Alexa was allowed to sit in the back of the ambulance as John was being rushed to the hospital. She held his hand the entire time. She was trying to remain calm as she didn't want to make his condition worse.

Tears streaming down her face. Her make up and dress ruined but she didn't care about that. All she cared about right now was hoping John wouldn't die.

Once they got to the hospital John was stretchered over to the ER, and she had to sit in the waiting room. All she could do was pray.

At one point she got up and went over to the restroom. She sat down in one of the empty stalls and started crying again.

She couldn't hold it any longer.

"I'm sorry John. This is all my fault." "I let my feelings for you get the better of me. I shouldn't have you come to me and be my superhero. And you ended up becoming a target. And now you might ended up dying because of me."

"I can't lose you John. You're not only my bestest friend. But you're also the love of my life."

She kept crying until she couldn't cry no more. She got out of the stall and washed her hands.

She just finished drying her hands when her phone started vibrating. The caller ID said unknown.

She could feel anger building inside of her, knowing full well who was on the other end. She debated whether or not she should answer, but she wasn't going to be afraid. John would want her to stand up for herself.

She needed to give this person a piece of her mind.

She hit answer. First she heard laughter, then the person spoke. "I told you I'd take care of your little boyfriend."

"You son of a bitch!" she seethed through her teeth. "Nuh uh uh." the other person taunted. "I'd watch that language if I were you missy."

"You think I'm intimidated by you? Think again you bastard." Alexa growled. "You really think running over John makes you a real man. I think it makes you a coward and a bitch."

"You have no idea what I'm going to do to you when I finally get my hands on that tiny body of yours." the mystery person on the other line stated, determined.

"I don't know who you are, or what you assume I did to you to deserve all of this, and I really don't care. When I finally figure out who you really are, I promise you, I'm going to make you pay." she hung up before giving the creep a chance to reply.

Sorry for cutting this short, but I figure it was better to make this a short chapter.

Next chapter we'll find out if John Cena survives or not.

And whether or not Alexa will reveal her true feelings for John.
