I decided to make just a little idea of a fic if World War Hulk took place on the world of One Punch Man. I hope you enjoy it! Though this is just a one-shot, I don't know if I'll continue it, let's see in the future I guess...
City A...
The situation was not endearing. At all. Across the city, many rubbles fell to the ground, earthquake roaring throughout the grounds of the very city. Green energy was blasting right and left, fluttering in the wind, while the source of the radiation was coming from a green brute, standing over the fallen bodies of the heroes.
S class heroes, A class heroes, B class heroes, C class heroes, all of them, lying on the ground, battered, bruised, beaten, no mercy given.
"I... I can still fight!" A voice of a seemingly young girl spoke. Tatsumaki, the tornado of terror, the ranked two S-class hero of the hero association, was standing over the bodies of the heroes, her psychic powers flaring up, standing up to the green monstrosity that destroyed their city, destroyed everyone.
You'd think that this monster is just an everyday demon threat level monsters, running around on the city, causing havoc and pouting off some nonsense monologues, which counts as empty and pointless, for they would get destroyed in a matter of seconds by the top ranking heroes. Oh, if only things were that simple.
This is no ordinary monster. No. This is a god taking form as a monster in green. This is a deity coming from above, proclaiming himself as the WORLDBREAKER, The Green Scar. This is a vengeance-filled deity, fueled by hatred and anger towards those PUNY HUMANS, who dared to betray him, who sent him away into a planet to die. These PUNY HUMANS made him lose the one and only thing that he had ever loved. His wife and his...unborn child.
Tatsumaki was about to rush into danger again, but suddenly, a familiar hand caught her by the shoulder.
"You..." Tatsumaki muttered. It was Blast, coming to her side, clenching his fist, "I believe you can't do this alone, Senritsu No Tatsumaki."
"Blast..." Tatsumaki said in a sense of longing. There he was, the man that saved her in her times of need.
"I know I told you not to expect help and to rely on yourself, but.." Blast smiled, "I believe this is a special exception."
Blast then prepared himself to fight, "Let's do this, for our fallen comrades."
Tatsumaki flashed him a smile, before nodding, though her form was battered, and great pain was overwhelming her, she would not stop until this monster dies.
Stood before them was The Incredible Hulk, a monster who returned from above to exact his vengeance upon those who betrayed him. The monster gritted his teeth, speaking through his unparalleled rage, "IF YOU WISH TO GET SMASHED AGAIN AND AGAIN, THEN SO BE IT! COME AT ME AND FEEL THE PAIN I FELT!!!!" He roared, before lifting both of his arms up above, smashing the ground as he did, causing the ground to shake wildly, as the earthquake grew wider.
Tatsumaki floated in the air to avoid damage caused by the ground slam.
Blast jumped in the air to dodge the effects of the smash, momentarily hovering in the air, before landing besides Hulk. He launched an attack against him, causing a big shockwave to be sent across the city.
He then continued to push Hulk away by sending him barrages of attacks, "Killer Move, Continuous Gatling Punches!"
As each of the attacks connected to the Hulk's raging form, shockwaves after shockwaves shook the earth, shattering rubbles after rubbles, including those of the destroyed Hero Association base.
Blast stopped, waiting for the smoke to clear out, "That should put you out for a-"
However, a scoff was heard as the smoke cleared out, "That hardly counts as a tickle, muscles." The condescending voice said.
"Wha-" Blast was suddenly grabbed by the enormously large green hand in the neck, "I thought you would put up a bit of a challenge, but I guess, in the end, you're just a puny human like the rest of them." The monstrosity snarled.
Tatsumaki couldn't believe the sight set before her. Blast, the number one S class hero, even him, even he's struggling against the Hulk. WHAT THE HELL IS HE?!
"Have a nice life in your next one, mister number one." The Hulk mocked, as he attempted to crush the hero's neck.
"NO!" A panicked voice of a young girl yelled. Suddenly, a large boulder was crashing against the Hulk, though it only counts as a mere annoyance rather than pain.
The Hulk snorted, looking towards the esper that did just that, "Wait your turn, little kid, and I might as well kill you painlessly after that, if I'm generous enough."
Tatsumaki's eyes flared up, as she charged towards the Worldbreaker, "STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!" She said as small amount of tornado goes around her as she flew.
She tried to use her powers to force him away, but as it seems, Hulk only moved an inch.
Tatsumaki growled, before lifting a remaining building into the sky to topple Hulk down.
As the Hulk noticed the incoming projectile and was distracted, Tatsumaki used her powers to get Blast out of the way.
As the building collapsed on the ground, Tatsumaki panted, as she fell to her knees, feeling her energy draining out of her, stains of blood drooling from her forehead, as well as her drenched-in-sweat cheeks.
She hoped that this was it, but that was not the case at all. The rubbles exploded, green radiation began streaming off of the monster as the rubble exploded away.
In an instant, Hulk appeared in front of Tatsumaki, before she felt a gigantic fist slam into her face, sending her flying away.
Tatsumaki slammed into the nearest wall, before collapsing on the ground. She choked on her own blood as she tried to stand, darkness began to consume her vision..
This is it...this is the end.. I'm sorry everyone..
"NOOOOO! YOU MONSTER!" An enraged voice yelled, as he rushed against the brutality that is The Incredible Hulk.
As Blast cocked his fist back, he tried to hit him, as he was desperate at this point. But his fist was caught by the Hulk. "You, like the rest of your kin, calls me that over, and over again," The Hulk said, "That I am a monster, that I don't deserve to live, that I should be hunted down like a damn animal. It's why you humans sent me away and left me to die, right?" He spoke again, although his voice sounded sad, there was still pieces of his rage left.
"It's not like I choose to be...to be...THIS." The Hulk spoke again while choking the life out of the number one S-class hero, "But if you insist that I am a monster, then let me become that monster you're so afraid of. I'll smash you, and the remaining puny humans, then, I'LL SMASH AND BREAK THE WORLD!!" He then raised his fist, before punching Blast away with all his might, sending him flying away at great speeds.
But before Blast can get his head slammed against a remaining rubble, suddenly, a yellow blur caught him.
The Hulk seemed to not notice this, and began to walk away to kill the rest.
From afar, Blast felt like he was dying. He felt someone's chest was pressed against him. He looked up, only to see a bald-headed plain-looking person, who wore a yellow jumpsuit, with both yellow gauntlets and yellow boots, white cape fluttering above his head.
As he settled, he turned his attention to the battered hero, "You okay there?" He asked, his face seemingly serious.
As the mysterious bald man put Blast down, he answered, "W..who are you?"
"Just a guy who's a hero for-" The man paused for a moment, before saying a completely different answer, "A guy who's here to help."
"You... you're that B-class hero...get out of here.. he's-" Blast was cut off,
"Strong. I know. But that's not the only reason why I'm here." The B-class hero, Saitama, replied, before standing up, "Stay here, don't push yourself too far, old dude. You did good though, nice fight." He smiled slightly, before walking away.
"B- but what are you going to do? What's... what's the other reason you mentioned briefly?" Blast asked, but before he can finish, Saitama suddenly responded, "...just seeing an old friend, that's all."
An old friend??
Saitama then called out, "Yo, Brucie!" The Hulk winced at the name, and stopped from walking away, "I'm not Bruce, or whoever that is." He then turned around, "But I guess I'll have to smash you before-" The Hulk stopped from finishing his sentence, feeling a sense of familiarity with the bald-headed hero.
"Who...who are you?" The Hulk asked again. Saitama crossed his arms, as his cape fluttered in the wind, "Usually, I respond with the usual 'hero for fun' reply, but for you, it's a special case."
"Wait a minute...?" The Hulk asked again, putting the pieces together as Saitama spoke.
Saitama chuckled a bit, but it was almost as if he was saddened, "I never thought we'd see each other again, Brucie, not after that whole...ordeal..I was bored outta my mind when you left, y'know?" He then uncrossed his arms, "Though I didn't expect our reunion to be in a place like this. It reeks of...whatever you did to this city. Destruction! Yeah, I think that was what I was going to say."
"Are you...?" The Hulk's voice softened, as if he was seeing someone...close to him. Saitama nodded with a small smile, "That's right, Brucie. It's me, Saitama, your ol' pal. I think we need to talk for a bit."
THAT'S ALL FOR THIS CHAPTER! I might or might not continue it. But you'll find out soon!
TO BE CONTINUED! Probably.
