Midtown was in chaos. The campers and Hunters had retreated all over the place. A giant was ripping trees from their roots in Bryant Park while Dryads attacked him with switches. 3 Hephaestus campers were fighting some Dracaenae in the middle of Rockefeller Center.

Percy flew by that and more as he headed southbound. Towards the Empire State. He reached the skyscraper, only to see everyone slowly being pushed back. In no time, the monsters would reach and potentially overrun the campers, giving Kronos a direct line to Olympus.

Percy closed his eyes in concentration. A blast of energy flew out from his body and washed over the entire city. Time slowed to an almost halt. It was far more than Kronos could ever do.

Percy walked through the streets, surveying everything. Everyone was about a block away from Olympus' entrance. He walked farther. He saw Annabeth, giving orders to what looked like leaders of different monsters.

He ignored it for now, and walked further. Eventually, he came to the place he was looking for.

Aunty Em's Garden Emporium.

He walked inside. A makeshift throne with a sleeping Kronos was smack dab in the middle. Monsters of old were strewn about. There was a new statue though. One Percy knew definitely wasn't there last time he was here. It was of a Chimera. That was odd.

Percy filed that away for later and turned to his target. The sleeping Titan Lord. he studied the vessel. It looked like the blond son of Hermes was starting to burn up. Very slowly, but the evidence was there.

Percy laid a finger on Kronos' forehead, before being transported into the mind of the Titan. Percy looked around. He was in the Olympian Throne Room. Kronos was in the middle. The Heath was turned over, coals strewn on the ground.

Zeus' throne had slashes, ones that no doubt came from the scythe that Kronos was wielding.

"You know, when I heard that you dream about tearing down Olympus, I didn't expect you to actually dream about it." Percy said.

Kronos turned around to face the archangel. "Jackson!"

"I actually prefer to be called Morningstar if you're going to use a last name."

"What are you doing here?"

"Just here to spread the news."

"And that is?"

"That you're outmatched."

Kronos laughed. "And yet, I am the one close to my goal."

Percy walked around Kronos slowly. "Do you know why I came to Earth?"

"Why would I care?"

"Because I was bored. I came here, to please my own desires. "

"And to fight me."

"Someone has a heightened sense of self importance. No, I never planned to fight you."

"Then why are you?"

"Because someone asked for a favor. The question you should be asking, is why you aren't dead yet."

"What does any of this have to do with anything?"

"It's all connected, grandpa! This... "fight" between you and me, is mainly for my enjoyment. It's why you aren't dead yet. It's why you aren't dust sprinkling the dirt." Percy stopped and looked at Kronos dead in the eyes. "You are nothing but a bug to me. If I wanted to, I could just-" Percy snapped his fingers. "And boom, your ass is grass."

"You're lying!"

Percy chuckled. "Kronos, Kronos, Kronos. I never lie. And besides, I'm an archangel, it wouldn't be hard."

"So what, you're better than everyone else?"

Percy made a tsking noise. "Now, that's a loaded question. Power wise? Yes. But morally? Well, compared to you, I can be called Saint Lucifer."

Kronos stared at the man in a suit.

Percy looked at his watch. "Well, I have stuff to do. Just remember, you're only alive because I let you be."

Percy disappeared with the sound of flapping wings. Kronos stared at the spot where the son of God stood not a moment before.

LINE BREAK

"FALL BACK!" Thalia yelled to the Hunters.

They were losing ground. They were less than a block away from the Empire State Building, and the amount of monsters was growing bigger. It didn't help that Percy had showed up and told Zoë something. They had quickly left for the Empire State.

Percy and Zoë cut open their palms, feeling no pain. Percy had done something to their bodies so they wouldn't feel a thing until he willed them to. Percy took their blood and applied it to the door. Their red liquid glowed blue as Percy chanted in summerian.

The entire building glowed blue as runes and symbols appeared. They stuck out all over the building. Percy had just used magic to prevent anything less than an Olympian from entering the building, without Percy's consent of course.

"GET IN THE EMPIRE STATE NOW!" Percy yelled.

Everyone retreated into the building. The monsters ran at the open doors, only for them to all slam shut. The claws of dracaenae scratched at the glass, but it couldn't do anything.

That was when a loud ROAR was heard. Slithering, coiled around a building, was a massive drakon. It's yellow eyes stared at the entrance to Olympus. Not only that, but the army of monsters was marching closer.

Percy sighed. "You know, I knew this was going to happen, but I just really hoped it wouldn't."

Zoë looked slightly worried at the drakon that was slithering down the building.

Percy turned to look at the gathered demigods. He ran a quick headcount. They were all there, except for...

"Where's Silena?"

That was when they heard the cry of "ARES!".

About a dozen chariots made of solid gold with red banners being pulled by horses made of bones with manes of fire bulleted down the street. 30 warriors with various weapons looked on with burning hatred.

The one in the lead held an electrified spear. Half of the chariots broke off to deal with the incoming army, while the others charged at the drakon. They circled the drakon, testing it's defense.

The drakon coiled up and shook its tail like a rattlesnake. It lunged forward and narrowly missed Clarisse. She took the chance to stab it in the eye. The serpent-like creature screeched in pain, recoiling back.

It looked around, before unleashing a fire hose spray of poison. It didn't hit anyone as the Ares campers had been training for this for their entire lives. The fight was actually going pretty well.

But of course, like all Greek things, tragedy struck. The drakon struck and gulped down a camper. Another got flinged off his chariot with a swish of his tail.

It wasn't like they didn't have help. The demigods had fled the Empire State Building. The Hunters were trying to distract the drakon with a rain of arrows. The other demigods were holding back the army.

Percy was trying to fight the drakon, but he had to be careful. He could kill the thing, but to do so would have dire consequences. He was already condemned to Hell, but this could put the entire world, or dad forbid, Zoë, in danger. After all, his father still had his 'Old Testament Wrath'.

He would throw a fireball at it, but it did nothing.

The overgrown snake launched another stream of poison and this time, it hit Clarisse.

"NOOOO!" A voice yelled out. Percy looked over, bracing for what he knew he was about to see.

Clarisse, wearing no armor and weaponless, standing there. She rushed over to the fallen girl and picked up the spear.

Clarisse ran at the drakon, used her spear as a vaulting pole, and stuck the spear straight through the monster's eye. She pushed the weapon as far in as she could, stabbing the thing all the way through the (very small) brain.

The drakon crumbled to dust. Clarisse and anyone who wasn't busy with a war ran to the fallen girl's side. Clarisse took off the helmet to reveal a dying Silena Beauregard.

"Why would you do that?!" Clarisse cried.

"They... wouldn't... listen. Needed... you."

"So you stole my armor, masqueraded as me?! That's not okay!"

"It's alright. I... I... don't... feel... guilty... anymore." Silena said weakly, before her eyes closed.

Everyone gathered stared down at the poison-covered body. Except for Percy, who's eyes went up.

And for a moment, despite the literal violence happening around them, Percy smiled.

A/N. I'm gonna be honest, I'm very nervous to post this.

I got a comment saying the last chapter was boring, so I tried not to make this one boring. But if I'm being honest, I don't know how this works. I'm a young kid with a computer. I don't know jack shit about character development, or world building. I don't know how to make a fight interesting, or how to make something sad. So, if this is boring, I'm sorry, and you are in no way obligated to follow this story if you don't like it anymore.

Whew, okay, now that I got my stupid insecurities out of the way, I hope you liked this. I debated whether to delete this chapter and start over, but one thing I learned from school, is that if you change something, it's going to be bad. For example, We Are Venom. Fun Fact, that was supposed to be a one shot where Percy gets Venom down in Tartarus with Annabeth. Then he kicks Gaea's ass. And I changed it. (Every time I look at that thing, I want to vomit. But hey, that means I must've grown, right?)

Anyways, thoughts?
