Hello lovely readers! I hope you enjoy the last update? Well, I have been thinking about y'all, so I rolled out another one.
Lucy jerked as she felt a cool hand on her bare shoulder. She spilt the drink she gripped in her hand on the sequined bodice of the gossamer floor-length dress she donned. Hopefully, the dress was a deep blue and it was nighttime. So, no one would notice, she thought.
She swirled and her brown orbs latched on a pair of eyes the colour of 'forget me not'. Her white hair was reaching almost her waist and it was done in a simple French braid. As if she was trying not to draw attention to herself. However, it didn't work as it enhanced her facial feature more.
The sky blue, the long-sleeved gown she slipped on, highlighted the colour of her eyes as well.
"Hi, I'm Lisanna. You are Lucy, right?
Without even the girl introducing herself, Lucy knew who she was as Natsu had already described her details before now. And he wasn't wrong in her description but he probably forgot to add how she looked like an angel.
"Yes, you are very correct," Lucy affirmed, with a nod of her head. Again, she continued. "Nice to meet you Lisanna."
A wide smile brightened Lucy's face. She had always wanted to meet the girl who captured the heart of the fiery Natsu. She doubted if she often keeps him in check like she does because he could be too much sometimes.
"Lisanna dear, I need a help with something." A voice said from behind and Lucy swirled to gaze at the newcomer. Her eyes widened as she saw another fair head woman like Lisanna.
The only thing that could tell them about was their body and chin.
"Are you twin?"
"Oh, no. She is my older sister. Mira. Mira, this is Lucy, Natsu's friend." Lisanna introduced.
"Hi, Lucy! Would I be prying if I say you look familiar?"
"No, not at all." Lucy said with a small smile. Though, she knew what would come out next without being told.
"You are Jude Heartfilia's daughter?"
"Yes."
"Wow, a pleasure to be acquainted to you." Mira grinned, coming in for a hug though I extended my hands to her.
Lucy nostril flared as the scent of Mira's mixed with her surrounded them. She let in a deep breath whilst relaxing in the warmth of the embrace.
"Mira, Lisanna." A voice called out.
"I'm sorry for cutting this short. I need to do something important at the moment. I hope to see you again." Mira said. She and Lisanna waved before darting into the crowd.
"Can I have this dance, My lady?" Natsu smirked making Lucy jump.
She glared at him whilst clutching her palpitating heart.
"I told you never to sneak up on me again!'
"I can't help it. I love seeing you frightened." Natsu winked whilst grinning.
"Geez. You are weird."
"You look beautiful tonight. You outshine even the most beautiful girl on here."
I scowled at him, "Flattering won't get you anywhere."
"Okay, forget my goofiness. Look around."
Lucy rolled her eyes but didn't turn.
"She's not dancing with you. Not now. Not ever!"
Lucy swirled for the umpteenth time and her eyes collided with Gray's.
A scowl was present on his face and he balled his hand into a fist.
