Chapter 54: The Fight for the Fortress

All events are happening at the same time

Team Sonic entered the black comet

Silver has left to find the source

The battle for GUN Fortress is happening. The president is running down a secret hallway into a hidden armory. Abraham sits him down.

Abraham: "That bastard escaped."

President: "So what happens next?"

Abraham: "We get you to safety."

Abraham grabs a shotgun and starts loading it. He tosses it to his commander as he grabs a few pistols. He grabs an Assualt rifle and loads it. He gives the president body armor as he holds a pistol and shotgun. He puts on his vest and helmet.

Abraham: "Stay behind me Mr. preside-"

He see's the president grab a few grenades and a MP5.

President: "I'll stay close."

Abraham: "Geez. Never seen you like this.'

President: "You think I don't know what we're getting into? I didn't become president for nothing."

He puts his mags in the important parts of his vest.

President: "How are those new suits I heard your research team working on?"

Abraham: "It's a good thing we finished testing last week. They should be located in the research fields. We'll be able to get you a chopper and put you on air force one."

President: "I don't think it would matter."

Abraham: "Mr. President?"

*Cocks shotgun*

President: "Lets go."

They both walk out into a hallway. A lot of screaming and shootings. They run down the hall and at the far end a bunch of elite black arm soldiers. They gun down and shoot GUN Agents and soldiers in their path.

Abraham: "Let's kill these sick fucks."

Amy

In the barracks. She sits next to an unconscious bat. A lot of blood, sweat, tears and moaning. Civilians, politicians, Soldiers. The place is on an emergency lockdown. She grabs a water bottle and starts drinking. Her leg is bandaged. She watches the tv.

News

Reporter: "The united federation is under heavy attack. The terrorist known as the black arms have now returned to our planet. Local authorities have now issued an evacuation of all cities of the country. The military has issued a state of emergency and are giving everything they have to take back the federation. Right now we are broadcasting from empire city where the military are almost able to take back the city."

GUN Soldier: "We pushing them back. block by block. We have the best equipment. Right now we're gonna be packing and heading to central city to fight back the black arms."

Amy

Rouge: "Doesn't seem like they're taking this seriously."

The pink hedgehog turns around to see her injured friend.

Amy: "Rouge! You're awake!"

She hugs her with a few tears running down her eyes.

Rouge: "Yeah… ow."

Amy: "Sorry."

Rouge: "So what happened?"

Amy: "The black arms are attacking."

Rouge sits up.

Amy: "Relax you need to rest."

Rouge: "I'm fine. I been through worst. Where's shadow?"

Amy: "Last time I checked he was with Gloom."

Rouge: "Yep. I knew he would escape."

Amy: "Why?"

Rouge: "Because knowing him it's like he always had something up his sleeve. Think about Amy. It was probably his plan all along. Maybe from way back when you guys fought him on the ark. He could've escaped then and he sure as hell doing it now. He wanted this to happen and now his friends have come to break him out."

Amy: "What I want to understand is how are there so many of them and how did they manage to create a new black comet?"

Rouge: "They were in hiding. They were on the verge of victory but failed thanks to shadow remember."

Amy: "Yeah."

Rouge: "So now it's happening again. What I want to know is what's he after this time?"

In the barracks an announcer comes in with a microphone.

GUN Soldier: "Attention everyone. We are at defcon 1. We are instructing everyone to please grab anyone injured or hurt will be evacuated immediately."

Amy: "You hear that rouge? We're being evacuated."

Rouge: "I heard but im not going."

She sits up and notices her wing is in bad shape.

Amy: "I don't think you will be able to move."

Rouge: "It's just a broken wing. Ow!"

Amy: "Yeah sure it is."

Rouge: "And you have a broken leg."

Amy: "It's not broken. Just hurt."

Rouge: "Still… we need to find shadow."

Amy: "Yeah. he's probably heading towards us."

Shadow

He's scurrying through the corridors. He makes it towards a big room full of GUN Soldiers at section 8. They all look at him.

GUN Soldier: "Shadow the hedgehog?"

Shadow: "Yes."

GUN Soldier: "Good to know you're on our side. We heard Gloom the hedgehog escape."

Shadow: "Do you know where he is?"

GUN Soldier: "Last communication we had about his whereabouts were with general Abraham. He was spotted near the lower level of the defcon area. The PEOC"

Shadow: "President's bunker. Okay thanks."

He runs off to find him.

Shadow: "Gotta get to him."

He runs down a large hallway and makes it towards one of the elevators. He sees GUN Soldiers ready to press the button but shadow hurries in before they can go up.

Shadow: "Hold the elevator."

He runs in and notices a few soldiers he recognizes.

Roj: "Good to see you here."

Shadow: "Hmph. Yeah"

A surge dims his vision a bit. Black aurora starts glowing. His new rings that he got from beth on the ark start glowing. Shadow feels a warm tension all around him and he starts to sweat.

GUN Soldier: "Hey are you okay. You don't look so good."

Shadow: "I-I'm fine."

The elevator goes up until it ends with a earthquake happening for a moment.

Roj: "All right. This should be the barracks. They hop off to see a generator along with other injured soldiers on the ground. Everyone is scurrying around as shadow runs ahead and notices the infirmary.

Shadow: "Gotta see if they're here."

He runs in and looks around for his two favorite people.

Amy: "Hey Shadow!"

Shadow runs up to see amy's bandaged leg and his injured partner.

Shadow: "Is everything all right?"

Amy: "yeah. it's good to know you're okay."

Rouge: "Where's Gloom?"

Shadow: "Escaped. Last anyone seen him was near the peoc."

Rouge: "Oh No… he's targeting the president."

Shadow: "You two stay here. Im gonna look for-"

*Bang*

A large explosion can be heard down the hallway.

GUN Soldier: "They breached!"

Gunfire is being taken place as black arm soldiers are being shown outside the infirmary taking out all that stand in there way.

Shadow: "Stay here."

Shadow walks out into the hallway and notices the black soldiers. They all stop to see shadow.

Black arm: "It's him."

They're all shocked and point their weapons at him. A soldier goes onto his headpiece.

Black arm: "Sir. Shadow the hedgehog is in front of us, what are his orders about him?"

Shadow: …

Black arm: "Affirmative."

They take aim and fire at him. he teleports and appears behind the black floating. He back kicks him to the wall and teleports behind another black arm clubbing it with both of his hands from above. He teleports again behind the third one and grabs him and breaks his back with his knee. He scoots him off and notices a bunch of GUN Agents behind him.

Shadow: "Get out. Get everyone to safety."

GUN Agents: "You heard him people, lets move!"

Amy walks out into the hallway and notices Shadow standing there with the unconscious black arms. He picks up the one he crippled and talks to it.

Shadow: "What are you doing here? What is your objective?"

Black arm: "We're here to rescue lord gloom. We were given orders to take the human stronghold."

Shadow: "Of course. Where is he now?"

Black arm: "I don't know. We were here to clear out anything in our way."

Shadow sits him up next to the wall and pulls out his pistol. He loads a clip with the bullets he was given from Beth and Tails on the ark.

Shadow: "Time to put these into good use."

Amy: "Shadow wait, I'm coming with you."

Shadow: "No. I need you to go with the others."

Amy: "What are you going to do?"

Shadow: "I'm gonna find him."

He speeds off.

Amy: "Please be safe."

GUN Soldier: "Ma'am you should come with us."

Amy: "Yeah..."

Gloom

He walks down the hallway. Hearing the gunfire and screams from everywhere. The black arms are everywhere. Watches as the humans try to fight them off in a hallway.

Gloom: "Holy cow! This has gone better than I have actually hoped it would."

He teleports up onto a box and sits down as the humans be gunned downed. The black arms look up to see there master.

Black arms: "Master."

They all bow down as he hops down.

Gloom: "Seems you boys done good work. Where's the president?"

Black arm lieutenant: "spotted near the research facility."

Gloom: "Tell them all I need him alive. This would be all for nothing if he falls. I'll go on and look for him."

Black arm lieutenant: "Yes sir. Also sir, my men have spotted the other black hedgehog."

Gloom: "Kill him if he gets in the way."

Black arm lieutenant: "Understood."

Gloom's conscience: "Hmph, not that it matters for you anyway. He'll blow right through you chumps to get to me. By then it'll be too late."

He enters in the back of his mind and makes contact with his buddy.

Mystery

He's camouflaged. He's undetectable by anyone around him. there's a bunch of GUN Soldiers moving and heading out into the battle field. He's walking down a hallway underground and makes it to one of the super powered generators.

?: …

Gloom: "Hey, you there?"

The mystery holds on to his head.

?: "Yes."

Gloom: "You got the generators?"

?: "I made it to one of them."

Gloom: "Destroy it. Without the it the section you're at will power down and let the gas spread without the vents blowing through the facility."

?: "I like this plan. The backup generators would keep the oxygen levels stable and blow more air including the gas in the facility."

Gloom: "Depending on how long the gas will spread. Which it will."

He walks up with the blitz sword in his hand. He tries to get close to it but is blocked by a big foot standing in his path. it unleashes it guns and gun beetles start to fly in from nowhere. Camouflaged Gun soldiers appear and he figures out his not alone.

GUN Soldier: "On the ground now!"

?: …

He unsheathes it and gets a good look at it. He channels iss chaos energy in the blade he took from sonic and electricity starts to flow within him. he charges it and green light starts to glow instead of blue. He raises it into the air and a storm surge is brought around the area. Its hard for him to control and he gets the hang of it. It destroys the GUN Beetles flying around him. He dashes in the air and swift strikes all those around him. he's as fast as sonic.

GUN Soldier: "open fire!"

He deflects the bullets back making sure they stay out of his way. They hit their legs or arms or make the guns explode.

Some are injured and some are weaponless. They all try to attack him but he teleports behind them knocking them out quietly and silently. The ones on the ground are injured.

GUN Soldier: "Please spare me."

He walks past them and the big foot unleashes rockets towards him. he quickly focuses and pulls out the sword underly and sends an electric slash wave splitting all of them in half and missing him.

The big foot tries to fire it's guns at him but he teleports on top of the one piloting the big foot. He stabs the driver in the head killing him and the big foot is pilotless. He hops down and looks at the generator.

He jumps up and stabs the generator with blitz.

?: "Haaaaahh!"

He channels electricity through the generator and starts overloading it. It starts smoking and everything is fried. Sparks and smoke and the lights start flickering on and off. It explodes and the mystery jumps down dusting his uniform off.

?: "One down, 2 more to go."

Abraham and the president

A shotgun pellot is sent through the black arms chest by the president. Abraham and a unit of GUN Troops are in the main hub area taking it back.

Abraham: "That should be the last of em for now. Great work everyone. Scott debrief."

GUN Soldier: "I just got on the comms with the battalion in the armory hold near the testing reaserch field. They say the suits will be ready. the only way to get to them is-"

President: "Is to get through the hell on earth that's waiting for us outside!"

*Cocks shotgun*

Abraham: "We'll make it."

GUN Soldier: "But there's no way we're getting through that."

GUN Soldier: "Yeah, I agree with him. especially with these guns

President: "Gentlemen, at times like these our capacity to retaliate must be and has to be massive. To deter all forms of aggression."

Abraham: "We're the GUN. The united federations most ruthless and protective force that has ever been shown on the face of the planet. We always come prepared."

He walks behind the desk and sees a good friend he knows lying on the floor dead with a gun in her hand.

Abraham: "Hey Lynda. I knew one day we would need the front desk loudout. Thanks for all the advice."

He hits a button on the front desk and the wall behind them changes and unleashes an ammo stash of weapons.

GUN Soldier: "Oh hell yeah."

GUN Soldier: "Nice!"

GUN Soldier: "Sweet."

President: "Gentlemen, Lock and load."

They all gear up. They grab the rifles, submachines, pistols, knives, marksman rifles, you name it. A big GUN Soldier with a mg walks up and prepares for the door in armor.

Abraham: "any last words mr. president?"

President: "I have given my life to this country. My soul. My hope. My honor. And it has been my greatest adventure. These things and their leader, have a vendetta. A cause to take away the free world from us. They think we're weak. Simple. Cruel. But they're right about us humans. We are cruel wicked people but. But their vision is no better than ours. The world made us this way. Life is cruel one. the endless circle of death pain and misery lives on forever. It never ends for all people. why? Because people like them take. They have no dream. No hope. No sense of humanity. I only pity them. I believe we will win this war. With the help fellow hedgehogs I know and respect. They will guide us to the future. I seen it. I seen the end of the great war in my dreams. All I ask is in the end, show mercy to them. show them what humanity really is. Humanity faces extinction unless we end this war now."

The soldiers stand next to the president as the first wave of soldiers stand next to the door awaiting their next and possibly final order. There's 30 of them in the hub ready to go out and die on the battle field.

President: "Don't pray for easy lives my friends. Pray to be stronger."

All GUN Soldiers: "OOOOHH-RAAAAHHH!"

Abraham: "NOW LETS GO!"

The door opens. They charge out towards the armory fields as a horde of Black arm soldiers stand in their way. They are surprised and outmatched by the Attack of the GUN. They fight and fire at the enemy black arms. A lot bigger and stronger than them. but not as tough as their will to fight. They kill anything in their path and help some fallen comrades up. They head towards the direction of the research facility and armory.

Amy

As the soldiers and people head out through a secret underground passage the lights start flickering on and off. The power goes out and they light up some glow sticks

GUN Soldier: "Calm down everyone. Lets keep proceeding towards the presidential palace."

Amy carries rouge by the shoulders as a few woman and children can be heard talking and crying.

Rouge: "You alright baby?"

Amy: "Yeah, just thinking and wondering about the others?"

Rouge: "And about sonic?"

Amy: "… He couldn't even be any further from my mind."

Rouge: "After all this you still love him. that's what I envy about you. at least you had a hero."

Amy: "What about you?"

Rouge: "Heh, I never really had anyone like that. I was always the go with the flow and making money type. I do think about knuckles. His hammered head could always be the all talk no brains with me. sure do hope he's okay. They're probably on their way to help now."

Amy: "Yeah…"

Rouge: "Hey I just now remembered. I like the dress you wore at the picnic."

Amy: "thanks I made it myself."

Rouge: "so you took my advice. Told you."

Amy: "thanks."

Rouge: "it's honestly hard to believe you and shadow got together. I always knew there was something about it since the day we met you. he did have a little blush when you hugged him."

Amy: "he did?"

Rouge: "Yeah. so about that little feud on the ark?"

Amy: "Oh… yeah."

Rouge: "I honestly have to say. you changed. You've grown into a fine young lady. Heck you'd probably make great mother as soon as Shadow and you give me some kids."

Amy: *Blush* "ROUGE!"

Everyone looks back at them.

Amy: *Embarrassed* "Sorry."

Everyone continues to walk.

Amy: "I don't know rouge."

Rouge: "What? is that not the plan?"

Amy: "W-well.. I Don't think I'd be.. I don't know. I always dreamed of having children with sonic but shadow…"

She thinks about it in her head and wonders.

Rouge: "It's alright. I was only joking. Not really please give me some nieces and nephews."

Amy: "But what about you and knuckles."

Rouge: "Hmph, touche."

They walk a little further and the power pops back on.

Man: "Sweet. The powers back on."

Amy: "Now we see."

The people start walking and stop.

Amy: "What's going on?"

GUN Soldier: "We're blocked by a door."

A big GUN Door is in their way.

GUN Soldier: "Hey josh still got that key card?"

He brings it up and he inserts it. The door opens with another long hallway. They all enter. The space is so tight and close but they can all still walk through without a hitch.

Amy: "How long are these tunnels?"

Rouge: "About a mile towards the white house. It shouldn't take us long to be on the front lawn of the place."

They start smelling something.

Child: "ew what's that smell?"

Man: "Sewage. We must be near a sewer system."

Rouge: "Wow and this is the presidential escape route."

Amy: "but where's the president?"

They continue walking and come between two hallways.

GUN Soldier: "Head left. The presidents door should be this way-"

He pauses for a moment and notices something.

Man: "Sir what is it?"

GUN Soldier: "what the hell is that?"

A pink fog is brewing from the direction from where the presidents place is. Everyone Is quiet. They step back and amy looks behind her and notices the pink coming from behind her.

Amy: "I think we need to go everyone."

The gun soldier walks up to the fog heading his direction. He touches the fog and it stings him.

GUN Soldier: "Ahhh! Run the fog is poison!"

The people panic and try to go back the way they came pushing amy and rouge out of the way. A man runs ahead and is consume by the fog. He starts screaming and is consumed by it. The gas eats away his skin and he coughs up blood gasping in agony.

Rouge: "Run! Go the other way!"

They all run away to the right and amy and rouge hurry along. A GUN Soldier picks up rouge and runs carrying her while amy limp skips to catch up. The fog starts to spread faster and amy is being left in the dust by everyone else. She hurries towards them trying to find the direction they went. She comes across four other different directions and chooses one of them. she runs down the way and notices more fog. She holds her breath and runs through. Her skin starts burning and she wants to scream but holds it in. she turns down a corner while still holding her breath and makes to a ladder leading up. She goes up and tries to open a latch that won't budge. She bangs and tries to open it as the gas starts to come up to her.

Amy: "HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR!"

someone opens the door from the other side and it's someone she knows.

Amy: "What the heck?"

He helps her up and closes the hatch. A bunch of black arms stare at her and she is greeted by him.

Gloom

Gloom: "Good to know you're alright."

Amy: "How did you? where is? Where are we?"

Gloom: "Welcome to the presidential palace, A.K.A The white house."

Amy: "Why are you doing this?"

Gloom: "Taking out the competition. Water."

One of his servants grabs water and pours it onto her.

Amy: "Oww."

The water washes off the gas and it drips off her shoulders and hair.

Gloom: "Knew those gases had to work. Did you breathe it in?"

Amy: "No. I saw what it does and held my breath."

Gloom: "Hmph. Still if I was you I wash that stuff off. Clean her and bring her back to the oval office. In one piece."

Amy: "Wait, what?"

The black arm soldiers grab her by the arms and drag her outside in the gardens. They stand her next to a wall and strip her down.

Amy: "HEY!"

They spray water on her as she screams and gasps at how cold it is. Gloom waits into the office staring outside. A few black arms walk in with her and a new batch of clothes. She's dressed and cold with regular kaki pants and a white button down shirt.

Gloom: "Good. Leave us."

They all leave and walk out as amy approaches gloom. She slaps him in the face.

Amy: "You need to stop this now!"

Gloom: "too late."

Amy: "You son of a-"

Amy pulls out her piko hammer and swings at Gloom. He dodges and grabs her by the neck.

Gloom: "Listen, even if I wanted to stop this I couldn't. I don't want this as much as you do but we do what we have to for the betterment of a better tomorrow."

He tosses her to the side and away from the hammer

Amy: "You're in charge of them! you can stop this!"

Gloom: "Who ever said I was in charge? All this wasn't my plan."

Amy: "Then who is it?"

*Knock, Knock*

Gloom: "Come in."

The door opens and a man with a bushy mustache walks in.

Amy: "You?"

Dr. Eggman: "So, Happy? Everything going according to plan?"

Gloom: "Yeah."

Amy: "B-but. You… I can't believe you're siding with them."

Dr. Eggman: "Hm-hm. It's always best to go with the winning side."

Amy: "You fat motherf-"

Dr. Eggman: "Can it young lady. I have business to attend to."

Gloom: "Got the codes?"

Dr. Eggman: "I got em but there's a small problem. The wrath of the sun needs clearance from the president."

Gloom: "Knew as much. Guess I still need to find him."

Dr. Eggman: "Alive and in one piece. He's the only one who can set it off."

Gloom: "I'll get him. you stay here."

Dr. Eggman: "If you need me I'll be in the bar drinking his booze."

Amy: "Eggman. He tried to kill you."

Dr. Eggman: "I know."

He walks out.

Amy: "He will betray you."

Gloom: "I'm well prepared for it."

Amy: "But what about shadow?"

Gloom: "What about him? he can take care of himself. Don't worry you'll see him."

He opens the door

Gloom: "C'mon."

She stands up and walks out only to see black arms everywhere taking prisoners. There are people that amy was with around her being taken somewhere or sat down in another room of the building. She follows Gloom as guards stand behind her making sure she does. The soldiers stand in front of him showing respect and fist up leveled to the shoulders signifying their commitment to the race they serve. She follows him around as weapons and planning are being made. She notices rouge.

Amy: "Rouge!"

Rouge: "Amy…"

The black arm pushes Amy forward.

Black arm: "Keep going."

She follows Gloom who walks towards to the front.

Gloom: "Listen. By the end of the day the united federation will be no more. They will call for a surrender and cease fire. We will show them mercy but not without punishment. The doctor has planned all this. he gave us the equipment we need and technology to battle the united federation."

Amy: "But what about all these innocent people?"

Gloom: "We will spare them."

Amy: "But what about shadow. He stuck his neck out for you. he ensured that the GUN wouldn't kill you."

Gloom: "Wasn't that sweet of him?"

Amy: "And what about Maria? Surely she wouldn't have wanted you to do this?"

Gloom: "Maria, has nothing to do with this. I had my revenge. Now I need to complete my mission."

Amy walks to him and punches him in the face. The black arms point their guns at her but Gloom raises his hand and makes them cease.

Amy: "If Maria was here now she would hate you for this."

Gloom: "What makes you think that?"

Amy: "Cause I do."

Gloom grows agitated and slaps her. She falls down on her back. she looks up scared and defenseless. Blood comes out her lip.

Gloom: "What the fuck do you know about her? she was innocent girl who was murdered by people who feared the unknown. It wasn't Maria who showed me the way, it was black doom. He was the first to ever understand people like us. We have been to countless worlds. We have served, helped, killed, and fought for other planets. Most of them went right, most of them went wrong, but we always found a way. There are no goods and evils only people's truth and will. And my, our truth will be made real. We were made to help people like this planet. They will understand peace. The only lesson they need is right here, fear and that's where it counts."

Amy: *wheaping* "So that's it. We just be another planet scratched off the list? You force extinction on a race that's peaceful."

Gloom: "Who said they were ever peaceful?"

He kneels down to her.

Gloom: "Rapist, sex trafficking, murder, greed, power, money, betrayal, genocide, roboticization, I can go on. you people have been here for a long time. what have you done with it. It's not fair. Really not fair. Maria's death taught me a lot of things. Nobody wins on this planet. You're all doomed one way or the other. I ensure you after we're done with this planet. We will continue our legacy. We will travel to billions of worlds. We will sail and ensure the universe is safe. We will use the evil as fuel resources. There will be good in this world and everywhere. We live only to suffer. That's the way the world works. Especially to the weak. We're here to inspire mankind to be better."

He gets grabs her and picks her up.

Amy: "But what about this planet. What about the promise you made to protect this planet to maria."

Gloom: "Sure yeah. im going to ensure this planet gets special treatment while I leave out to save the universe. But not before I complete my mission."

Amy: "And what's that?"

Gloom: "You'll see."

Amy: "But you were happy here. I know you were."

Gloom: "I do. I find this planet beautiful. Just the inhabitants need to be reeducated."

Amy: "You've lost it."

Gloom: "I know you saw the videos on the ark. I miss her more than anything. I know what im doing. But didn't you understand that I always black arm. Don't you get it. I'm not shadow. I'm not that blue guy. I am Gloom. Gloom the hedgehog. I am the next heir. i know who I am. This is all of me."

She stays silent for a moment staring at him. a black arm walks up towards him.

Black arm: "Sir, the president has been found near the research facility."

Gloom: "training grounds. Okay thanks. Make sure she doesn't leave. I'll be back."

He walks out. Tears form amy's eyes and she remembers the conversations she had with Maria on the island.

Amy: "Was it actually an illusion? Or was it actually…?"

Shadow

He's in the base. The place is a warzone. Gunshots can be heard everywhere. Everything is being destroyed. He meets up with Cal at one of the generators that's located at the heart of the base.

Cal: "y'know I should arrest you right now, but now's not the time."

Shadow: "What's the situation?"

Cal: "They've rigged the whole fortress with Gas. He turns on the laptop and shows footage of the pink gas."

Shadow: "That gas. I seen what it can do."

Cal: "So there's a specific black arm out there destroying the generators. The generators are the things that power this place and the air vents. The gas has spread all throughout the underground and this generator right here is the last. We have to defend this place at all cost and the generator. If the generator goes out the other secret generators back up the air flow that helps us breath and will spread the gas through gun fortress flushing us out and we can't go outside without backup and air support. I just got word they are close to retaking empire city and we have to-"

Shadow: "AAAGGHHHRRRHHHHA"

Cal: "Is everything alright?"

The marks on his arm start glowing and feels something.

Shadow: "I'm fine… we're running out of time."

Cal: "Everyone, battle stations. We need to hold out until that goddamn air support gets here. This generator is the only thing keeping us alive."

Shadow: "Wait what about rerouting the air ducts?"

Cal: "We could but the ventilation room in section 5 is gassed. And that gas eats through mask less than 20 seconds."

GUN Soldier: "Sir, we also have word that black arms are not affected by the gas."

Cal: "Of course you can't be infected."

Shadow: "I'll try."

Cal: "There's a door and stair well leading to the place."

Shadow: "I'll reroute it."

GUN Soldier: "Here's the key."

Shadow: "thanks."

5 minutes later

Cal: "This door leads to it."

Shadow: Thanks.

Shadow looks at the door. He feels something. Something relatable getting closer. His mark glows in and out.

Shadow: "I'll hurry back to help you defend this place."

Cal: "Good luck."

They open it with just a crack for him to sqeeze in and he breathes it in.

Shadow: "It smells bad but yet, im not affected by it."

He hurries towards the place and they closet the door.

GUN Soldier: "Sir what happens after today?"

Cal: "I don't know. Is the suit ready?"

GUN Soldier: "Yes sir."

He walks back and opens a brief case. It looks like a super hero outfit it's dark blue, gray and black. has a slick and smooth leather that's light.

Cal: "I hope that longest year of testing and training pays off for this."
