Hong Kong, the Year 2013, in Broken Nose Jiang's office...

It all started last year with Wei Shen, a man who once lived in Hong Kong moved away to San Fransisco to help his sister, Mimi Shen to get her life straight, but it didn't help, resulting in her dying to the lethal heroine, his mother committed suicide soon after that, it was hard for Wei and he blamed the triads for ruining his family that way. He mostly blamed the Sun On yee triad for this.

He spends the next 10 years, something, something working his way up to the top in the police force, but the need for vengeance is still there, he even murdered the guy who gave his sister lethal heroin at that time, he somehow, was not found guilty, he returned to Hong Kong after Pendrew heard so much about him and wanted to help him bring justice against the triads. And the rest is history.

And a lot has happened ever since last year, with all of the Red Poles dead in the Sun On Yee, the triad itself was increasingly becoming weaker and their enemies, the 18K triad is growing stronger every day. Despite Aunt Jiang's control over the triad, it's not enough to secure their alignment in Hong Kong as the Sun On Yee is increasingly losing its territories. Thus, her desperately seeking help.

She knew exactly who can possibly help, and she knew that he'll most likely not returned to the life of crime, but she has found a way to convinced him.

Inside her office, she was doing a lot of research on her computer while the Sun On Yee's adviser, Pockmark Cheuk was pacing back and forth, waited patiently for her answer. After 5 minutes, he decided to ask her.

"Aunt Jiang," he spoke. "I know you want him to help us once more, but I was wondering, how can he possibly help us? He is from a police background."

"And he is loyal to me, remember?" Aunt Jiang reminded him, not taking her eyes off the screen, not even a single glance. The death of Big Smile Lee brought her joy and victory last past year. "That's what matters. And I know what he's capable of, and I need his help again. We all do."

Pockmark walks up behind her and sees what she's been searching for. "What exactly are you looking for to convince him to come back to us?"

"Something that he never thought about," Aunt Jiang replied, still searching. "I'm going to have to spend all night looking deeper into his background if I have to..."

Pockmark sigh, whatever it is, he knew he had to trust the Sun On Yee's new master, no matter what decision she makes, he has to respect and support them in any way he can. He just has to be patient and see what's up.

After a while, she finally found it! Pockmark can clearly see the information on the computer screen, and needlessly to say, he was shocked as well. But definitely, enough to convinced Wei to come back for them.

"I am fairly confident that Wei didn't realize this," Aunt Jiang said with a smile of satisfaction.

"It appears so," Pockmark agreed. "This is like quite a plot twist, Aunt Jiang."

"Quite a plot twist indeed," Aunt Jiang commented, then turned to the adviser. "Go and give him a call to come here. I want to have a very important discussion with him."

Pockmark nodded, "Yes, Aunt Jiang," he replied, leaving the room immediately.

In one of the alleys in North Point, Wei Shen just murdered another innocent bystander he sees coming into the alley. He's been a dangerous wreck ever since last year.

His actions during his undercover assignment were nothing but reckless and destructive, despite bringing Pendrew to justice, the Hong Kong police department is not very happy with him, and the way he slaughtered Big Smile Lee's men and murdered Lee himself crossed the line.

He was original to be sentenced to death but his friend, Inspector Teng pulled some strings to let him live but cost him his job in the police force, thus he has nothing left for him in his hometown. Since then, he's becoming depressed, with no friends and no family. If he's being honest with them, he's already missing the people in the Sun On Yee, Ricky, Conroy, Duke, Calvin, Old Salty Crab, Pockmark, and Aunt Jiang. And he doubted that they wanted to see him again.

And for his dead friends, Winston, Jackie, Vincent, and Uncle Po, despite that they're criminals, he knew they didn't deserve what had happened to them. And because of their deaths had reminded him of what he had lost... He lost what he desperately sought, family. And these guys? Including the ones who had died, they're like family to him deep down. Sure, the cops won't agree that but that was the truth, he was just doing what he was told.

He mentally hit himself for thinking that way, remembering that the Sun On Yee were the same guys that led to his family's demise years ago. But... it seems like it didn't matter anymore...

Just then, his phone ring, confused, Wei picked it and answer. His old police phone was taken away from him and all he had now was a dark red iPhone, and he was surprised by the familiar phone that was calling him.

"It's been a while, Wei Shen" the voice of Jiang spoke.

"Jiang?" Wei said surprised, he didn't expect her to call him after what happened last year.

"Listen," Jiang said softly. "I know, I know it's been hard for you since last year. My sources told me of how you were kicked out of the police force because of your actions."

"Including other things I'm no proud of," Wei added.

"Yes, but that's not what I want to talk about," Jiang told him. "I'm offering you the time to come by and talk. It's something very, very, important. I could tell you now but I don't trust how the police's ability of tapping phones. I'll be waiting."

As she hung up, Wei was still confused at first. Why does Jiang called her this time of night for something important? Why wait until now? But that doesn't matter, what matters is that he needs to know. So he picked himself up, walk over to his red Velocita and started the engine and drive off. Unbeknown to him, the future may hold something that may change his life forever.
