"Ready to go?" Eli looks at Clare lovingly, his hands on her waist. He was so in love with the young woman standing before him. She rests her hand on his tie gently taking it in her hands pulling him in for a kiss still holding on to his tie.
After a minute she pushes away so she could say "Yes I'm ready to go but first we should say bye to everyone then we can have the fun of our own" the blue-eyed smirks at her now-husband. Eli left speechless at the last part again she still has that effect on her god he fucking loved this woman ever since Degrassi.
"Yes, we can do that" Eli agreed to move his hand to her hand, intertwining their fingers which fitted perfectly, always been like since high school. The newlyweds made their way back onto the dancefloor where most people were. As there you reached one of the bridesmaids she turned around and noticed the couple.
"Clare!!" Alli wraps her arms around Clare but quickly pulls away smiling cheerfully. "So Mr and now Mrs Goldsworthys huh" she crossed her arms giggling she was so happy for them especially for her best friend Clare who she sees as a sister.
Clare giggles smiling "I know I still can't believe it but so happy that I finally married the love of my life" she looks between her best friend and husband blushing.
"And I was a witness of you two meeting " she tries not to cry "My baby grown-up" Alli fans her tears away.
Eli chuckles "Thanks Alli if you didn't throw Clare's broken glasses who knows where Clare and I are".
"You are welcome Goldsworthy but remember to break her heart you'll have me to have a talking to" Alli warns him looking at him seriously.
"I would never dare don't worry Alli" Eli truthfully says even though in the past he has hurt Clare he knows not to but also appreciates that Alli is protective of Clare.
"Good" Alli brightly smiles "Now enjoy your wedding night have all the fun" she smirks.
Clare blushes because she knows what Alli meant, same with Eli she had told Alli, Jenna, Darcy and Katie that she and Eli were going to use the honeymoon suite. "Thanks, Alli and you and Dallas have fun too" she responded she knows Alli and Dallas staying together and going home also. She hugs Alli one last time before Alli waves bye and disappears to look for Dallas.
Eli faces Clare and presses a kiss on her as she kisses back and pulls away "Now let's go check out that honeymoon suite" he flashes his smirk and a sly smile.
"Lead the way husband" Clare looks into his green eyes. Eli nodded as he led them to the honeymoon suite which was their house but that was a surprise that Eli did.
Once they reached the house that they had been living in since they moved back to Toronto a few months ago, their parents helped chipped in along with their friends so that they could afford a wedding and the house is rented but they have jobs so they managed. They got into the house, locking the door. He had the key, throwing it on the table carelessly. "This this perfect " Clare admired being carefully let down by Eli so now she was standing. She kicks off her shoes as Eli wraps his arms around her waist.
"You are even more perfect" Eli replied as he kicked off his shoes before wrapping his arms around her he wanted to get closer kissing down her neck earning soft moans from her he smirks at this.
