I love what ifs in stories. They leave more scope for the imagination. As you could probably tell I am strictly Anne of Green Gables Fanfics. So you won't find anything else unless it is a cross over with Anne of Green Gables. I have been reading some of other people's stories and I have definitely liked what I've seen.

Turning Life Right Side Up: The continuation of Mary Tyler- Moore's fanfic by the same title. This is basically Modern Anne of Green Gables with a few parts( ie Anne coming as a dead sister's boy where it turns out she is not a boy but a girl.) This was a long dead story that I thought should have a proper ending.

Waves: Six stages of how Anne deals with the news that Diana Barry is engaged to Fred Wright.

An Avonlea Snowstorm: Anne and Gilbert get stuck in a shed after a school bake sale one night and what happens after.

Mischief and Moonlight: Where this story goes depends on you. Use the comment section to write the next part of the story.

Alternate Anne and Gilbert: Various moments between Anne and Gil. Some fit in the book, some in the movie, and others are just pure fancy.

To Live with thy Loathed Enemy: Anne must stay at the Blythe's while Marilla nurses a relative in the States.

Missing: Anne's disappearance is investigated.

Kindred Spirits: Collection of oneshots centered around Anne and the other inhabitants of Avonlea, Glen St. Mary, Kingsport, Redmond, Queen's, White Sands, Carmony, and Summerside. May be Book-verse, Movie Based, or whimsy creations.

Dead Gone: Gilbert Blythe is dead gone on Anne Shirley.

Never Let Go: Anne gets Typhoid instead of Gilbert. (Yes, that overused idea again :D)
