Percy arrived at the Williamsburg bridge almost immediately. It was after midnight, but the bridge glowed brightly. Cars were lit on fire, as well as flaming arrows and spears flew through the air.

The Apollo campers would take shelter behind cars, then peak out and nail a monster in the head. They would set off explosive arrows, making holes in the asphalt. They made flaming barricades, all the while taking sleeping citizens and dragging them to safety.

It was all for naught though. The army just kept approaching. Dracaena came forward with shields locked. Hellhounds leaped forward pouncing on unsuspecting children. And leading them on a horse made of bones was the Titan Lord himself, Kronos. What was a mindfuck was that he was in the body of Luke Castellan. His golden eyes took in the scene hungrily, watching the chaos.

Percy turned to Michael. "Get everyone off the bridge, I'll take them."

"You can't possibly-"

"I can, and I will." Percy said.

Michael sighed. "Be careful."

"When am I not?" Percy said teasingly.

Michael went back, yelling. Percy looked at the approaching army, and smirked.

"Nice dogs!" Percy said.

"They are quite magnificent, aren't they?" Kronos said.

"Yeah, sadly..." Percy stuck two fingers in his mouth and whistled. Thunderous footsteps shook the ground as an enormous Hellhound came into view, just narrowly missing the buildings. Her head was above the rooftops as she stepped onto the bridge. She eyed the opposing army hungrily. "Mine's bigger."

Mrs. O'Leary barked once. At the same time, as if planned, the Hellhounds in Kronos' army stood up straight. Mrs. O'Leary growled once. The Hellhounds eyed the army, before pouncing and ripping monsters to shreds. One would jump on the back of cyclops, while another would pounce on the front and tear it's throat out. Another would tear through the armour of a dracaena, then impale it with it's large claws.

Kronos watched as his intimidating army was torn apart within seconds. He really should've used less Hellhounds. Seriously, half of his army was made out of Hellhounds. What an idiot.

The minotaur tried to fight back with his new axe, but missed as the hounds of Hell dodged. To leapt up and bit onto his horns. The unexpected weight pulled him off balance. Using their weight to pull, they pulled him around the bridge. The Minotaur was swinging wildly as he tried to hit something, anything. And he did. Kronos.

Kronos took this as a sign of defeat and fled upon his horse.

Percy took out Riptide and motioned for the hounds to leave. He flipped Riptide in his hand and struck the ground. Cracks spread from the entry point, and spiderwebbed across the bridge. The bridge collapsed, only remains being the concrete from the supports.

Percy spread his wings and flew back to the side of the campers. He took a headcount. Less than they had started with which he expected, but strangely, there wasn't a certain head counselor.

"Where's Michael?"

Will spoke up. "He, uh, he never left the bridge."

"You mean he-" Percy asked, looking at the destroyed bridge.

Will nodded.

LINE BREAK

The Plaza was nice. Of course it was with the chandeliers and passed out rich people all put in a pile in the corner. The demigods and Hunters had taken over the top floors. They were strewn about on couches and even a couple on the floor.

Apparently someone had taken to writing names on the doors of the demigods occupying the rooms. He found the one with Zoë written on it and walked inside.

Zoë was hunched over a desk, looking at something. Percy walked up to her and his arms around her. She smiled softly. "What are you looking at?"

"Just studying the city."

Percy took a pen and crossed out the Williamsburg bridge. "Don't need that one anymore. I destroyed it."

"How many did we lose?"

"7. Michael included."

Zoë sighed. "Can you go talk to Grover, I want to see how he and the nature spirits did."

Percy nodded, before exiting the room and finding the satyr.

Grover was in the lobby, eating the furniture.

"Dude, come on! We're borrowing the place."

"I know, but this Shell Cordovan! This stuff is delicious! And besides, I eat when I'm nervous."

"I know, but still." Percy sat on the half eaten couch. "How did you guys do?"

"We lost a dozen to a young dragon. The Hellhounds had been shadow travelling until a loud bark was heard. Then they attacked the dragon, killing it."

Thalia entered the room. "Uh, Percy. We have reports of a Titan and an army near Jersey shore. They say that he glows brightly."

"Hyperion." Percy muttered. "Any good news?"

"We sealed all the subway tunnels into the city." Thalia said.

"Alright. Give me a moment." Percy said, walking out of the hotel.

"Where are you going?" Grover asked.

"To fight Hyperion." Percy said in a 'duh' tone.

"You're going to fight the Titan of Light?" Thalia said in disbelief.

"What about me being an Archangel confuses you? Besides, I brought light into this world, I'm sure I can take it out."

LINE BREAK

Percy walked along the street, towards the tall, bright, nightlight.

"Jackson, what are you doing here!?" Hyperion yelled.

"Taking a stroll along this nice beach. What are you doing?"

"I highly doubt that."

"Oh, so you are bright in more ways than one."

Hyperion tightly grabbed his spear. He motioned for the army to stop marching, and stepped forward. "Do you want to fight a titan?"

Percy stepped forward. "Not when I can just do this."

Percy held his hand out, and twisted his wrist to the left. Hyperion's light got dimmer. He felt weaker. His skin went from a nice tan, to a deathly pale.

"Jackson! What are you doing to me?"

Percy slowly walked up to the titan, who had fallen to his knees. "I'm extinguishing you."

"I am the light, I can never be put out." Hyperion said, starting to sound very weak. He was getting even dimmer.

"And I created light, but now I have to destroy it."

"Light... can't... be... destroyed..."

"Hmm, it can, if it's energy is converted to something else, like kinetic energy."

"What-" Hyperion didn't get to finish, as Percy had knocked him aside. The titan of light flew into the ocean.

But there was no escape, as Percy walked on top of the water towards Hyperion.

"Jesus." Hyperion spat out, trying to tread the water.

"Not quite." Percy said, before kicking Hyperion's head. It ripped off the rest of the body, spraying Percy with ichor. The head sailed into orbit, and Percy could barely see it, but the head went into the Sun, incinerating instantly.

The sea started to swirl and rise in a pillar in front of Percy. The water fell away to reveal another titan. This one looked a lot like Poseidon, but crueler. He wielded a serpent in his hand as a sword.

Percy sighed. "Oceanus."

A/N. Alright! Another chapter closer to the end. Now, you might be wondering, didn't the fight with Hyperion happen later in the book? And yes, it does, but not here. I hope you liked it. I thought it would be an interesting way to portray it, considering Percy has complete control over light, fire, and also pretty much every element. (Again, this is all according to the wiki.)

Also, this is why Poseidon wasn't fighting. So I could have this happen.

And how about that payoff from Arc 1 about Percy being able to control Mrs. O'Leary's size? I thought it would be cool to have the Hellhounds listen to her. She's probably the Hellhound Queen or something now, I don't know.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed it.

Thoughts?
