Prologue
Sunday morning, May 3, 2000
Everything seemed to be normal but, it was anything but, normal.
Muggles were staring to rise with the sunshine and start breakfast or dress up for the day at work. Some were kissing their 'wives' goodbye while others hugging their children. There was nothing abnormal about Great Britain that morning, there was no warning that something incredible was about to occur.
The magical population was a different story though.
The war was finally over and the Chosen One came through. The Magical Community was no longer being oppressed by Lord Voldemort who had perished more than 5 ½ years and they're finally free of persecution. They hugged loved ones close and found loved ones who were send away to be kept safe.
The Magical World was tired of hiding, they knew that one of the reasons Voldemort and his Death Eaters hated Muggles and vice versa was because they didn't understand each other, what other time than the present. They wanted the Muggle World to know their joy. They wanted to share their joy and share they did. Things were changing.
Everything was completely normal until around mid-afternoon when the Muggles started to notice strange things were happening that were occurring around them. Strangely dressed people of all ages and genders were appearing out of air in groups with eccentric clothing, strange jewelry, waist coats, pointed and glamours Witches hates and long brightly colored robes in arrays of colors and designs adorned in chains and decorative buttons.
What stood out the most was they carried with them long and elegant sticks; none of which were the same. Many Muggle folk found this strange but, decided to go against asking about because they seemed strange and unusual.
They appeared everywhere shooting sparks out of their wooden sticks, in neighborhoods, in subways, the aisles of convenience stores and shopping centers, bars and private dance halls. Some dancing away; grabbing Muggles of all ages along the way to join in their dances and jigs. Others grabbing their faces, kissing their foreheads gently and yelling.
"The Dark Lord is Defeated!" and "The War is over, we are free!"
When night fell came the parties, with it came the cheers and the jovial screams and with that came fireworks that burst in marvels of swirling greens. Sparkles of red and orange, yellow starbursts and blue flickers that boomed, shrieked and whizzed into the sky.
The more curious of the Muggles even went to investigate the celebrations with their friends and families and found things beyond their wildest dreams.
Upon arrival, instead of being Obliviated they were welcomed with open arms and pulled into the festivities, watching as the magical folk flew on brooms and danced on tables preforming spells, while others awed at their culture and listened to their stories, ate their food and drank their beer.
Though not all partied and drank. Some groups stood in silence and held vigil for those lost. They were there to honor those that died not just at the Battle of Hogwarts, but also those lost along the way and the crossfire.
One of those groups of people was the staff and students of the once great and proud Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry which was now reduced to rubble. The dead were currently being gathered gently and wrapped in silk cloth. The loved one's present huddled in sobs as they laid flowers and charms on their dead, kissing their cold bodies goodbye one last time. Others surrounding them giving words of comfort covered in dust, scars, blood and tatters.
Upon completion, the families of the lost stood in lines raising their wands along with the crowds. Brilliant blue and white wisps lit the tips of thousands of wands and the sobs got louder as the bodies of Professor Severus Snape, Percy Weasley (who saved his little brother Fred from the curse spell and risk his life to save him who named his son after his older brother Percy). Nyphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, Colin Creevey, and Lavender Brown names lifted into the air, slowly become wisps of white and fireflies.
They lifted their wands with all their might. They lifted them for those who couldn't lift themselves, those whose children would never know their parents were heroes, those who were beaten and murdered for protest and fought for what was right, and those who were in the wrong place and wrong time. They raised them for justice and for honor.
5 ½ years later. May 2, 2006.
It had been a long 5 ½ years for Hermione Granger.
5 ½ years of rebuilding her life, 5 ½ years of struggling not to look over her shoulder and 5 ½ long years of nightmares and regret of what she could've done differently.
5 ½ years and she found her parents only to learn they got killed from a car cash causing her to stare at her siblings Jay, Cameron, Ariel and Aqua in horror after looking high and low in Australia. Hermione felt she failed her parents to protect them but, her siblings assured her that they lived a good life and even gained another baby, Quintuplets to be exact and gained custody over them. Theseus Alekander Jacob Granger 'Theo', (OC), Lilliana Luna Camilla Granger 'Lily' (OC) Seth Newton Harrison Granger (OC) Zoelle Veronica Elisabeth Granger 'Zoey' (OC) and Zander Maxwell Neil Granger 'Zayne or Zee' (OC) as they took turns to watch over the youngest Quints as they made sure they grew up with lots of love.
After she buried her parents with her only family of siblings they talked about custody over the Quints and her siblings thought it would help to heal their little sister from the trauma that she been through. That didn't mean that Jay, Cameron, Ariel and Aqua didn't love the Quints but, felt Hermione should bond with the Quints as she missed a lot from the past 5 ½ years as the Quints consider Hermione as their mother figure and sister.
From thinking of what to do with their childhood home, Hermione made the decision with her siblings that they'd close their parents dentistry office and sell their house. It was too painful living in that house with so many memories but, this was before she emptied everything and grabbed everyone's stuff before she sold the house. It was probably the hardest thing that she ever done, and it still hurts that her boyfriend Ron that time wasn't there when she finally let's go of the house two years ago.
Jay, Cameron, Ariel and Aqua were there for support but, had no problem telling her that she's better off without him as they didn't agree with how they noticed that Ron was belittling her on her work.
Jay, her older brother bought a house for Hermione to raise the Quints— Theseus, Seth, Lily, Zoey, and Zander together so they can be raised with love and learn about magic as they're showing their magical abilities. Among other things Jay, Cameron, Ariel and Aqua would always visit whenever they come over noticing the changes that her boyfriend Ron was never around especially the changes on their little sister Hermione who looked rather stressed.
"Mio where's Ronald?" Jay stiffly says.
"At work overtime," Hermione rolled her eyes at this looking at the papers "As always I tell him that you're coming over and he would say sorry Mione but, I won't be able to come over due to overtime at work," she explained.
"Right," Cameron rolled his eyes at Ron's lame excuse knowing the real reason but, held his tongue for their little sister's sake "So what's the plan for the weekend cookie?" he asked.
"Well I thought we can go to the carnival for the kids. I'm sure they would love that or the zoo what do you think?" Hermione asked.
"I think that sounds like fun, what time should we leave?" Ariel spoke up.
"How about 7:00 in the morning the carnival won't be open till 8 but, we can get something to eat before then what do you guys think?" Hermione asked turning to her siblings.
"Sounds like a plan cookie, we'll see you in the morning babez," Aqua replied hugging her little sister.
"Okay see you then, be careful out there okay," Hermione replied.
"Don't we always, thanks to you and Harry," Ariel winked at her sister causing Hermione to chuckle at this "See you in the morning cookie," she replied.
"See you guys tomorrow," Hermione told them waving goodbye as she went to set the Quints Theseus, Lily, Zoey, Seth, and Zander to their rooms for their nap.
No matter how much she grown, Jay, Cameron, Ariel and Aqua always made sure to have time for their little sister and the Quints no matter how much has passed. After they reunited after the war Jay, Cameron, Ariel and Aqua made a vow to themselves if things were to crumble for their little sister they'll be here for her. With everything she went through they knew things were about to change since Ariel and Aqua are now married to George and Fred Weasley; Hermione much to her horror was pushed out of the way from Percy who saved Fred which cause them to cry in agony.
So Fred married Aqua, her older sister as they decided to name their first-born son after Percy who's Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, Ron and Ginny's brother, among the other names they picked while George, his twin married Ariel, her older sister who's a twin of Aqua; yes it's a twin wedding which left Mrs. Weasley (Molly) to keep pushing Ron to ask Hermione to marry him so she can be part of the family much to Hermione and her siblings dismay.
It cause a lot of tension because Ron didn't ask either of her siblings her hand of marriage due to their parents got killed; Jay being the eldest refused to have Ron part of their family since he knew that Hermione deserved better from what he heard through the rumors; he had people keeping watch over Ronald from what he's been up too and neither of the siblings aren't thrilled or happy with the results as they're debating how to tell their little sister but, without their knowledge Hermione already know about his …conquests.
Jay and Cameron they got married to their childhood sweethearts; Jay married Mal, his first love while Cameron married Sophia who's Mal's twin sister so it's like a quadruplet's wedding for everyone in her family to be honest. It took almost 3 years for Hermione to accept Ron's purposal despite how he didn't ask none of her siblings permission to ask her to marry him which causes a lot of problems for the couple until he finally ask them which Jay, Cameron, Ariel and Aqua sneered trying to keep their anger and stiffly agreed but, warned him if he ever tries anything to break or lose their little sister's trust he's going to regret for even trying to mess with their little sister which he ignored as he believes they're just muggles they can't do anything but, will regret he rue the day he messed with the youngest pureblood royal princess as Ron and Harry has no knowledge that Hermione isn't a muggleborn but, a pureblood witch and royal princess as she kept her heritage to herself.
Last summer in August Ronald Billius Weasley decided to ask Hermione Jean Granger to marry him, obviously at the time Hermione felt a bit pressured but, at the same they were in love at least she thought they were and found herself graduating in Hogwarts. Back then when she got engaged to Ronald Weasley, her Hogwarts sweetheart she felt as though she couldn't have been luckier to have a more patient and attentive fiancée.
Nor, could she have asked for better friends than Harry and Ginny, Oliver Wood, Bill Weasley, his wife Fleur Weasley, Charlie Weasley, Fred, his wife Aqua (Hermione's older sister), George, his wife Ariel (Hermione's older sister), Jay and Cameron (Hermione's older brothers) with their families who attended to her graduation as she made peace and became friends with the impossible Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Theodore Nott and surprisely Pansy Parkinson who became her extended family and get along with her siblings pretty well and they always had a beef with Ron no matter how many times what he says Hermione wasn't going to stop being friends with them.
However, as the years went by Ronald, her fiancée became more secretive, always seem to compare her to his mother Molly. He's always out at work. Hermione would see him stay at his office all the time after hours and never come home while she's taking care of the Quints Theseus, Seth, Lily, Zoey and Zander where they always have arguments over that which she refused to back down. Then there's Harry and Ginny Potter. Just because they were a perfect match and never fought that didn't mean they were perfect either. She should know there are times where Harry would try to tell her something but, something always seem to be in the way; she always felt that Molly and Ginny were always there to stop him from talking to her.
Hermione had thought about leaving Ron on several occasions, venting over this with her siblings Jay, Cameron, Ariel and Aqua who always been her support system but, when she told Ginny she would say that things would work out in the end or Harry would chase away the marriage matches. She was beginning to think that those two wanted Ronald and her to be together as they can stay together as a four some double date thing.
Hermione rolled her eyes on those excuses because she heard rumors about Ronald going to bars and kissing random girls, where her childhood friend, her first love Oliver Barnes who's the owner of those bars would tell her what happen between Ron and that girl. She was seething and wanted to hex the cheating git but, Ollie told her that her time will come when they'll caught him red handed; so she got enough evidence to catch that cheating git whenever he says that he has double shifts at work when in reality he's going to bars having sex, kissing etc. whatever he does.
She would grab every evidence he does without his knowledge which cause Jay, Cameron, Ariel and Aqua seething wanting to hex him but, she begged them not too just yet because she has a plan and she's hoping they're willing to help which they agreed as they told her repeatedly.
"Mio we keep telling you you're better off without that cheating git; he doesn't deserve you babez, one day you're going to meet someone who would appreciate you and not belittle you or compare you to his mother, which is bloody stupid mind you. Your husband should be the one to support you what you do and shouldn't stop you from what you love and babez, being a Magizoologist is the best job ever mum and daddy would've been proud of you Mio no matter how matter how much you guys went through it won't change anything from stopping you what you love since the damage is done. When that day comes I want to be there to hex that bloody git that he just mess with the wrong Royal Pureblood family and when that day comes we'll ruin his job and reputation in all the Wizardly Community inside the Ministry and everything that he ever worked will be ruined," Jay pointed out.
"Trust me big brother he's going to rue the day he messed with Hermione Anastasia Sophia Carson Rose Kensington, IV Pureblood Royal Princess," Hermione smirked at this grabbing every evidence inside her purse inside a folder where no one has access except with herself "Where no one is going to know our heritage until that day agreed,"
"Agreed," Jay, Cameron, Ariel and Aqua nodded in agreement.
"If I didn't know any better I would say you're a Slytherin under all that Mio," Ariel chuckled at this "And our parents along with our relatives who lost their lives in the first war would've been proud of you babez. We're going to make them proud you'll see," she explained.
"Yes, we're going to make them very proud because not only it's going to ruin his reputation but, I'm going to end that engagement, end my contacts with Mrs. Weasley (Molly) Ronald, and Ginny. I want nothing to do with them," Hermione coldly spats.
"That makes all of us babez but, what about Harry?" Cameron asked.
"...He's already in the deep end…but, I won't give up on him he's still in there Cam I know he is…despite everything…he's still in there," Hermione murmured.
"We know," Aqua murmured.
"Let's keep going with the plan and bring our warriors to arrive at the mix I'm sure they're more than willing to help us," Hermione smirked at this causing her siblings to chuckle at this "After all…they owe me a few favors," she explained.
"Please do and I'm sure our cousins are more than willing to help just in the shadows," Ariel pointed out.
"What about Draco and his friends. Do you think they're willing to help too?" Aqua asked.
Cameron snorted at this "Of course they will you know how Drake never liked Weasel, as he always tell us "Guys Mio is better off without Weasel I never understood the connection between them as they don't have anything in common,"
Hermione slowly nod at this as they plan was still motion but, remembered what she wanted to do for work despite her busy schedule she tried to make time for Ron yet he couldn't do the same favor half way to her and even listened to what Ron and her friends wanted her to do. She stayed at home, cooked meals and made sure everything was okay for Ron's arrival home. But, as months went by she lost her sparks with Ron and lost her love for the man that was once her best friend.
Even with the Quints Theseus, Lily, Seth, Zoey and Zander can tell that she lost her spark with the mean man who always make their big sister cry and they're only 5 years who are smart for their age just like their oldest siblings before them.
She wanted to study animals and help Muggles understand things and when Ronald always come late she would always be on the couch reading "Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them' by Newt Scamander as she always reads this book to the Quints Theseus, Lily, Seth, Zoey, Zander and Teddy who are also huge fans of his success.
Ronald hated that book; it always gave her ideas he said. Eventually one day she snapped and when she was approached by the current Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt about a position as the Head of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, she took it. She never hesitated. She asked Ron and her friends about it, but they told her she shouldn't do it. She needed to relax after the war. She did too much during the war and needed to start settling down.
So, she asked Bill, Fleur, Charlie, Fred, George, Ariel, Aqua, Jay, Mal, Cameron, Sophia, Luna, Neville, Draco and her other friends who told her to do it which is exactly what she did.
Ronald was furious, along with Harry, Ginny and Mrs. Weasley. They stated that she didn't need any more scars from dealing with animals. She had enough from the Battles she fought. Mrs. Weasley said ladies didn't need a lot of scars, stating that Ginny never got any scars, her sisters Ariel and Aqua had to held her back from saying something rude but, she couldn't help herself stating "Ginny was a coward to not accept any scars as any warrior would," sneering at this as she stormed off with her siblings glowering their eyes dangerously at the woman as they ran after her, although...Ron made her apologize which left her to snap at him into another argument. It took months to apologize to her but, she didn't regret saying it to her because she is a coward unlike her, she's a warrior and damn proud to be one.
They thought her scars that she received from spells and explosions during battles were ugly, to her they were badges of honor as she got her biggest supporters from Mr. Weasley, Bill, Fleur, Charlie, his wife Hayden, Fred, Aqua, George, Ariel, Jay, Mal, Cameron and Sophy that includes the Quints who are now 5 years old. They even stood up to Mrs. Weasley that Hermione's scars isn't something to be ashamed as they're the badges of honor from the war which cause Mrs. Weasley, Ginny, Harry and especially Ronald into a bit argument with everyone. It causes a lot of tension in the Burrow that month.
They hated her 'Mudblood' scar especially on her right arm the worst. Harry and Ginny both stated to cover it up; She refused as she put it on display, she was proud of her blood even though they have no idea of her real heritage as a Pureblood Royal Princess but, she had survived a crazy bitch rage just like her grandmother Hermione I did at her age 77 years ago. If her nana Hermione was still alive she'd be damn proud as she's one of the few to survive that kind of dangerous curses from a dangerous witch and shouldn't be ashamed where she came from.
She would never cover it up.
In the end Hermione decided to join the Ministry, she had never been prouder. However as predicted working with animals she received several scars and marks including Murtlap bites on her arms and legs and several small burns on her hands from handling baby Dragons and Blast-Ended Skrewts, to name a few.
Though after starting at the Ministry she noticed her friends became more suffocating and Ron just a tad more degrading. Ronald never wanted her talking to anyone but his family and Harry or Ginny, he never wanted her to go to work he wanted her to stay at home and get married. Hermione was not one to listen to rules anymore. She was tired of people telling her what to do especially the Weasley's.
Due to that harsh judgement she showed them she was unpredictable. She made new friends at the Ministry Gideon Corvish, the front Administrative Clerk who's a Half-Blood and Gryffindor, Barney Splivens who's a Pureblood wizard, in Hufflepuff who worked in the Department of Mysteries, Medea Everclaw, another Pureblood Slytherin Senior Secretary for the Beast Division and the three Purebloods Willowbeam triplets Marigold, Primrose, and Thumbelina, part of the Magical Trading Regulations, Magical Reversal Squad and Department of Law Enforcement respectively.
Everyone including Ginny and Harry were telling her what to do and how to do it. Ginny always tell her what to wear and what she did was dangerous. Harry always told her that she should listen to him and Ron because they were Aurors they knew best. She was furious when Harry told her that that she slapped him harshly on the face by telling him in a very cold tone to fuck himself and left leaving the last of the Potter's stunned as if she woke up from a horrible nightmare seeing his surroundings. That fury turned to resolve, and she showed them that when it came to Hermione Granger that they knew nothing. She wasn't a child or a teenager anymore. She stopped being one the minute the war started it made her grow up.
They needed to stop treating her like one as if she was made of glass it pissed her off. So she stopped holding herself back anymore and through she still followed the rules, she wasn't such a stickler for them and she was no longer a tattle-tale not that she ever was anyway. After being in the office all day, Draco Malfoy one of her best friends who always made sure she eats and sleep went to check on her one day seeing her inside her office he decided to catch up with the Gryffindor Princess.
"Hey Gryffindor Princess you still in the office eh?"
"Not in the mood Malfoy,"
"Oooh Malfoy someone ticked you off, because you usually call me Drake or Draco, or anything that wasn't Malfoy…someone got you in a bad mood?"
"Badly,"
"Let me guess…. Weasel, Weaselette and Potter,"
"….."
"So I was right huh?"
"I'm not really in the mood…"
"What happen this time?"
Hermione held her breath "They been telling me what to do and what to wear stating that my job was dangerous, Harry even stated that I should listen to him and Ronald considering they're aurors," she was taunting them causing Draco to stare at her as if she has three heads "What?"
"…..since when do you listen to anyone telling you what to do?"
"I don't …I just … I'm just so tired of everyone treating me like a bloody kid or a teenager. I haven't been one since war started,"
"…I noticed,"
"And the fact that they got into Harry's clutches isn't helping much after the fiasco we both had…he's been trying to talk to me but, something or someone always seems to break us apart from talking,"
"….why do you think that is?"
"Your guess is better than mine Dray…I'm just so tired …I've always loved magical creatures no matter how dangerous my job is …I'm the best one they have don't they?"
"Of course you're the youngest in your head just like I'm in the youngest in my Department as Healer thanks to your influence thanks for that by the way,"
"Anything for my best friend well … one of them anyway,"
"Not even Potter?"
"…last time I talked to him was six months ago,"
"Six months ago?'
"Yes,"
"Despite how you're all in the same building in Ministry?"
Hermione shrugged at this "It never stopped him before. Harry always the type of person to save people it's his thing,"
"And Weasel?"
"…I hardly know I haven't seen him at home that much either I've been too busy to take care of the Quints—Theseus, Seth, Lily, Zoey and Zander. They're going to be turning 5 years old soon I'm thinking of giving them a big birthday party,"
"What theme?"
"Disneyland,"
"Disneyland?"
"It's not a theme it's a theme park. I'm going to take them to Disneyland, it's in the States,"
"Really?"
"Yes one of my ex-boyfriends…gave me connections?"
"Which one?"
"Wouldn't you like to know,"
"Now I'm intrigued Princess who is this mysterious ex-boyfriend of yours and why in Salazar would he let you go,"
"It was a mutual decision …between us and I'm the godmother of his children with his husband Chase,"
"Chase?"
"He's gay Drake,"
"OoOooh,"
"Yes,"
"And you still keep in contact with him,"
"Well yes he's my best friend despite our breakup we always been friends before we decided to get together,"
"Interesting,"
"Mhmm,"
"So what are you going to do?"
"With what?"
"With the troubled Trio,"
"Trust me Ronald won't know what hit him. I already knew he's been cheating on me with a few of my friends who stated and witness beforehand that he's been cheating with other women behind my back,"
"I could've told you that,"
"Yes, you could but, I have many friends in muggle London he thinks that I won't find out. I'm not stupid and not known to be the smartest witch of her generation you know,"
"That I believe so what now?"
"Well I have no doubt that Ronald will find a way to mess things up he always does and as always I have to clean his mess but, not this time,"
"What does that mean?"
"Let's just say it's going to ruin not only his reputation but, as a hero and break the engagement all in one day,"
"Brilliant and I'll get the first seat to witness that,"
"I'll send you an owl when it does,"
"Good, and Potter?"
Hermione sighs "I'm not sure ...what to do with Harry but, with Ginevra I have some plans but, with Harry not so much yet...I have some tricks up my sleeve when it comes with the last Weasley clan,"
"Glad to know you finally see the true colors of the young Weasley's,"
"Yes, well if it wasn't for you, Blaise and Teddy I probably would've known,"
"He's a bloody idiot for letting you go Mia,"
"Thanks Drake I needed that,"
"Always. I'll see you later,"
"Of course I'll have Teddy stay with you and Narcissa for the weekend,"
"Thank you and I'll be sure to drop him off at yours. I'm glad we became friends Mia,"
"Me too Draco see you later,"
"See you later princess,"

Yes, there's going to be some flashbacks on how Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger became friends along with others but, for now we're just beginning the journey on how it all started. As you can see Hermione isn't the only child, she has many siblings who she's close with. It's going to take a whole army to take her down and will finally stand up for herself but, against Ronald B. Weasley and Ginevra M. Weasley. Not sure what's going to happen with Harry yet but, her friendship with him is still there they just haven't talked in so long and Harry is beginning to see the true colors but, something always seem to hold him back but, what. We're going to have to see and fid out shall we. Welcome the world of "Fool Out of Love"
