Team Sonic's ship flies over Gloom

Testing Labs

As the place is being destroyed, the Ship containing the heroes lands on the rooftops. A Few GUN Soldiers come out and point their guns at it. the door opens and sally stands there with her hands up.

Sally: "Don't shoot!"

GUN Soldier: "Isn't that…?

GUN Soldier: "It's one of those freedom fighters."

Sally: "We have injured. We're here to help."

A squad of GUN Soldiers run up to see the princess. Espio walks out with Vector Limping. He helps him by the arms. Knuckles and Tails walk out injured ass well. Sally holds onto Tails. Knuckles walks out holding onto his bruised ribs he sustained from the behemoth on the black comet.

Sally: "Where's the president?"

Chemistry labs

President: "So doctor, that gas, what is it?"

Scientist: "The pink gas spread across the facility is a chemical compound as equal as chemical burn but a Thirty times worst. I heard it doesn't seem to Effect their kind. It stings like it's equal to fire. I heard water can wash away of it easy. Very deadly. Very fatal if breathed in heavily."

President: "Hm. Then that'll explain why most of our forces haven't been able to leave the base, nor enter it."

Abraham: "Mr. President, we have reinforcments."

The crew enter the lab.

President: "Ms. Acorn? And the you all must be the freedom fighters."

Sally: "Good to see you too Mr. president. But we need to leave now."

President: "You have an escape plan?"

Tails: "We have a ship waiting up top. We need to hurry and leave now."

President: "Sure, but wait."

Knuckles: "Huh?"

President: "Bring out all the injured. Women and children first."

A few injured men and women come out. Two kids follow as well.

Knuckles: *Grunts* "We don't got time. we need to hurry. He's on his way."

On the radio's outside of the lab can be heard fighting and screaming.

GUN Soldier: "Sir, we are under attack. The prisoner Gloom the hedgehog is attacking. Gah…! Agh! He's too powerful… No, No, please no! AHHHHHHHHHH!"

They all over hear it.

Abraham: "Mr. President. You go on ahead. I'm staying."

President: "Abraham?"

Abraham: "Mobilize Diablon."

Scientist: "But sir. It's not ready."

Abraham: "It is when I say it is. We have no other option. We must protect the president at all cost."

Knuckles: "I'm staying too."

Tails and sally are shocked to hear that.

Tails: "But knuckles. You can't stop him. not after what happened on the island. He'll kill you."

Knuckles: "It's not like I can help you guys later. I'm injured. I can buy you guys time while you all escape."

Tails: "But… Knuckles…"

The radio and comms go off again.

GUN Soldier: "Sir, if you can hear us, get out of here! He's on his way! AHHHHH!"

Knuckles: "Go, Now!"

Sally: "You heard him. C'mon."

Tails looks back at knuckles. He thumbs up at him and Tails gets the idea. He helps the others and president towards the ship. Espio hurries to the ship to start it up and get it ready. Everyone is getting to their battle stations. Getting ready for the monster that's coming.

Gloom

A body slams on the floor. The helmet rolls on the ground. He steps on the helmet crushing it into pieces. He snaps the neck he holding and dragging onto the ground. He drops the GUN Soldier and walks towards the stairs of the first floor. He looks up to see a whole lot of GUN Soldiers coming.

Gloom: "My guess. He's on the top floor. I saw the ship land. Guess it was stolen and now it's an escape. Pretty clever from the humans."

He powers up using the power of chaos from his cortex. He charges the unit through the crowd. He grabs one of the soldiers by the face and uses him as a meat shield.

Gloom: "Time to be a bullet sponge."

The gunfire and bullets drill the corpse of the GUN Soldier until he outlives his usefulness. The corpse or what's left of him falls to the ground and Gloom grabs one of the soldier's riot shields. He uses it instead and charges through with his chaos powers fast. He comes across a long corridor with a bunch of gun agents in his way. The bullets are too much for the shield to handle and gloom starts to be overwhelmed. The shield can't seem to take to much of the amount of gunfire hitting hit.

Gloom: *Grunts* "DEATH TO ALL WHO APPOSE ME!"

He starts glowing purple-ish black and he drops the shield. He chaos boost through the crowd to the other end of the hall. He leaves behind a trail of bodies and body parts flying around. He opens a door to find a claymore on the ground. It blows up leaving smoke on him. he walks from the Smoke dusting himself off. He casually walks forward seeing ten GUN agents and an elevator.

Gloom: "Out of my way."

They start firing their assault rifles at him. He grows spikes around him. The bullets break or deflect off the spike protected hedgehog. He takes his time walking and removing all obstacles and threats in his way. A GUN Soldier at the end of the hallway speaks on his microphone telling everyone upstairs what's happening.

10 seconds later

The GUN Soldiers head rolls into the elevator that opens up. Gloom walks in and picks the top floor. He goes up the lift. He thinks to himself.

Gloom: "Today has been a long day. Fuck you Despara. Fuck you Lev. And Fuck you Eggman. *Sigh* This wasn't how it was supposed to go."

The numbers go higher. He's getting there. Gloom looks down at his hands and at the rings the doctor gave him. They're Gold with a thin blue lining in the middle and around the sides Eggman's symbol. It supposed to help control his powers a bit more like Shadow's. He breathes in and out. He thinks about Maria. She would be disgusted to look at him now but he has no choice but to follow through with his orders he's been given. The elevator stops and he's on the floor Team Sonic is on.

Gloom: *Sigh* "Let's do this."

The door opens. A hallway of GUN Agents. The guns are pointed at him.

Gloom: "Where's the president?"

Rooftop

People are boarding the ship. The president enters the ship. Vector sits down next to a family. They help him out and aid him, wrapping him in bandages. Tails is co piloting the ship with Espio. Sally helps get the last people on board. Gun Shots and explosions can be heard from the inside. Sally hurries on and the door opens. Gloom jogs up and looks at the ship.

Gloom: "Hey."

Sally: "Hey."

Gloom: "It's been a while. Heard they broke you out last night."

Sally: "Yeah. and we broke sonic out as well."

Gloom: "Oh so you were in the comet. That explains the ship"

Sally: "We're just helping civilians. We don't want trouble right now."

Gloom: "I can respect that. Got any important person on board? Maybe the president of the united federation?"

Sally: "GUYS GET THIS THING IN THE AIR!"

Gloom: "Uh-uh. Hang on now."

The ship starts to lift off and Gloom hurries to get on but a fist comes from the ground. A robotic mech grabs Gloom and holds on to him. Knuckles comes up with the robot. Gloom teleports out of the robot's grasp and onto the ground away from it.

Abraham: "Get out of here! We'll handle this."

Knuckles comes from the robot.

Gloom: "Hmph, what's this?"

BOSS: DIABLON

The ship flies up. They take off away from the facility.

Gloom: "Dammit."

He unleashes a tiny black doom eye from his quill and tosses it towards the ship. It latches on and crawls on the window.

Knuckles: "Alright freak. Just you and us."

Gloom: "I don't got time for this."

He tries walking away but an energy beam from Diablon stops him. it carves past him almost hitting Gloom. He steps back knowing he's not getting out of this alive.

Abraham (Diablon): "You're not getting out of this one. This is for everyone and everything you and your kind have done today."

Gloom: "So be it."

Knuckles runs up to deliver a punch but he teleports. He appears above the robot and delivers a few chaos spears. They don't effect the robot and hit the barrier protecting it.

Gloom: "Huh?"

He decides to air spin boost into the robot. He can't touch him. He's surrounded by an impenetrable barrier. Diablon grabs hold of Gloom.

Gloom: "What the hell?"

Abraham (Diablon): "You're gonna have to do better than that?"

He pitches him off onto the training grounds.

Gloom: "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

He Slams onto the training field. Gloom looks up to see a red Echidna coming in for a punch. Gloom dodges him. Rockets are fired at him. Gloom runs for his life dodging and teleporting the missiles. Diablon comes in.

Gloom: "That robot has a protective barrier."

Knuckles runs in trying to punch Gloom. He blocks off his attacks while still looking at the robot. He grabs him by the arms and slams him into the ground. He steps over him and walks up to the mech.

Abraham (Diablon): "This'll only hurt for a second."

He swings for gloom. The barrier disappears.

Gloom: "I see."

He dodges the fist of the robot. He appears on the top of the robot's fist. He stairs blankly at it.

Abraham (Diablon): "Hey, Get Off!"

Abraham fire's a laser from the robot's face. He teleports. He appears and punches the robot's face. Diablon's laser fires across the GUN Base. Carving a scar across the battlefield. Gloom sends a swarm of spikes to him while his barrier is down. He sends swarm off attacks, fighting the mech with his bare hands. He rips out some wires and tubes from it. the barrier comes back in. Gloom backs off.

Abraham (Diablon): "Hold still you little bastard!"

Gloom teleports away. A squad of GUN Soldiers come in to aid Abraham. He fights off the force trying to kill him. He sends spikes and chaos spears towards the incoming Soldiers and the one's attacking him.

Gloom: "Knowing all the stuff Maria talked about Humanity and the lengths they would go. She was right. Humans. Very mysterious creatures."

The ground starts to shake. Gloom looks down and remembers what that red echidna can do. He doesn't dodge it but instead smashes the ground. He reaches down and grabs knuckles out. Knuckles tries to punch him but Gloom blocks it. He punches knuckles hard but not hard enough to send him flying.

Knuckles: "AGH! Ahhh…!"

Gloom: "You're already beaten. Stand down. You're not going to win this battle."

Knuckles: *Spits blood on the ground* "Maybe not. But I can still buy time."

A robot enters the Battlefield. A robot that's familiar.

Omega: "TARGET AQUIRED. PROJECT GLOOM. CAPTURE OR KILL. I VOTE KILL, LAST TIME WE DID THAT, DID NOT WORK OUT. HAND CANNON READY."

Omega transforms his fist into a small miniature minigun. He aims for Gloom.

Gloom: "You gotta be fucking kidding me."

Gloom runs away. Diablon sends a laser towards him.

Gloom: "This is starting to piss me off."

He teleports behind Omega. Omega sends a claw towards gloom. He gets slashed across the neck.

Gloom: "Shit."

He delivers a punch onto Omega. He tries to do what he originally did to omega the first time they fought but he couldn't rip out his power core. It hurts his hand.

Gloom: "OW!"

Omega: "Systems upgraded. Activating taser mode."

Gloom: "taser?"

A slot opens up on him. three wires with pointy ends jolt into gloom. Gloom feels over 2000 electric jolts running through him.

Gloom: "GGGGGGGGGHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGG-G-G-G-G-GG-G—G-G!"

He falls to the ground. Diablon, omega, and knuckles walk towards him.

Abraham (Diablon): "Time to pay."

Gloom looks up. his vision hazy. Diablon has his fist ready. He balls it up. Gloom gets his energy back. Diablon swings down but Gloom catches it. He's implanted into the ground. He holds the strong force of the heavy weight of the metal hands of the giant mech.

Abraham (Diablon): "Huh?"

Gloom: *grunts* "I will… Complete my mission!"

He teleports above. He appears Above omega. He slams him into the ground. His feat go in first implanted. His upper buddy can still move. He tries to move out of the ground, but Gloom smashes off his left arm. Knuckles runs to swing on him but Gloom uses Omegas arm to back hand him. Knuckles gets sent away.

Abraham (Diablon): "Why you… Hold still!"

He brings out missiles from it's back and fires at him. Gloom runs and homing boost on three of them. He decides to lead the last one towards Diablon. He tries to swing on Gloom but he misses. The missile hits the barrier. It knocks down the shield.

Gloom: "Gotcha."

He runs up to the head of the mech. He hops on top of ripping the head off the Robot with his bare hands. Gloom can see the inside of it.

Gloom: "Hello."

Abraham: "Hmph. You think this is over? ANTIMATTER CANNON SELF DESTRUCT DIABLON!"

The mech starts powering up. Blue light starts charging up. electricity starts to surge around the robot. Abraham pulls the escape module in the mech. He flies out from the top making gloom fall back. He flies away on his rocket seat. Far away enough not to be caught in the explosion.

Gloom: "Oh that's not good."

Diablon: "Self destruct sequence in 5"

Gloom: "Shit!"

Gloom hurries and runs for his life. He runs fast past omega who is still trying to get out of the ground.

Diablon: "4

Omega: "Large energy mass detected. Diablon self destruct sequence has been initiated."

He turns his head around to see Gloom running. He notices Knuckles walking towards them limping.

Omega: "Must protect Ally. Knuckles."

Diablon: "3"

The black hedgehog runs fast and notices Knuckles walking towards the direction. He pays no attention to the injured red menace and passes him up.

Knuckles: "Get back here…We're… We're not done."

Diablon: "2"

Omega manages to get out from the ground and runs for knuckles. He turns around to see a giant robot with one arm running for him.

Knuckles: "Huh."

Omega grabs him.

Omega: "Hold on."

He activates his rocket's and flies in the air.

Diablon: "1"

The antimatter cannon activates. The explosion expands more than 800 yards. Gloom runs fast like sonic and escapes the explosion. Omega flies but is unable to escape the blast radius. He protects knuckles and is heavily damaged in the air. His rockets on his feet go out.

Omega: "The Robotniks will pay for their twisted minds for making weapons of mass destruction. Including gloom."

He falls down somewhere leaving a trail of smoke behind in the inner city. Meanwhile Gloom is sitting in a garden on a balcony looking at the ruin city and the battle still being waged.

Gloom: "Now, where did they go?"

He crawls inside his head making a connection to the doom eye he tossed onto the black arm ship Team Sonic hijacked. He controls the movements of the eye and he gets a good look inside from the window.

Ship

A few doctors are tending ton the injured. The scientist contemplate about what's going to happen after today. Tails is flying the ship, taking the spot espio was doing. Espio sits next to vector. He meditates in his head while vector start's to regain his energy.

Vector: "This war. Bad for business."

Espio: "Our numbers are suffering crushing blows. We did succeed into getting here and helping."

Vector: "Yet, we got our asses handed to us."

Espio: "Admittedly, shamefully yes. Charmy should be okay."

Vector: "I only hopes so. That kid got himself out of worst situations."

Espio: *Sigh*

Vector: "You thinking about Aliese?"

Espio: "…Yes."

Vector: "Wonder what the people around the world are thinking right now?"

Espio: "Terrified, Shocked, Surprised?"

Vector: "Readying their defenses."

Espio: "I would. I hope my mother and clan are alright."

Vector: "Most likely. I didn't hear it as a worldwide attack. Only the federation."

Espio: "I guess it would be a grudge against only the GUN since…"

He senses something. He looks around.

Vector: "You sensing something?"

Espio: "Wait…"

He looks around trying to spot whatever it is. Gloom's eye gets out the way.

Gloom: "I seen what that guy can do. Need to stay out of his sight."

His eye crawls. The wind makes it hard to move. He crawls around the ship. He takes the best routes and stays away from the windows. He tries to crawl for the windshield.

Sally

She sits next to the president.

Sally: "So what's going to happen?"

President: "I'm calling it in. I need aid from the united nations. I'll contact them from the white house and head to one of our neighbor nations. Who, I don't know. My daughter needs me first."

Sally: "You have a daughter waiting for you?"

President: "Told her to stay at the palace until things get cleared."

Sally: "Well guess we're gonna need a bigger ship. Cause I don't know what we're gonna do about all these people."

Sally pulls out her phone.

Sally: "Nicole. Contact elias."

Nicole: "Calling now, sally."

Mobotropolis

Acorn palace

Elias

He gets a phone call on his phone. He's in a circular room made for the meeting of the united nations that is about to commence. He gets the phone call.

Elias: "Sis is that you?"

Sally: "I'm here. How's everything in mobotropolis?"

Elias: "Not that great, but we got everything under control."

Sally: "Good to know. Look we have the president in our hands. We need help. Any assistance at the presidential palace. An escape for him and us."

Elias: "I'll send freedom fighters up there to help."

Sally: "Thanks. Hurry, a certain hedgehog is trying to kill us."

She hangs up.

President: "It amazes me, to what Gerald Robotnik was up to up there on the ark."

Sally: "Why didn't you people prepare? Why did you shut down the project all those years ago?"

President: "We lived in a different time. Era where we didn't learn from our mistakes. My guess is they tried to cover it all up so the public won't panic. We knew what Gerald and his accomplices were up to up there. We just didn't think aliens from the deep darkness of space would invade."

Sally: "The mess and damage it caused. Guess some things just can't be hidden and buried forever."

President: "If only we were ready for this. Never would imagine they would rise again."

Sally: "No one didn't."

Espio walks by and stares around.

Sally: "Everything okay espio?"

Espio: "Get ready. We're not alone."

Sally gets the idea. She stands up.

Sally: "Stay here."

Gloom eye

It crawls towards the windshield.

Gloom: "I only got one shot. Gotta channel my energy towards the exact spot."

He stands in the garden balcony. A woman comes out to see who it is. She has a pistol ready.

Woman: "Who are you?"

Gloom concentrates controlling the Gloom eye.

Ship

The yellow fox flies the pilot seat. He focuses on the flight while his rips still hurt.

Tails: "Man. That big guy did a number on us."

He overhears the chatter in the back until Espio walks up.

Tails: "Hey Espio. What's going on?"

Espio: "Continue flying. Get this thing close to the ground."

Tails: "I can't do that. So many battles down there. Not to mention the explosions."

Espio: "Just get us down. We're not alone."

Tails does exactly that. He flies low. Not anything going wrong yet. Espio looks back at the crowd and the two other main mobians on the ship aside from him and Tails. He scans the ship. No one particularly that's not allowed on the ship. He can hear small moving or flapping like something crawling on the ship.

Tails: "What the heck?"

Espio turns around to see what tails is seeing. A Doom eye watching. It's crawling on the windshield and dead center.

Espio: "Oh no… BRACE YOURSELVES!"

5 Seconds before

Gloom

Gloom: "There! Now's my chance."

Woman: "Who are you? chance of what?"

Gloom looks back to see a the lady with a pistol.

Gloom: "Sorry lady, Government business."

He teleports away leaving the woman confused. He teleports in midair. Espio see's him. he breaks through the glass of the windshield and pummels Espio in the back. They all notice and take cover, wondering if they're being attacked.

Everyone: *Screaming*

Tails: "Ahh, this wind!"

He notices the door open and he can't leave the pilot seat. He grabs the door and closes it. they're all alone back there with Gloom.

Sally: "Is everyone okay?"

He is standing on top of Espio. Gloom scans the back cargo and notices over 15 humans on the ship. He picks up Espio's blade and unsheathes it. He holds it above his face.

Gloom: "Nobody move."

Everyone notices Gloom. He has espio pinned. Everyone is shocked and surprised. Gloom puts his focus on the president.

Gloom: "You're the president?"

President: "I am."

Gloom: "I need you alive.'

President: "You must be the so called Gloom the hedgehog."

Gloom: "Don't wear it out. We're going to the white house."

President: "For what?"

Gloom: "You're going to fire the wrath of the sun."

President: "Not going to happen."

Gloom: "Oh I think you will."

President: "I can't just give you the codes."

Gloom: "I know. That's why you're going to target the places we want hit."

President: "If it's cities and other nations, you can just forget it."

Gloom: "Penelope is waiting for you at the white house."

The presidents heart stops.

President: "If you laid a finger on her-"

Gloom: "You will fire the satellites."

President: "To where?"

Gloom: "You'll find out."

In the cockpit, Tails is finding it hard to keep the ship on a stable flight pattern. Plus the wind is making it kinda hard for him. Stuff and paper brush onto his face. The ship suffers a minor turbulence. The ship shakes with the people on it. Most people almost trip minus Gloom.

Gloom: "Seems the ship is suffering a few hits. Or it could be that the pilot sucks."

Sally: "You did just burst in."

Gloom: "I know."

President: "So kid, Dr. Robotnik created you?"

Gloom: "That's right."

President: "I assume you're a clone of Shadow."

Gloom: "Backwards. He's a clone of me."

President: "So you knew the granddaughter of his, Maria?"

Gloom: "More than that. I loved her."

President: "Is this who this is about?"

Gloom stares blankly at the president as he speaks.

Sally: "Listen, I understand this is your revenge and but this is taking it too far."

Gloom: "Idiots."

He drops the sword. He gets off espio.

Gloom: "Tell the kid to land this thing at the white house."

Espio grabs his kitana.

Sally: "I doubt he'll actually do it."

Gloom: "Even if he doesn't they know where we are. I'm not going to kill anyone here but I will tell them where we are and they will shoot this ship out of the air. I assure you I will survive. I will ensure the presidents survival. Is that something you want to challenge? We can stand in this place all day and won't make a difference."

Vector: "He's right."

Everyone looks back at vector. He stands up holding his arm.

Vector: "At this point we're basically his hostages. We can't go anywhere else too far otherwise he'll tell his black arm buddies to come and get us. Not like we have a choice at this point. Even if he could kill everyone in here if he wanted to."

Sally is shocked to hear it. They all look at each other. Espio puts his blade back into its sheath.

Espio: "He's right. There's no way out."

Sally hates to admit it but agrees. She walks towards the door. She opens it.

Sally: "Tails, honey?"

Tails: "Yeah."

Sally: "Continue towards the white house. Land it."

Tails: "Is he still back there?"

Sally: "Yes."

He lets out a sigh. He understands the predicament they're in.

Tails: "Guess we came this far for nothing?"

Sally: "Not fully. We did save Sonic."

Tails: "Yeah. We did."

He continues forward towards the direction of the presidential palace.

Sally walks back in.

Gloom: "Finally."

He stands back and sits down. He puts his head in between his legs sitting down. A scientist with a gun approaches him. Everyone is silent and Espio knows. he stops him, grabbing his hand.

Scientist: ?

Espio shakes his head. The man gets the idea. He doesn't even try it. Sally looks out a window and notices something moving fast in the city. It has a blue streak. She gets an idea and activates her other ring blade she still has. She puts the light as close to the window as possible.

Sonic

He scurries through the city helping the GUN in the battle. He helps civilians and others. He beats and defeats a few squadrons of black arms, while he continues straight for the white house. The place is a big battlefield. The GUN on the inner city is managing to push the aliens back. He goes up on a roof top and looks around.

Sonic: "Gotta find the white house. Let's see that's Dallas road which will lead me to…Huh?"

He looks up in the air and notices a blue glowing light flickering in a ship. He remembers what it looks like. It's an exact resemblance.

Sonic: "Hang on guys, I'm coming."

He jumps on a powerline and grinds with his boost powers. He jumps on a freeway and follows the ship down the road. Parkour his way through the ruin city, taking out all who stand in his way. He dodges laser and bullet fire of the black aliens. In the sky, giant energy beams fall upon the city.

Sonic: "Woah!"

He dodges the lasers from space that silver and the gang must've been able to set off from westopolis.

Sonic: "Okay. This is nothing new for you. You got this Sonic. You got this. Hang on guys."

He jumps onto rooftops and runs through alleys still following the ship. He makes it to the palace grounds around a park. He runs fast past the monuments, statues and memorials.

He runs down a long body of water. The presidents park. He skids past the water and makes it to the grass. A few Black arm guards come out to put him down but sonic using his super speed takes them down. The ship comes in lower. Sonic waves his hands and see's his best buddy piloting the ship. He gives a thumbs up.

Sonic: *Laughs* "There's my favorite crew."

The door opens. Sally steps out first along with Espio.

Sonic: "Yo, so what happened? How's things going? Why the long faces?"

A mob of people walk out, some helping vector out. Tails enters the back and goes out the same door they're going. Gloom stands up. The president walks out.

Sonic: "Ayyy. Saving the president. Nice."

Tails waits for Gloom. He stands out with the dark hedgehog behind him.

Sonic: *Shock*

Gloom: "Nice to see you too, Blue Bastard."
