"REPENT! SAVE YOUR SOUL!" A street preacher yelled to the crowd of people walking by. "THE DEVIL WALKS AMONG US!"

Percy happened to be walking past when he heard this and decided to have some fun. "Padre, you have no idea how right you are. No reason to be so angry about it. Enjoy the ride."

A passerby threw a couple of coins into the preachers cup. "Bless you." He said to him. Then turned back to Percy. "Have you seen the face of the Devil?"

Percy scoffed lightly. "Every morning when I look in the mirror pal."

The preacher's face broke into a smile. "Exactly. He's in all of us. In our every moment of weakness." Percy's smile faded. "Look at this world! The sin. The lust! It is the Devil's touch!"

"Nonononono, don't give me credit for all that! You humans do plenty all on your own." Percy said.

The preacher walked to Percy and turned off his microphone. He started doing hand gestures as he began talking. "What's your problem pal?"

"Excuse me?"

"Yea, why don't you move your schtick along. I'm not sharing my tips with you if that's what you're angling for." The preacher said, still doing hand gestures.

"Oooh, right! Is this a performance? Are you like the Chewbacca and Spider-Man down the street. I have to say, you're very good."

"Yea, so why don't you go bother them, you're bad for my business." The preacher pushed his hand outward and stepped back from Percy, all while turning his microphone back on.

"The Devil-" The preacher started.

"Isn't finished with you yet." Percy said. "You see, what I hate more than anything is a liar. A shunt. Someone who doesn't believe in what they say."

The preacher turned to look at Percy. "What are you gonna do about it?"

Percy stepped up to the preacher. "Why, make you a believer, of course!" He said, stepping closer to the preacher. He showed the fraud of a man, his Devil-face, causing him to run away screaming. "Stay away. HE'S THE DEVIL! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. THIS ISN'T A PERFORMANCE, HE'S THE DEVIL!"

The preacher threw the tip money up in the air. The people that were crowding around the duo during their little fight, rushed forward to get it. Percy smiled and said to them. "It's true. It is true."

Percy stepped through them. "I'm here till, the end of time actually." he finished, doing a little spin near the end while chuckling.

LINE BREAK

"Percy stood on a pier that looked out onto the sea. It was anything but peaceful. There seemed to be a hurricane raging across the sky, making Percy glad he had super-strength. He looked to the mainland to see a small figure running away.

Percy flew over to the figure to see the figure which turned out to be Grover.

You see, Grover had gotten his searcher's license. He had left before the summer's end. The only clue that Percy had about Grover's whereabouts was that he was going to start looking in Florida.

Before he left though, he made an off handed comment about Pan and humans wouldn't mix well. Percy understood. And he was fine with it. Until he had a dream about the time he and Pan had bonded over the beauty of nature. Percy had a newfound appreciation for nature after being in Hell for millennia, where all he saw was rock spires and falling ash.

Now he wished he could've gone with Grover to find his old friend.

Back to the point. Grover was running from something. Percy looked at what appeared to be a huge shadow. He turned back to Grover who had just ran into a wedding dress store.

He seemed to be muttering, "I need to warn them." over and over again.

Suddenly, Grover was snatched by the shadow who only said one word. "MINE!"

And with that, Percy woke up.

LINE BREAK

The last day of school had been going well for Percy. He had been passing his final exams, and now it was time for gym. All day, the school bully, Matt Sloan had been talking about Percy finally getting what he deserved.

Apparently, it came in the form of a dodgeball game. The visiting kids who Sloan had been hanging out with were all on Sloan's team. Percy got everybody else.

It was a losing match. Percy had tried to be a normal kid in school, didn't want to freak the rest of them all out. Sure, he said he was the Devil, but no one believed him. He soon realized that he was going to have to reveal himself and punish the opposing team.

The new kids grew into large giants. Laistrygonians. The rubber balls of the dodgeball game disappeared at the wave of a hand from one of the giants. In their place laid glowing red celestial bronze balls.

The monsters picked up one in each hand and threw them at Percy since he was the only one that was in their sights. Everyone else was hiding. All the balls crashed into the fallen archangel. There was a large dust cloud surrounding Percy, which caused the monsters to celebrate.

The dust cleared to reveal Percy looking unharmed and bored. He looked at the giants with a raised eyebrow. "You done?"

The giants backed up as Percy walked forward. What the students behind Percy couldn't see was Percy showing the giants his Devil-face.

Percy reached the one with Joe Bob tattooed on his forehead and pushed him with 2 fingers. 'Joe Bob' went flying into the wall, and turned to dust. Percy repeated this progress with the other giants.

Apparently one of the giants had missed when they all threw their balls at Percy, because there was a giant hole in the wall behind him. Percy grabbed his friend Tyson and they jumped out of the hole.

Wait... You don't know who Tyson is? Well, he was a homeless kid who was built like the abominable snowman and was mentally younger. He had been accepted to Meriwether College Prep for their 'Community Service' project. Oh, and he was a cyclops.

The mist didn't affect Percy like it did other demi-gods. So he was able to see Tyson's one eye very clearly. He had explained to Tyson what he was and all that.

Anyway, Percy flew him and Tyson to Camp Half Blood. When they got there, they saw that the camp was under attack by two bronze bulls. Clarisse and a squad of people were fighting the bulls, but they were failing badly.

Percy took one and Tyson the other. They handled the bulls by punching them in the face. They dragged the bulls to the Hephaestus cabin so they could use the metal.

Percy was confused. How did the bulls get through the border. Thalia's tree should've stopped them from coming into the camp. He walked over to the tree and what he saw shocked him.

The tree was poisoned.

And the poison came from Hell.
