Screams bellowed out into the night. The red Maw ever churning in torment. Ghastly clouds spun uncontrollably on the outskirts of her window. Sylvanas stood by; her eyes ever-glowing in their intensity. The war raged past behind the stalwart mask. Her teeth grit. The glimmer of her lips died into the dusky night sky. Images floundered inside her own mind. Tormented visions split her.

A face grew within her darkness. Its chiseled jaw basking in the rays of the void. Hope bled from the face's eyes; raining down like tears in the night. Screams shattered any remnant of inner peace. Her eyes glared at nothing. 'Why do these visions continue to haunt me?!' she wailed internally. Her fragile spirit broken and tattered. Anger surged like a typhoon inside her heart. Each beat battered her soul.

Dusky air; like whips of death, fought against her. Each thunderous crack echoed into her mind. Her thoughts fled. Chains lashed against her. Nails dug further into her tightening fist. A second face; dark and cold, swallowed the previous. Haunting laughter bled into her ears. "Shut up!" Sylvanas yelled. Rage swallowed her heart.

Rock fell into her room; each chip splattered the floor beneath her feet. Her fist bore further into the wall before her. Icy tendrils slipped past her hands. Each one coiled dangerously around her arm. The cold grip of death haunted behind her eyes. The red fire surged and died repeatedly.

Emotions twisted against her very spirit. Chips fell against a landslide of lashes. A seething laughter echoed out of the darkness. Her mind tore as the walls further crept skyward. Memories burned hot behind her mask. A dying hope flickered in the cold face. Its eyes lifeless. The once dignified presence diminished to nothing. A thread of strength hung on the edge; its existence on the very verge of collapse. The churning Maw ever farther in her sight.

Splits ravaged her inner thoughts. Each ponder screamed and fought itself. The lifeless face blended into the dark. Loss trickled throughout her system. A scowl landed on her lips; her very anger surged from her weakness. A dim light held strong against the frigid dark. Chains tightened around her heart, her mind, her spirit. Cries died to the internal pressure. Her hand broke free from the wall. The intensity of her vision befell her broken skin. No blood fell from her open wounds.

Another grit. Another grind. Her teeth lashed out against her mind. Haunts of the living gripped her still heart. The growing chains iced over. Death lingered into her abyss. The inner screams drowned out reality. Her sight inward. Her husk fully bare to her. Agony flashed like lightning throughout her thoughts. A tornado brewed within her. Each cut dug further into her being.

"You enjoyed it." a cold voice, haunted and still, carried out within her.

"Shut up!" Sylvanas ordered. Her tension high, her anger on full throttle. Rage and fear collided in her eyes. Twisted torment sat heavy on her head. The dusky hair coiled her waist. Her long brow furrowed against her will.

A wisp like being surged forth. Her mind eclipsed in shadow. Floating hauntingly still before her spirit. Coiled in chains, yet dominating them still. Her hair basked in the cold darkness. A void like glare shot down her soul. Darkness. The grip crept into her heart; the lingering fingers slithered against her walls. Torn memories hung beside her. The Banshee Queen commanded her attention.

"No, you loved it. Watching the little lion fall. Our little lion." The Banshee hissed. Her lifeless lips bore a chilling grin. Tendrils slithered out from her hands. Each second they inched closer to her spirit.

Sylvanas' anger flared up. Her inner glare on full intensity. "I said shut up!" she yelled, again. Her words failed her. Thoughts shattered before the inner ghost. Another fist, another hole. The wall subject her to beatings. Each blast echoed out from the closed room. "You do not control me!"

Malice drowned over her soul. Further walls crumbled like clay. Her defenses failing. Chills slithered across her mind. Deathly cold seeped through her closed lips before flailing out in her room. The screams of the maw as far as the stars. Sylvanas stood, alone. Her tired heart, alone. The fires of memory burned into her eyes. Her internal agony never known, never shared, never witnessed. Her mask stood, though cracked.

The grin grew larger. Her haunting lips spread ear to ear. The flowing hair danced in the void. Her elegance commanded the very depth of darkness. "Watching that young boy, so full and hopeful, come crashing down brought you joy. It brought you fullness." The Banshee gleed. The icy tendrils crawled across her spirit. The slither crashed her mind.

Silence hung on Sylvanas' lips. The darkness inside grew deeper. Her spirit cried in agony. Each cry swallowed by ice and death. Walls stood against the flurry. Whips of emotions tore through her. Her mind ransacked. The very calling of death echoed loudly in her ear. The flickering light sat still; its will fighting for every stolen second of life. The heat daring to fight against the gnawing cold. Holes filled her vision.

Words seeped out from the Banshee Queen. Her haunting glow ever more alluring. "Yes, silence that you so struggle to achieve. Yet will never have." The Queen chuckled. Each note dripped in hatred.

The chuckle split her thoughts. Words once made came tumbling down. Walls cracked under her inner pressure. A swirling void hung in her throat; swallowing the cries and arguments of her soul. Screams berated her memory. The lifeless face brought back. Its presence outstanding to her spirit. The hollow eyes burned her. Her face desperately tore away from the face's gaze. Her thoughts drowned. Each motion made carried the icy chains around her. "I did what was needed!" Sylvanas grasped, her words struggling to escape her void. Their power died upon exit.

The cold laughter preyed upon her. Her mind heavy in the lingering darkness. Tendrils coiled further against her. Their weight pulled her spirit down. Down into the gnawing void. Cracks fell against her. "You did as you were told, and enjoyed it." The Banshee smiled. Her fingers seeped into her spirit's hair. Cold grips blasted through Sylvanas' system. Each grip timed with the Banshee.

"I was not following orders like some doll!" Sylvanas screamed as regret immediately followed. Memories flashed past her eyes. The Banshee smirked against her. Hollow steps echoed in her thoughts. The sound tore apart her walls. Her heart breaking to the torment. Emotions filled her to the brim. Her mask cracked. Tears fell from the inner face. Its eyes, once lifeless, fainted a glow. The glow stopped her. Her mind split. The mouth hung open as if to speak. Drawing silence filled her mind; a silence of torture and agony. No peace held her. Her nails clawed into her skin.

Torn arms lingered in her sights. Her red eyes dimmed. Her face caught up by the whirlpool within. Screams inside, utter silence out. Her thoughts broke on the edge of the growing void. The tips of her lips curled. Agony ripped through her heart. "I am not to be controlled." Sylvanas stated. Her voice feigned confidence. Turmoil broke through her grasp. The walls crumbling around her.

Further and further the haunting grin grew. The Banshee's lips almost splitting her ghastly face. A deathly charm lingered in the malicious smile. "Says the one who has always been controlled." She laughed. Her voice shattering against the walls.

The flicker grew. Its heat radiated out against the cold. The lifeless face colored slowly. The tainted presence becoming purified. Eyes continued to gaze down upon her spirit. "I control myself!" She hissed. Her strength seeping back. Crashes of torment battered her defenses. The step forward on shallow ground. Sylvanas' war continued. Her glowing eyes focused inward.

"I control you. Just like the Jailer does now, and Arthas did before him." The Banshee reprimanded. Her grin turned into a scowl. The battle labored. Her chilling fingers clawed at the spirit before her. Chains hung twisted around her waist. Her dominance starting to wane.

Cracks slithered up her walls. Memories fired barrage after barrage. The fire burned hot against her. Lifeless death hung near. The growing void iced over. Her darkness intensified. Scrambles of light fled to the face. Color drained. The gaze slowly dying on her. Emotions whipped across her mind as her arm extended into the void. It's helpless grasps vying for something. Something gone, something once near now vanishing before her very eyes. Hollow steps blasted across her mind.

Whispers seeped into the corner of her mind. Her screams unable to drown them. Whispers of times past, times near, times present. Her mask crumbled into the dark. The strength once held vanished. A singular line crushed her. The weight immeasurable. The conflict of pain and comfort whipped through her system. The words rang out like thunder in her ears. I'm sorry.

Her mouth opened. Silent air brushed past her cold lips. Her long hair fell behind her. The dark queen grinned in delight. Sylvanas' darkness grew deeper. The gripping cold calling her. I'm sorry. The words pounded her walls, her chains, her spirit. The gnawing void failing to control the whispers.

"Yes. You are mine to control." The Banshee cheered. Her ghastly nails dug further into Sylvanas' spirit. The growing tendrils ever more daunting.

The inner face paled. Its mouth seemingly repeating the same line. Tears came splashing down from its eyes. Glares of the void further revealed the face. Hair; lifeless and still, hung past its cheeks. Her spirit raged against the heavy chains. The screams swallowed by her inner night, never to see the world. "I'm not…" Sylvanas paused. Her mind torn. Her thoughts scrambled. The fleeting maw blurred in her vision.

"You are mine!" The Banshee screeched.

Rocks shattered in her vision. Her anger boiled over. The churns of her system relit. Sylvanas' fist dug into the wall before her. The red of her eyes blazed. "I belong to no one!" She commanded. Her grip tightened on reality. The whispers slipped back into the void. Her memories halted the assault against her walls. Tears slithered across the floor of her mind. Silence entered back into the tornado that exists within. The mask replaced on her face.

Weight held against the back of her head. The face remained standing before her. The Banshee nowhere to be found. Creeping darkness coiled around the face. A cry leaked out of its lips. I'm sorry. The words floundered about the endless void. Alone. Sylvanas stood alone against the battered wall. Her vision returning to the surface and away from her husk. Her gaze pointed towards the swallowing Maw.

Her lips glimmered against the night. Red eyes focused off into the distance. The haunting face blended into the mists of her mind. Her walls rebuilt. The final words echoed off into her thoughts. "I'm sorry…" Sylvanas whispered. Her voice swallowed into the endless Maw outside. A hand sank into the broken stone wall.

The silent air shattered against a knock. The sound echoed through the still turmoil of her room. Another followed. Her eyes shot towards the door. Anger flared in her heart. A scowl graced her face. "What is it?!" She chided. Her anger not hidden in her tone.

"I bring news from the Master!" A voice called out from behind metal. The voice muffled against the heavy door.

Her eyes twitched. Irritation settled into her system. The cooling death breezed about her mind. The singular flicker still standing in the darkness. "What news do you bring then?" She inquired, impatiently. Her nails tapped against her dead skin. Clacks of her heels echoed silently in the air as she moved closer to the door.

"The weapon has been successful, and the second key will be arriving soon!" The guard reported.
