Olympus' Throne Room
"Is that a large hurricane? Uncle P, you know about that?" Apollo asked, pointing off in the distance.
Poseidon looked at where Apollo was pointing, and lo and behold, there was a huge hurricane. Much bigger than anything Poseidon has ever summoned. "That's not me."
Zeus started to get angry. "IRIS!"
A rainbow came in through the middle of the room, like a discount Bifrost. "Yes, my king?"
"Show us the cause of that storm."
She nodded, and a misty rainbow appeared showing video. Oceanus in his merman glory, and Percy in his angelic glory were fighting, sword to serpent. The hurricane surrounded them; they were caught in the eye. Water had taken an outline on Percy's back, in the shape of wings. Oceanus had some ichor dripping from his nose. Blood was dripping from the serpent, who had pain in his eyes.
Percy swiped at Oceanus, and decapitated the serpent.
Oceanus' eyes widened in horror. "You killed my snake!"
Percy took the chance to lunge forward and stab the titan through the chest. Riptide erupted from the back of the titan, covered in ichor. Percy had an impassive look on his face as he stared forward to the horizon.
Percy unsheathed the blade from the Sea deity, and wiped it off with his suit jacket. He capped it, and put it back in his backpack. Percy looked at the floating body that hadn't disintegrated yet.
The hole on Oceanus' chest closed up, and he opened his eyes. He got to his- well not his feet, so his tail, fin? I don't know, he got to whatever you would call it. He looked at Percy happily.
"You thought you could kill me, in my home turf?!"
"Okay, in hindsight, that does seem rather stupid of me." Percy said.
Oceanus charged, but Percy flipped over him. He used some of the wind from the hurricane to blast the eldest titan onto the beach. Percy stepped onto the sand while adjusting his surgeon cuffs.
Oceanus rose... well, actually, he tried to. But as soon as he got up, he fell back over. His tail split into 2, then morphed into legs. He stood, a little shakily, but he was on 2 feet.
Percy had a smile the whole time as he watched Oceanus struggle. But soon the morning sun was covered, and the ground had a weird pattern.
Behind Percy was a tsunami, about 2,000 feet tall. (609.6 m). It towered over the tallest tsunami ever recorded, which was only 1,700 feet. (534 m). It spanned the entire coastline, looking to destroy, at the very least, the entirety of Jersey shore.
"The punk is going to get it now!" Ares said with glee.
Percy just held his hand up, still facing Oceanus. The tsunami paused in its tracks. The water was so still, it looked like it was frozen in time. All hope fell from Oceanus' face. The tsunami lowered itself back to a normal wave height.
Oceanus replaced the lack of hope with anger. He charged, only to get punched in the nose. More ichor fell from it, staining Percy's suit. Percy kneed one of Oceanus' new legs, bringing him to a kneeling position.
Oceanus looked up at Percy, who's eyes were glowing red. Percy placed his hands on the sides of Oceanus' face, before violently twisting his head to the right. Oceanus fell on the sand, dead. This time he did turn to golden dust.
It blended with the sand so well, that within a minute, there was no noticeable trace of his existence. Percy held his hand up, and stopped the hurricane. All the rain paused, then dropped all at once in a thick slab of water.
Zeus ended the iris message.
"He seems really good at this killing titans business." Hermes said.
LINE BREAK
Percy walked into the Plaza and up to his and Zoë's room. She was sleeping in the bed, so he stripped down, put on a robe, and laid next to her. He fell asleep almost instantaneously. Not that he was tired, hell no. He could walk for 9 days straight and not feel the slightest fatigue. He just really liked the warmness of the covers and his wife.
He woke up in the afternoon to pounding on their door. Zoë woke up next to him. To decide who would open the door, they played rock, paper, scissors.
Percy lost, so he walked over to the door and opened it. Thalia was waiting at the door, exasperated.
"What?"
"Put on some clothes, we've got visitors."
"Who?"
"A titan. Says he was a message from Kronos."
Percy sighed. "Alright, give me a minute."
Percy exited the room wearing a new clean suit. Zoë came out after him wearing black leather. She was glad to be back in it. After spending millennia in a parka, it was nice to get back in her old leather.
The married couple and Thalia walked to central park, where the meeting had been scheduled to take place. They saw the white flag from half a mile away. Considering it was the size of a soccer field, it was hard not to miss. Also the fact that it was held by a giant with blue skin. A Hyperborean.
A table was set up, with chairs on only one side. It was a very passive aggressive thing to do, but it was there. Percy snapped his fingers, and 3 chairs rose up in a triangle formation. The one in front was made of pillars of rock, just like Percy's throne back in Hell. Zoë's was the same, since they had the same thrones. Thalia differed, as it was a copy of Artemis'. Silver metal, with the fur of an animal as cushioning.
They sat, and Percy observed the opposing team. In the lead was a tall man in a tuxedo who Percy recognized as Prometheus. At his side was Annabeth, the consort of the Titan Lord's vessel. Percy idly wondered how that worked, before realizing he knew how it worked, and was weirded out. Hanging on his arm was an empousa who was wearing a sparkly dress. It looked like she was trying to be seductive, but honestly, she looked like a blobfish out of water. She was holding a pithos.
The other was the Hyperborean giant, who had the mental capacity of a kindergartener.
Percy started this negotiation. "Hello again, Prometheus."
"Lucifer."
"I see you're free from that rock."
"Ah yes, Hercules freed me. Quite a nice fellow."
Percy's hand twitched. Zoë's hand reached for her knife, only waiting for Percy's command.
"Sure. Let's go with that." Percy's voice was strained, like he was using all his will to not murder everyone within a 50 mile radius. Sparing his side of course. "Unlike your present company."
It was a dig at Annabeth, but Prometheus took it as an insult to the empousa. "Ah, demons aren't so bad, as long as you use a tight grip on their leash. I would expect you to know that. After all, you're married to one."
Percy's eye twitched. His smile was getting more and more strained. A fire started on the back of his chair. He took a deep breath, willed the fire out, and leaned forward. He put his elbows on the table, and his hands together. "You are on thin fucking ice. I would watch your next words carefully."
"Right. We have business to attend to. I'm going to tell you straight. You're position is weak. You aren't going to survive another night."
"We'll see."
"Percy, you know the future just as well as I do. You are going to be overwhelmed, and Kronos will chain the gods to their thrones. He will make them watch as he raises his throne right in the center of his throne room. Of course after that, it's foggy, but I can't imagine a future where you win. Especially with the help of our damned army. You can't argue with that. I am the Titan of Forethought."
"Yet, you weren't always." Percy said, a small smile on his face.
"What do you mean? Of course I was."
"Oh, you forgot about our deal. The one where I give you the knowledge of the future, and I would call in a favor later. Remember?"
"Oh. That deal." Prometheus said, swallowing.
Percy's smile widened. "Yeah, that deal. And I would like to cash in that favor now."
Prometheus gulped. "Uh, what is it that you want."
Percy's smile widened even more. "You're going to give me Pandora's Pithos, then you're going to go back to Kronos, tell him to fuck off, then you're going to send yourself back to Tartarus."
"Absolutely not!"
Percy sighed sympathetically. "Okay, then how about another deal. You don't do that, so I take you down to Hell, and I show you what Zoë can do. Spoiler alert, she can do way worse than that eagle. She isn't Hell's best for nothing."
Percy leaned back in his chair. "I'll give you a couple of minutes to make your decision.
Prometheus looked scared. He was literally shaking. "I'll take..." He tried to calm himself. "Option 1."
Percy smiled. "Great."
Prometheus grabbed the pithos and gave it to Percy. Annabeth glared at Percy.
"What do you want, Princess?"
"I'm the Titan Queen, and you disrespect me?!" Annabeth said.
"And I'm the King of Hell, but you've disrespected me more than enough times. What's your point?"
Annabeth huffed, before they all left the spot, heading back to Kronos.
Percy grabbed the pithos and stood up. "Pleasure doing business with ya!" He yelled to the retreating Titan.
The Devil, the Queen of Hell, and the Lieutenant of the Hunters of Artemis walked back to the Plaza.
A/N. What's this? A longer chapter than normal? The Flying Spaghetti Monster has blessed us. But for real though, I was worried after posting twice on Fathers Day that I would lose motivation, but I just have a lot of it for this story. Same can't be said for the Perzoë one shot. I haven't touched that thing since May 24th apparently. And it's not like I could, I have it open in a tab right next to this one, but I'm just stuck on it. I'm going to try to finish that before starting any new one shots.
Anyways, onto the chapter. How was that fight? It was longer than usual. I hope you liked that. If not, then I'm fucked because I have a 3 part final battle written. Not that all of it is fighting but still.
And how about that discussion? I hope you liked that.
Honestly, I just hope you like this chapter in general.
Thoughts?
