I looked to my troll as the cold rain floated down again. His normally light blue, furless skin paling at the ends of his limbs. His hide wraps on his forelimbs did little to keep them from shaking from the cold. His whole body only shook off and on, but that might have to do with the fact that some of this frozen rain has settled on his hide armor.
I still lay flat on my stand. My stinging tail lashed off and on to voice my agitation at this cold rain for me.
Thankfully, my troll held a stick of flame between the two of us. Keeping us warmer than we would have been without. We're not allowed to have big flames near this area in case some warriors needed a flight back to their nest. Hard to see where to land to where to take off with all the smoke. Orcs, trolls, tauren, goblins, a few of those elves, even those smelly corpse people. They used to fly in and out all the time.
Nowadays. It's just me and my troll.
Huddled by my post, around a small torch, warding away the cold rain.
It's not lonely. I've got him.
A shadow from overhead. Another kin flying in with someone from the large nest to our south. Smells like an orc. After dismounting, they sprint off to someone to take orders and run out of our area and into the wilds.
This is fine. I'll be here in case she needs to get back to the nest.
It's only lonely for him when I'm gone.
I'm only lonely when I'm gone.
Huddled by torchlight, we'll keep warm and keep each other company.
AN: Oh, gods. Oh, no. T_T I'm so sorry I just noticed that the doc totally had some errors in transferring to here. T_T
Fixed it for you guys, my apologies.
