"We may be able to breathe, but I still feel like I'm suffocating here..." A group of future Hope's Peak Academy students wake up on a spaceship, with Pilot Monokuma urging them to kill if they wish to return home to Earth. The depressing darkness of the cosmos will do anything to a person's mind, and 20 teens trapped together never ends well...

The manor lies at the edge of the forest, allowing teeters of black pines to grind against its wall like sandpaper. Accompanied by the howling winds of thundering snow, the darkness is defending, the shining layers consuming all in its wake. But darkness cannot last forever, and in the midst of the chaos, a glint of shimmering gold and glowing blood can be seen.

Twenty-four people have booked rooms at the most luxurious of remote island resorts. We hope they enjoy their stay, but they can leave if they don't. They simply have to play a killing game, one that's vastly different from the standard form. If they play wisely, all of them could survive, but will they actually succeed?
