It took 3 days for Percy to wake up. While he may have been the Devil, his constitution was still that of a normal demigod. Another thing that he shared with other Demigods- Dreams. Except his were weirder.
His 1st dream saw an older Percy, wings and all, walking around a city made of silver metal. Older Percy (who we will now call Perseus) seemed to be walking towards the center building. The outside was huge. It was in the shape of a modern day observatory, just without the telescope and was bigger than a normal one on Earth.
Inside was a huge Throne room with 2 main thrones and 2 smaller ones on each side. An African American man with Dark Grey wings, wearing a dark grey robe sat on the left, this was God's oldest angel, Amenadiel. The rest of the thrones were empty.
Percy watched as Perseus sat down. The entire meeting, the other 3 thrones never had anyone sitting there, and Perseus seemed to internalize it. When everyone was dismissed Perseus made his way outside to his house. It was simple, made for a family, despite him living alone. That was one of his dreams. A family. The dream ended with Perseus getting a brilliant idea.
The next dream began with Perseus beaten and bloodied. He was chained up and facing the 4 thrones from last time. Unlike last time, all 4 thrones were occupied. On the bigger one to the left sat another African American man with thin black hair and a graying beard. On the right bigger one sat a tan woman with long blonde hair. This was Perseus' father and mother, God and Goddess.
On the small right throne was a girl that looked to be in her Pre-teen years. Her black hair was cut into a bob. She had brownish-grayish wings, and wore a brown cloak with the hood down. This was Azrael, the angel of Death.
"For rebelling against Heaven, Perseus, you are sentenced to rule Hell until a later date." God said with his silky smooth voice.
Another angel who looked like Perseus walked over to him. "Well Perseus, looks like you didn't get what you desire." He said in an accent that would be known as American. He sounded like a dick. This was Perseus' twin, Michael, who was in fact, a dick.
Perseus let himself be taken to the edge. There, Perseus leapt out of Michael's grip and jumped off, falling into the place that would be his home for the next 2 millennia.
Percy woke up. A girl about his age, with tan skin, grey eyes, and blonde curly hair, sat next to him feeding him a weird food. It was like a lemon bar but didn't taste like anything he knew. The taste didn't even seem like food.
"What is going on with the summer solstice?" The girl asked.
"What?" Percy asked in response.
"What was stolen?" She asked.
"Look, miss, I don't know anything about an item being stolen." Percy said.
At that moment, Grover walked through the door. His face brightened at the sight of Percy. "Come on man, Chiron wants to see you." He said excitedly.
Percy slowly got up and walked out the door, following Grover. He walked through the camp taking in the view. Near the house where he dropped Grover off, was a valley that led to a beach with the ocean going as far as the eye could see. The land of the actual camp was dotted with buildings designed in Ancient Greek architecture. Buildings such as an open air pavilion, amphitheater, and circular arena, the only difference was they all looked newer.
Once they reached the house, Percy saw 2 people. One was an older looking man that Percy recognized as his Latin Teacher, Mr. Brunner. The other was someone that reminded Percy of Gabe. He was small and porky, with a red nose. He had curly hair so black it was almost purple. He looked like what people thought Cherubs looked like. He didn't know how he knew, but Percy knew that they did not look like how people depicted them. The man wore a leopard print Hawaiian shirt.
"Great, another brat I have to babysit." The man said.
"Mr. D, that is enough." Mr. Brunner said. "Have a seat Percy." Mr. Brunner gestured to a chair in between them.
Percy sat in the chair and scooted away from 'Mr. D'. "So, what is this place?" He asked.
"This, Percy, is the only safe place for people like you." Mr. Brunner said.
"People like me?" Percy asked.
"Demi-gods. Children of the Gods." Mr. Brunner said. He looked at Percy for his reaction. The children usually freaked out, or started denying it. Percy however, just looked bored.
"Why are you looking at me? Trying to find a reaction?" Percy asked.
"Well, yeah, usually people would freak out." Chiron admitted.
Percy just shrugged.
"Well, Cabin 11, and please use your manners." Mr. D said.
Percy started walking to the cabins that were arranged in the shape of a U. He assumed cabin 11 was the one with the big-ass 11 in bronze right above the doorway. The cabin was made of wood and looked really old and worn down. Walking inside actually felt like walking into his apartment. It was dirty and smelly. Something different though was that it was crowded. As in there were 12 beds and 13 people had to sleep on the floor with 2 people in each bed already kind of crowded.
A guy looking about 19 came up to Percy. He was tan, had blond hair and a scar over his right eye. He asked "Regular or Undetermined?" Percy didn't know what they meant but his instinct told him to say undetermined. So he did, and everyone else groaned. The 19 year old said "Don't groan people, that's what we're here for!' He then introduced himself. "Luke Castellan, Son of Hermes." Luke held out his hand.
Percy shook it. "Percy Jackson. But you can call me Lucifer."
This took the entire cabin by surprise. Someone near the back shouted out, "LIKE THE DEVIL?" Percy smirked, and nodded his head. "And why would we call you that?" Luke asked. Percy again smirked.
He stepped up to Luke, which looked hilarious because he was 12, looked Luke in the eyes and asked, "What is it you desire?" Percy's eyes turned darker, blacker, than how they were.
"I...I... desire... to teach my dad a lesson!" Luke exclaimed. "Why.. why did I tell you that?"
"And that, is why I'm called Lucifer." Percy said with a ta-da look on his face.
The conch shell dinner sounded, and everyone lined up to go to dinner. There Percy sat with half of his butt hanging off of the bench. He summoned Blue Coke into his goblet and sacrificed some of his food to Hestia, who he remembered was a pretty cool goddess. He had noticed a 9 year old tending the Hearth when he was walking to Cabin 11 and had his suspicions. . He sat back down and finished his meal.
At the campfire, he noticed everyone was ignoring the 9 year old, so he walked over to her and sat. "I'm guessing you are not actually nine?" He asked the child.
The girl looked up in surprise. No one ever noticed her, and this boy just asked her if she was even 9. "Uh, no, I'm technically a little over 9,000." She said shyly.
"Well, you look good for it." Percy said. "I'm gonna assume you are Hestia."
The girl, now known as Hestia, was shocked. Not only had he noticed her, but knew who she was as well? He was truly special. She decided to look into his soul. And what she saw shocked her. 'Looks like the prophecy is starting. "The Devil will walk the Earth."' Hestia mused.
"Well, you would be correct. I am that goddess. I also see that you do not bow, why is that? Not that you should bow to me, I am just curious." Hestia asked.
"Well. If Greek 'Mythology' is real, it stands to reason that other pantheons exist. One such being that of Christianity. Which would mean that there is a God, and that would just make you deities, not gods as there is one True God." Percy said, having been thinking this since his dream that morning.
Hestia was surprised again. None of her family had thought of that. Just then, Chiron announced that Capture The Flag was on Friday and that it was now time to go to bed.
LINE BREAK
The week passed quickly. One thing he did was piss off the entire Ares cabin by escaping initiation by exploding the toilets. Since then the camp had been trying to figure out who Percy's parent was, but they were stumped. He sucked at Archery, he was bad at wrestling, he lost races to the Dryads, and only seemed to be good at canoeing.
Until Percy had to learn how to sword fight. Now, Percy had a sword, but he didn't want to answer where he got it, and Percy DID NOT lie. So he used the regular swords, but they were all unbalanced. That lesson did not go well until Percy poured water on himself. He used the technique where he lodges the blade between the opponent's cross guard and blade then twisted, effectively disarming your opponent.
That night was Capture The Flag. Percy had to stand near the creek and... he just had to stand there. He thought he heard rustling from behind him but it quickly vanished. Just then, in front of him, 6 Ares' kids charged at him, Clarisse in the lead.
2 of the burly boys grabbed him and held him in front of Clarisse. They did not notice that they were in the creek and Percy felt stronger, faster and more skilled. Clarisse walked up to him slowly. "I am going to enjoy this so much." Clarisse said.
"Before you do that, tell me, what is it you desire?" He asked while looking into her eyes.
"I... I want to impress my dad." She said.
"Fine then." He said, before breaking out of their grip and brandishing his unbalanced sword. He knocked out the one that held his right arm, before quickly knocking out the one that held his left. He punched #3 in the gut then slammed his hilt into the guy's helmet. He speedily knocked out the other 2 leaving him with Clarisse.
"So... you DO have some fight in you after all." She said with a sadistic smile on her face. She lunged with her spear; a very big mistake. Percy swung down and sliced through it like it was butter, then slammed his hilt between her eyes, making her crumple to the ground.
At that moment, the team that Percy was, Blue, rushed through the clearing celebrating Luke getting the flag. Their celebration was quickly cut off as a howl sounded through the air.
A huge, black dog, with red glowing eyes burst through the bushes. Before anyone could draw their weapons, the Hellhound leapt towards Percy and bowed it's head. 'I'm sorry m'lord, I didn't recognize you. You have been gone too long.' It said in Percy's mind.
"Hold your fire!" Percy said with so much authority, they just complied instantly. 'What is your name?' Percy asked it in a language that no one recognized.
'Mrs. O'Leary m'lord.' Mrs. O'Leary said.
'Don't call me lord. Just Percy will do.' Percy said.
Just then everyone gasped. Percy was bathed in Sea-Green light. He looked above him. In the air was a glowing Sea-Green Trident. Chiron and the rest of the campers bowed. "It is determined. Hail Percy Jackson, SON OF POSEIDON!" Chiron announced.
