Eighth Wonder of Jurassic World

Chapter 2

Claire was driving the truck with her nephews riding in the back as they all just narrowly escaped the Raptor pack.

As she drove Claire asked, "Are you boys okay?"

Her nephews opened the slot in the back and looked through it to the driver's area as Zach said, "Did you see that?"

Grey sat up and peered through the window as he happily said, "I can't wait to tell mom."

Claire kept driving as she nervously said, "Oh please! Do not tell your mother!"

The Raptor trainer, Owen Grady, drove his motorcycle behind the truck and Grey saw him and exclaimed, "Owen!"

Zach saw him also and happily shouted, "Owen!"

Owen drove his motorcycle next to the truck and looked at Claire as he said, "We gotta get indoors! Follow me!"

He drove in front of her truck and she pulled out her phone, called someone, and said, "Larry! We're heading your way. Call in a chopper."

They drove off with the two raptors chasing them until they heard the Indominus Rex roar, then they both stopped and ran into the jungle.

As they continued driving Owen glanced back at Claire and said, "Wait that was Delta and Echo! Where's Blue?"

Claire stared at him ahead of her and said, "She got separated from the rest. The good news is the Indoraptor is dead. Kong killed it."

Grey was surprised as he inquired, "Kong's loose too?"

Claire glanced at him and Zack and nervously said, "Yes but don't worry, he's nowhere near us."

Suddenly they heard the loud roar of the Indominus again, but this time it sounded like it was closer.

Zach got nervous as he said, "It's not coming here right?"

Claire was nervous as well but tried to calm him down as she said, "Don't worry, everything will be fine."

Suddenly the Indominus Rex came charging out of the trees roaring and ran straight for the group; Owen got out of the way but the Indominus turned her attention to the truck. Claire, Zach, and Grey screamed in terror as Claire swerved to avoid the monster and drove straight into the jungle. The Indominus Rex pursued and Claire looked in the rearview mirror and saw how close it looked as it came closer and roared loudly. It came next to them and swung its head upward towards the side of the truck, denting it and almost knocking it over. They screamed as Claire kept driving while the back doors of the truck shook and Zach and Grey held on for their lives. They stared out the back of the truck when the Indominus Rex lowered its head and looked at them inside while pursuing the truck.

It came closer and stuck its snout inside the truck and tried to eat the two boys, but they stayed out of reach as the truck began to pull away from her. However, the Indominus Rex slashed its claws at the truck and then bit down on the roof of it to try to keep it from pulling away. She tore off some metal and Claire began to have trouble steering and then the Indominus jerked its head up and knocked the back of the truck forward. Owen looked back and saw them but kept driving to avoid getting run over or eaten by the monster. The truck was turned to the left and Claire lost control and ended up driving the truck down a steep hill into the jungle. The Indominus stopped and watched the truck go downhill as Claire, Zach, and Grey all screamed their heads off and the Indominus Rex roared loudly.

Elsewhere, Kong was walking through the trees when he suddenly heard the echo of the Indominus Rex roar as well as the screams of the three humans. He turned his head in shock and curiosity and then proceeded in the direction of the sound, determined to challenge the monster again. The Indominus Rex roared as it prepared to go after the truck, but Owen shot his gun at it, just missing it and breaking a branch near its head. The beast turned its attention to him as he stared it down and put his gun back on his back before grabbing the handle bars of his motorcycle.

He stared at it and fearlessly shouted, "Come and get me!"

He revved up his motorcycle and turned around as the Indominus Rex roared and chased after him, leaving the area. Shortly after it left and chased Owen Kong burst out of the trees and stood on the road as he glanced around, surveying the environment. He hooted like a gorilla a few times and then sniffed the air and picked up the Indominus' scent. He was about to run after it as he let out a small roar, but then he heard a different roar coming from inside the jungle down the hill. The roar sounded different from the Indominus and sounded like it came from a bigger dinosaur, so Kong turned in its direction. He also looked down and noticed the tire tracks from the truck that had just gone downhill, and they led in the direction of the roar he heard. Kong hesitated looked down the road but then decided to follow the roar and took off into the jungle, following the tire tracks. At the bottom of the hill the truck had crashed into a tree and was out of order, and Claire groaned as she came to.

She glanced around and her memory returned as she ran out the truck and to the back while shouting, "Oh my god! Zach! Grey! Are you two okay?!"

She ran around the back and looked inside the truck, the doors were wide open and she gasped in fear. She saw Zach groaning as he came to, but she noticed that he was by himself and that Grey was completely absent.

Claire climbed in and helped Zach as she asked, "Are you okay?"

Zach cringed in pain as he said, "No, not really but I'll live."

He opened his eyes and glanced around and then got worried as he said, "Where's Grey?!"

She was just as worried as she said, "I don't know!"

They both jumped out the back of the truck and glanced around as they hoped for him to be close by. They shouted his name a few times hoping for a response, until they heard the sound of a motorcycle approaching.

Owen came and stopped in front of them as he said, "I lead her away and managed to shake her. You okay?"

Claire ignored the question and hastily explained, "Grey's missing! We have to find him before anything else happens!"

Owen got off his motorcycle and said, "I'll find him, you two get another truck."

Zach refused as he firmly said, "I'm not going anywhere until I find my brother!"

Claire placed her hand on Zach's shoulder and said, "And I am not leaving him as long as he lives!"

Owen sighed in exasperation and began to turn as he said, "Alright. Stay close and follow me, and stay quiet. We don't want anything else to find us."

He started walking and they followed him as they began searching for Grey together; elsewhere Grey lied unconscious at the bottom of the hill far from them. He came to and groaned as he got on his feet, despite the aches he felt from falling out of the truck and rolling down the hill.

He opened his eyes as he glanced around in fear and said, "Hello? Zach? Aunt Claire?"

He saw that no one was around as he took a couple steps back and nervously exclaimed, "Oh crap! What now?!"

He turned and looked every which way, he didn't even know which direction to go; he could go back uphill but he was worried the Indominus Rex might still be up there. He didn't know which way his aunt or brother were or how to even get back to the main park, he was very afraid. He jumped in fear as he heard a noise but it turned out to only be a bird, he sighed in relief but was still afraid as he looked around. He panted slightly but then noticed the sound of running water and turned around to follow the sound to its source. He walked through the jungle and paid attention to his surroundings as he heard the sound get louder. Soon he reached a river and came to the bottom of a small waterfall and watched the water flow further down to a wider area.

He stared at the river and walked closer as he thought out loud, "Well I am really thirsty."

He walked over to the shallow end and kneeled down before using his hands to cup some water to drink. He sipped the water out of his hands and then splashed it on his face to help cool off from the heat and from sweating so much. Suddenly he heard a dinosaur noise nearby and looked ahead to see two Parasaurolophus standing on the other side of the shallow end of the river. They drank the some water before making some bellowing sounds, while Grey couldn't help but stare at them in amazement. Deciding to get closer, he waded across the river and slowly approached the Parasaurolophus as they looked at him curiously. They took two steps back as he got out of the water and onto the riverbank and slowly reached his arm out toward them, careful not to startle them.

Grey's hand was inches away from one's face as he softly said, "Hi…"

His fingers barely touched the nose of the Parasaurolophus before both turned and looked past Grey, then they both turned around and ran off.

Grey ducked to avoid one's tail when it turned around, "Wait where are you going?!"

They ran off and made loud cries of fear, and when they were gone Grey got a bad feeling before he turned around and discovered why the Parasaurolophus ran away. Standing on the other side of the river where Grey previously was, was none other than the towering Spinosaurus. It growled a bit while it stared at the young boy, waiting him to make his first move so that it could chase and eat him. Grey was paralyzed by fear, he knew a lot about the Spinosaurus, how it was big and powerful enough to kill a T-Rex and how it was an excellent swimmer. He had also heard stories about the Spinosaurus on the island of Isla Sorna and how it had easily killed two people.

Grey kept staring at the Spinosaurus as he softly whispered, "Crap."

He immediately turned around and made a dash for the jungle, and the Spinosaurus roared loudly as it followed him. Grey glanced backward as he entered a thick canopy of trees and ran underneath a huge tree branch, but it only slowed down the Spinosaurus. A few twigs broke as it entered the jungle and knocked down the huge branch as it kept chasing Grey while roaring. Grey kept running for his life as the Spinosaurus got closer, but Grey ran between two thick trees and it got stuck for a moment. But after realizing it couldn't get through it backed up and went around the trees, passing some bushes, and over some fallen logs. It stomped its feet and crushed the logs as it kept pursuing Grey, who it still had in sight; Grey glanced over his shoulder and could see the Spinosaurus. He didn't stop as he kept running, not paying attention to where he was going, and so he tripped on an exposed tree root and fell to the ground. He groaned as he lied on the ground for a few seconds but then turned to see the Spinosaurus had caught up to him and tried to crawl away as it stepped closer and closer. Soon it became clear he couldn't escape so Grey turned over and got on his back as he stared in fear at the enormous carnivore.

It moved its head closer down toward him while Grey panicked and said, "No no no! Please no! Come on!"

It roared and opened its mouth wide, preparing to eat the boy, but it stopped when it heard another roar nearby. Grey was also shocked as he heard the roar, and could tell it was not the roar of any dinosaur; he heard some rumbling and noticed some trees shaking as the source came closer by the second. Not long the source of the roar came leaping from a large rock formation and landed behind Grey and stared straight at the Spinosaurus. It was Kong. The giant ape stared at the Spinosaurus with a fierce death glare, for he was not afraid of this beast.

The Spinosaurus stared at him while growling and Grey got up and stared in awe as he said, "Megaprimatus, named Kong."

He looked over his shoulder at the Spinosaurus, to see it was now not interested in him as it turned its attention to Kong. The Spinosaurus roared at Kong, and he roared back at it; seeing his opportunity Grey ran out from between them and behind a nearby tree trunk. He stopped and peaked out from behind it to see the two animals, as afraid as he was part of him wanted to see what was about to happen.

The Spinosaurus curved its tail and bore its claws while Kong grunted and Grey said, "This is gonna be awesome."

The Spinosaurus then lunged at Kong and snapped its jaws but Kong avoided them and the second it closed its mouth Kong grabbed its snout and held it shut. The Spinosaurus was unable to open its mouth and began struggling but Kong stood up on two legs and pushed its head up to where its snout was pointing to the sky.

Kong roared and Grey watched and softly said to himself, "A Spinosaurus' muscles for opening the jaw are much weaker than for closing, just like crocodilians."

Kong kept holding its head up and kept its mouth shut, but the Spinosaurus began slashing its claws at Kong and managed to scratch his chest. Kong screeched in pain but maintained his grip, but then the Spinosaurus reached its arms up and dug its claws into Kong's arm. Kong let out a roar of pain and released the Spinosaurus, which then charged at Kong and knocked him on his back.

Kong quickly got back up and Grey kept watching as he nervously said, "The Spinosaurus' main weapons are its arms and claws."

The Spinosaurus launched towards Kong's face with its jaws open, but Kong swung his right back fist at its head and knocked it to the side. The Spinosaurus fell down on its stomach and landed right next to the tree Grey was hiding behind, its head was only two feet away from Grey. He pressed his back to the tree trunk and stared at the Spinosaurus in fear; it got up and briefly stood on all fours for a minute before getting back on its feet. It walked around the tree and almost crushed Grey but he ran out of the way and hid behind another tree. He watched as the Spinosaurus came at Kong, who tried to swing both his fists down on its head, but it moved backwards and dodged his fists. The Spinosaurus came at Kong and tried to bite his head, but Kong quickly raised his left arm and blocked it, the Spinosaurus bit down on Kong's arm instead. Kong let out a small cry of pain but did not give up as he stood up on two legs and roared at the Spinosaurus.

Grey kept watching as he said to himself, "The Spinosaurus can't beat Kong by biting him. Kong's too tough and its teeth aren't big enough."

Kong tried to pull his arm free from the Spinosaurus' mouth but it walked backwards and pulled Kong with it. Kong was now standing on his feet and right hand as it dragged him every which way as it walked backwards.

As the Spinosaurus kept dragging Kong around Grey humbly admitted, "But its teeth are good for grabbing prey."

The Spinosaurus turned and dragged Kong every which way, knocking down a few branches while Kong roared and tried to pull his arm free. The Spinosaurus backed up toward Grey, who ran out of the way while screaming and then watched the two beasts continue. Kong roared as he stood upright and pounded his right fist on the Spinosaurus twice before it released his arm. With his left arm now free Kong swung the back of his left fist at its face and almost knocked it down as it turned its body. Kong got down on his knuckles and stared down the Spinosaurus as it looked back at him and growled viciously with its claws out. Kong roared and then charged at the Spinosaurus but it slashed the claws of its left arm at him and knocked him down. Kong had a few small scratches on his face but they did not deter him as he stared forward furiously. He grabbed an old log and lifted it up as he turned around and swung it down on top of the Spinosaurus' head, breaking the log to pieces as it forced the dinosaur to the ground.

Grey was amazed as he got excited and yelled, "Oh my god! Go Kong!"

The Spinosaurus got back up and quickly charged at Kong before biting on his right upper arm, prompting Kong to roar in pain. Kong swung his left fist at the side of the Spinosaurus' face, knocking it away and prompting it to release his arm. Kong then turned his back to the Spinosaurus and wrapped his right arm around its neck, trapping it in a semi-headlock. The Spinosaurus roared as it stomped its feet, lashed its tail, and jerked its head in an attempt to escape Kong's grasp. It shook around as Kong held it in place and swung his left fist on its head, then he whirled it around and almost threw it away. It stayed on its feet but stumbled and knocked down a few small trees before falling to the ground. It got back up and roared at Kong, who roared before he jumped toward it and rammed the left side of its body, knocking it back again. Grey walked through the trees and followed the fight, stopping behind a tree trunk and watched the exciting battle. The Spinosaurus growled as it circled around Kong, who pounded his fists on the ground while roaring. The Spinosaurus snapped its jaws at Kong but he dodged them and grabbed its snout to hold its mouth shut again.

While he watched Grey softly said to himself, "Go for the sail. Go for the sail."

Instead Kong stepped to the side and yanked on the Spinosaurus' mouth, throwing the beast to the ground again. It promptly got back up just as Kong jumped toward it, but it swiftly got out of the way as Kong fell to the ground. It roared loudly as it came at him with its claws out, but Kong raised his left forearm to block its attack. The Spinosaurus dug its claws into Kong's forearm, which made him cry in pain, and then it pushed down to try to pin Kong to the ground. Kong lied on his back with his left arm just above his chest as the Spinosaurus pushed down on him and snapped its jaws at his face. Kong was just out of reach of the Spinosaurus' jaws but was still pinned down by the enormous carnivore. Kong raised his feet and pressed them against the Spinosaurus underbelly and pushed it back, forcing it off him as it stumbled backwards away from Kong and toward Grey. Grey screamed as he hid behind the tree, but the Spinosaurus stopped before it could get too close to him, then Grey peaked as Kong got back up.

As he watched Grey softly said, "Kong survived by being the strongest animal on Skull Island."

The Spinosaurus regained its footing and charged into Kong and forcing him backwards through the trees, prompting Grey to follow. Soon they came back to the river but to a different area of it; now they were in a much wider and deeper part of the river, surrounded by short cut banks. The drop from the cut banks to the river was no more than two feet, but they were still very steep and rough leading to an underwater canyon. Grey stood behind a tree trunk and watched as Kong stood with his back to the river with the Spinosaurus in front of him.

Grey was worried as he said, "Oh crap! If the Spinosaurus gets Kong in the water he's dead!"

The Spinosaurus lunged at Kong and tried to bite him again but Kong dodged its jaws and swung his right fist upward, knocking the Spinosaurus' head up. The Spinosaurus slashed its claws at Kong's chests, which made Kong let out a loud cry of pain as he turned around and stood upright while covering his chest. The Spinosaurus immediately came at him from behind and bit down on his left upper arm and held him in place. Kong struggled but the Spinosaurus had a firm grip as it stepped backwards and yanked Kong back, causing Kong to fall on his back as the Spinosaurus released him. Kong looked straight up as the Spinosaurus stared him in the face, preparing to attack, but Kong grabbed the Spinosaurus' snout and clamped it shut for the third time. He pulled it down by its snout and slammed it to the ground before letting go, then he got up and stretched his arm under the Spinosaurus underbelly. Kong got on his feet as he lifted the Spinosaurus off the ground with one arm as the Spinosaurus flailed it limbs around while roaring in distress.

Sensing what was about to happen, Grey showed fear as he shouted, "No no no! Don't!"

Kong didn't listen or understand him as he roared loudly and threw the Spinosaurus through the air and into the river. As it fell it roared until splashing down and then it disappeared beneath the surface of the water. Kong stood at the edge of the cut bank and looked into the river as he let out a loud roar, believing that he had won.

However, Grey knew it wasn't over as he walked closer to Kong and said, "Kong no! Get away from the water!"

Kong turned around and looked at the boy with gruff curiosity as Grey slowly approached and said, "Step away from the water! It's not dead! Spinosaurs are good swimmers! They find most of their food in water like bears and…"

Kong did not understand as he looked down at the boy sternly and snorted in a manner meaning he wanted Grey to leave.

Grey didn't want to provoke him as stayed put and motioned him to come closer as he said, "Right, you don't know what I'm saying. Just come over here. Hurry! Before it…"

While Grey tried to talk to Kong the Spinosaurus' sail rose from the water and moved toward Kong from behind. The Spinosaurus' head rose from the water as it reached up and bit down on Kong's left leg, prompting the giant ape to let out a cry of pain. Grey screamed in fear as the Spinosaurus tugged back Kong's leg, causing him to fall onto his chest while the Spinosaurus submerged, still holding his leg. The Spinosaurus started dragging Kong into the water as Kong desperately tried to dig his finger into the ground, but to no avail. The Spinosaurus dragged Kong into the river so deep that Kong was up to his shoulders in the water, then his head sank under the water while he roared in fear. He managed to grab onto the edge of the cut bank and managed to hold himself in place but soon he lost his grip and sank deeper as the Spinosaurus dragged him down to the deep underwater canyon of the river.

Grey ran to the edge and looked down in the water as he frantically said, "No no no! Come on Kong!"

The Spinosaurus almost dragged down to the bottom of the river before it let go and swam above Kong, looking down at him. Kong swung his fist at it as hard as he could and managed to force it away, but he couldn't do as much damage underwater. Kong desperately tried to swim to the surface as he held his breath, but he was not a strong swimmer and the Spinosaurus was better suited for it. The Spinosaurus swam back at Kong and bit his shoulder and then drove him back into the wall of the underwater canyon. Bubbles came out of Kong's mouth as he cried in pain but then closed his mouth and grabbed the Spinosaurus' neck. It released him and tried to shake free but Kong maintained his grip as he wrapped his left arm around the Spinosaurus' neck and wrapped his right arm around its underbelly.

The Spinosaurus flailed its head around as it tried to break free but couldn't; for the giant ape would never budge. The Spinosaurus paddled its legs and swished its tail to propel itself through the water, but it was moving much slower with Kong weighing it down. It did scratch Kong's right arm which caused him to release his underbelly, but Kong just hit the Spinosaurus in the face. The Spinosaurus finally shook free and swam away from Kong while Kong desperately tried to swim to the surface. Grey was still standing on the edge of the cut bank as he looked down at the water, hoping that Kong would survive. He screamed in fear and backed away as Kong burst from the water and put his arms on the edge.

Grey was relieved as he happily said, "Yes! Thank god!"

Kong coughed up some water and then took some deep breaths as he hung his upper body on the edge of the cut bank.

Grey looked behind Kong and pointed his finger as he shouted, "Kong look!"

Kong recognized when people said his name and he was smart enough to figure out what Grey was trying to do. He turned around to see the Spinosaurus swimming out in the river, all he could see was the sail sticking out of the water like a shark fin. It moved down the river before turning and heading straight toward Kong; Kong was shocked but narrowed his eyes to show he was not afraid. When the Spinosaurus came closer its head slowly rose from the water and it tried to bite Kong, but Kong swung the back of his right fist at and knocked it away in the water. The Spinosaurus circled around and came back again, but Kong dodged it when it tried to bite him and then he wrapped his arm around it to pull it close. Kong bit the back of the Spinosaurus' neck as he dug his canines into its skin, causing it to let out a loud roar of pain. It swam away from Kong who roared at it and the Spinosaurus had enough as it just kept swimming away, and then Kong put his arm back on the edge as he panted.

Grey jumped in the air as he happily exclaimed, "Yeah Kong! You did it! Yes! That was awesome! You kicked his tail!"

He stopped when he saw the Spinosaurus' sail stop moving and noticed its head rise from the water and turn to face Grey. Grey became frightened again and quickly turned around and ran away while he still had the chance. Having had enough of Kong, the Spinosaurus decided to go for an easier snack and so it decided to go after Grey. It swam over to a shallow area of the river and walked out of the water on all fours before standing on two legs again and taking off into the jungle. Kong saw the whole thing and became angry as he climbed out of the water, back onto the land and, took off into the jungle. Grey ran for his life through the trees with no idea where the Spinosaurus was or whether or not he was going the right way. After a few minutes Grey finally stopped running and panted as he tried to catch his breath and looked around.

Feeling safe Grey sighed in relief and said to himself, "Oh good! It's gone!"

He started walking away, suddenly the Spinosaurus emerged from the trees in front of him with a loud roar. Grey screamed in fear as he fell backwards and desperately tried crawl back as the Spinosaurus stepped closer to him. It looked down at the boy and bent over as it got on all fours and moved its head closer, preparing to eat him alive. Grey was terrified as he prepared for the worst, but then the Spinosaurus stopped and turned around to see Kong holding onto its tail with both hands. He then pressed his leg against the side of the Spinosaurus and forced it sideways just as Kong released its tail. He forced the Spinosaurus into a tree trunk and then it fell down and almost crushed Grey, but Kong quickly grabbed the boy in his right hand and pulled him to safety. Grey was shocked as Kong held him in his hand and Grey looked up at Kong, who showed a protective expression. The Spinosaurus got up and walked on all fours as it circled Kong growling while Kong shot it a death glare. The Spinosaurus glanced at Grey in Kong's hand before Kong let out a small threatening roar, and the Spinosaurus knew the ape would never give up Grey. The Spinosaurus stood on two legs as it roared at Kong, and he roared back at it, then the Spinosaurus came at him once again.

Kong held his right hand back to keep Grey away from the Spinosaurus as it tried to bite him; it missed and then Kong clamped its mouth shut again. He pushed the Spinosaurus head up again and then shoved it backward with his foot while releasing his grip. The Spinosaurus then stumbled backwards before regaining its footing and then charged at Kong, but Kong swerved to the side and used his left arm to put it in a semi-headlock. He threw the Spinosaurus at a dead tree, knocking it down in the process, but the Spinosaurus kept fighting as it came back at him. Kong grabbed it by its neck and tried to hold it back while holding Grey as far away from the Spinosaurus as possible. The Spinosaurus then slashed its claws and dug them into Kong's arm, prompting him to roar in pain and loosen his grip. The Spinosaurus got its neck free and then charged at Kong, knocking him onto his back, and forcing him to release Grey.

Grey crawled away and got back up as he exclaimed, "Come on Kong! Get up!"

The Spinosaurus had Kong pinned to the ground as it planted its left foot on his stomach and pressed its arms down on his pecks. It stared down at Kong as it prepared to bite his head, but Kong raised his right arm and punched it in the side of the face. Kong then raised his left arm and used it to push the Spinosaurus to the side and then he got back on his feet. The Spinosaurus roared as it came at him but Kong raised both his fists in the air and slammed them on the Spinosaurus' head, knocking it to the ground. The Spinosaurus tried to get up as it stood on all fours but Kong stood on his hind legs and grabbed its sail with both hands, holding it firmly in place.

Grey watched anxiously and shouted, "Yes! That's it! You can do it!"

The Spinosaurus tried to get away as it tried to crawl away but Kong prevented it from leaving and so its claws just dug small rows in the dirt. It desperately tried to break free as it roared but Kong finally pulled its sail with all his might, snapping it as he pulled the sail toward him, twisting the Spinosaurus' vertebrae out of place. Kong released the sail and the Spinosaurus fell to the ground dead, ten feet away from Grey with its mouth gaping open. Grey hesitantly walked closer to it, and through a small rock at its nose, confirming that it was actually dead. Kong came over and planted his foot on the Spinosaurus' dead body and pounded his chest as he roared in triumph.

Grey looked at Kong with amazement and wonder as he said, "You really are king."

Kong looked down at the boy and showed some respect before getting on his knuckles and walking away.

He then ran off into the jungle and Grey shouted, "Thank you!"

He jumped as he suddenly heard his brother yell, "Grey!"

He turned around and shouted, "Zach!"

Zach, Owen, and Claire came out of the jungle and ran toward him as Claire shouted, "Grey!"

They both hugged him and Claire happily said, "Oh thank god! Are you okay?"

Grey nodded as he said, "Yeah I'm okay."

Zach was relieved as he said, "Okay, I promise I won't let anything happen to you!"

Claire looked at both of them as she added, "And I'm not letting either of you out of my sight as long as I live!"

Owen watched them before turning to the carcass of the Spinosaurus, he was impressed as he said, "Whoa! What happened here?"

The others turned and looked at it as Claire gasped and said, "Oh my god!"

Zach was amazed as he said, "What is that?"

Grey stared at the body and said, "It's a Spinosaurus. Don't worry it's dead."

Owen looked at Grey as he curiously said, "How did…?"

Grey smiled happily as he looked at the others and said, "It was Kong. He killed it."

Zach was shocked as he said, "Wait! You saw Kong? He was here?"

Grey happily replied, "Yeah! He saved me! He fought the Spinosaurus and stopped it from eating me. It was so cool!"

Zach was speechless as he said, "Whoa!"

Claire interrupted as she said, "Let's talk about this later. Right now we have to get out of here. The truck's totaled, we can't all fit on Owen's motorcycle, and we'll never make it on foot."

They all looked at Owen as he said, "There's another truck back at the enclosure. Let's go!"

He led the way as they all quickly followed him into the jungle to get another truck so they could drive to the visitor's center.

Author's note: Sorry it took so long. I need to get back into writing stories, I've been really distracted lately. This was harder to think up than you'd think. Please review.
