When Chief Healer Hermione introduces morphine to the magical world, without divulging that the muggles discovered it first, of course: she is hailed as a heroine by the public at large; that is, until the addictive quality of the opiate rears its ugly head. Now a pariah, Hermione feels that she must help the hundreds of wizards now suffering from withdrawal. Morphine, of course, was declared dark for its addictive qualities, but that doesn't stop the smartest witch of her age. After changing her appearance and magical signature with several rituals, Hermione strikes a deal with the traffickers in Afghanistan, and becomes the first Heroin Broker in the history of the magical world.
