Also, I for some reason have entered the MHA fanbase….Gang Orca is my favorite along with Tokoyami as second and Kirishima being a close call of third. Endeavor is a dick. That's all I will say.

Additionally, its been awhile since I did a longer chapter for this story.

Don't You Worry Child – Swedish House Mafia

There was a time
I used to look into my father's eyes
In a happy home
I was a king, I had a golden throne
Those days are gone
Now they're memories on the wall
I hear the songs from the places where I was born

Up on a hill across the blue lake
That's where I had my first heartbreak
I still remember how it all changed
My father said

Don't you worry, don't you worry, child
See heaven's got a plan for you
Don't you worry, don't you worry now
Yeah

Siren glanced around as her finials twitched around to make sure the area was deserted. On her back clung a young mechling as she took silent pedesteps. The battle raged off in the distances, but she knew anybot could come upon them and she still had ways to go before her guard could be lowered. A whimper broke through the silence making it seem even louder than what is really was. Turning to look at the mechling that clung to her back tightly she gave low a purr to try and ease the tension the young bot had in his cables.

Bright blue, round optics stared at her bi-colored ones fear clearly being seen in them. The yellow of the mechlings armor made him stand out with the light shade only being tampered some with the black breaking it in places. He had been found trying to hide from the battle that had broken out in the area, and it was only by Primus that it had been them to find the lost mechling. A bot by the name of Seaspray ordered Siren to take the mechling to safety being she was a medic but could pass through danger better and faster than one that transformed into a vehicle by being able to hide and hunker down.

It would be a long way back to where she needed to bring the mechling, but she would do it and make sure the young bot was given energon. Who knew when he had energon last.

Her focus snapped with both finals at attention as she worked out what it was. After another breem, she slowly begun again to make her way as far as she could. The landscape soon opened up as the clustered and crumbling buildings gave way to flat planes of metal. It was here she stopped at the edge that would lead out into the wide open letting the mechling off of her back. Even with the sounds of battle having long been silenced joors ago with the distance she made, she knew they weren't out of danger yet. Seekers could be patrolling, and she had yet to master dodging that kind of fire power from air.

Glancing at the yellow mechling she gave a huff of air at him watching him take in the area slowly yet tense still. She could understand why. Suddenly being found by a group of bots, then put on the back of a vixen that took him away from all of the fighting could make any bot guarded. Without taking her eyes off of the young bot her prostatic wormed its way out with her datapad and went about typing.

Handing the pad to the mechling she gave a small purr to encourage him to read it. We will be taking a small break here. I have medical energon stored within me if you would like some. I know Seaspray and the others gave my name, but I am Medic Siren of the Autobots. I have been given the mission of seeing you back to safety at Iacon. It will be a long journey with little breaks as the faster we get there the better off we will be. Be strong young one.

The yellow mechling could only nod giving her back the pad that soon disappeared only for two cubes to appear with one being given to the yellow bot. As they both took sips of the liquid Siren made sure to keep an audio out for anything. Once both cubs had been finished she stored them and turned her side to the mechling to bind down some for him to climb back on. Siren waited until he was settled as she took the datapad out again to type.

It will be some time before we stop again. Hang on as long as you can. I know you must be exhausted with everything that has happened but keep awake as long as you can. We are heading into a more dangerous area as we will not have cover if an enemy seeker spots us. Be sure to have a good grip when I take off as it's a small habit I have.

Taking the pad back from the mechling to store it she was given a small answer. "O-okay, Siren." His big bright optics shined with fear yet underneath she could see the determination to do as she asked. Feeling his grip on her plating tighten as she instructed she took off. Her vorns of shooting out of the gate in her racing cycles still having a habit of taking over from cable memory. A cry of surprise at the momentum came from the yellow mechling only to change into something that made Siren smile on the inside. His tiny giggles reached her finals as he felt the air rush past them from the speed she had set. Siren knew setting this pace would help with getting more distance but wouldn't tired her out or overheat her frame for a long while. The joys of having kept up her training at times from cycles past that led to her being able to keep up with other bots that drove around.

Joors went by as she ran. The heat that came off of her frame was started to rise enough that it was becoming uncomfortable for both Siren and the mechling. This was her que to find a place, if she could, to stop for a time to cool down. Glancing around the flat plain that held few things to use as cover had Siren growling softly.

Having seen the vixen glance around the mechling did as well but found nothing. It wasn't hard to know what she was wanting having felt the slow rise of heat that came off of her frame in the last joor of her running. Suddenly he spotted was looked like a hole in the metal and quickly tapped the red plating earning her attention. Quickly he pointed ahead of them to the darken spot feeling the vixen adjust her direction a little to head straight to it. Upon reaching it Siren slowed to a trot as she glanced around it and slowed more to a walk.

It was jagged at the edges but had a decline that she could use to get under the metal field they stood on. It would be a tight fit with her bulk, even if she crawled. Turned to the mechling she gave him a soft bark before leaning down a little to let him off. Once he was off she took her pad out. I will go in first to make sure it will fit us and to make sure nothing else lives within. I will be quick. The mechling nodding watching as the large vixen put her helm into he hole to take a sniff as bi-colored optics scanned the opening.

Soon she worked to wedge herself through the opening at times scrapping her plating on the jagged edges that left scratches along where it touched. Once inside Siren quickly worked herself further in sniffing as she went before a few breems passed that led her into an area that opened up to make a bigger space. The decline wasn't too bad making it seem made by some cyber animal that had abandon it ages ago from the smell of stale air. Taking this as a good sign she quickly worked her way back out to let the mechling inter. By the time both were in the den Siren had many scraps on her plating that had her fuming just a little. She wasn't vain by a long shot but even most would get irritated by the scratches. A nice waxing would be great once she reached Iacon.

Looking to the mechling she started to type. So, little mechling, what's your designation?

"The name is Bumblebee." Siren perked up at this name. Memory fleeting her in her long age, but the name hit a bell within. Who knew she would be the one helping young Bumblebee get to Iacon to later become an Autobot. No matter, it was already in motion, she had a duty to do now that she wasn't having to run for their lives.

Bumblebee? A good designation. Now as I am a medic and being as you are much smaller than me stand up. I want to run a diagnostic to make sure you haven't gained any malware during your time on your own. She ordered the young bot watching as he quickly did so. She ran a scanner over him as the data appeared on her pad. Not bad but could be worked on. Energon levels low but that is a given. Wear and tear on the protoframe only by a small amount with his plating taking the most burden of the damage. Nothing a little time resting wouldn't fix. So far, so good young one. Now, unlock your port so I may run a program to find out the internals.

Bumblebee did as asked feeling the plating on the back of his neck click open as Siren moved a prosthetic to link with using a smaller cord to do so as he was quite small. Here she went over his firewalls and anti-virals finding they were decent. Though he could use an update to the anti-viral programs as they weren't at optimal standards. Or at least to the standards of her mentor. It was here she was able to get a better look at the levels of his energon as the scanner wasn't that great in giving deep details other than spark energy and energon level. Using the patch she was able to get the levels of what nutrients the young bot what possibly missing, what ones he had a good levels, or what bad ones he gained.

She could also get a better reading of his spark level, but she would still need to have a look at it like most bots have to for getting a physical in a way. Once she was satisfied she let the link disband. Now, if you would be ok with it, I will need to take a quick at your spark. Just to make sure everything looks in good shape. It's just like any other check up your creators had you do.

Bumblebee shift a little but nodded his consent knowing this was just her making sure he was in good standings. Having done this before with his creators he unlocked the binding that kept his plating secured then let the clippings to his spark camber open. The gentle blue light of his spark filled the room as Siren quickly looked it over. With his young age his spark flickered brightly and was wavering in a playful childish way that had Siren smiling softly on the inside. With a nod to the mechling he quickly shut and snapped the binding back in place.

You are in good shape for however long you were on your own but you have shown that you are lacking in some levels so you will be stuck with med grade for a bit of time even when we reach Iacon. Spark levels are good as well and your spark is in good shape. With only rest and the need to raise those levels you are in good health young one. Siren huffed a little at the bashful look he gave her. You had some bots that could flirt on the dime with their spark showing and then you had bots that grew shy, and it seemed Bumblebee was one of the latter. Now, we will have a cube each. With these runs I will be doing med grade will be my saving grace along with you refueling those needed level as you are a growing mechling. For now, we will rest as this maybe the only place that goes underground that will allow us to relax from prying optics.

With that said and done she subspaced the pad and shifted into a comfier position that had her helm laying on her front pedes while her back half twisted a little to lay on her left side. It wasn't long before she felt recharge come over her. Before it fully consumed her, Siren felt weight lean into her side and warmth of another frame fill the bit of space between them. Cracking an optic open to the yellow mechling she grunted as she shifted some more to encircle him with her larger one. A hum of content was softly release from him at the encloser.

The next two cycles went by before Siren made it to the edge of Iacon. Seeing the city-state had her slow to a trot letting her frame relax a little knowing they were in a safe zone. With no more med grade stored within her she was glad to have made it.

An Orn Later

Walking through the door that slid open she came to a full stop at the sight she was witnessing. Now having known this mech for so long and having seen the crap he got into she was pretty well versed to the surprise he gave out at times. This time, it was a little different. Instead of blackened and broken parts, fires, or even missing limb at times from the mech, this time she found him holding duel swords in stances that showed he was knowledgeable in using them.

When in the hellfire of Unicron did he learn to use swords?

"Oh, hello there Siren!" Wheeljack called out having spotted the vixen standing in the doorway. "What brings you here?" He asked putting the swords up along his backside. This had Siren tilting her helm having NEVER noticed them placed there before. Why now of all times to finally notice swords that were magnetized there.

Taking sign of her confused optics he glanced to the hilt of one of the swords. It grew clear to the tri-colored mech as he turned to the vixen. "I never told you about being able to spar with swords did I?"

Siren gave him a 'no shit' look before rolling her optics at the mech to finish making her way into the room as she took out the pad. Did you have any plans for a few joors, Jackie?

"No, I was pretty much finished with what I wanted done this cycle. It was why I was doing my stances." He answered. "What did you want to do?"

Was thinking of having a race at one of the raceways nearby. Haven't been on a run since helping young Bumblebee get here. Need a good stretch for the cables. Wheeljack chuckled a little at that. Since First Aid leaving Cybertron nearly a vorn ago the two tried to figure ways to unwind with most ideas leading to a no. It wasn't until he took her to the raceway for a race knowing she once use to ran them as a career that it had become a pastime for the two.

"I'm good with doing a few laps. You sure you'll be able to keep up?" He teased following the vixen as they left the room. Siren rolled her optic once more with a snort. You'll eat my dust, mech.

Wheeljack smirked at her. "I dunno, we seem to be tied at times. Though, I do remember have two wins on you my dear red friend."

Siren growled lightly at the jab as she used her bulk to nudge the mech into a sidestep some. Her optic brighten at the feeling of the mech walking with her and her frame ease some being tense from the cycle of caring for bots with many not making it. No matter what, Siren could always find her way to relax just a little being near this mech with his jovialness. When First Aid was still with them she would be able to find either mech to unwind with or both. With only one of this still near she would spend most of her time with Wheeljack.

Reaching the raceway the two looked to find which track to race on or what ones were still free to claim. What Siren found enjoyable with their raceways was, much like her racing days, they had obstacles in the way for bots to have to dodge or at times even half transform in order to jump over. Agreeing on Delta Compass the two paid for the using of the track. Taking the time to work her cables in a few stretches as they took the lift to the platform that held the track she felt the excitement fill her spark. Even with having resent her career of a racer at times in her early vorns of life Siren still found joy in the thrill of running like her frame was designed to do.

"If I win, you get to buy my drinks for the night." Wheeljack smirked at her trying to spice up the race. Siren snorted in good humor as she typed out her demand. I win, I get the full care package. With a shake of his helm Wheeljack agreed giving the vixen a smile as he shifted to his alt mode. He revved his engine in his show of readiness as Siren altered her form into position her optics keeping straight ahead of her.

The beeps that sounded rang out in a count down till it reached that last one that rang out like a loud horn. Tires squealed as Wheeljack gunned it forward, his back swiveling a little from his sudden momentum. Siren not having to work any tires was ahead taking long strides feeling her pedes eat up the flat track. A final perked forward while the other flicked back and forth to keep track of the roaring engine that belong to the mech.

Much like the tracks in her racing cycles these ones had a similar set up. The first being a mud pit that had both groan internally. They had both forgotten this track started with mud. Being as the mech had tires and more of a sportier type of frame he had trouble all of the time working to stay in a relative straight line. Siren on the other pede had found herself tripping on the slimy dirt that would lead her to sliding. Both getting covered in the stuff during the race.

She gave a gaggle in barking form teasing the mech that lagged behind some once they hit the mud pit. The slushing sound rapid under her pedes using her claws to help dig into the slim to find better purchase to the deeper parts. Mud flung up each time her pedes came out letting the mud clumps slap against her underside and into the seams of her plating. The slime of mud itching from within and clung to her protoform. Soon the mud pit came to an end and metal once again being stomped on with globs of mud leaving a trail after her. The gunning of Wheeljack's engine revved as he found metal only spinning out a little as the mud was flung from his tires before finding grip to race off after the vixen that was in front.

Soon the two found themselves heading to a field of pillars and beams at all angles with some leaving very little room to get through. Siren took the high side while Wheeljack kept his tires to the ground working around corners of the pillars in a drifting way. Siren jumped from one beam to the next with a few having to slide down at the angle they were at. It slowed her down a little, but she was able to stay ahead of the mech as she watched him slide a little sideways at several of the corners to make it past the pillars. Soon her pedes hit the ground again as she took to weaving through the pillars as Wheeljack used his momentum to spring up into the air half transforming into a twist in the air as a way to get over a beam that was in his way. If he hadn't it would have hurt to crash into the thick beam.

Taking the part he shifted back into his full alt mode he revved forward to meet with the tail tip of the vixen to the tip of his hood. With a low chuckle the mech quickly sped up to over take the vixen as the next hindrance arrived this time leading into a cylinder that had a way with gravity when parts of it disappearing and/or rotating at times. One never knew what it would be.

The moment the two battled into the long cylinder it started to spin. A yelp of surprise left Siren as she found her pedes going from under her to over her and it wasn't just her that it happened towards. Wheeljack quickly transformed into root mode to twist around only to have a frame slam into his backside. He grunted from the impact only to hit the ground with the added weight before being flung again as the ground continued to spin around before stopping. Siren found herself slamming into the ground quickly working to find her pedes before the next something happens.

Taking his alt mode again the mech sped off after the vixen that took the lead once more only having to use his rapid reflexes to shift to us the momentum he had to shoot into the air after watching the ground lower into a chasm in order to make it to the other side only for the ground to spin once more as he landed causing him to spin around. He wasn't the only one going pede over helm before the ground came to a sudden stop making both slam once more into the ground. Both moved back into the race only with Siren having to quickly volt over an abruptly no longer there floor. With a grunt of effort from the absorption Siren watched as the mech zoomed past her and out of the cylinder from Unicron.

This next part was just flat smooth metal ground that had Wheeljack taking more ground. Even with her history of a racing career no Turbofox could out run a wheeled base mech on flat ground. That was what showed the difference of speed between the two styled frames. While Siren held more visibility with taking corners and jumping over things without needing to shift forms, Wheeljack had her on straight out races. It was the main reason they stayed away from those types of tracks as it would never give the vixen a shot in winning a race.

The next and last bit what the hardest for both. It would force the mech to go root mode in order to traverse the thin beams that required balance. They zigzagged, connected to each other at points or all together stopped which surrounded the bot with a deep pit all around those thin beams. It would be here that determined the winner. With the lead Wheeljack had on the vixen he sprinted down the beam on pedes knowing his alt mode would have no room as he barely had any for his own two pedes. By the half way mark he glanced back to find Siren starting on the last obstacle as she deftly made her way over the beams having better balance on them.

Time seemed to speed up yet slow down as Siren past him in a skillful jump onto another beam. Her bi-colored optics glinting with pure bliss and serenity that had the mech focusing on that gleam when she glanced towards him. Only a few rare times has he seen her in such a way that he strived in his spark to keep her that way. It would always hit Wheeljack in the spark when he would catch her looking in such a lovely way. Warmth spread throughout his frame knowing he was able to help her find just a small bit of light in such deepening darkness.

By the time Wheeljack made his way to the end Siren was already taking the lead by several leagues. Her pedes consumption the ground as she pushed with everything she had knowing Wheeljack would overtake her on this flat ground. The finish line was speeding quickly to her that her focus was purely on winning that Siren didn't realize Wheeljack had been gaining on her tail before he remained at the spot until she crossed the line. Pulling up on herself she slowed down to a trot to turn back towards the mech as he transformed into root mode to wait for her to return.

Both turned to the screen to see the holopicture of their finish. It showed Siren crossing first with Wheeljack touching tip to tip with her tail. Spinning to the mech she sauntered up to him as he gave an overly dramatic bow. "As per the deal, you shall have a nice warm oil bath. Following it, a deep work into sore and overworked cables. Last but not least, a great rub down on the plating of wax for a pleasant shine."

If she could smile Siren would have been at the silliness the mech was doing as she gave him the datapad. I shall enjoy this long-awaited win, Jackie. Wheeljack grinned as the two walked off of the track to enjoy the rest of the cycle. Even if that meant a job for the mech but he would do it even if he won.

KEZZ 1, devonfazbear, and Lorena Cardenas thank you for the favorite and followed!

KEZZ 1 – Aww thank you! I really appreciate that.

Steelcode – Hey! Its been so long! And yes, Wheeljack is a good friend of hers, but I am going to miss the First Aid moments with her.

Purest of the Hearts – Sadly they are no longer a couple. I had so many troubles that I had to go back a few chapters to redo it as I couldn't get the story to continue so I had them stay as really good friends. I have plans for her to see First Aid later so I'm for sure going to get them back.

R&R! Til All Are One!
