Teloch asked: Zucest family fluff please.
Zuko is 100% the paranoid dad that is over protective of their kid before it is even born, and Azula can't even feel just a little sick without him immediately thinking she and/or the baby is at risk. However, on the rare occasions in which Azula is the one that is nervous, he can ignore his own anxiety to help her through hers. He takes care of her when she has morning sickness, spoils and pampers her all through her pregnancies, and gives her support during labor.
They both absolutely adore their kids (I feel like they'd have at least three) and if you dare mock them in any way, prepare for a very slow, very painful death. Zuko's heart is filled with joy as Azula sings a lullaby to their babies every night, and Azula just can't help but smile when she sees Zuko playing with their kids. Whenever one of the kids is sick, both Fire Siblings lose their shit. They both instantly like anyone who is good to their babies.
They both want their kids to have the best of the best - clothes, food, gifts, schools - and they also put in a lot of effort to show them that they are loved and that they don't need to do anything to "earn" their love. Their bedroom door is pretty much always locked so they can have some privacy, but the kids can ask to sleep in their room for whatever reason, be it because a nightmare or just because they want to be with their parents. They would teach firebending to their kids themselves (and sword fighting in Zuko's case).
While they are understanding and love to spoil them, Zuko and Azula know when to discipline their kids - though they absolutely do constantly ask each other if they were too harsh, especially Azula. Whenever their kids find out about some bad thing she did in the past, especially the things she did against Zuko, Azula feels deeply ashamed, so Zuko usually helps the kids do something to show her that they all love her and that they don't believe she's a bad person at all.
They have sort of a "friendly competition" over who their kids like more, and they're constantly bringing up embarrassing stories from each other's past because neither of them plays fair. Despite that, they are ridiculously loving to each other, and that sets a VERY high standard for their kids of what romantic relationships should be like.
