On a TV in a bar somewhere in Vacuo was the final round of the thirtieth Vytal singles tournament. Two Atlesian soldiers were cheering on Winter Schnee, the pride of Atlas Academy.
"Can't believe they didn't disqualify that Branwen woman," echoed through the empty bar.
"Clearly she was out of bounds and landed first. That's a disqualification."
"They both landed at the same time," brought their attention onto a young man with red hair with brown streaks through his red hair resting his chin on his thumbs of his interlaced fingers.
Noticing two black slightly curved horns with red notches protruding from his hair, "When did you serve animals?" asked one of the soldiers.
Wiping a beer mug, "I'm a capitalist," said the bartender, "As long he has lien, I don't care."
"Bet that Branwen is a faunus lover."
"She's no friend of mine."
"Did your faunus father rape some poor human female to bring you into the existence?"
"I'm father was human and a bastard."
Picking up Adam's sword, "Playing with sharp blades," unshealthing the wooden sword, "Going to use this to give Grimm splinters."
"It's good enough to use on racist soldiers," slamming his fists into the soldiers' stomach.
Slamming their heads into the bar, he held up a shot glass to the image of Raven beating Winter.
"To you, Lady Branwen," he said pouring contents down his throat.
Paying his bill, he left to master his sword technique.
Reaching the town square, Winston saw the twins by a big white tree with his and Yang's gear.
Noticing the fire, "Winston, you did the Back Bay Bayou Bordelaise ala Julie Child," remarked Larry tossing Bron-Yr-Aur to Winston.
Catching Bron-Yr-Aur, "Used too much onion," replied Winston.
"Aaaaand no, Yang to taste the wine," said Leonard.
"Speaking of which," responded Winston.
Noticing Yang with her head tilted down and her arms dangling by her side like a marionette waiting for the strings to be pulled, "Not a good sign," said Larry removing the cylinder attached to his left wrist guard of his chain mail.
Removing his cylinder from his right wrist guard of his chain mail, "Never is with her."
Activating Ember Celica, Yang head rushed at the twins. Pressing a button, the cylinder became a staff. Three prong shot from the end of the staff.
Larry twirled Apsu. Leonard twirled Uttu. Standing six feet apart, their hands spun their tridents like propellers using wind power to slow Yang momentum since striking her only makes her stronger.
Crossing her arms to block the wind gushes, Yang slowly inched her way towards the twins. A gust of wind sent her upwards.
Stepping behind her, Winston pushed a button on the sheath changing it into a fan. Up, down motion of Satyriocon kept Yang off her feet. Twirling of Apsu and Uttu immobilized her. Now where to secure her?
"You fools!" bringing their attention onto a spider faunus, "You can't stop my champion!"
"You guys got the arachnid. Yang's my problem."
Stopping his twirling of Utta, "She's yours," replied Leonard chasing the spider with Larry.
Landing on her left knee with her fists pressed against the ground, Yang lifted her head up. Her purple eyes followed her two preys' movement. Chasing after them got interrupted by a left arm slipping under her left arm. A right hand gripped her left wrist pressing her forearm against her neck. Elbow strikes by her right elbow against his ribs didn't lessen the grip.
Bending over allowed Winston to jump on her back. His weight didn't buckle her knees right away. Wrapping his legs around her waist, Yang slowly collapsed under Winston's weight.
Laying on their right sides, her strikes lessened. Keeping Yang secured Winston's ears detected shuffling and moaning brought his attention to crowd slowly closing on his location.
Yang's struggles stopped. Releasing her, Winston focused on the slowly moving crowd. With light of the full moon, he noticed familiar faces of the villagers. Retrieving Satyriocon, he did a right and left wave clearing a path through the crowd. Running towards a house, he leapt onto a rooftop of a house.
Noticing a yellow radiance illuminating the scenery, he sighed, turned around witnessing a reviled Yang plowing through the crowd like a bowling ball towards him. Blasts from Ember Celica increased a jumping Yang's momentum towards Winston. Tackling Winston, their arch through the air caused them to bounce then bulldoze through the houses. Sliding down a mound, they sailed off the embankment missing the pikes landed in the rice field.
Resting on his left knee, Winston's left temple collided with Yang's right fist. The flat side of Bron-Yr-Aur blocked another attempt from Ember Celica. Up and down the blade of Bron-Yr-Aur kept blocking the fury of Ember Celia. During the fury of Ember Celia, Winston sprinkled fire dust into Ember Celia's loading chambers. BOOM! Flames covering Ember Celia didn't stop Yang's fury of punches.
The ground began shaking. Geysers burst from the ground. A geyser burst under Winston and Yang. Landing on his back, he found Yang landing on top of him. Her knees pinned his arms. Trying to ground pound Winston's face proved difficult cause Winston's head dodged her punches. Her left hand clasped his neck. Pulling her right fist back, she swayed. Shaking her head, she passed out landing in a puddle.
Wincing, Winston sat up. Pulling Yang from the puddle, he cradled her.
"Not exactly how you planned on getting to my arms," he mumbled wiping mud from her face.
Chasing along the rooftops, Larry matched Leonard's tempo through the space between the houses. The spider leaped over the huge gap. Jumping, the twins slammed their tridents producing a shockwave that sounded like thunder. Knocking the spider out of the air, it landed on its back.
Pinning its right arm with his left foot, Larry's right foot pressed its spider's leg. Leonard repeated the same thing with his right foot pinning its left arm. Raising their tridents, their ears detected shuffling and moaning.
Their pause allowed the spider faunus to slide free. Flipping onto its legs, it jumped onto a roof.
"My children feast!" disappearing.
Scanning the villagers with his scroll, "It seems the villagers are dead," remarked Leonard.
"That clears my conscious," replied Larry noticing the villager ballooning up, "Huh."
The corpuses popped sending baby spiders into the air.
"It's raining spiders," commented Leonard, "oh my," holding up Utta.
Slapping Apsu against Utta, the twins rubbed their tridents together producing electricity. Releasing the electricity, it fried and caused the spiders to pop releasing green blood in the air. Twirling of their tridents prevented blood from covering them.
Flames from Utta coated the spiders. The eight legged flame balls continued crawling towards them. Sticking the three prong end of Apus into the ground, Larry's right foot kicked the staff section of Apus. The ground begun to shake. The twins stood on the handle tip of their tridents. Geysers of water shot from the ground flooding the area. Watching the stream carry spiders, the twins jumped into the air. Tugging their tridents free, they pole vaulted along the drowning spiders. Stopping, they noticed the water draining into a cave in a hill.
"Spiders do have dens," remarked Larry, "instead of webs."
"Sometimes underground," answered Leonard dropping fire dust capsules into the water.
Watching the water resided, "Using corpuses to protect her eggs," stepping onto the mud.
Rubbing Utta against Aspu, "Quite true," releasing electrity.
Arching along the water, it entered the cave. The ground shook. Fire shot from the cave knocking the twins down.
Watching the fire balls lit up the night sky, "Too much dust," remarked Larry.
"Quite so," replied Leonard getting up, "Let's find the love birds."
"Don't bother," brought the twins' attention onto Winston carry unconscious Yang.
"Winston," said Larry, "the reason we were staying the night was because our scrolls detected missing hunters and huntresses among the villagers."
"Really?" walking past the twins.
Walking behind Winston, "Going to give her a bath?"
"It would indecent for me to give an unconscious woman a bath."
"Yet, you'll let her sleep covered in mud."
"Drop it and lets find a dry place to sleep for the night."
Following Winston, "Such gratitude for us using fire dust to cleanse the tunnels."
