Waves crashed against the rocky shore. Sprays of water clung onto his skin. His blue eyes focused on the human female doing her sword routine. A red and white tagelmust covered her head. Her red tunic gave her flexible to her movement still showed off her female body. On the rocky ground stepped her bare feet. Her black shorts enhanced her wide hips. She was part of Taiyang's group.
"You removed your hakama."
She continued her routine.
"Then you are searching for a mate dressed that way."
Still doing her routine, "I'm no one's mate."
"If you were my mate, I would teach you a lesson in respect."
Stopping, she stared at him.
Laying the flat side of her sword against her left forearm, "I like to see you try teaching me anything."
"I've no weapon."
Sheathing her sword, she unbuckled her sword belt. Tossing it the side, she went into a fighting stance with her palms opened. Smiling, Adam went to his tiger stance.
The waves clashed against the rocks. Pouncing at the same time, Adam's left hand scratched the outside of Raven's right thigh. Her right knee connected under his chin as the fingers of his right hand scratched her left shin. Her left knee slammed into his right temple. Catching her by her hips, his fingers dug into her flesh. Wrapping her legs around his neck, she leaned back causing his back to land on the hard, pointing rocky surface.
Bouncing, he rolled onto his feet. On his right knee, he split out blood. Standing, he turned wiping the trickle of the blood from his lips with the back of his right hand.
Watching the scratches on her legs slowly being healed by her aura, his fingers and thumb bent into a clawlike form.
Rushing at her, Adam sent a flurry of strikes at her red eyes. Matching his tempo didn't prevent his fingers from scratching her arms. Her left forearm shot against his ribs allowed him to pivot behind her. His fingers went down her back tearing away the back of her red tunic. Her quick tug of her black sports bra allowed him to grip her forearms. Pressing her back against his chest, he breathed in her scent.
"Your blood and sweat arouse feelings in me," he whispered into her left ear.
Jamming her fingers into his ribs allowed her to drop. Sliding backwards between his legs, she rushed towards her sword. Clasping the hilt, she unsheathed it. Rushing at the smirking Adam, her momentum stopped. Her widen eyes to the sight of Taiyang standing between them with the tip of her sword pressed against his right forearm and his left open left palm aimed at the center of Adam's collarbone.
"Taiyang."
"Adam."
Smiling, his blue eyes watched Taiyang's blood drip from the hilt of her sword.
"She's a worthy mate," stepping from them, "if one can tame her."
Bowing, Adam headed to his room. Entering his room, he leaned over the sink. Coughing blood into the white basin, he watched the running water carried his blood down the drain.
Breathing hard, "If she wasn't human," removing his shirt, "I would make her my mate," staring at the bruises decorating his chest.
Watching Yang leave, "If those two would figure the status of their relationship," replied Larry, "we would explain why we agreed to spend the night."
"Coming, coming for you," drifted into the twins' ears.
"That's why Yang properly wanted to stay," remarked Leonard.
"Now I'm coming, I'm for you,"
"No, Yang's chasing Winston."
Six toga wearing maidens slicked their way into the house.
Three maidens surrounded Larry while the other three surrounded Leonard.
"Let me tempt you and tease you
And pet you and please you
And squeeze every inch of your love
Let me show you things you never dreamed of," stroking the twins' skin with their tongues.
Running their fingers through the twins' hair, "Coming, coming for you
Now I'm coming, I'm for you," snaking their arms around the twins.
Staring at other, the twins shrugged their shoulders as the maidens' attempt to seduce them continued.
"Come and take me and shape me
And mold me and make me
And fill me with your fire
Come do anything to me your little heart desires."
"Don't know," said Larry, "I desire a lot."
"Come to me-Come to me-I come for you
"That's Yang's thing with Winston."
"Make it harder and harder, faster and faster
And when you think you can't keep it up
I'll make it deeper and deeper, tighter and tighter
And drain every drop of your love."
"There's a market for that," replied Leonard.
"Coming, coming for you
Feel me coming, I'm coming for you
Coming, coming for you
Feel me coming, I'm coming just for you."
Slipping from the sirens' hold, "Sounds tone deaf," remarked Larry.
"More like cats being turned into violins," replied Leonard.
"Or fiddles for that southern comfort."
"Do you have an agent for your lack of a showbiz career?"
Noticing the maidens' confusion, "Like a puppet on a string," sung Larry, "Like a monkey on a swing
Man is clinging to the ropes
Of fantasies and hope
We are dangling
He's so eager to believe
And so easily deceived
Like a baby watching magic, he's so gullible it's tragic
In a word "naïve"
"Life is nothing but showbizness," harmonized the twins, "We fight for the spotlight, we kill for "encore"
Life is nothing but showbizness, the world's a cabaret
We live for the fortune, we die for the fame."
"See the Incredible Shrinking man," said Larry, "Where's the Shrinking man? Embarrassing. Leonard, take this section of lyrics,"
Gathering both his and Yang's gear, Larry exited the building.
"Like the bleary eyed baboon," sung Leonard, "To an organ-grinder's tune
Mankind screamies, for whatever bits of dreamies
We might treat them to
A computer for a heart
Make him stop or make him start
Feeding him emotion, while we feed on his devotion
And he calls it "art"
His shot at the chorus without his brother, "Life is nothing but showbizness
We fight for the spotlight, we kill for "encore"
Life is nothing but showbizness, the world's a cabaret
We live for the fortune, we die for the fame."
Gathering his and Winston's gear, he sprinted out of the building. Quickly barring, Larry wedged himself against the door as Leonard barred the door.
Stepping backwards, "Well," replied Larry, "that should hold them…"
BOOM! Sailing through the night air, a flaming stove slammed into the building. The shockwave sent the twins onto their back.
Watching the burning building and the listening to the screaming, "That could've ended better," remarked Leonard.
"Let's go find Winston and Yang."
"They're properly tongue wrestling."
During the twins' musical allude with the sirens, Yang searched for Winston by the light of the full moon of Winter.
Detecting a Gothic organ, "Chasing the light, leaving the fight to heroes, heroes
Carry the light, we have the right of heroes, heroes
Chasing the light, faster than light we're heroes, heroes
Carry the light, ooh what a sight you're heroes, heroes, heroes," she hummed then when a series of "Woe. Oh, Woe. Wooooe. Woe-oh-oh."
Entering a rundown house of worship for Ymir and Lugh, she saw a man tickling the organ keys of a Gothic Organ shaped like a spider with wooden engraving of faces trapped in a web.
"What are those wooden engraving going Woe," thought Yang, "Oh, Woe. Wooooe. Woe-oh-oh. No, wait it's that woman with a broom going Woe. Oh, Woe. Wooooe. Woe-oh-oh."
The music stopped. The organ player turned.
"A lost soul looking for enlightenment from those silly fairy tales of higher beings ruling their lives."
"No, I'm looking for someone."
"Aren't we all, child," said the woman.
"And who are you actually?"
"Father Dawkins Hitchens."
"And I am Mother Kafka Sanger."
"Yeah," backing slowly towards the door.
Stopping, she saw Father Dawkins Hitchens blocking her exit.
"Wait? How?"
Placing his right hand on her shoulder, "Why question the intelligential authority?" asked Father Dawkins Hitchens running his fingers through Yang's blonde hair.
"Leave…my…hair," pivoting counterclockwise, "ALONE!" punching him through the pews.
Stepping forward, she couldn't move. Something white, stringy, and sticky covered Ember Celica. Sudden pull of the white strings hanging from the white encasement sent Yang to her knees and her arms secured behind her back.
Eight spider legs entered her field of sight. Mother Kafka Sanger's torso was attached to the spider abdomen.
"Such beautiful skin," brushing her leg claws across Yang's skin, "Lovely vessel," fluffy Yang's hair, "My new guardian to protect my babies," stroking Yang's midriff.
"I prefer a Winston."
Placing a cigarette into Yang's mouth, the woman licked Yang's neck. Kissing Yang's midriff, Mother Kafka Sanger drove her fangs onto Yang's right thigh.
As venom pumped into Yang's blood stream, "Winston had a better taste," thought Yang as unconsciousness claimed her.
Waking up, Winston discovered he's all tied up in a roasting pan with an apple in his mouth.
"Cooking in the kitchen with Diane. Diane come blow your horn."
Widening his mouth, his tongue slowly pushed the apple out.
Spitting chunks of the apple from his mouth, "What's a cooking besides me, chief?"
"Ah, my tasting delicatessen for the queen and her babies."
"Sorry, no. That would be the delicatessen from Remnant vs Soup."
"What kind of delicatessen is that?"
"That would be Back Bay Bayou Bordelaise ala Julie Child."
"Julie Child of Christie?"
"Not talking about Child of Lord Flies."
"I must know this recipe."
"I'm currently tied up right now."
Grabbing a knife, the chief cut Winston free. Climbing out of the pan, Winston studied the chief.
"You'll be my assistant," picking him up, "First, immerse thoroughly in wine," dunking him in a barrel of wine, "Then pickle," stuffed in jar, "Shake well," tossing into the prepetition table, "Then stuff with hot sauce, chili peppers, bay leaf, bay rum, hot mustard, horse radish, mule radish, and dash of tabasco sauce," dumping a bag of flour onto his assistant, "Next, dip liberally in flour," applying the rolling pin, "And roll briskly with rolling pin. Knead gently, but firmly. Then pour into stew pot. Add sliced parsnips, potatoes, asparagus, onions…"
"No, onions."
"No, onions?"
"No, onions. Give me heartburn."
"Skip the onions," howling out a carrot with a parrying knife, "last not least, a nice big carrot," stuffing a stick of fire dust into the carrot, "to add a kick," lighting the fuse.
Placing the carrot into the pot, he placed the lid on the pot. Sliding them into the oven, he closed oven door. Running out the kitchen, it blew up sending him onto the ground as the oven flew towards the building he shared with his teammates.
