![]() Author has written 5 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Tokyo Ghoul/東京喰種トーキョーグール. Hello, I am UltimoFear (no that is not my real name) and I love to write FanFics for readers like you to enjoy. My FanFics will never be one-shots for I personally like a long story and my experience is that lots of people like a good solid story. My stories will hopefully all have original storylines for I have a VERY VERY active imagination and ideas for storylines constantly float around in my head. THINGS I HATE - One-Shots and stories which are updated very slowly THINGS I LOVE - Original storylines, Chinese food, Pizzas, and long stories that are in no way boring. My favourite music genre? That is a question I've been asked so many times, but I don't have any favourite music genre. I listen to just about everything (not literally everything) and my taste in music ranges from rock to melodic dubstep and everything in between. So yeah, I have some artists in various genres I can definitely recommend to anyone who likes the respective genre. So here we go! For the rock/metal genre I'd have to recommend: Rise Against - This band kind of falls under the metal genre, but it's not really that metal at all. They have some outstanding energetic fast-paced songs and also a few more calming songs with deeper lyrics. If you're looking to do a trial run, I'd recommend you to listen to Prayer of the Refugee, Broken Mirrors, Satellite, Savior, Injection and Hero of War Starset - Though this band does not have many songs yet, they have intrigued me with their unique alternative rock style. They show much promise and their current songs are also pretty amazing. Once again, for beginners, I'd start by listening to My Demons, Carnivore, It Has Begun and Antigravity Bring Me The Horizon - Though this is technically a metal band, their latest album is not that metal at all, and comes closer to hard rock than metal. For metal fans, their earlier albums should provide you with enough listening material, and for those of you not really into metal, their latest album, That's The Spirit, is a real gem. I'd start by listening to Throne, True Friends, Blasphemy and Avalanche For the Chillstep/Melodic dubstep genre I also have a couple of artists I simply cannot keep quiet about, namely: Nightcall - Though Nightcall recently changed his name to Modesty, many of his songs are still under the name Nightcall (which I find a way cooler name than Modesty anyway, but oh well). Nightcall's songs have that enthralling feeling to them that makes me repeat them over and over and still get chills every damn time. It has to be heard to be explained, which is why I will recommend some of Nightcall's best, namely, Dead V with or without vocals, both are amazing, because Dead V simply has the most intense heavy bass hitting beat coupled with an amazing melody. Besides Dead V I also highly recommend Reverie (once again an enthralling and intense melody) and Rainfall, which has the most beautiful vocals and melody I've heard in a while. Noctilucent - The artist that makes the most calming chillstep songs you'll ever hear. Ever get stressed out and just need to really calm down a bit? Well, Noctilucent's got you covered for several lifetimes, his songs are extremely well thought out and put together, from the vocals to the melody and the beat. If you want a quick sample of his amazing work, listen to Something New, A Spring Without You (an upbeat song in which Noctilucent is featured, and is a bit more energetic than the rest, but is still simply amazing) and Meant to Shine (remastered version in Noctilucent's EP Stars is best) Speo - This is a small melodic dubstep artist whose songs have me hooked from the first goddamn second. Literally. Speo is an absolute hidden talent who doesn't have many tracks yet, but is a favourite of mine nonetheless. The only thing I can say about Speo's music is: Absolute. Fucking. Eargasm. If you like melodic dubstep, you're going to love Speo. To get an eargasm, follow this simple ranking system of the best Speo songs (listen to the 3, then 2 and then the grand number 1). Coming in at number 3 is Beyond with it's awesomely made dubstep melody that just fits with every instrument that you hear. At number 2 sits Horizon due to the fact that it simply radiates a story with it's eargasm worthy melody. And, the award for the most eargasmic Speo song ever conceived goes to Reminiscent. This song literally gives me goosebumps every time. The flow of the dubstep and the melody of the piano and all the other sounds come together into one melodic masterpiece, I cannot get anough of it and have been repeating it more times than I'm willing to admit. |
