% losing sleep over Azula's teasing and by her devotion to him. It's just a matter of time before he caves and ends up in bed with her.
