Wei woke up the next day in his safehouse in Central. He washed up in the bathroom, get dressed in a white shirt, black leather jacket, black pants, and black shoes. While he sat, eating his breakfast, he's been thinking of what Aunt Jiang told him; is he going to do this? For an undercover cop in the past years, he had never done this line of work before. He doesn't even know how to rule the town.
But he knew he have to do this is, taking over Hong Kong means more strength and influence for the Sun On Yee and the bigger chance to exact his revenge on Four Finger Wu. He's going to do this, even if it's taking him two months or even more. With breakfast finished, Wei stood up and walk out of his safehouse with determination on his face, he entered his Velocita and started the engine, and drove off.
He drives through the streets from Central to North Point, looking for a way to start with his new journey. And in order to do that, he has to meet Conroy and the others, so he continues driving all the way to Golden Koi.
He finally arrived at the restaurant and put the car in stop, he felt a warm fuzzy feeling upon seeing the restaurant again for so long, and Mrs. Chu also misses him and would like to see him again. So he exited the car and walk up to the restaurant, only to meet Conroy and the guys walking out of the place and saw Wei walking by.
"Oh, hey, Wei!" Conroy greeted him, giving him a high five. "I'd figured you must be here to get started."
"Yeah, I thought I find you guys to help me get started with this kind of thing," Wei told him.
"Well, now that you're here," Duke said. "Let's discuss now, can we?"
Wei nodded as he followed the others into the restaurant, they both took a seat at the table, looking around that the restaurant is empty, except that Mrs. Chu was upstairs in the kitchen. It's time to talk business here and now.
"So, what do you guys suggested?" Wei asked them, breaking the silence.
"Well, you should start here, that's what," Calvin answered.
"Yeah, Wei," Conroy agreed. "Ever since Big Smile Lee send his men to attack here, this place has gone downhill because of the safety of the people and people never liked coming back here again. The place is going bankrupt."
"And so does Club Bam Bam after that messed there," Duke added.
"I see," Wei replied. "Alright, I'll see what I can do," he was about to stand up but Calvin stopped him.
"Woah!" Calvin interrupted him. "You're not even halfway to that part yet!"
"What are you talking about?" Wei asked him.
"Well, you see," Calvin explained. "first thing's first is you need a place of your own. An empire building, there, you can call it home, where your men guards at, you know, you can also have your own office as well..."
"Yeah I get the picture," Wei said instantly. "Maybe your right, my safehouses aren't good enough, I think I'm going to need to have a place of my own, like a mansion, penthouse, something."
"Oh, no problem, bro," Conroy agreed. "It may take time but we will find that place for you to call it your empire base and home. We just gotta be wise about this."
"Especially now the 18K are increasingly becoming a strong force in this year alone," Duke added.
"And we also gotta keep a low profile since the cops around here are very adamant about crimes in Hong Kong," Calvin said.
Just then, A Waters Street Gang member walked into them just in time, and the four noticed him walking by.
"Guys, we got fucking 18K guys outside!" He announced.
So then, they stood up from their seats and walk out with their pistols tucked into their pants. They knew full well that the 18K are stronger than before, so they have to be wise about this if they're going to walk out of it alive, especially since Wei needs to serve justice to his late family.
They walk outside to meet 4 18K members standing by the road, they all wear that cocky smug on their faces as they saw them walking out. They confronted them as Wei get into one's face with a murderous look on his face.
"What are you bastards doing here?" Wei asked him menacingly.
The 18K member just gave him a cocky smile and said, "Oh, nothing. Nothing at all, maybe we're just here to tell you that the new era of Hong Kong is starting, and the Sun On Yee is no more."
"We were just minding our own business!" Conroy spatted at them.
"Oh, I know," the 18K member replied with a laughed. "And we're also here to mock you knowing that all of you will be dead next."
"So watch yourselves around here," the other 18K member added. "Because this place will be ours soon enough."
Wei and his friends just glared at them, they're not intimidated, not even one bit. Knowing each other, they're not going to let the 18K take everything they have, or what's left of it. The 18K decided it's time to leave them be and on their way.
"Let's go," the 18K member said. "I think they got the message."
As he turns around and walks away, the others followed suit, Calvin doesn't take it kindly to have bickered like that, so he walks up to them, draws his gun out, and shot the rival member in the back of the head, then dropped dead. This prompted the other rivals to rush back into their car and drive off.
"New era my ass!" Calvin shouted at the speeding vehicle driving away. "The Sun On Yee will be back on top soon enough!"
So then, he hops on his sports back and drives after them, leaving the others dumbfounded. Conroy pointed a light blue four-door car so they hope into that car with Wei taking the driver seat and drive off after Calvin and the rivals.
"Come on, Wei!" Conroy shouted. "We gotta catch up with them before Calvin gets himself killed!"
So then, Wei continued driving through the streets in North Point until they were on the freeway, they eventually caught up to Calvin who was firing his gun at the 18K car, screaming loudly. They have to make sure he's okay, while at the same time, avoiding the other drivers on the road, so Wei swerved left and right as he continued catching up after them.
The car Calvin was shooting catch fire and explode, killing them inside, but there's still more, more 18K cars appeared and they were about to gun Calvin down but Wei drive the car faster to give Conroy and Duke the perfect range to fire their guns back at them, thus the 18K either get struck by bullets or their vehicles catch fire and explode as well.
The wild chase eventually ended when the surviving 18K drivers drive to the small shack at the shoreline, this is the same place where Wei found Dogeyes and had to chase him via boat from there.
The 18K put a stop with the rest of their members waiting for them, with assault rifles in their hands, Calvin jumps off the moving bike, and the bike itself ram into the explosive barrel, thus killing some of the 18K members that near it. Wei and the others finally caught up as well, and they see a lot of 18K guys with their assault rifles, so they quickly exited the vehicle and duck behind as Calvin rejoined them.
Conroy opened up a trunk and grab each assault rifle to the others, "Good thing this car is pack with heat," he said as he cocked his gun.
So then, Wei and his friends took cover behind the car as they fired back with their assault rifles, it's 10-20 against 4 so they have to be wary of this if they want to survive.
"You got us real deep into this shit, this time, Calvin!" Conroy shouted as he quickly reloaded his gun and fired back at them.
"What was I supposed to do?!" Calvin protested, killing some of 18K members. "I don't like to be made fun of like that, you know!"
"Just shut up and kill these bastards!" Wei roared as he continued firing at them.
They hold their own as each and every one of the 18K rivals dropped dead, and they're even more coming into the shore via boats but they quickly put bullets on their skulls and their boats as they were either died by bullets or the boats catch fire and explode killing them too.
After 1 minute, the 18K were dead but Wei and his friends survived, as they look around the shore, all eyes stare at Calvin who sheepishly chuckled. Wei marched up with him an angry look on his face.
"We'll deal with you later," he hissed at Calvin.
"B-but at least we fight back!" Calvin reasoned with them.
"Yeah, but we didn't come up with a proper plan and it's only a matter of time until the 18K pummeled on all of our guys even harder without realizing it!" Conroy added.
"So, what now?" Duke asked them.
"We'll split up," Wei answered. "Lay low for today, and tomorrow we'll meet again. Simple as that."
"Okay," Conroy added as he walks up to the car. "Let's go. See ya, Wei."
As Conroy and the two drive off, Wei decides that to pick more ammunition for the assault rifle and entered a black car, and quickly drives off. No doubt the cops will be alerted by all of this, but hey, at least they'll not think that he was responsible for it.
