After Sally's return and witnessing Sonic, the love of her life kissing her, Amy fights her inner demons to find out what she really wants. A certain Red and Black hedgehog might help her in the conflict. Meanwhile, Shadow might face a certain relative from the ark that's spreading terror and havoc in Maria's name. Based from the Shadamy comic Ternion made by Hellody.

61. Chapter 61: Fall of the Federation

Chapter 61: Fall of the federation

It's dark. he starts to come to. his vision blurry. His face hurts. He sees a blur of Amy and Sally right above him helping him. he can hear voices. Voices of other people.

Amy: "Sonic?"

His head hurts. He tries to get up but it hurts to move.

Sonic: *moaning*

He wakes up to see himself sitting on a couch. He gets up rubbing his head and looks at the both.

Sally: "Are you okay?"

Amy brushes past Sally and hugs sonic close.

Sonic: "H-hey… ow. What are you-"

Amy: *Sobbing*

She squeezes him hard. She holds onto him as tighter than she ever did. Sally stares and is shocked.

Sonic: "Ow… w-what hap… Oh.?"

He starts to remember what happened. Gloom had her by the arm. She was protecting him. he looks at sally.

Sonic: "Are you okay?"

Sally: "I-im fine. I'm just glad you're okay."

She wipes tears from her eyes knowing Sonic's okay. Sonic looks back towards amy.

Sonic: "Hey ames, Hugging me too tight."

Amy: "I'll never let go."

Sonic: "So what happened?"

Amy gets up rubbing her face. She looks towards sonic who's hurt. his eye swollen. Vision is blurry.

Sally: "How do you feel?"

Sonic: "Broken, all around my body."

He tries to getting up but can't.

Amy: "Don't move. You're not in a good condition to."

Sonic doesn't get up but looks around. in the white house. A bunch of people.

Sonic: "Where's Gloom?"

Sally and Amy look at each other.

With Shadow, Gloom, and Terios.

They sit outside near the destroyed garden Shadow and Terios fought. They're all silent. Not sure what to say next. Shadow sit's in the middle between them. he has so much to ask but can't really express how to ask.

Shadow: …

Gloom: …

Terios: …

Quiet amongst them and birds chirping. Explosions far away are commencing.

Gloom: "Right now I bet you have a lot of questions that need to be answered?"

Shadow glares at him from the side of his eye. He looks at gloom who takes out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. He takes one out and raises it to his lips. He lights the other end and starts smoking.

Gloom: "Smoke?"

He offers Shadow and Terios one but they both deny it by not grabbing one. he gets the message and puts it back in his pocket. He looks at them.

Shadow: "Any more of us out there?"

Gloom looks over to shadow.

Gloom: "No. Well at least to my knowledge. It should be only us three.

Shadow: "Good enough. So uhhh Terios right? who gave you that name?"

Gloom: "It was me who gave him that name. Means reflection of. Or mirror."

Shadow: "So, do you know where you came from?"

Terios: "Gloom told me."

Shadow: "Everything?"

Gloom: "Not everything. Just that part."

They all go silent for a moment watching the flowers and the garden.

Gloom: "This world is beautiful as I remembered."

Shadow: "Yep, but you're burning it down."

Gloom: "Hey, this wasn't my idea whatsoever. They were planning this long before I came into the picture."

Shadow: "That would explain a lot."

They go into silent ambience again with the rumbling out in the distance. Terios has a question.

Terios: "May I ask you both something?"

Gloom: "Shoot."

Shadow: "Go on ahead."

Terios: "Who is Maria?"

Gloom and Shadow don't say a word for a good ten seconds. Shadow looks at gloom.

Shadow: "You didn't tell him that, did you?"

Gloom: "Only talked about her once."

Terios: "You talk about her a lot. Even in your sleep."

Gloom: "I think there may have been times I said her name without me noticing I do."

Shadow: *chuckles*

Gloom: "I don't even know where to begin, but-"

Shadow: "She was our mother. Our teacher. Our guardian angel."

Gloom: "She was everything I wanted to be."

Terios: "Where is she?"

Shadow doesn't know how to answer that one. He remembers what happen. He decides to put it in simple terms that Terios could understand or translate.

Shadow: "She uhh… she's…"

Gloom: "She's dead."

They both look at gloom enjoying the smoothness of the smoking. He holds the cyon emerald in his hand from defeating Sonic. Looking at it he can remember her laughter and it fades out. He looks back to the two clones of him.

Gloom: "You're actually a clone T."

Terios: "Clone?"

Shadow: "No you're not. Clone means copy. The three of us are not exactly the same."

Gloom: "Oh be real, you really believe we are not clones. Weapons of war? That's what Geralds intentions were when he created us. Our biological father knew Geralds motives."

Shadow: "His intention was to create and help fix Maria's disease."

Gloom: "I still wonder to this day what disease she had?"

Terios: "She was sick?"

Shadow: "Something like it."

Terios: "I understand."

Gloom: "No you don't."

Terios: "Huh?"

Shadow: "Cool it Gloom."

Gloom: "That's not what killed her. That's all I'm going to say."

They go silent for a moment.

Terios: "You were right about the pink hedgehog. She's beautiful in person."

Shadow: "You been telling him about Amy?"

Gloom: "Why not?"

Shadow: "Do you have something for her?"

Gloom: "I know you do. We're connected remember? I can see almost everything you do if I choose to look."

Shadow: "Soooooo…"

Gloom: "Back on the island? In the village? In the lodge? I saw a fraction of you and her. Gotta say, I congratulate you on beating me to it."

Terios: "Huh?"

Gloom: "You'll know another time."

Shadow: "Oh man… *Sigh* I am so sorry Amy."

Shadow blushes and rubs his hand in his face. They go quiet for a few seconds.

Shadow: "So what's going to happen?"

Gloom: "Can't tell you just yet. Me and the president did negotiate for terms of surrender."

Shadow: "So it's over right?"

Gloom: "Only for the united federation. our mission wasn't to just invade and destroy the united federation. It was to just cripple it and use their technology."

Shadow: "What technology?"

Gloom: "I see it."

He stares out blankly into the sky. Beam of lights coming down and destroying the city piece by piece. Shadow looks at him and stares out. Shadow see's the beams of lights. He knows what they are. Their space lasers.

Shadow: "Where are you going to target them?"

Gloom: "Nowhere that'll cause anymore casualties. Hopefully."

Shadow: "That's what I like about you. you're always the bright side of things."

Gloom: "Meh, I get that naturally from Maria."

He blows smoke out of his mouth.

Shadow: "Terios do you remember anything from our battle?"

Terios: "It's a little hazy but it's all coming together slowly."

Gloom: "I'm surprised you didn't go beast mode too shadow. I was pretty sure one of you was gonna be dead if you guys fought."

Shadow: "You were hoping, he killed me?"

Gloom: "No, I just haven't seen his true power yet. How did he fought?"

Shadow: "Like us. Like a savage beast hungry and desperate for his kill."

Gloom: "Hm. I assume his muscles grew? Eyes turn hazy yellow? Venomous teeth?"

Shadow: "Like on the island. And like you."

Gloom: "Hehe wonder which out of us three is stronger?"

Shadow: "It's me."

Gloom: "No it's hands down me. Had more training and time plus I'm the cunning one."

Shadow: "You're the prototype of both of us. Superior skill, control and motivation."

Terios: "To be fair, if memory serves me correct you had a hard time keeping up with me Shadow so, speed, tactical, and versatile."

Shadow: "Yet I defeated you."

Terios: "Using the blade of the blue hedgehogs and water to your advantage."

Shadow: "Yeah but you still lost so."

Gloom: "If both of you can actually reach your true potential then we can talk about this. It's definitely me."

Shadow: "Heh, whatever."

He finishes smoking his tobacco and puts it out on the ground, twisting and turning it in the concrete. He stands up stretching and a black arm guard walks to him. He kneels down with his right arm on his knee.

Black arm guard: "Forgive my interruption my lords."

Shadow: "Hmph, does that include me as well?"

Gloom: "Yes but he means us. Yes?"

Black arm Guard: "Lady Despara is on her way here in thirty minutes."

Gloom: "Good. I oughtta bash her skull in next for this."

Shadow: "Despara?"

Gloom: "I'm telling you right now, DO NOT get on her bad side. As a matter of fact she wants me to kill you. And everyone you know"

Shadow: "Why?"

Gloom: "You killed her master. Black Doom? She vows vengeance on you."

Shadow: "Shit."

Gloom: "But don't worry you're safe with me. I'll keep you safe for as long as I can."

Shadow: "As possible?"

Gloom: "I can accomplish that but can promise nothing. Lets go see what's going on in there. And what they got to eat?"

He walks in with Shadow and gloom following. Terios walks by himself limping with blitz in its sheath. The broken blade all used up to the fullest is out of commission for now. They walk through the halls having sights of the destroyed palace. They walk through holes that the trio made while fighting. People injured. They cross by one dead body covered in a sheet with his legs poking out. Gloom stares while almost walking by him.

Gloom: "Sorry man, wasn't aiming for you."

Shadow: "Dammit G."

Gloom: "What? That hedgehog started it."

A lot of black arms and People stare at the trio. Some get scared and cower behind walls or chairs. They pass by a bar and it collapses.

Gloom: "Wasn't me."

Terios: "Why are they staring at us? They seem scared."

Shadow: "Well we did lay waste to a historical monument and made a mess unimaginable. So yeah who wouldn't be?"

Gloom: "I'll tell you right now, just like us he lacks social etiquette. He has never really been around people unlike us but doesn't talk unless it's me."

Shadow: "ah."

They pass by paintings.

Terios: "So much for these poor paintings."

Gloom: "Guy likes art. He loves drawing a lot."

Shadow: "Same."

He continues walking. While staring at the last presidents and historical events. They come across the hallway where Sonic and gloom fought in the dome room. The janitor's are sweeping and cleaning the way. One has a cigarette in his mouth but can't seem to know what happened to his lighter. Gloom pulls one out for him and lights it.

Janitor: "Gracias mi amigo."

Gloom: "Denada. Also im not your friend."

Shadow: "Taking up Spanish?"

Gloom: "There is this one guy in the black arms I'm learning from. He's quite the gentlemen."

Shadow: "Hmph, seems like a nice guy to me."

Terios: "Uhhh Shadow?"

Gloom: "Don't you say a fucking word. I want to see his reaction."

Terios: "Sorry."

They turn left to see the doctor staring at the tv. An egg ship outside in the front lands for him with orbot and cubot. The egg emperor comes down and awaits further orders on standby.

Gloom: "Yo doc?"

Dr. Eggman: "So I guess your little reunion is over."

Gloom: "No, we still got time before we're all enemies again."

Dr. Eggman: "Good. And lady crazy tramp is on her way?"

Gloom: "Indeed so."

Shadow: "Why am I not surprise you're the grand scheme behind all this? Should've left you back on that damn island."

Dr. Eggman: "Close but no. These people were planning way longer before I came along. I have to say, this exceeded my expectations."

Shadow: "So what happened then?"

Terios walks past them.

Terios: "I'll be in the bathroom."

Dr. Eggman: "You see when Gloom escaped on the island the black arms made their move when they saw him."

Gloom: "Made it back to the city I once terrorized. They traced me and made contact. Once I saw the doom eye, that's when I knew I wasn't alone. They brought me up to the elites and fidured I would be the solution into bringing order and justice to the humans. They were right but I couldn't do it just yet. I needed to get the emeralds first. Plan our next move. Met up with the doctor and he was starting to be intrigued by all this."

Shadow: "You do realize he's got you in the palm of his hands."

Gloom: "Like he did you? nothing new over here."

Dr. Eggman: "They invited me to their grand meeting, and so I listened. They wanted to cripple their arch nemesis. Take out their very base of communications. GUN Fortress. And with the president along they figured to they make him an example. I had a better idea. We keep alive long enough to trigger the satellites. We can fire whoever and whatever we want to. As long as it's not us."

Shadow: "So where are you firing these things at?"

Dr. Eggman: "That is above my pay grade. Even though I'm not being paid, well at least not just yet."

Gloom: "She wrote down specific locations around the world that must be hit. Our contacts are waiting for their orders there."

Shadow: "Contacts?"

Gloom: "Our men, groups, mercenaries. Whoever hired who or got hired that are fit for the job. All I have are these coordinates."

He pulls out the slips of paper. He hands them to the doctor.

Dr. Eggman: "*chuckles under his breath* "Hey didn't you say you had an operation near the catacombs of spagonia?"

Gloom: "For the worlds smartest genius, you say that out loud in front of the risk standing before us."

Dr. Eggman: "So what? He'll just follow us to his own doom anyway."

Shadow: *mumbles silently* "Oh Maria, why did you jump in front of me, I would've rather been dead if knew I was going to deal the two of this."

Gloom: "And yeah. my men can't breach inside of it if we do."

Dr. Eggman: "Hmph, and that's located… oh it all makes sense then. And you're sure they hid it there?"

Shadow: "Hid what?"

Gloom: "Don't worry about it."

Terios

He walks through some destroyed debris. He goes down the hallway passing people that stare at him.

Man 1: "It's him."

Man 2: "Nah he looks different."

GUN Soldier 1: "Hey fellas look, It's that freak that started this."

GUN Soldier 2: "You sure that's him, he looks different now."

GUN Soldier 1: "Eyes, hair, it's gotta be him."

GUN Soldier 3: "I wouldn't say that out loud man. You'll piss him off."

He limps quietly towards one of them and ask.

GUN Soldier 2: *gulp* "It's uhhh, down the hall near the study area."

Terios: "Thank you."

He limps away towards the direction he pointed. The 4 men sigh in relief. A little girl drops a toy tiger in the middle of the hallway. He starts getting a flashback. A memory when he was in the jungle. An old friend. Lightning flashes him back to reality and she walks out to grab it but notices the hedgehog standing before her. She runs away from him. Terios looks down at the doll and picks it up. he carries it along the way and looks for the girls direction. He doesn't know where she ran off to but decides to hold onto it. he walks in hearing chattering. He sees the bathroom doors. He walks towards them and tries to open one. its locked. He shackles the handle trying to open it.

Sally: "That's the women's restroom and it's in use right now."

The mystery blushes. He doesn't understand the signs on the doors. He looks back to see who said it. he stares blankly at them all. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Omega, Sally, Amy, Espio, Vector. He looks at Amy and Sonic. They all stare back at him. That whole section of the white house is quiet staring blankly at Terios. He looks confused and a bit watched so he enters the other bathroom. He locks the door.

Relaxation, play if you choose

He sits down on the toilet seat. He takes off his army one by one. His bruises still hurt. he takes off his chest plating and shirt. He notices black stuff and a shift of his green lining has moved around in his chest. Like shadows has but it's his first experience. A pain surges through him and he yelps trying his best to keep it down. he turns the water on. He splashes his face and drinks a handful of it. he takes the blade of his back wrapped in a strap he made and checks it. he tries activating it but doesn't seem to respond with only a little spark of electricity flowing around it and shocking his hand. He drops the sword and picks it up. A knock comes to the door.

Man: "Hey buddy. Any chance you can hurry up in there? Natures calling."

He understands. He puts the blade back in the sheet and scoots all the damaged pieces of his armor away in a corner. He keeps his shoes on. He looks at the reflection in the mirror and stairs at himself. He walks towards the door and opens it. The scoots past him.

Man: "Thank you."

He closes the door. Everyone stops whispering and stares at him. They all don't say it but stair blankly at the middle of his chest. Amy and a few others remember the markings related to shadow on the island and ark. He starts walking towards them. they all stare and watch blankly as he approaches them with the sword. Omega's torn arm and face from the landing.

Omega: "Combat mode ready."

Terios looks at the beaten robot and prepares to unleash blitz again.

Rouge: "Stand down Omega. That won't be necessary."

Omega: "Understood."

Terios stands down and sits on the couch across from Sonic, Amy, and Sally.

Amy: "Hi."

Terios: …

Amy: "Do you have a name?"

Terios: "Terios."

Sonic: "huh, why do they always give you a dark edgy name?"

Amy pinches his bruised leg.

Sonic: "Ow okay."

He stares at sonic.

Sonic: "Hey that blade. isn't that?"

Terios unsheathes it.

Tails: "Hey isn't that your sword."

Terios looks at it. Admiring it and he looks at the damage he caused and puts it back in. he hands it back to it's rightful owner.

Sonic: "Thanks. Hey aren't you? No way, it was you this whole time. back on the comet."

He smiles and shakes his head.

Sonic: "Geez man you did a number on blitz. So you're the long lost third from the ark. You've been alive this whole entire time."

Rouge: "So how was Shadow?"

Terios: "He was nice."

Amy: "Do you know where you come from?"

Terios: "Yes."

Rouge: "Is that yours?"

She points at the stuffed tiger.

Terios: "No."

Amy: "You don't seem to be anything like these people. Why are you helping them?"

Terios: …

Sonic: "She's right. We think you're on the wrong side. Why not join us?"

Terios: "I can't abandon Gloom."

Sonic: "I get it. Family?"

Terios: "Not just that."

Amy: "Then what?"

Terios: "You all wouldn't understand."

Tails: "Hey. Pono tibi loqui lingua quoque?"

Terios: "Quod sic. An niger invalida est iam nunc?"

Knuckles: "Huh?"

Tails: "It's their language. I've been studying it."

Sonic: "Not bad."

Terios: "Heus, flavo unum. Quid habes huc illucque discurrerent?"

Tails: *Blushes* "Uhh. Eram cum illis. I was born different."

Sonic: "What did he ask?"

Tails: "Nothing."

Gloom and Shadow walk in. Everyone goes silent. Shadow walks by and sits next to terios. Sonic notices Gloom and a sense of rage builds in him for a sec. he remembers what happened to him and what he was going to do to sally. He balls his fist up. Gloom walks up and sits to the right of Shadow like how they were sitting outside. Everyone is quiet. Gloom decides to break the dead silent.

Gloom: "They found him in the jungles near adabat. He lived isolated for years until black doom found him but kept him secret up until now."

Terios look changes. He looks mad. He glares to gloom and so does shadow.

Gloom: "What? That's what happened. Did I miss anything?"

Amy: "Do you feel satisfied? Are you proud of yourself?"

Gloom: "What do you mean?"

Amy: "This, all of this?"

Gloom: "Not my plan."

Sonic: "Where's the doctor? I got a bone to pick with him."

He tries sitting up but can't.

Amy: "You're still hurt, you can't move."

Shadow: "What happened to you?"

Gloom: *Snickers*

Sonic sits up and looks at gloom.

Gloom: "How are your scars?"

Sonic: "I had worst."

He starts to sit up and have a better angle at the trio.

Sonic: "Man. It's looking at a mirror."

Gloom: "Except I'm the better looking one."

Amy: *Giggling*

Sally goes into Sonic's ear.

Sally: *whisper* "He reminds me a little like you."

Sonic: "Except I'm the better version."

Sally: "Yeah. You sure are."

Gloom feels a surge in his head. Terios feels it too.

Gloom: "You still got the emeralds?"

Shadow: "Oh, looking for these?"

He pulls out the two he got from beating Terios.

Gloom: "So you got four. I have two. Despara still has hers. Yeah, that makes all seven."

Shadow: "Who's Despara?"

Gloom: "Don't even get me started with her."

Sonic: "Oh no. Not her."

Gloom: "You met her?"

Sonic: "I wish I didn't."

He remembers back on the comet of her burning his precious chili dogs.

Gloom: "I assume she got under your skin first, made you feel comfortable, and tortured you with that same thing."

Sonic: "Yes. And she tried to kill us."

Knuckles: "Sounds like my type of woman."

Rouge pinches his injured leg.

Knuckles: "OW!"

Gloom: "The person who's coming is, how should I say this? Into some kinky shit I don't want to understand or think about understanding aside the fact we served the same person. She's sadistic."

Shadow: "Guess I'll get to meet her."

Gloom: "You will. She's on her way with that last emerald."

Sonic: "Jackpot."

He looks at shadow. Shadow looks at Sonic. Gloom looks at both of them gathering pieces of the puzzle together.

Gloom: "So, what happens if all seven of these babies come together?"

Shadow: *Chuckles* "I don't even know how to describe it.

Knuckles: "A miracle unlike anything you've ever seen."

Amy: "It's beautiful."

Shadow: "And it holds power. A lot of it."

Gloom: "Hmph. I can imagine. Say, do you still have those black arm jars on you?"

Shadow pulls them out. Both of the black and dark red magma matter looking ones. He got from Geralds asteroid and the comet that burned in rail canyon.

Gloom: "I'll let you keep those emeralds if you hand them over."

Shadow: "Tempting offer. You haven't really explained what these do."

Gloom: "Since the dawn of our species, we were forged into the darkness of the universe. We survived and shaped the way of void."

He sticks his hand out and shows something spontaneous. A circular void. It's like a miniature black hole but different. It looks like the giant portal that he spewed up the day they all first met him.

Amy: "That looks like the portal we were all sucked into. Remember?"

Flashback to chapter 2

Gloom: "We're the cleaners of the universe. Having powers to shape and rearrange worlds around us. We thrived on a different world far from this place. We discovered dark magic. Matter incomprehensible. We found ways to make things better. Helping the sick. Healing. Ways to bring back the fallen or deceased. We tried going to different worlds, helping those in need. Protecting and living amongst them. But like the average parasite, it always needs more. Some societies out there did get out of hand with our gifts. A lot of wars were waged. But we always found a way to make it right and if not well. We fixed the problem. I've been to different planets. Beautiful planets. Beautiful people, but maria was always on my mind and you. I never lost hope to see you all again. sometimes we were too far out to make contact but I figured it out. (Doom eye)"

He forms a little doom eye from the portal and flies it around happily. It comes down near Amy and it lies on her hand standing.

Amy: "How many worlds have you been to?"

Gloom: "I honestly stopped counting because all I could think about were them. It was a long isolating experience until the day I found out what happened. My father showed me."

Shadow: "Oh yeah."

Both remembering Maria's death.

Gloom: "Like I said bro. I'm always watching. Always keeping an eye on you."

Sonic: "So did you assimilate these worlds?"

Gloom: "That depends. There are some worlds the way we scatter across the universe that needed our helped. We always answered. I mean that's what father did with Gerald Robotnik. They thought it was a distress signal at first but come to find they been to this planet before and in the past. Always something coming up but we did figure it out."

Knuckles: "Woah, woah, woah, woah, wait. Your kind minus all those years ago has been to this planet a lot of times before in the past."

Gloom: "Yeah. we circled this area from time to time. Checking it out seeing if it was habitable or if we can use it for ourselves. We also checked on the planets history. See any wars, resolve, solutions were able to be made. A lot of times we get sick and overwhelmed trying to fix the same problem and come to terms with it so we uh… heh heh. We use the planet and it's people as fuel source or for something useful and better."

All except the three: "WHAT?"

Shadow remembers the exact words black doom said back in shadow the hedgehog.

Flashback

Black Doom: "We're here to save them from themselves… With our perfect order… Allowing them to live through their desperate lives in peace… Humans are a great energy source for us… they will be well kept."

Flashback ends

Shadow: "Oh my god. Black doom was telling the truth."

Gloom: "You think? With you destroying and defeating black doom you caused us all to fall apart without our leader. He made a plan b if it all goes bad but we couldn't move forward with our forces dismantled and our people divided. Most of us still chose to follow the way we were meant to be and went into hiding. Others decided to live amongst you until the time was right. it worked out. But after studying that this planet has been in parrel over and over I say the timing was right when the doctor released me. When he had me brainwashed all those years ago. I've been so far away from home. I waited a long, long time thinking and dreaming I'd be back on the ark again. finally. I got to see you. I kinda made a bad first impression during those days."

Amy: "Kinda?"

Gloom: "Okay indefinitely. But now I see things clearly. Black doom was right. The planet would've never accepted us."

Shadow: "Not true. Look at me."

Gloom: "Yet GUN kept their eyes on you nonstop. I mean everywhere you go people feared you. during your whole life on this ball of life have you ever been shut out from the societies here? I mean they did lock you away, remember?"

FLASHBACK

The island

She looks at shadow's hand. The hand with the tattoo covered appeared below his wrist. His eyes start to glow a bit purple. The mark starts to spread a little bigger up his arm to his elbow glowing and easily visable like it's a virus.

Shadow: Stay… back…

His voice changed and he has his hands up reaching for her. Amy see's a shadow grow around him. a black aurora that looks paranormal around him growing like it's a monster. Amy reacts and pulls out Her Piko hammer.

Amy: Shadow, Somethings different about you lately, and I stood by watching for far too long. Whatever's wrong with you lately… It ends now.

Another

Being imprisoned by the gun when he first landed on this planet. GUN Trying so desperately to capture or kill him. Battling Sonic. He so far went to different places and isolated himself. He has an emotional war that one sided. Rouge was one of the only few who accepted him. Amy begging him to save the planet. The connections he made outweighs the pain when he first started. And the memory lost.

Terios thinks about it for a second and knows something similar.

Shadow: "You're right. but you're wrong mostly on that."

Gloom: "How could I be wrong?"

Shadow: "Because I have friends fighting along with me. helping me see this through."

They all smile from hearing that.

Sonic's conscience: "Shadow. You definitely did change."

Gloom: "Hmph. Lets see how long before they try to kill you."

Shadow: "What do you mean by that?"

Gloom: "So far up until now. Just as you all were protecting me. I can't keep protecting you. The Elites made it official. You're an enemy of ours. In fact, all of you should be dead at this moment."

Rouge: "So what's keeping us alive?"

Gloom: "Me."

They all look at the black guards around them.

Sonic: "Why are you keeping us alive?"

Gloom: "It's the least I could do since you protected me."

Amy blushes. She feels relieved. She raises her hand to her chest and feels a warm fuzzy feeling.

Amy: "So why don't you join us? I'm pretty sure the black arms will follow you."

Gloom: "Sorry, I'm afraid you're mistaken. I'm loyal to the black arms. loyal to black doom."

Knuckles: "Just a little reminder that he's dead. Him over there defeated him."

Gloom: "He always had a plan."

Shadow: "What is his plan?"

Gloom: "nice try."

Amy: "So gloom, is this still about maria anymore?"

Gloom: "No. Not now at least. I still plan to protect fulfill Maria's dream but my loyalty is to the black arms. This is who I am and who I was made to be.

A black arm walks in. He kneels before Gloom.

Gloom: "Speak."

Black arm soldier: "She's here sir."

Gloom: "Good. Bring her in."

Outside

Her ship lands. The comet floats above in the sky. She steps off the ship as the black army stands in front clearing a way for her.

Despara: "Hmm. I see the boys made themselves at home."

She steps down and walks towards the white house. Dragono walks by just in time.

Despara: "What happen to you?

Dragono: "I fell over a thousand feet away from home thanks to that blue rat."

Despara: "At least you're alive. besides who's going to lead the fleet?"

Dragono: "I need a doctor."

She walks in while the remaining black arms tend to the elite. She walks through the halls amazed and amused by the destruction the two caused. she finds the president.

Despara: "Mr. president."

President: "You must be the lady who I've been told to wait for?"

Despara: "I hope you made your mind."

President: "I have. That's why I ordered my troops to stand down."

Despara: "Wise decision."

She walks past him.

Despara: "Wait for me in the oval office. Right after I find those two. She walks. She see's a black hedgehog standing in the middle of a doorway. Terios.

Despara: "Terios is that you?"

Terios: "Yes ma'am."

Despara: "Hardly recognized you. mostly without your armor."

Terios: "I got that a lot today."

Despara: "Where is he?"

Terios: "In here."

She walks in to see Team Sonic, Team Dark, Amy, and Team chaotix and Gloom.

Despara: "Well, hello handsome."

Gloom: "Sigh, well get ready ladies and gentlemen. Shadow would you like to come?"

Despara: "Shadow the Hedgehog. We meet at last"

He stands up to see her. Shock and rage rushes through her nerves. She keeps a straight face and walks to him. she gets close to him.

Shadow: "Should I know you?"

She punches him in the face making him bop his head to the side. He stands there ready to hit back but doesn't he keeps calm. Amy almost stands up but sally pulls her down to the ground.

Despara: "You were supposed to kill him?"

Gloom: "I lost my energy fighting him."

He points to sonic with a black eye. He smiles with his lost tooth. Despara seems amused. She kneels down and gets a good look at him.

Despara: "Well, it looks like I was right."

Sonic: "Sure seems that way."

Despara: "How does it feel knowing you lost?"

Sonic: "Hurts."

Despara: "Good."

She stands up to look at the overwhelmed group and the princess.

Despara: "Kill them all."

Shadow: "What?"

Guards and soldiers point their guns at them all. Espio ready's his blade while Amy calls for her hammer. Sally brings out her other ring blade. Omega activates his cannon arm.

Gloom: "Stand down. there's no need for this. besides they won't be standing in our way for what we're about to do."

Despara: "They're a risk. We can kill them now!"

Gloom: "We can, but where's the fun in that? Why make the game too easy?"

Terios: "With all due respect madam. We got what we came here for. The emeralds and the president."

She looks at the two of them.

Despara: "They're injured and we can't have them compromise our mission. Just like last night and the comet, they will show up to ruin my operation, Especially her right there." *Stares down sally*

Gloom: "They made it this far. Besides, I'm pretty sure we'll need them in the future. Possibly."

Despara: "This isn't that little human brat you loved talking right?"

Shadow teleports in front of her while Terios appears behind him. Shadow holds a spike to her face and Terios a knife around shadow's neck from behind.

Gloom: "Terios. No. Let him."

He obeys Gloom. Backing off his older brother and putting the knife away.

Gloom: "Shadow. I won't stop you. I despise her way more but you understand what happens next right?"

Shadow: "I know."

Despara smiles and licks her lips. She licks the tip of shadows crystal and sucks on it.

Sonic: "W-woah!"

Sally: *Shock*

Tails: *Blushing*

Knuckles: "Damn."

Vector: "Wow."

Espio: … *blushing lightly while looking away*

Amy's conscience: "OH I OUGHTA SHOVE YOUR HEAD ALL THE WAY FORWARD ON THAT SPIKE FOR DOING THAT TO MY BOYFRIEND!"

She bobs her head on it for 10 seconds until she bites down the sharp end and swallows it. Shadow backs off and walks away while taking the spike out of his hand and throwing it away.

Gloom: "Disrespect her name again and I won't hold him back next time."

Despara: "I'll remember that."

She pulls out the last emerald she hands it to him.

Gloom *chuckles* "hand me the others."

Shadow: "What are you gonna do with them?"

Gloom looks around.

Gloom: "Nothing just yet."

Sonic: "Don't do it Shads."

Shadow: "Like I got a choice. Besides I'm not risking it."

He tosses his two to Gloom. Terios does the same. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.

Gloom: "Finally! I have all 7 of the Chaos Emeralds! IT'S AMAZING!"

They all stare down at him while they float above him.

Gloom: "But yet… I can't use them until our business is complete."

Despara: "Cheer up, love. You'll have your chance once we finish our mission."

Gloom: "Yeah. that's the tedious part."

Shadow: "So what is this mission the both of you are trying to accomplish?"

Gloom: "Come and see."

Oval office

He's on the phone with his trusted second in command.

President: "Yes. Yes, Abraham I understand. I don't think they're intentions are that."

Abraham: "But sir, think about what you're doing. They can attack anywhere in the world."

President: "I doubt they are going after heavy cities."

Abraham: "Then what are they targeting?"

President: "Multiple locations around the globe. They just gave me the coordinates. Abraham, I like you. you were always the one to take action. I admire that. However whatever business they have with us is done. They crippled one of the greatest nations to ever live. I don't think I'm walking away from this alive."

Abraham: "Don't say that sir. After everything that's happen, this country still needs you. just let me round up a group of men. We'll come in there and rescue you."

President: "Abraham. I won't matter. All you'll find is death at the front door. Listen i haven't lost my hope. Hope for this nation and the world. The GUN maybe crippled but we still have our allies out there. Just because they destroyed a well known base doesn't mean it's over. Besides those hedgehogs will stop them."

Abraham: "Yet they were defeated. Please sir, just…"

President: "My decision is final. My path is chosen. My fate is sealed. There's no way out. Even then, I get all these people killed and they hunt me down. I have made some phone calls in The sothern union of Spagonia. I need you to head there when you get a chance. Also I deemed it necessary that you become the next president of the united federation."

Abraham: "Me?"

President: "That's right. it's been my greatest honor to serve with you. This'll be my final order. Give em Hell."

Abraham: "The honor was all mine."

He hangs up the phone. He breathes in and out. The mad genius is sitting at the table with his feet kicked up.

Dr. Eggman: "So, how's the family?"

President: "You're despicable."

Dr. Eggman: "Hey, that takes care of one problem. Many more to go."

President: "What's your game huh? You're just like your grandfather, crazy as hell. So what the hell did this accomplish? Aiding the help of an enemy that wants nothing but to enslave your own kind?"

Dr. Eggman: "Heh heh. Sometimes I question my motives too. I scare myself sometimes. What I'm after is not important. But if I play both sides I could use it to my advantage. Plus they promised me black arm tech and resources if I deliver back the same so you know. Win-win."

President: "Scum."

The door opens. Gloom, Despara, and terios enter.

Despara: "Good afternoon Mr. president."

Gloom puts a case on the table and opens it.

President: "Where are these places located?"

Despara: "That's not important. We have a problem and we need you to fix it. Ground fall will occur on the coordinates you have in front of you."

Gloom puts the four pieces of paper in front of him. Numbers with locations around the world. he starts typing in penelope's name and the launch numbers on his keypad it opens a secret firing system onto a painting across the room. Eggman walks towards it. He cracks his knuckles and types in his numbers. The president puts in the firing codes and locations that are on the board.

Shadow, Amy, Sally, and Sonic walk in to see. Sally takes a look around. she sees the firing points

Sally: "Of course. The hellstorms. Using those you have the power to fire anywhere in the world.

President: "Almost anywhere. We don't have access to fire near major cities."

Despara: "And that's fine by us. Our operations are outside of cities. Less attention we draw the better."

President: "We can only make four Wraths of the Suns."

Gloom: "That's all we need."

Outer atmosphere

Up in the heavens above the planet. The hundreds of satellites created come together to merge a super weapon. The machines transform and connect to each other. The panels attract a large amount of energy from the sun. the four move away from each other heading to the places they were sent to go to. they are fully charged and ready to fire.

The ark

Beth and the scientist watch from above. They all stare out at on of the satellite and the news talking about what's going on inside the white house.

Vanilla and Creams house

They sit on the couch together still watching the events happening in the united federation.

Acorn palace

Elias, Amadeus, Melody, Max, and the other political icons of the house of acorn watch the news and here the wraths of the sun are activated.

Some shake and quiver looking above them hoping it's not the end for them.

Babylon Rouges

Jet, wave and storm watch the news hearing about it. jet looks out the window to see a flashing light up in the sky.

Jet: "Crap."

Spagonia

Professor pickles and the prime minister are watching the news as well. They notice a giant light above them but not aiming for them.

Holaska

It's night time up in the freezing cold. AA few stare up to see a large light blinking above.

Chaotix Detective agency

Aliese watches the news. She sits on the couch clutching her hands together. Outside in the forest the animals and other nearby people living in the houses watch.

Monopole

Near the gigan rocks residential areas people are looking above them to see a flashing light.

Westopolis

Silver, blaze, bunnie, and charmy watch the news. They start getting the idea of what's happening and decide to hurry towards sonic and the gang in central city. Silver goes on ahead flying towards the city.

Soleanna

Elise watches the flatscreens on her thrown showing the events happening. She has her hands clenched together praying that this all goes swell.

Shamar

In the city of the desert. They all watch above seeing the beams of light separating each other.

Island

On the island, Ydolem is in her hut sensing something bad is happening. She has candles and dreamcatchers on and the wind blows. Outside a few guards and people notice something happening in the heavens above. The island shows her and the candles go out. She collapses on her side and gets up breathing hard. She calms down and looks towards the sky.

Ydolem: "A new evil approaches."

White House

President: "There. They're in place."

He takes out two keys and tosses one to eggman.

President: "On my go."

Eggman inserts the key.

President: "Firing in…"

The four beams of light fire upon the planet.

Holaska Ice facility

An abandon compound of ice frozen in the northern hemisphere freezing around an arctic ocean. The heat starts to melt away at an area digging a whole underneath. Something starts glowing within.

Spagonia catacombs

North of spagonia. A dig site is hit hard digging a whole underneath somewhere.

Carved through a mountain around a forest with trees.

The beam goes into a mountain destroying it from the inside like a reverse volcano.

In the ocean near Seaside hill and ocean palace

It hits something down beneath it. It starts glowing. Glowing bright red. A whirlpool starts circling around as another battalion of black arm soldiers come's to check it.

Back at central city

Four black arm lieutenants in the oval office have there phone's in. They listen to the devices. They all get the same message saying "Direct hit. The targets are hit." The four of them raise thumbs up.

Despara: "Excellent. Now we can move on to the next phase of our plan."

Gloom walks to the doctor. He shows the two blood vials.

Gloom: "With my history on this stuff and your genius, do you think we can make more?"

Dr. Eggman: "As long you keep your end of the deal."

Gloom: "And as long as you keep yours."

He hands them over.

Gloom: "Now. Self destruct them."

President: "Wise choice."

He types in more stuff on his briefcase laptop and it needs a voice recognition.

Briefcase: "Voice Recognition Needed."

President: "Disassemble the Guns."

Briefcase: "Password Accepted."

A button comes in on the middle of the case. He breathes in and exhales. He presses the self-destruct button.

*BOOM*

A shockwave and pulse brushes through the place. The wind can be heard from outside.

Sonic: "What was that?"

President: "The hellstorms being destroyed."

Shadow: "That also means your country is vulnerable."

President: "Not necessarily. We still have old contacts and friends willing to help rebuild."

Despara: "It's too bad you won't be there to see it."

Everyone in the room looks back at her. Sonic starts balling his fist up. he gets even more pissed. His quills starts getting frizzy. Amy looks at sonic. She hardly sees him like this when he's angry. He starts glowing yellow and it disappears without anyone knowing except Amy and Shadow.

Shadow: "Sonic no."

Gloom looks back to see sonic glowing yellow and off. He's harnessing the emeralds.

Gloom: "What's his deal?"

Sonic: "You're not killing him."

He almost there turning into the worlds greatest. Everyone in the room steps back and stares at him.

Gloom: "What the…"

The ultimate life form stands in front of him. He looks Sonic dead in the eye.

Shadow: "Listen, I'm with you."

He powers up with him. the emeralds start to react. They float upwards in the room. Everyone in the oval office is stunned. Shadow turns super. He turns golden yellow.

Gloom: "So this is it. This is the power of the chaos emeralds. I finally understand."

Super Shadow: "I'm ready when you are. Trust me, but this is not the right moment nor the right time. today is not the day. Even if we beat them now, they'll just emerge again. We don't know what we're up against or who else is out there. There's still unanswered questions. So many things we don't know yet. Even if we have the chance, Him (points at gloom who's standing there smiling hard) and that guy (points at Terios shocked and amazed) are still in this oval office with the chaos emeralds. They are me overpowered. They will turn like us and kill everyone in this building, including everyone downstairs. Now are you okay risking our lives trying to save the world?"

Sonic standing still glowing yellow looks at Amy. She holds his hand.

Amy: "it's okay. It's okay."

Sonic lets go. He powers down and feels a little surge running through his body. The sword around his neck and back get a little boost. He feels alive again. The bruises and scars around his body heal minus his black eye. Shadow does the same.

Gloom: "That was amazing." *Laughing*

He claps. He walks towards Shadow.

Despara: "So there is much to you both after all, huh? No matter. Escort the president to the united nations room when you're done."

She walks towards the trio. She reaches for Sonic's face and brings his head closer to her. she whispers in his ear.

Despara: "Hurry and come see me. So I can break you some more."

She licks his face and travels down his face towards his neck and stops right there. While staring at Amy. the pink hedgehog looks in shock and a dark aurora surrounds her. Fire burst within her eyes as she walks away.

Sonic: "When I get home, I'm taking a double shower. With bleach."

Gloom walks in front of them.

Gloom: "Like I said, crazy bitch."

The president is finished writing on his table. He stands up and opens a drawer. He grabs three medals. He looks at penelope's picture on the table and keeps it there. He grabs the picture of sonic and shadow on his desk and takes it out.

Sonic: "Yo, P.O.T.U.F? Please tell me you got an escape plan?"

President: "Heh heh. That's what I always liked about you. You just don't know when to quit. I admire that. But no, there's no getting out of this. This place got burned down before, we'll build it again."

Sonic: "Oh c'mon man, I'm not letting you go out like this."

President: "Then learn from this. The world will see my death as a wake up call. They will use me as an example of a man willing to die

President: "I'd like to thank you. All of you. for the courageous work you did for us. You saved a lot of lives today."

Shadow: "It was our pleasure."

Amy: "You don't have to do this. we can just teleport you out?"

President: "Have all these people including my daughter down stairs dead on my conscience? I'm okay with this. my will is on the table. They'll find it. I wanted to give you these."

He places the medals on all three of their heads.

President: "It is my humble appreciation for everything you've done."

Gloom: "Blah blah blah, can we hurry this u-"

Amy looks at Gloom with a demon look. Her face turning demonic. Her tongue hissing out of her mouth and staring gloom down. Gloom welps like the dog he is and sweat falls all over his face. He gets the idea to shut up. his mouth wide open still smiling trying to look innocent. He walks away looking for his brother.

President: "I wish there was another way. I have faith that you will defeat this new enemy. You will see to it that the world has a better future. If Gerald and Maria were still here they would be proud."

President: "I wish you all best of luck to you all."

He walks out and downstairs. The guards follow behind him. They follow him downstairs. They follow him towards the study area everyone is still at. They enter the room to see Terios sitting down with Espio.

Espio: "I can see the chaos in your eyes, dark one. But yet I can see compassion within your soul."

Terios: …

Espio: "I sense pain in you. Not as great as Shadows and Gloom but something similar. There's a split in you. Something you don't know which part to listen to. But you do trust your instincts."

Terios: "I always follow the way of the wind. It guides me."

Amy walks to Terios.

Amy: "So, Terios."

He jumps up, recognizing the voice. He turns around.

Terios: "Y-yes."

Amy: *giggles* "I'm amy."

Terios: "Amy… Nice to finally meet you."

Amy: "So gloom talks about me?"

Terios: "More than this Maria."

Amy blushes from hearing that. She smiles heavily.

Amy: "You're just like shadow. Sweet and innocent."

Shadow: "Who ever said I was innocent?"

He walks towards them.

Amy: "I did."

Shadow: "hmph."

He remembers back on the island when she almost tried to murder him.

Amy: "So Terios, are you sure you can't join us? We can show you the world y'know."

Terios: "As much as I would love that. I can't. My devotion is to Gloom."

Shadow: "It doesn't have to be that way. You have the option to choose."

He starts to think to himself. He knows he could but he can't necessarily abandon gloom.

Terios: "It's not that easy for me. I still need to uncover the truth to who I am."

Shadow: "I understand. Personally."

While they conversate Sonic is walking fine. He walks to his team.

Tails: "Sonic, are you okay? What happened?"

Sonic: "They vaporized multiple spots around the world. *grunts* they're going to kill the president."

Knuckles: "Well then lets stop them."

Sally: "No knuckles. You can't. they'll kill us all if we interfere."

Knuckles: "But we can't just let them do this."

Tails: "They already defeated the united federation. What do they gain by killing the president?"

Sally: "To prove a point. They want the world to know they are not to be messed with."

They all are shocked to hear it. They gaze at the medal on sonics chest. Rouge walks up.

Rouge: "Nice medal blue boy."

Sonics: "Hmph. Whatever."

He walks away clutching it. hard.

Knuckles: "What happened up there?"

Sally: "They turned super and almost duked it out with each other."

Knuckles: "Hmph, what stopped them?"

Sally: "Shadow did. He was willing to fight one more time but shadow stopped them before it got out of hand."

Rouge: "Hm. That would've been bad."

Knuckles: "This is something I've never seen in sonic before. Never seen him so pissed off."

Tails: "even before in our old adventures he hardly got like this."

Sally: "I've only seen him once."

Rouge: "It's almost like he turned into Shadow… and shadow turned into him."

He walks away slowly limping. Sally gazes upon seeing her childhood protégé and friend limping so slowly. He's not the type to be slow and angry.

Sally's conscience: "Oh sonic."

Flashback

Sonic when they were kids. He had a broken leg from a mission he sneaked off on. He had a cask bandage on him but no crutches. He hops fast like a kangaroo on one leg towards the river board walk. He sits down and relaxes his feet in the water feeling the water flow.

Kid Sally: "What did I tell you about leaving bed!"

Sonic jumps from hearing that. He starts sweating knowing who that sound is from. He turns around. proudly.

Kid Sonic: "Oh, h-hey Sal. Didn't know you were there."

She pinches him by the ear.

Kid Sonic: "OW OKAY OW! Oh c'mon I'm not wired just sitting around and doing nothing while robuttnik continues to spread his stink clouds."

Kid Sally: "You're supposed to heal."

Kid Sonic: "For being a princess, you sure are demanding?"

She punches him in the head and leaves a giant bump on it.

Kid Sonic: "Ow! How am I supposed to heal when you make it worst."

Kid Sally: "You did that to yourself. Why are you out here with no crutches?"

Kid Sonic: "They feel so uncomfortable. Besides I got perfect balance."

Kid Sally: "Still, your body needs to rest. For your sake."

Kid Sonic: "Whatever, I'll be fine. *sigh* I should be out there with them. fighting."

Kid Sally: "You're going to get roboticized if you do."

Kid Sonic: "Better to die fighting than being his tool. We can't stay out here in these woods forever. we gotta take the fight to him."

Kid Sally: "And we will you impatient jerk. It may not be today. Tomorrow. But I promise you we will."

Kid Sonic: "And save uncle chuck."

Kid Sally: "And my father."

They sit next to the water. He feels the water. the birds chirping as she lies on his back.

Kid Sonic: "You wanna see something cool."

Kid Sally: "Please not another fart joke."

Kid Sonic: *Chuckles* "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Not that. Even though it would be funny."

He sticks his hand in the water. he starts moving fast. Vibration. Sally starts feeling the vibration. She looks down to see sonic pick the water. He makes the water into a ball as big as his palm. He flows I around his hands. Sally is shocked to see him do that. He rolls it down his arm as it still keeps it into a ball. He bounces it up on his arm and flows it on the other.

Kid Sally: "No way."

He hands it to sally but it completely turns back into the water again.

Kid Sally: "Ha ha. How did you do that?"

Kid Sonic: "I'm not the smart one but I believe they call it breaking the rules of physics."

Kid Sally: "Laws of physics. And yes."

Kid Sonic: "Yeah that."

Kid Sally: "So you have been paying attention in class?"

Kid Sonic: "A little, but also cause I was bored. Breaking the rules can be fun sometimes."

Kid Sally: "You seem happy today."

Kid Sonic: "We manage to take down one of eggheads weapon Factory's. he'll be out of commission for a while. In no time, out of the picture."

Kid Sally: "You're too impatient."

Kid Sonic: "What does that mean?"

Kid Sally: "Oh never mind."

Kid Sonic: "So how's Bunnie?"

Kid Sally: "Oh she's fine. Getting better by the second after it all happened."

Kid Sonic: "I need to get back out there. Gotta make sure nothing like this happens to anyone else ever again"

Kid Sally: "Baby steps Sonic. Baby steps."

Flashback ends

Sally: "Sonic…"

The blue hedgehog walks away to another place to settle his thoughts. All he can think about was Gloom ready to break Sally's arm.

Sonic: "Next time. I'll kick his ass."

He grunts his teeth hard. Showing his venom animal teeth.

With Gloom and Despara

He's in the room with the round table. He looks around seeing the old paintings. Despara waits sitting on the table while on the phone.

Despara: "So, happy? Everything working out as it should."

Gloom: "This wasn't how it was supposed to go. We were supposed to cripple the GUN and capture the president. Instead you caused a whole country to fall before it's knees."

Despara: "It's the only way. We strike fear in the hearts and their souls. We break them."

Gloom: "Do we really have to kill the president? I mean he has a daughter."

Despara: "So what? not like she'll be in our way."

Gloom: "I'm not a monster."

Despara: "We're all monsters. You were made to be a weapon. With all due respect, do you think the cloning process were about saving that little girl from a disease. He promised black doom an army of his own children. You. think about it. The humans knew of your existence and were going to sell you to the highest bitter. It all makes sense if you think about it. These people are not to be trusted with power they don't understand."

Gloom walks around the table to think about it. she does make good points but still defeats the purpose of what the mission is. He can't deny but agree that it's the only way that the world's mightiest force is take out of the picture.

Gloom: "Fine."

She walks towards him.

Gloom: "Hmph. I still don't understand why he didn't put me on the front lines."

Despara: "Maybe he believed in you more than you think. After hearing that you existed, it all made sense that you were meant to be our next master. You were the one."

She places her hands around his chest. She plays with his fur a little and rubs his sides.

Despara: "I think after we finish our agenda, you'd make a great ruler. You just need to let go of any attachments you have for this planet."

Gloom: "This was my home. I was born here."

Despara: "It's not like they would've accepted you. they would've locked you away."

She licks his check. She presses her boobs onto him.

Gloom: "You do have a point."

Despara: "I know. I'm ashamed to say but that meddlesome hedgehog should've been disposed of."

Gloom: "10 Minutes ago you didn't give a damn about them. what changed?"

Despara: "I met him."

She kisses him on the lips. Gloom follows through out of instinct. His first kiss taken by her.

Gloom: "This planet will be ours. That's a promise."

Despara: "Have me rule next to you when it happens."

Gloom: "Depends."

She drags him towards the table. She bites his neck hard leaving a blood mark. Like she's a vampire. He smells her hair while she does it. he starts to sense something. Terios is watching. The door is open. He backs away from Despara and looks back.

Gloom: "T."

Despara: "Did you enjoy yourself Terios?"

His face is blank. Emotionless. It seems like he could care less.

Terios: "The president is on his way."

Despara: "Good."

She licks her lips and rubs her chest while she sits there. She crosses her legs back professionally waiting for him.

Outside

He's talking to his 6 year old daughter.

President: "Just want you to know daddy loves you more than anything. I'll be gone for a while. You'll be okay."

She shakes her head yes not understanding the situation or anything that's about to happen.

President: "You'd be good. Focus on your studies."

Penelope: "I'll be going to see your mother for a while. You'll understand when you're older. Remember our motto?"

Penelope: "Don't wish for an easy life. Make yourself a stronger person."

President: "heh heh heh, yes ma'am. I love you."

Penelope: "Love you to daddy."

Gloom walks from behind.

Gloom: "Sir, we must be leaving soon."

President: "Agreed. Sorry honey. Love you."

Penelope: "Love you, have fun."

He walks away as she see's her hero walk away. His silhouette will be the last thing she remembers. Gloom walks him to the office where the united nations are waiting.

Gloom: "I am really sorry that she is going to grow up without a father. I just want you to know, it's not personal and it wasn't my idea."

President: "Anything for my daughter, my people, and my country."

Gloom: "Im not gonna like this part."

He grabs a gun off the side of a Black arm soldiers leg holster. They enter the office.

There are people sitting down at a big table. A long circular table of country leaders. Elias hologram projector appears before the table while he's still at mobotropolis at home in the kingdom of acorn. All well known leaders over the years Sonic has met or helped out. Professor pickles sits down at the middle of the table near the leader of spagonia. Elise, queen of soleanna now older than what she used to be in a deleted timeline sits down. Leader of Chun-nan. Apotos. Leonus. Shamar. Monopole. Apotos. Dragon kingdom. New Mercia. Wolf pack nation. And it goes on.

Elias: "good. Testing testing is everyone there?"

Elise: "We're here your majesty."

Pickles: "Yes sir. You're loud and clear."

Chun-nan leader: "Shi-de" (Yes)

Lupe: "yes, we hear you loud and clear.

Mazuri: "yes."

Spagonia: "Yes."

Elias: "Good. Now I invited everyone here in good faith to talk about the threat that's attacking the united federation."

Spagonia: "We're actually taking in civilians right now and helping them. so about this black arm's they attacked some of my cities in the past."

Elias: "The black arm's are ruthless terrorist. I just got word they just captured the president. He has issued an order for the military in his country to stand down. I called everyone here in good faith to ask for help to sort this situation out."

Lupe: "Those creatures have terrorized my country for far too long."

Spagonia leader: "Agreed. My men have found a few stings and operations of the black arms. Heard they were in the catacombs underneath spagonia trying to dig up stuff they shouldn't be digging up. And they were snooping around in the old Camelot castle."

Chun-nan: "I recommend we send a few missles towards the creatures."

Elias: "We can't we gotta obey the laws of not to fire on another country grounds. Plus it violates the treaty."

Chun-nan: "But we're not attacking them."

Pickles: "Still it's best to save your trouble and the millions of dollars your missiles cost. I say they wouldn't work anyway."

Elias: "Why's that. I just found out Dr. Ivo Robotnik aka Eggman is working with them."

Lupe: "Not surprising. So what do we do about him?"

Spagonia: "You can't he's under their protection. Seems like they are working with him.

United federation second representative: "Everyone, I have terrible news. Also the president is going to be joining this meeting in a minute but not alone."

Shamar: "Excuse me, professor? Do you have information about these black creatures."

Pickles: "I studied the archives and information with a few friends of mine in the Spagonia research team. It seems the black arms have been here occasionally in the past millions of years. Checking on this planet, seeing if it was habitable. They been here before. There was a war long ago involving them and the gaia's and a an unnamed society. The creatures battled to take this planet ending up destroying and fracturing mobius. I don't know what drove them off or any information on their departure but it says they were here before the first attack all those years ago. The worlds greatest mind Gerald Robotnik has made contact of the comet and that's what brought them back when they discovcered the planet has intelligent life."

Elias: "So it's hard to call them aliens then."

Pickles: "They are aliens. But yes it's hard to call them that now since they have been living on this planet."

Elise: "In hiding."

Pickles: "That too. The creatures are not after our resources, they have a different agenda."

Lupe: "Enslavement?"

Pickles: "Something like that. They insist on changing the world and the law of human nature."

Elias: "It seems like world domination."

Pickles: "Precisley."

The united federation hologram turns on with the president, despara, and Gloom with a gun.

Gloom: "Hello. How's it going world leaders?"

Elias: "So you're the infamous Gloom the hedgehog we've been hearing about?"

Gloom: "Yep."

Despara: "We're on a tight schedule, so lets get down to business."

Gloom: "Indeed. We recommend you all to take your soldiers out of the united federation. call all the ally nations military away from the united federation."

Elias: "And if we don't?"

Despara: "Oh not a good option to what's going to happen. We have weapons of mass destruction of our own, ready to fire at any city we choose. We crippled the Guardians of United Nations. Their base is destroyed. Army is crushed. We have the country in the palm of our hands. And all of you are next. Thanks with the notorious Dr. Eggman and his army, we will be unstoppable.

Everyone: "WHAT!"

Gloom: "Yep and we're ready to unleashing them onto the world."

Despara: "So unless you bow down, kneel and surrender and we will spare him and reconsider our agenda on the other nations we have planned for assimilation."

Gloom aims at his head awaiting their answer.

Everyone is silent until the president speaks.

President: "My brothers and sisters of the world. I have failed. As the president of the united federation, do not surrender to these animals. The time has come for us to put our differences aside and work together and stop these people next to me at all cost. as I stand here at the last few moments of my death. Ensure that the survival of everyone and everything on this planet is possible. I believe and have hope in my heart that you will do the right thing. The saviors and protectors of this world Sonic and Shadow and the rest of the freedom fighters will come forth and stop him. as I make my final order, for the love of my daughter and children of the future. This is my final order. Give em hell fellas."

Gloom: "Well you heard him. last chance guys…"

Everyone stares as sweat falls from them. chills travel their spines. They all stay silent as waiting for what's gonna happen. Screaming and begging can be heard from Glooms end.

Gloom: *sigh* "Alrighty then!"

He pulls the trigger and the president brains are splattered across and off the hologram as he falls to the side. Out of the view.

Elias: …

Everyone is silent. Shocked. Devastated.

Gloom: "Told you they wouldn't listen."

Despara: "No matter. We'll see them soon."

The holographic phone call ends. Sweat falls down Elias face.
