Opening my eyes, I take a second to lie on the cold hard floor as I blink away the grogginess from my little nap. Sitting up, I yawn and stretch as I look around. I was in an unfamiliar area, already a bad sign, reminding me of my older sister's quince when I was younger. It was a small room with chairs and other such things, like a resting place.

The room itself is white, the chairs and other stuff add some color to it. Like that bowl of fruits.

That last detail causes my eyes to widen as I get up and walk towards the table with the bowl on it. Cautiously reaching over, I dig a nail into the apple and my nail digs in and juice falls out of it.

Good, I was getting hungry anyway. Reaching over, I grab an apple as I sit down on the floor, taking a bite out of it, I enter a pondering state as I try to sort out everything I've learnt while in this world.

I can't really understand it if I'm honest. What is the reason for this? Why all of this for me?

Another bite and another glare at the roof, "What's the reason for all of this?"

Devils can take over the bodies of their contractors, that's a fact I learnt from Tommy, but why?

Opening a hand, a translucent green casino chip appears on it. It's the essence that Tommy and Asmodeus gave me, the Gambler Style.

I flipped the coin up and caught it with one hand while I continued eating with the other one. This continued on until I growled, "I'm getting nowhere with this train of thought!"

Finishing the apple, I throw it into a garbage can as it misses.

Clicking my tongue, I get up and throw it away normally before returning and grabbing another apple. Biting into it, it crunches as I look through Tommy's memories.

To the people of this world, Tommy Grigori was an infamous figure, known as a trickster whose unpredictable tendencies varied. To many he was similar to Robin Hood, stealing from churches and the rich for the poor, to others he was a thief and a Devil.

They weren't wrong, but few care since he has been demonized in history as a murderer. But little know what happened after he 'died'. He gave his body to Asmodeus.

Little know this, but even if the Grigori family is selfish and frequently play with demonic forces, they also love humanity and those demonic forces they play with.

And for their love, humanity hated them. Unable to be truly human they were shunned, but they smiled and lived for themselves.

And as someone who lived in a different world, that love for humanity hasn't extinguished.

Mostly.

I catch the chip once more as I tighten my grip on it. Even if I'm shunned, I'll live my life with a smile. It's how I've been since I came here, it's how I'll be when I die.

Taking the last bite out of the apple, I ponder on a certain thought.

Loyalty.

To the Grigori, personal oaths and promises went over the belief of a group. To the world a knight may be a traitor but to the Grigori they're exemplary if the reason was right.

Loyalty was something I haven't experienced, whether it be going through an oath or someone doing the same to me. But my parents always tell me that I don't have to protect humanity, I just have to protect those I care for. And humans are naturally social creatures, so they'll be sad if only they are around.

I smirk at the thought of my mother and father, "Am I doing ya proud?"

No one answers as I sigh before throwing away the apple.

I walk to the door at the end and cover my eyes, grimacing at the lights pointed at me. Gritting my teeth I become adjusted to it as I notice something.

I'm on a screen. The words 'Dance Battle of Death' appear on the screen as my face contorts into one of confusion.

"Hello, I am Bune." A woman in a beautiful blue dress and blonde hair with brown eyes, she seemed delicate but everything else told me otherwise.

"Furfur." The man murmured, a variety of ranged weapons on his back and sides.

I step back as I reach for Rogue Dragon, slimmer and fixed so it doesn't sound like a maraca at every movement only for Bune to extend a hand, "Please, no need for such uncouth methods."

"I wouldn't mi-agh!" Furfur's human body was elbowed in the side by Bune with enough strength to send him coughing to the floor.

Coughing into her hand, she extends a hand to me, "Now, young man, might I have this dance?"

At this point, my mouth moved before I could really control it, "Excuse me, what the fuck?"

Now, I'm sitting in a booth, waiting to be challenged to a literal dance to the death.

Honestly, how do you explain this?

Turns out, Furfur would be next to challenge me to do something else but that isn't as important.

Leaning into my fist, I try to think what this is about, I mean, a dance battle?

Nothing has made sense for a while. And honestly, I enjoy it this way.

Grinning, I lean back as my shoulders relax, waiting for the time to come.

The door opens as an icy woman comes in, she has pale skin with passionate red eyes and silver hair, wearing a black dress that compliments her skin well, "I am Vivian, it is time for your death."

I grip Shinsei and wait for her to attack, but when she moves to the side I realize that she's talking about the dance battle.

Sighing, I refuse to relax as I release my grip from Shinsei as I follow the Devil.

The ballroom has cleared up, nerves acting up as the realization that this is being recorded comes to mind.

"Relax, a dance is full of passion, an art form given physical form. Yet, a dance-."

"Cannot be done alone, Mr. Grigori." Bune finishes the ghostly form's words as I'm brought back to the present.

The rules are simple: I have to lead the dance. If she manages to do so for a longer time than I can, she wins.

It was unsaid, but if I win, I'll fight her.

Grabbing her hand, I bow, "Then let's get this over with."

We get in position as the music plays. I started leading at first, somewhat used to the movements due to my excitable family. But as time passed, I found myself losing the lead.

"Don't worry, just trust me on this." The voice returned as a pink energy entered my arms and the knowledge with it.

Grinning again, the Dancer style opens up to me as I regain the lead. Twirling with newfound grace and speed as Bune's eyes widen in surprise.

The dance ends as I tip her, breathing with little exertion as I grin.

The anger in her eyes was visible as the familiar feeling of Demonic Energy extending appears.

Letting her go, I dash to the side with newfound speed as I evade a claw, must have been from Vivian, as the other occupants from the balls change into different forms.

Hell Cainas, Empusas, and Hell Antenoras. Tortured Hell Cainas with cleavers.

The cleaver-wielding hunchbacks are susceptible to pain. Vivian, Bune, and Furfur are gone as I crack my knuckles and grin.

Stepping forward, I jump in the air and spin, "With style," landing I extend a hand and continue the spin, "and grace," I point forward before finishing with, "I will punch you in the face!"

Spinning, I strike a pose, "Dancer!"

Switching from the Gambler style to the Dancer style is an experience. My body feels limber as I dash forward, Rogue Dragon parrying a Hell Antenoras' cleaver and ducking under a Hell Caina's scythe.

Crouching, I slash at the Hell Antenora before kicking away the Hell Caina. The Hell Antenora roars as he attempts to slash at me, but I disappear and reappear behind him as I slash at his back and evade a back swipe from a cleaver.

I rev up Rogue Dragon as it's enveloped in flames, heating up the blade as I slash at a Hell Caina and kick off another one as I'm upside-down, spinning in a complete circle and catching a large amount of Hell Cainas off-guard.

Landing on my feet, I dash away from the cleaver of the Hell Antoneras before leaping in a thrust, the Hell Antoneras noticed and moved to block only for the tip of the blade to dig into the floor as I flipped into a spinning roundhouse as the Hell Antoneras roared and went berserk.

Cleaver hit the ground as he missed and I danced around the sporadic strikes, "Gambler!" I exclaimed as I blocked an attack, "Payout," I exclaimed, releasing the absorbed force from the attack back to the Hell Caina as it's sent back.

Switching to Scorpio, I jump high and extend the chains as they touch the ground, "Dancer!" Spinning in mid-air, the blades on the chain cut off a section of the ballroom as lightning falls where its scratched, cutting off a certain section of the Lesser Demons as I grab Shepherd and rain down buckshot after buckshot on the bundled groups of demons, the strong recoil of the pump shotgun that was a consequence of the modifications Anna fitted it up with keeping me in the air.

Landing, a spectral arm catches a cleaver from a Hell Antoneras as I duck under it and unsheathe Yawarakai-te from my back while kicking the Hell Antoneras knee, forcing him to kneel as I turn and lop its head off with a clean slice.

Sheathing Yawarakai-te back into the spectral form of Argosax and placing the Muramasa on my back, the Devil sword unwilling to return back into my arm, I grab Rogue Dragon and rev it up once more, heating up the blade as more demons appear, "Dancer!"

Lunging again, I aim at the floor as I spin around holding the pole, kicking a Hell Caina away and using the inside of the blade to swat away another Hell Caina then using the sharp side to cleave another Hell Caina in half, continuing the slash, I cartwheel, replacing my hands with the naginata, and use my flexibility to do a standing split before willing a spectral stake to stab into the Hell Caina's feet and bringing my foot down on its head as the floor cracks and the Hell Caina explodes into dust.

Clearing out the section, I place Rogue Dragon on my back as I try to look for a way out.

This whole area looks like a ballroom. While I'm no genius, I think that the term is the 'Seven Levels of Hell'? Or was it circles?

Well, a kingdom represents the pride of a king, so what would a ballroom represent? Let's just hope this one is simple.

Looking at the door, I start walking, giving me the opportunity to regain some of my losing stamina and try to find a way out.

Arms aching make my eyes widen as I unholster Shinsei and unload a bullet into a spider. Not giving it a chance to get up, Noroi was unholstered and shot bullets of Demonic Energy at the spider until nothing was left.

As the spider disappeared, I holstered both pistols as I rested my chin on my hand. Just because there are multiple levels doesn't mean that it's seven.

A ballroom is like a way to show off right? It's supposed to incite envy and admiration from the visitors since such a structure would probably be expensive but at the same time, it could also mean gluttony since for parties in the ballroom would mean a lot of food.

But I could be wrong.

I've never been the smartest, but I'd like to think I'm reliable in a fight.

Shaking my head, I walk forward as I constantly keep my hands near my weapons in case I need them at a moment's notice. Speeding up, I start jogging, what to many normal people would be a sprint, before finally, I start running for real, the wind splitting as I run down the winding hall.

Taking measured breaths, I continue dashing as I take a careful look around, noticing bullet holes on the floor.

"Wait…" I trail off, noticing the bullet holes having the same size of a .45 ACP bullet. The same ones that would be used for Shinsei and Noroi.

Looking around, I click my tongue, "What the hell?"

Then I heard it. Humming. Someone's humming a tune. I don't know what it is, but they want me to stay here. Not like they can.

I've thought long and hard, debated with Ana, and nearly came to blows, but I finally came up with a name for the new form I have. A clarity blessed by the soul of a human and the strength of a Devil.

Esperanza Diabolica: Armonia. Diabolic Hope: Harmony.

Now, how do I turn all of that power into one?

One powerful slash that can cut apart dimensions and maybe even fate?

I couldn't help but snort at how stupid it sounds. But if we were smart, we'd go the safe way and never learn anything.

So, with a deep breath, I calm myself. Not everything has to have a name but it does have to be under something. So, with a flourish, I unsheathe Muramasa and Yawarakai-te, the curse and clarity warring as I reach a state of balance. Of Harmony.

Stepping forward, I grit my teeth as I place it all on one slash, to rip reality and this illusion that was placed on me. With finnesses, a line was drawn. And with power, that line was opened before it spread on, breaking the spell the room was under as I felt it fall. But…

I don't know where they are exactly. The innumerable amount of doors that went up and down the hall were gone, leaving me with two but that humming still persists. It may be Vivian.

Clicking my tongue, I kick open the first door and it explodes as my eyes widen before I'm covered in a sea of flames, "A la chingada mad-."(Son of a bi-.)

A mental call was all it needed for the spectral image of Argosax to appear behind me and slash with the Yawarakai-te. Cutting the flames before they can reach any part of me.

Leg still extended, I blink as the spectral image disappears and I try to come to terms with what just happened. I nearly became barbecued meat. Cooked Gael. Without lemon, lime or salt. Crispy and whatever term there is to describe whatever is less than well-done when it comes to steak.

Honestly, I'm more offended that I didn't have lemon or salt dropped on me beforehand.

"Oi! If you're gonna cook a guy, do it right! Use salt and lemon or something! The last thing I want to be is tasteless and burnt!" I exclaimed as I flipped off the roof.

There was no response as I huffed and lowered my hand as I walked towards the other door.

Grabbing Shepherd, I grab ahold of the pump and rack a shell of Demonic Energy and aim before pulling the trigger as the buckshot tore through the door before repeating the action multiple times, absolutely destroying the door.

After at least the fifteenth shot, the only thing left of the door was a small chunk of it hanging off the hinges. Fifteen turns into seventeen as even those are destroyed and nothing off the previous door was left.

There's only silence as I holster Shepherd and grab Rogue Dragon, "Not taking any more chances to be cooked wrong."

The ones watching could only slump or chuckle at the person's skewed priorities.

Dancer style in place, swift movements are made as I drag Rogue Dragon behind me. Then something assails my arms as something is flying towards me.

Its arm lands on the floor as a serpent-like creature with large fists and tentacles all around it, "Ha, stupid Devil Hunter." The Devil says.

"Phew, I nearly turned this story into an M-rated one… Wait…" I think out loud as I stand on Rogue Dragon, stabbed into a wall. Doing the Russian crouch, I couldn't help but grimace at the appearance of the Devil. "Ugly thing you are, eh?"

"How dare you, my name is Abraxas, I-!"

"'Will die tonight' is what you want to say? Oh well, this is a dance both of us are used to. All that's left is to go through with it." I interrupt as I stand up. Grabbing the handle of Rogue Dragon, I raise both legs and dropkick the wall I have Rogue Dragon stabbed in.

There's a second in between when I kick the wall and the wall breaks as I fly toward Abraxas and dig my knee deep into its chest as I aim Shinsei and Noroi.

A barrage of gunshots rings out in the colosseum I'm in as the tentacles cover Abraxas. Clicking my tongue, I jump back as I fire off another barrage of Demonic Energy.

The tentacles are problematic. Looking at the Devil, I grab Rogue Dragon in a reverse grip and I fill it with Demonic Energy as I slash but spin it so I'm holding it normally once more and slash as the arc of Demonic Energy sails forward, cutting the tentacles and Abraxas as I dash forward, blurring to a speed that would be impossible for normal humans and jump up to evade a swing of Abraxas' arm.

Rogue Dragon slashes forward on its chest, blood spouting before spinning as I slash once more. A tentacle grabs my leg and forces me to the floor as I blur to the side to evade the punch.

"Come on!" I exclaim as I stab Rogue Dragon onto the floor and lean on it, making a show of yawning as the naginata lowers slowly from my weight, "You're so slow I'm falling asleep here!"

Abraxas roars and proceeds to sweep its large fist as I kick up from my place on Rogue Dragon when it was about to fall and grab it before spinning.

Blade meets fist as a loud clang resounds in the arena as the Devil's fist is parried before he brings his other fist around as I stab Rogue Dragon and flip, hands being replaced by Rogue Dragon as I whirl the naginata around and parry the fist downward.

Once more, Abraxas raises his arms, merging together as it becomes larger and larger like a hammer. It growls as he brings it down as I rev up the exceed system and prepare to thrust.

Abraxas brings down his hands, looking to crush me but I thrust, the force behind the exceed system would have caused the naginata to fly out of the hands of anyone else but thankfully I'm not normal.

Once more, blade meets hands as once again, Abraxas is sent back from the force, opening him up as a spectral fist meets Abraxas' stomach as the spectral torso of Argosax unsheathes Yawarakai-te and slashes upwards as I stab into the injury and rev up Rogue Dragon as the flames break the core within the serpentine body of Abraxas as the tentacles shrivel up and die.

Jumping off, I aim Shinsei and Noroi and unload a barrage of bullets as Abraxas tries to block it unsuccessfully.

Roaring, Abraxas lunges as I throw both ends of Scorpio at his shoulders and jump over it, pulling as his torso is pulled back and lighting travels up it Abraxas yells from the shock and is silenced as Rogue Dragon is stabbed into its head.

Silence hung in the arena as a light appeared. Extending my hand, the light is then absorbed into my arms as I flinch. Suddenly, something began crawling up my legs as I looked down.

Replacing my legs were greaves, armored and an abnormal green color while my arms had gauntlets.

Twisting my wrist, I couldn't help but grin, "These are nice~."

"Siegfried, that's-." A short woman with pure white hair peeking from under a nun's habit pointed in shock while another woman with similar looks stared with wide eyes.

"I know," the gruff man huffed, "I'd recognize that process anywhere."

Very few know of Devil Arms and even less know how they are made. There was only one family that did.

"The Devil has returned." The other woman mumbled.

Jumping up, I dive kick at an Empusa and flip back before sending a side kick to another, a mark resembling an 'A' appearing where it hit before snapping my fingers as the Empusa was sent back flying.

Raising an arm, I mutter, "Gambler." The second hit was blocked and the force was built up before kicking its side and into a spinning hook kick before following with an upward kick and stomping on the Empusas head.

I flinched as a ringing appeared in my ears. That damn singing. It's fucking with me.

Taking a calming breath, I fall back to evade a Hell Antenora's cleaver. Before positioning myself so I spin and proceed to breakdance as the marks continue accumulating on the Lesser Demons before I kick up and snap my fingers. The Lesser Demons were sent back flying as I kicked up.

Getting into a lose boxing stance, I step back from an attack and spin into a back fist as I follow with a kick and perform a frontflip and extend my leg in an axe kick as its head splatters onto the floor to my vocal disgust and shock, "What the fuck?"

I couldn't do much else as Vivian appeared, pale skin in all her glory as she glowers, "You-!"

"I'm busy, woman. I wanna go home and eat food. So, sadly, this little banter will have to end. Not like your lines were any better than a pornstar's, and all they have to do is moan." I snipe at her to her anger before my eyes widen.

Unhinging her jaw, she sings a note I don't recognize but the area begins to break, cracks appearing in this little dimension as pieces start breaking off, showing a cave as cracks run up the entrance.

Then, a mandible appears through the entrance, piercing Vivian and, if I'm correct, consuming her. Adding her power to whatever Devil waits on the other side.

"Uh-oh, seems like Vivian broke some rules~, too bad. Her punishment has already been dealt. The Ballroom of Pride and Gluttony seems to have ended a little too soon. How sad, don't worry folks. I'm sure Bune and Furfur could provide us with ample entertainment~." The voice commented as the people could only look in horror at what happened.

My instincts flare as I backflip, evading gunshots before having to roll to the side. Suddenly, I feel something stab my side as Bune glares at me, face in a lipless smile and three sets of demonic wings around her body and a blindfold on her eyes. My eyes widen at the lack of energy I begin to have.

I perform a Payout, the accumulated force surrounding me and pushing Bune back as I'm forced to step back.

There's a silent ring as I perform a Block, blocking a bullet that was coming to me from the… side?

But Furfur is right in front of me, eyes lining his arms and anywhere else that is visible.

I couldn't think of it as I muttered, "Can't a guy catch a break?"

Unholstering Noroi and Shinsei, I aim at Furfur and fire off a barrage of bullets only to have those bullets intercepted by Furfur's own bullets.

Too late for me to notice, multiple clicks were heard around me as I was trapped in a cage of bullets, "Your gunplay is too dull," was all I heard Furfur say as I raised my gauntleted arms to cover my face.

You know, I just noticed that Abraxas isn't a Devil Arm, but a part of me. Similar to how Scorpio's tail is.

That was my last thought before my world exploded in pain as I fell to my knees. My healing, granted to me by having Demonic Energy, working overtime to keep me alive.

Kicking up, I unsheathe the Yawarakai-te and Muramasa as the markings run up my body as Esperanza Diabolica: Armonia started up.

Jumping up, I snap my fingers as spectral swords instead of stakes flew towards Furfur who jumped away as I used the Yawarakai-te to slash at Bune and follow with Muramasa as the cursed blade dug deep.

Only for Bune to disappear as I was held from behind, all three sets of wings covering me as I was forced out of that state as I grit my teeth.

I need a grip on what I'm absorbing to do it, and sadly, I don't have that grip.

Jerking my head back, I got Bune in the nose as I was let go, breathing deeply. As I cover my mouth.

"Damn it." I mutter, trying to find a way out of this. Diabolic Hope can be countered by Bune's own ability, Furfur's gunplay is too unpredictable, what can I do?

"Haaah~, who would have thought my descendant was an idiot, and an uptight one too." I turn to the man, twirling a pair of guns in each hand. Weirdly enough, his clothing seems to be Eastern by nature. "Relax, simply enjoy it, you can't paint a picture, knowing every detail there is to know beforehand. So, use those brushes," he nods towards Shinsei and Noroi, "To paint a canvas worthy of the name Grigori."

Blue. That is what entered me as the knowledge came along with it. I grinned as I unholstered both pistols and spun them, saying the word, "Trickshot!"

Two shots fired and one returned, sailing next to my head as Bune's hand was shot. Turning to Furfur, I ran forward, unloading bullet after bullet with a few exceptions.

A clink was heard as, in between the hail of bullets, one ricocheted off of one of Furfur's and into his shoulder, allowing me to throw both Shinsei and Noroi and run forward while grabbing Shepherd and placing it on the ground and using my foot to pull the pump up and then down in one smooth motion. Pulling the trigger, the recoil sent me up as I spun and ejected the empty cartridge with a pull and push of the pump before aiming at Furfur. With a pull of the trigger, a buckshot was sent forward and Furfur evaded, only to have Scorpio envelop his torso and send a stream of electricity as I pulled and threw him to Bune as they both wheezed and fell as I pulled once more.

Digging my feet into their faces, I kick back and backflip as I fire behind me once more when I land, shrapnel from the buckshot hitting both pistols as they were sent flying on the other side of the Devils.

Suddenly, a Doppelganger appeared, a double created by Demonic Energy resembling Argosax as it caught the weapons and aimed as I did the same before pulling the trigger, causing a literal hail of bullets as some ricocheted towards the Devils before the Doppelganger disappeared, exhaustion permeating my being but I kept straight as I grabbed Rogue Dragon from my back and thrusted forward and into Furfur's chest as his eyes widen and I grab his head.

The process of absorption starts once more as the memories of Gin Grigori come to my head. A japanese painter turned ronin after killing a samurai for abusing his power. From there, he used his skills in painting to wield a sword and a pair of guns made to kill Honkai.

He was a good man, stubborn and hated to kill but had to to defend those he loved.

Still, dude stole wives. With fucking ease too.

There were no words shared as Furfur only nodded, letting himself be absorbed into me.

As the process finished, Bune attacked me, only to have her head severed with Rogue Dragon.

Repeating the process, Victoria Grigori was next. A noble who loved to dance and knew the struggles of war. Graceful and nimble, her beauty inspired soldiers.

She was pretty flirtatious too, almost instinctively as well.

Soon, the only thing left was two orbs as the two merged together, turning into something stronger and better. Once the process was over, in its place was a tablet with a black screen. When it landed on my hand, the screen turned on and read, "Morgan."

When that was over, the tablet showed options, one said 'Support', another was 'Attack', the third was 'Defend' and the final one was 'Miscellaneous' with a circle in the middle titled 'Fairy Orchestra'.

Tapping the tile saying support, a note plays, surprising me. Looking around, I notice no one around to play that sound. Going back, I press 'Attack' and a more aggressive tone is played.

What's more is that each option releases a light when I do. I hum as I grin.

Then, I pressed 'Defense' and followed with 'Attack' then 'Lightning'.

A shield covers me as lightning falls from the sky.

My grin increases as I press 'Fairy Orchestra'. The tablet disappears and in its place is a spectral set of piano keys all around me. With a grin, I started playing the notes to Memories by David Guetta.

As I continued playing, the surroundings changed as electricity rolled in the sky. Summoning a spectral Argosax, it played along with him hitting the right notes.

The concert continued until the final note summoned what could only be the apocalypse given form in a certain area.

Spikes sprung up from the earth, the wind became baldes, the water toiled, and lightning fell in swathes as I took deep breaths.

"Oh, I'm so going to use you." The Devil Arm, Morgan, returns to its tablet form as I stow it away and turn to the next area.

And pause at the thumping that I hear from it. The walls were stone but they also had a kind of pink lining similar to internal organs. It causes shivers to go up my spine but doesn't deter me from wanting to go forward, but…

Staring at my weapons, I sigh. Probably best to get these fixed up first before anything else.

Spotting Ana's Workshop, I walk towards it and open it, "Ei cuz."

"Yeah?" I spot Ana, working on something that I have no idea what it does.

"Can you give the weapons a tune-up? Like, everything else that you didn't upgrade, feels a little weird in my opinion." I explain as I place Shinsei, Noroi, and Shepherd on her work table.

"Hmm, alright, that'll be easy." She says, turning to me with excited green eyes as she leans over the table. Already muttering on what she needs to do and what she can do.

I decide to sit on a chair and bring out Morgan, fiddling with the Miscellaneous section of the tablet.

Finding a section called 'Music' I tap it as earbuds appear in my ears and music starts to play.

Then my eyes closed.

In my dreams, I spotted the same man I saw right now, he grinned as he patted my shoulders, "Good good, that was well done. Guess it's my turn to give you what you need."

He held a hand to my head as I passed out in my dreams, memories of Shin Grigori coming to mind.

Opening my eyes, I notice that Ana is also sleeping. Sitting up, I spot my guns, cleaned and ready for combat. I walk over and grab them, inspecting them as I grin slightly.

Soon, I was ready to go for my hunt.

I tussle my cousin's head as a thanks before walking away.

Now, I stand in front of a nightmare given form in reality. It was a crack with an opening and what looked like a cave. With eyes looking at me with bloodlust and a soothing melody being heard from the other side.

In the end, I grit my teeth, "Let's do this."

I run forward as I jump into the crack as I enter what looks like a cave.

"What the fuck?" I mutter as I begin moving forward, hand on Rogue Dragon as I kept my eyes open.

Then, they came.

Eight. That's how many limbs they have. How many eyes too. But why are these bigger than the average spider and with way too many eyes?!

A shiver continued running down my spine as I came face to face with my biggest fear.

Spiders.

A/N: So, Chapter 3. Not my best work but I think it's good.

And no, I haven't thought of a love interest but recommendations and reasons for said recommendations are always welcome.

Anyway, as you can see, Gael has a few new weapons in the form of Morgan and Abraxas and the styles. Here's a bit of a description and their parallel:

-Gambler Style(Royal Guard): Opening up and leaving himself defenseless, Gael can predict most attacks and parry them(with luck), filling out a gauge for a 'Payout', the release of said gathered energy.

-Dancer Style(Trickster Style): "With speed and grace, I will punch you in the face." Unpredictable and quick is the name of the game with high-speed dashes or long twirls that'd even have professional ballerinas dizzy, evasion becomes long strides and closing in on an enemy is child's play. And what good is a dance without a partner?

-Trickshot Style(Gunslinger Style): What good is a gun if you aren't at least a few meters away riddling your enemy with holes with style? With almost impossible tricks, Trickshot uses these tricks ro throw off the opponent while also using unpredictable moves. With practice, one may be able to predict their opponents movements.

-?(Swordsman Style)- ?

That's all, next chapter, Gael has to fight his fears of spiders as he travels through the tunnels to defeat the second to last boss. I hope you enjoyed reading this.
