"Oh, Sinnerman, where you gonna run to?

Sinnerman, where you gonna run to?

Where you gonna run to?

All along dem days

Well I run to the rock, please hide me

I run to the Rock, please hide me

I run to the Rock, please hide me

All along dem day

But the rock cried out, I can't hide you

The Rock cried out, I can't hide you

The Rock cried out, I can't hide you

All along dem days

So I ran to the devil, he was waitin'

I ran to the devil, he was waitin'

I Ran to the devil, he was waitin'

All on that day

I cried, power

Power

Bring down

(Power to da Lord)

Bring down

(Power to da Lord)

Power to THE LOOOOOOORD!" Percy sang as he played the piano.

The crowd of middle school students cheered as Percy finished singing. Percy smiled as he bowed. "Lucifer Morningstar, everyone!" The teacher said as Percy walked off of the stage.

Now, you might be wondering what Percy was doing. Well, he was "blending in", as Thalia put it. We should probably start this part from the beginning.

LINE BREAK

"Two?"

"Yes, two, and they have strong scents. They kind of remind me of you, though less ash and torment, and just death..."

"Alright, when would be the best time to pick them up?"

"Probably at the dance. Do you have a suit?"

"Yeah, I have a lot, do you need one?"

"Yes, please?"

Percy laughed. "Of course."

LINE BREAK

Percy's mom gave him and Thalia a ride to Westover. The entire time she told Thalia embarrassing stories about him when he was little. The entire time Percy had a smile on his face.

When they arrived, Thalia got out 1st. Percy stuck back for a couple of minutes. She was going over everything that Percy needed. "Alright, I think that's everything." She said when she was done.

He turned to his mom. "Love you!" He said, pausing. "And for the record, you're a better mom than Goddess ever was."

After that bombshell, he got out of the car. The cousins walked into the military school, only to be stopped by 2 teachers. They seemed to walk as if broomsticks were taped to their backs.

"Well, what are you doing here?" The woman asked.

Percy took the lead. He looked the woman in the eyes. "What is it you desire?"

"To... to be a ballerina."

"Go do that." Percy said. He turned to the man. When he looked into his eyes, he didn't ask a question. He just smiled and said, "Interesting."

From Thalia's perspective, her friend just revealed someone's 'desire' and made the other teacher flinch. They walked into the dance.

They saw Grover by the punch and decided to start there. When the satyr saw them, he ran over to them. "Glad you two could make it."

"Same. So, what are the details?" Percy asked.

"As I said, there were 2. Bianca and Nico Di Angelo." He said, pointing to the 2 kids. "But there is a complication."

"Let me guess... monster?" Thalia asked.

Grover nodded.

"Do you know what it is?" Percy asked.

"Dr. Thorn. The vice principal."

"Alright, we should split up, and act natural." Thalia said.

Grover went back to his punch, while Thalia went to hang out wherever the punk kids hung out. Percy looked around, before his eyes settled on a poster next to the stage. It was hanging off of a table. It read something about how if you signed up, you could sing or perform on stage. "Hello." he said to himself.

He walked over to the student running the table. "Can I sign up for this?"

"Name?" The student asked.

"Lucifer. Morningstar."

"Is that a stage name or something?"

"God given, I'm afraid." Percy said.

The student looked up, unimpressed. "Any requests?"

"Yeah, do you have a piano?"

LINE BREAK

And that catches you up.

Percy walked off stage and looked to where Grover had pointed at, only to see the kids missing. He cursed to himself and looked around. By the double doors on the other end of the cafeteria, was Thorn steering the kids outside.

He followed the monster into the wintery weather. He had to say, after the millennia he had spent in Hell, this little trip topside had been just what he needed. The weather changed and just wasn't HOT all the time. In fact, he was hoping to maybe get a request to his dad about maybe getting a weather change every once in a while. Then again, he and his dad weren't exactly on speaking terms. The only thing that would make this better would be if Zoë was here, and she was on Earth, but she wasn't with him.

This was going through his head as he followed the prints in the snow. He crept along, eventually seeing the disguised monster looking off to the horizon, a firm hand on each of the siblings.

Percy walked up and stopped a few feet behind them. Thorn sensed the demigod behind him and turned around. "So, the arrogant demigod comes alone. You're no match for me, much less the forces that we'll have due to the stirring of monsters!" He said.

Percy just brought out Riptide and uncapped it. Thorn transformed into his true form, the Manticore. It roared ferociously, before shooting a poisoned spike at Percy, only for it to bounce off harmlessly. The Manticore's eyes widened.

In the woods, a certain group was watching the interaction. Artemis watched with wide eyes as the poisoned spike just glanced off of the son of Poseidon. Her Lieutenant had her eyes wide, but for another reason.

When Zoë had given Percy Riptide, she had but an enchantment on it, one that allowed only him and her to wield. How did this demi-mortal wield it? And how dare he?!

The entire group almost gasped when they saw him put the sword away. 'Looks like the Manticore was right. He is arrogant.' They thought.

"You know, I've been meaning to give my wife these if we ever ran into each other again, but I think they need a little breaking in." He said, pulling out 2 curved demon blades. They resembled a karambit knife, but they looked way more demonic looking. "She has a pair, but these are the ones that I gave her for a wedding gift. These can kill immortals." Percy said, flipping the knives around his finger, which he could do because of the finger ring in the handle.

He got into a stance, flipping the blades into an icepick grip.

As soon as she saw this, she realized that somehow, her husband had turned into this demigod. Zoë allowed a small smile to cross her face. She remembered when he first taught her how to wield a karambit, he had used that exact stance. She watched as he charged forward, and jumped over the Manticore's head, landing on its back.

The Manticore tried to shake him off, but Percy had put one of the daggers in his mouth, using his free hand to hold on tightly to the Manticore's fur. With his other hand, he stabbed the knife into its head, before pulling it out, and stabbing it again.

The Manticore dissolved into golden dust, making a color change in the snow.

Percy looked at the kids. Now, kids irked Percy. They very rarely ended up in Hell, and with him and Zoë not having some of their own yet, he didn't know how to interact with them. So he decided to use the empathy link that Grover had set up, to get him and Thalia out here.

The satyr and daughter of Zeus came running out of the school. "Where's the monster ?" She asked.

"Dead. The kids are fine. I'm not good with children, and I know you aren't, Thalia, so Grover, can you talk to them?" Percy asked.

Before Grover could respond, a hunting horn sounded from the woods. "Huh, the Hunters." Thalia said in disgust.

Percy had the direct opposite reaction. Of course, he couldn't show it, the questions would be hard to answer, but he looked throughout their ranks, trying to find his queen. And there she was, next to whom he assumed was Artemis.

The Queen of Hell was back.

A/N. So, what do you think? Percy and Zoë's reunion will either be the next chapter or the one after that, depending on when I want to end the next chapter. Also how was that fight scene, was it better or worse than normal? Constructive criticism is always welcome. (Though fight scenes are just hard for me to do, but I'll try.)

Also, the trailer for Lucifer season 5B dropped and by God, does it look fucking awesome! May 28th!
