10 years after Creation

"What are we doing?!" Percy yelled out.

"Protesting humanity!" His followers said.

"Why?!"

"To get Mom and Dad back!"

Percy smiled. He turned to his twin that was standing next to him. Michael.

"Don't worry brother, it'll work." He said.

"I hope so. I don't know what I would do if it doesn't."

They walked up to God's workshop, where he was molding a piece of clay. It was almost done, he was just adding some final detailing. Percy had to admit, his dad was a good creator. From turning dust into clay and then turning that into a man, it was impressive.

They lined up outside, held up their signs. They started yelling.

God, wondering what was happening outside, looked out of a window. If he had invented coffee at the time, he would've spit out a giant gulp he had taken. His children were protesting his new creation. He was confused. They loved his creations. They loved Earth.

In the lead was Perseus. One of his twins. He might not have been the youngest. In fact, he was one of the eldest, only behind Amenadiel, with Michael after Perseus. They held signs, detailing how flawed these new creatures were. "Bugs" as they called them. God liked to call them features.

God burst out of the workshop, face red with anger. "WHAT IS GOING ON!?"

Before Percy could speak, Michael spoke up. "HELP! Perseus! He's forcing us to protest with him!"

Percy was gobsmacked. He didn't do anything of the sort. He had gone to Michael for help, and they had asked their siblings if they wanted to help. Only about a third of the angels decided to help them, BECAUSE Percy let them decide.

God turned to the rest of the angels. "Is this true?"

Every other angel there nodded.

Percy looked on with a look of betrayal. His eyes shone with unshed tears. He looked at his twin, who stood there, a barely visible smug look on his face. Percy's eyes dried up as he looked at his younger brother. In his heart, a metaphorical shattering occurs. His loyalty tie to Michael snapped.

Percy leaped at Michael, punching him in the nose. Every other angel jumped back in shock. Percy threw another right hook at Michaels cheek. Michael retaliated with an uppercut.

The 2 whaled on each other, looking like a professional boxing match. The other angels tried to separate them. They were eventually able to, chaining Percy up and taking him to a prison cell. They took Michael to a doctor, where an angel healed him up.

Percy sat in his cell, a look of defeat on his face.

Percy woke up with a gasp. He was still in the driver's seat of that BMW. Zoë's face was tucked into his neck, her breath tickling him. Percy smiled, despite his dream/flashback. He kissed her forehead, causing her to smile.

He untangled himself from her grasp and opened the door. He climbed up the rack, and sat on the trunk of a black '69 Chevrolet Impala. He reached into his suit and took out a cigarette case. He took one out and lit it up with a fire from his pinky.

He sat there for a couple of minutes, enjoying the taste of Sally's blue cookies. He had restructured the atoms of the cigarette to not hold tobacco, but pure sugar, and taste like Sally's blue chocolate chip cookies.

But yes, he sat on the trunk of that car, smoking, calming his nerves. The cold wind helped, cooling down the sweat that was dripping from his face. The night was calm. With little to no light, Percy could see the galaxy in the sky. The stars he forged years ago, staring back at his face, each one felt like a punch to the face. Just like the one he gave his brother eons ago.

He heard shuffling from behind him and saw Bianca behind him.

She sat next to him. "What are you doing up?"

"Dreams." Percy said simply.

Bianca nodded.

"What are you doing up?" He asked back.

"It's just been a weird day. Learning about who my father is."

Percy chuckled. "Your father's pretty cool. Him and I go way back."

"Really?" Bianca asked.

"Oh, yeah. Though, I went down to the Underworld a couple years ago, but he didn't recognize me, caused a lot of trouble."

"Do you think you could help me?"

"With?"

"My powers." Bianca said, embarrassed.

Percy paused, took a long breath from his ciggie, then shrugged. "Sure."

They started off small. Percy showed her how she could manipulate shadows. Percy would've started with bones, and work their way up to entire skeletons, but they weren't on solid ground. It probably would've been hard to concentrate on bones in the ground, when the ground is moving.

When they were done, Bianca went back to her car, once again leaving Percy to his thoughts. He seemed to be doing that a lot lately. He reflected on the past 30 minutes. If that's what being a parent felt like, well, you could count Percy in.

He took another long drag, before throwing the cig in a passing trash can. Just like how it was earlier mentioned, Percy had deadly aim, and the only reason his bow skills were in the dumps was due to being reborn as a son of Poseidon. He sat there for a few minutes with his hands in his pockets.

Right as he was about to leave, someone sat down next to him. He turned to see his wife. "I saw that cig throw. Impressive."

Percy smiled. "Thanks. You want one?"

Zoë smiled. "Sure." She said, holding a hand out.

Percy took out 2, lit one and handed it to Zoë, lit the other and stuck it in his mouth.

Zoë looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "You're having another one?"

Percy blew some smoke out. "Not like it can harm me, besides my nerves are still not totally calm."

"Is that why you left the car?"

"Yeah." Percy said quietly.

"What was it?"

"A memory. Back to when Michael, you know."

Zoë nodded in understanding, already knowing the story. She finally took her first breath through the cigarette. She turned to Percy. "Cookies, really?"

Percy smiled, but tears could be seen in his eyes. "Yeah, Sally's. Those things are heavenly."

"That good?"

"Actually, they beat Gabriel's by a long shot." He said, a tear finally falling.

Zoë took Percy's head in her arms and cradled it near her chest. She removed one hand and started to rub his back. She knew he needed comfort right now.

The 2 lovers sat there for a couple of hours, no words being spoken. Finally, the sun was coming up. The train slowed down before coming to a soundless stop. Percy looked up to see if he could see where they were.

The sign read, "WELCOME TO CLOUDCROFT, NEW MEXICO!"

A/N. Well, another chapter done. And only in a day too. Honestly, this was more of a chapter about Percy's past and how it's still affecting him, but I accidentally put some Perzoë fluff in there as well. Actually, you're probably not complaining, y'all wanted this. As Sheyg02 put it, "At CHB so they can have secret make out sessions on the quest."

Hope you enjoyed!
