Rita Loud was in the kitchen reading the newspaper slipping on her coffee, she then looked up and saw her husband.

"Morning Lynn." She said

"Morning." He said as she grabbed a cup of coffee. Rita then puts the paper down.

"Look, Lynn, I understand I really don't want to see Lincoln after what happened, but I've decided to see him and our grandchildren." She said.

"Those Freaks aren't our grandchildren!" Lynn insisted.

"Not the girl's kids, Ronnie Anne's, Lincoln told me he had children with Ronnie Anne too and I think that I should at least meet them first." She said

"Fine, do whatever you want, but I want nothing to do with him or those abominations." He said. "I'm late for work, have fun with your screwed up family tree." He said as he left, Rita sighed as she picked up her phone and dialed Lincoln.

-An Hour Later-

Lincoln was in his room getting ready, wearing an orange sweater vest white dress shirt, jeans, and loafers. He looked at himself in the mirror and sighed.

"You got this!" He said as he walked out of his room and found Lori and Luan talking.

"Oh, Lincoln, perfect I need to talk to you." Lori said as she walked up to him. "Look just try not to do anything to upset her, don't bring up our kids and keep things normal," Lori said

"Yeah and please don't say anything about your infidelity or about your arrangement with Ronnie Anne, as far as she knows you two live together.

"Don't you think this little much?" He asked

"Lincoln, this is a very big step on fixing this family that you are risking," Luan said.

"Gee, no pressure." He said.

"Sorry, we just…" Lincoln then placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Lori it's okay, I promise I'll just be discussing Renia and BJ and how I and Ronnie Anne got together." He said. "I'm not that much of an idiot." He said as he gave his sisters a peck on their lips and left. "Now if you excuse me, I have to see my mother." He said

-Elsewhere-

Rita was getting ready for her meet-up, she sets a little try of cookies, milk, and coffee, but Rita was anxious she knew that she can't forgive him but she couldn't stay mad at her son forever, she soon went to her bathroom and looked into the mirror, her prominent gray hairs mixing in with her blonde hair.

"(Sigh) Okay." She said, just then she heard the doorbell ring, she then went over to the door and opened it. To find Lincoln and Ronnie Anne.

"H-Hey Lincoln." She said as she opened the door to reveal her son and (one) of his family

"Hey Mom, you remember Ronnie Anne." He said as he introduced her, Ronnie Anne was wearing a purple blouse, white jeans and had her hair in a ponytail.

"Good to see you again Mrs. Loud." She said

"Good to see you too Ronalda." She said as she looked down and saw two children, one hid behind his mother while the other smiled. "And who are you two?" She asked

"Hi, I'm Reina and this is my brother Bobby." She introduced.

"Bobby huh, I haven't heard that name in a long time." She said. "Well come in and make yourself at home." The family then came in and sat down in the living room.

"So Ronnie Anne, how have you been?" Rita asked

"Busy, with taking care of these two, and making sure that these two stays out of trouble." She said pointing at her kids.

"Hey, I stay out of trouble." Bobby Jr. Inisted. making the adults chuckle.

"So Lincoln you must have your hands full with these two." She asked.

"Oh, you have no idea. this one started taking up skateboarding and this one well, who knows what he does." Lincoln joked.

"I see and what do you Lincoln?" She asked

"Oh well, I'm a comic line artist, I draw the outline for comics." He said.

"Oh that's interesting, you always loved your comic, I bet they keep you busy." She said

"Not really, I mean not a lot of people read comics these days in age." He said with a nervous chuckle.

"Oh." She said,

"Yeah, but it's okay I'm doing what I love and it pays most of the bills." He said with a nervous chuckle.

"Well as long as you do what you love, that's all that matters." She said,

"Don't worry, I make enough to support our kids." Ronnie Anne joked as the evening went on, BJ and Reina were in the living room talking to their grandma about their interest while Lincon and Ronnie Anne were sitting not too far.

"I think this is going well." Ronnie Anne whispered.

"Yeah, I think that this might work out," Lincoln said, just then the front door opened, and in came Lynn Sr.

"Jeez today was just brutal, Rita I really could need something to re…" Just then he looked around and saw that she wasn't alone.

"Lynn!"

"Dad… I…" Lincoln stammered, but Lynn just walked up to his ex-son and grabbed his shirt.

"What the hell are you doing in my house!" He said

"D-Dad, I just…"

"Get out! Now!" He ordered.

"Lynn! Calm down you're scaring your grandkids, Bobby and Reina." Rita insisted as he pulled him away from Lincoln and was directed to two confused and worried kids.

"K-Kids, this is your grandfather." Lincoln introduced.

"H-Hello." Bobby Jr. said Lynn Sr. just grumbled and walked away.

"Lynn, wait." Rita insisted he then went to the bedroom and slammed the door, the room fell silent, till she sighed, Lincoln walked up to her and was about to apologize, but he stopped, he turned to his family.

"Ronnie, can you take the kids to the car we're leaving." He said Ronnie Anne did what she was told and escorted the kids out of the house. He turned to his mom. "I'm sorry, I guess the others were right, this was a mistake." He said. Rita then turned to him.

"No no, it wasn't, the kids were really sweet, I just didn't think things would last this long." She admitted

"Well I better get going, it was good seeing you again mom, please don't be mad at Dad, I don't want to mess things up for you too." He said as he left the house. Rita sighed as she walked over to the door and watched her son leave again.

-Later that night-

Rita was getting ready for bed when she saw Lynn getting dressed.

"Hun where are you going?" She asked

"I'm going to a hotel, I don't want to spend the night in a place that he was in." He said

"Lynn, you're overreacting, please don't leave me alone." She begged.

"I'm sorry, I just…" Lynn got up and left, leaving his wife.

-Elsewhere-

Lincoln was in his studies trying to work when he heard the door open and Lucy came in.

"Lincoln, are you okay?" She asked, coming close to him.

"Lucy, do you and the girls regret doing this?" He asked

"What do you mean?" She asked as she sat on the arm of his chair

"This, you girls with me, our kids, I feel that I ruined your lives." He said with a sigh.

"Lincoln, we all chose to come with you, after all, we wanted this." She grabbed his cheek and turned him to face her. "We do miss dad, but we love you just as much and we don't regret anything." She said Lincoln grabbed her hand and smiled.

"Thank you luce." Lincoln said

"Come on, dinner's ready." She said grabbing his arm and taking him to the dining room.
