Anon asked: I imagine Zuko and Azula playing Minecraft together.

God, the idea of these two playing any game together just puts a big, dumb smile in my face.

It goes without saying that absolutely anything turns into a competition for them. Even if it's something like creating some castle on Minecraft, they'll want to make something bigger, better, more practical, more fantastical and harder to make than what the other did, and in a significantly shorter amount of time. They'll drag innocent people who have nothing to do with this shit into their weird competition and make them act as judges.

In actual competitive games, they'd both cheat, and when Zuko gets too pissed off, he just starts wrecking shit - and he is the one who has to clean up the mess, because Azula will NOT do it, and even in his state of petty fury, he can still recognize that this is fair. Any game that involves ruling/being responsible for anything is automatically taken WAY to seriously, to the point that everyone around them is worried.

I can picture Zuko just always insisting on playing any game that requires bluffing, like poker, and being fucking furious that no only is never able to tell when Azula is lying, but that she can call any of his bluffs without even thinking. When he FINALLY manages to win against her, he is unbelievably euphoric and will hold onto that victory until the end of time.

While playing any game that has any horror elements, no matter how terrified they are, they both try to act like they're not scared because no fucking way they'll let the other get that satisfaction.

Despite all that, when they're cooperating, they're a scary duo to be up against. They can and will destroy you, and burn your whole kingdom, your dignity and your dreams to the ground. They don't even realize it, but depending on how much experience they have with the game, they'll either be absolutely equal partners, or one of them will just take a supporting/learning role and let the other guide them. Zuko will NOT appreciate it if someone brings this up to his attention because he refuses to admit that he believes Azula is just naturally better than him at making the right calls.
