Reformed Saiyans
Chapter Forty-One: When the Nightmare becomes Petrified
"Is..Is it over?" Dende asked. The young Namekian removed his arm from his face, previously shielding his eyes from the incredible brightness of the blast before. He looked at his surroundings, Krillin was not far off, right next to him, but the others were missing. The ocean had been pulled into the giant gaping hole where the Spirit Bomb and Frieza once were.
Well, not all of the ocean but a good amount of water flowed into the hole.
"I think so." Krillin answered. "Let's go find the others, then you can get them healed up."
Dende nodded in response, following Krillin as he searched for everyone's ki signatures. Krillin floated around, above the water, till noticing a familiar black spike strand of hair. Krillin dived into the water to see Goku's unconscious body floating, he grabbed his best friend, putting Goku's arm over his shoulder.
Krillin carried Goku to a nearby island, where Dende healed him up.
Goku sat up and took a quick breath. "Thanks." He said, dusting himself off. Goku stood up, searching the area for Gohan's energy. "I can't sense Gohan's energy anywhere." Goku gave a worried look, as well as the two others. "And where's Yamcha?"
Goku whipped his head to the east, there was Yamcha's body halfway on a small broken mass of land.
"Over there!" Goku shouted. He rushed over to Yamcha with Dende and Krillin following behind him. Goku picked Yamcha up before returning with the two others to the previous island, where Goku placed Yamcha down so Dende could heal him.
Goku then looked and searched once more, flying across several islands, after about 5 minutes, no sign of Gohan was found.
"I...I can't find him.." Goku said.
"Are you sure?" Krillin asked, Goku nodded. Krillin turned to Yamcha. "Did you see him at all?"
Yamcha shook his head. "No, I didn't see him, or Frieza for that matter. I don't sense either of their energies."
"Are...they dead?" Dende said.
Krillin shrugged. "Maybe...maybe not. It depends, when we go unconscious are Ki Signatures become really weak and faint, so it's hard to sense especially if someone is in deep water or in a far distance."
"G-Grand Elder...is..is it over?" Elder Tsuno asked.
"I'm...not sure.." Guru answered. Thinking to himself, Guru couldn't help but unshake this feeling off him, something, and something just told him it was far from over. So despite the calm that rose over...the storm had just begun. "Be alert my children, for...I fear it's only the calm over the storm."
"But Grand Elder, I just saw them defeat Frieza! How is that possible?" Dende said.
"I do not know Dende, I.." Guru paused to let several coughs escape him. "I don't think its over yet.."
Dende let a frown form on his face. "With all respect Grand Elder, I hope you're wr-."
"NNNNNNEEEEAAAOOOWWW! BOOM!" A powerful purple energy beam shot through Dende's chest causing him to fall back. Krillin, Yamcha and Goku whipped their heads to Dende, gasping with shock.
"D-Dende!" Krillin shouted. Before they could even continue to be shocked about Dende's demise, a powerful slice of energy slit Yamcha's body in half, the halves fell to the ground, creating a horrific sight.. Both Goku and Krillin's eyes went wide, and another one of their friends, killed before their very eyes. Both fighters had felt helpless almost.
"Y-Yamcha!" Goku said. The two turned their heads to see Frieza standing on the cliff, with visible scratches and bruises, as well as some severe burns. In his hand was an unconscious Gohan, and on his face was pure anger.
"You know, try as I might, I just can't seem to get rid of you insolent fools!" Frieza yelled. "Let's see how you like being pushed to breaking point!"
"D-Daddy!" Gohan uttered, the boy barely able to speak his words due to Frieza's tight grip on his head.
"This is insane! How does he keep coming back!" Krillin said.
"D-Damn it! I thought we finished him!" Goku growled, clenching his fists angrily.
Frieza unleashed a quick kiai blast to Krillin, impacting the monk in his gut, causing him to gasp for air. Immediately after, Frieza pulled Krillin to him, grasping Krillin with his right hand.
"Bravo! You nearly brought me down, as much as it pains me to admit it!" Frieza shouted. "However…" Frieza chuckled wickedly, and cracked an evil smirk. "I've been wondering...just what would happen if a Father had to bury his child? Hm?"
"Frieza! Please! Don't!" Goku begged. "He's just a boy! Leave him out of this!"
Frieza raised an eyebrow. "Oh? So you'd rather me kill the dwarf?" Frieza smiled.
Goku's jaw widened. "No! Please! Don't kill Krillin! He can't be brought back to life again! I'll do anything!"
"We're way past the bargaining stage simian ape." Frieza replied. "It's your choice. The dwarf, or your son?"
Goku remained silent, and gulped, sweat dripped heavily from his forehead.
"Tick Tock, the Clock continues, if you do not make a decision, I'll make it for you." Frieza smirked.
"Damn it!" Goku clenched his fists and closed his eyes tightly before reopening them a second later. "What am I supposed to do!"
"Goku! It's fine, save your son!" Krillin uttered. "If...If Gohan can go free without having to die...then I'll take the sacrifice!"
"What?! No Krillin you can't!" Goku shouted. "You've already been brought back once...We...We can't revive you anymore if you die again!"
Krillin let a nervous chuckle escape him before smiling. "I..I know" He replied. "If..If it means saving Gohan, then take him and go. We'll find some other way to bring me back, we always do, and even so, all these years, this adventuring, becoming best friends with you, I'd never take it back even for a second. We will meet again some day!"
"Krillin stop talking like that!" Goku said, resisting the urge to tear. "I..I can't lose either of you!" He slammed his fist into the ground. "Damn it! There has to be something I can do!"
Frieza shook his head in disappointment. "Tick Tock Monkey! Make a decision!" Frieza replied. "You're running out of time and my patience has already been drained."
Goku bit his lip, and had hoped something, just something could come along to save the day. Nothing came...This..this was it.
"Five...Four...Three...Two.." Frieza said. "One."
Frieza pulled his fist back, preparing to strike it towards Gohan's gut.
"FRIEZA WAIT NO!" Goku screamed. However, the decision had been made, as a splatter of blood poured from the hole formed in Gohan's gut. Frieza threw Gohan to the ground like a plastic bottle.
"I guess this one gets to go freely." Frieza said, throwing Krillin to the ground.
Goku got closer to the body of his son and lifted him. "G-Gohan!" Goku shouted.
"D-Dad.." Gohan uttered, his voice was weak, and his pupils began to fade. "I...I can't feel anything..it's so..cold." The child's last breath escaped his lungs, as his pupils and lifeforce faded forcefully from him.
"Gohan! No!" Goku cried. Tears formed down Goku's cheeks. And for a moment nothing was heard, nothing at all. Silence roamed in the air of Namek yet again.
Krillin's eyes had gone wide, stunned at the sight with disbelief, Gohan was dead, he was actually dead. Even he had such a hard time believing it, especially since the amount of times Gohan's come through for them so far, he's gone now. Dead.
Suddenly, a powerful roar echoed across the planet, similar to that of an Oozaru as Goku shouted to the top of his lungs, lifting his head up. A Golden Ray of Light shined upon Goku as his hair lifted repetitively flashing bright Gold.
A thunderstorm emerged and lightning cracked. Small winds roared, and the waves waked once more, before quieting down, as Goku finished his pained roar. Goku formed a face, a face that showed both anger and sadness, both pain and loss, it showed grief. His energy flowing gently up, as the ray of light he emitted continued to shine at a gentle level.
Goku had formed a grieving face as he unveiled this strange and mysterious transformation, before proceeding to do anything else, Goku dug the ground, quickly burying his son. Then Goku looked at Frieza, who was in shock as was Krillin.
"W-What's this?! You're only supposed to transform into an ape!" Frieza snarled. "There's no such thing as a Saiyan transforming into...this!"
Krillin gasped again."Is..Is this what Vegeta was talking about?" He muttered, speechlessly.
Goku turned to Krillin who for a split second was startled. "Krillin. Round up every single Namekian, find the ship and Bulma! Take the ship and leave!"
Krillin gulped. "A-Alright!" He replied. To say Krillin was astonished would be an understatement, not only has Krillin ever seen Goku like this before, but this transformation? It's power was massive, Krillin could feel it's overwhelming presence. It was so powerful that Krillin easily knew Goku was more than capable of beating Frieza without thinking into it.
So he'd requested, Krillin instantly flared his aura to fly away, however an energy blast shot itself to Krillin but Goku appeared, deflecting the blast.
"Hurry!" Goku said. Krillin shook himself out of his stunned trance and nodded with a serious look. Goku turned back to Frieza, sending a spine chilling glare at the tyrant who looked furious, yet that fury was hiding something else that Frieza persisted to ignore. Finally, Goku let out an incredible roar, as his hair stayed spiked and his energy surged.
"I..I don't get it, I was dead!"
"And here I am...alive n-"
"What the hell was that!"
In two different locations, at the same time, two individuals turned their attention to a Golden light, and a familiar roar. All looked stunned as an overwhelming power surged, even far above that of Frieza.
"Is that...you brother?" Raditz muttered.
"Who the hell?!" Nappa gasped.
Goku turned his attention back to Frieza, instantly teleporting to the tyrant and grabbing his arm before he could fire another blast. Frieza tried to struggle free, fire at Goku even, but Goku stood silent and tightened his grip on Frieza's hand, nearly crushing it.
"You're the scum of the universe and I'm getting sick of it!" Goku growled. Frieza tried to move away but Goku tightened his grip more. "How many innocent people, how many of my friends have to die before you stop!"
Frieza continued to struggle, digging his feet into the ground, doing what he could to break free but nothing worked.
"Piccolo sacrificed himself to stop you and for what? You killed Yamcha! One of my friends!" Goku snarled. The now shining Saiyan growled angrily and continued. "Then! You went and made me play a game with my son and my best friend's life!"
Goku pulled Frieza's hand back and broke the tyrant's wrist, releasing his grip. Frieza screamed in agony gripping his shattered wrist in pain.
"You just keep killing one after another! Even my SON! NOW I'M TRULY ANNNNGRRRRRYY FRIEZA!" Goku bent his knees and unleashed his energy. His bright golden hair flowed with the roaring winds, and his bright golden aura surged.
Goku hurled his fist towards Frieza but Frieza vanished, however anticipating Frieza's movements, Goku pushed his hands against the ground to jump back, swinging his foot into Frieza's gut as Frieza reappeared behind him.
Goku then flew up a bit, lifted his hands high forming a big fist with the two and swung down, whacking it against the back of Frieza's head. Frieza crashed into the ocean, hitting against the hard ocean reef, then two seconds later jumping out onto hard solid ground.
Frieza panted heavily, and growled as he saw Goku float down on that same island.
"You slayed my son! MY ONLY SON! After making me play a game of life or death!" Goku gritted his teeth viciously, ferociously snarling. "Now! NOW! NOW I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU SUFFER!"
Goku's powerful charge of energy trembled the ground beneath his feet.
Frieza gritted his teeth in frustration, taking a step back. "This...this is impossible! I'm Lord Frieza! I'm the Strongest in the Universe!" Frieza growled in thought. He pointed in a random direction, shouting "Look over there!"
Goku whipped his head, clearly not seeing anything.
"Hahahaha! Stupid Monkey!" Frieza thought. He lifted a finger, and gathered energy above it. "Now I'll dec-"
Goku's fist struck mightily into Frieza's gut, forcing all oxygen in Frieza's lung to come out, and Frieza to cough a small puddle of blood out. Instantly after, Goku swung his other fist and smashed it against Frieza's right cheek, sending Frieza across the ground.
A short few seconds later, Frieza stood back up, with the same angry face. "How! How did you catch me so fast! That's impossible!" Frieza whined. The Tyrant charged after Goku, swinging both of his legs at an incredible pace.
Goku effortlessly dodged them all but one, blocking that last one then grabbing Frieza's leg before slamming him into the ground. The ground cracked, and Frieza felt intense pain generate in his back. Goku released his grip purposely so that Frieza could stand back up.
Frieza bounced backwards, darting away, and then slammed his fist into the ground. The island cracked then broke into several pieces, causing dust to generate everywhere. Frieza thought he could at least escape with a moment to think but he was wrong, dead wrong.
After throwing several energy blasts to where Goku had stood, or where Frieza thought he stood, Frieza cocked a malicious smile as he assumed his victory was near, only to find out that wasn't the case. Goku had stood behind Frieza, and Frieza could feel his presence, chills were sent down the Tyrant's spine.
Frieza hesitantly turned his head, swallowing hard. Upon the sight of Goku, Frieza flew an instant five feet away, bewildered.
"How does it feel?" Goku asked.
"The hell are you talking you filthy monkey!" Frieza hissed.
Goku growled lowly. "The feeling of helplessness!" He replied. Goku gritted his teeth, bursting his aura. "The same feeling you gave to me when you made me choose between two lives!" He clenched his two fists and planted his feet firmly in the ground. "THE SAME FEELING YOU GAVE TO A HELPLESS FIVE YEAR OLD BOY WHO WAS ONLY TRYING TO PROTECT HIS FRIENDS!"
Frieza growled with irritation, seething with anger, although it had paled in comparison to the rage that Goku bestowed in front of Frieza.
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Frieza screamed. He leaped back, firing several Death Beams at Goku, creating a mass smoke cloud to erupt. For a second Frieza's angry frown turned into a wicked smile before turning back into an angry frown at the reveal of Goku being unscathed.
"How! How is this possible!" Frieza said. "W-What...are you!"
"I am the Light of Truth!" Goku replied. "Your Nightmare!" Goku floated a few feet closer, expanding his aura. "I am the Saiyan.. Raised on Earth!"
"N-Nappa?!" Raditz gasped. He stopped soaring across the skies, at the sight of the brute, who as well stopped from sensing Raditz's energy. "You're alive?! But how! We saw you die!"
"The hell if I know! I'm just trying to figure out what's going on over there!" Nappa yelled, flying off immediately before Raditz could say anything else.
"This is...this is weird! If I can just recall what happened before…" Raditz thought, closing his eyes tightly. "Let's see, I was fighting Frieza…" Images of his fight flashed in his mind. "I transformed, then he transformed into that sleek looking form! Then he cut my tail…" Raditz paused to see if his tail was truly gone, it was, a frown appeared on his face. "Then..Then he killed me!"
The surreal images Raditz recalled became intense and painful to relive for a second, causing him to pant heavily, after a moment though he felt fine, as he's alive now.
"But...I'm alive no-." Raditz whipped his head, hearing a strange sound, almost like dirt and rocks breaking, realizing there was a fight going on with such two incredible powers, one that dominated the other. Raditz had flown over to the battlefield, where a shining Goku floated, making a speech. Raditz lowered himself right next to Nappa who as well was definitely full of life.
"The Saiyan that's come all the way here to beat you! The warrior of legends, pure of heart, and awakened by fury!" Goku shouted. He released all of his energy, and unleashed his full power. "I am the Hope of the Universe! I am the Super Saiyan! SON GOOOOKKKUUUU!"
Frieza stood momentarily filled with fear, which to the Saiyans below made them shocked.
"Is...That Kakarotto?!" Raditz gasped. "And..Frieza is actually scared of him?"
Nappa remained speechless, flabbergasted. "What the hell?! That's...That's the Legendary Super Saiyan! but how did that Low Class scum achieve such a form!"
Frieza snapped himself back into reality, and ceased his own fear. He formed a calm and normal expression on his face.
"Well...I stand corrected." Frieza said. "It appears the Legend exists after all. To think that...this Super Saiyan thing is real, but to be unlocked by someone so disgustingly pure? That makes sense I guess, it would explain Vegeta's inability to become one."
"Well? King Kai! Are you gonna fill in us or what! You said somebody died! Who!" Tien shouted.
King Kai gulped, and then replied. "I'm afraid...Yamcha and Gohan have met their demise at Frieza's hands…"
Tien and Chiaotzu gaped in shock and horror.
"W-What?! But I thought the Spirit Bomb took Frieza down!" Chiaotzu said.
"Yeah...and Gohan? I knew Frieza was evil...but Gohan was just an innocent child?!" Tien growled.
"Frieza is about as evil as they get." King Kai replied. "But..this awakened something in Goku, a special fury, a Legendary Form that hadn't been seen for thousands of years!"
"You mean, Goku did it? What Vegeta and Raditz were talking about?!" Tien asked.
King Kai turned around, lifted his gaze and nodded. "Yes it appears so, Goku has become the Super Saiyan, h'es more than capable of taking Frieza down." King Kai answered.
The two Earthlings gasped with shock. "N-No way!" They both said.
"Then there's hope after all...and at least Yamcha and Gohan have never been killed before, they can still be brought back to life." Tien pointed out.
"Yeah, not much I can say for you two though." King Kai frowned.
Tien sighed and shrugged. "It's fine, someday we'll find a way. We always do." Tien said. Chiaotzu nodded in agreement
After several minutes of the two clashing it out, with Goku easily proving him as the superior opponent, Frieza once again had lost all patience.
"This...This has to be some kind of ridiculous nightmare! There's no way anyone can match me in strength! It's not possible!" Frieza whined. A dark and red energy outlined Frieza's body as he unleashed a powerful wave of ki at Goku.
Goku waited for the blast to approach him, then unleashed a wave of blue energy against it. "Kamehame-HAAAAAA!" Goku shouted. The blast clashed with Frieza's blast then immediately overwhelmed and consumed Frieza's blast, and Frieza with it.
After a couple of moments, Frieza appeared panting heavily, somewhat more damaged than before, with visible burnt patches on him.
"THAT'S IT! I'M DESTROYING THIS DAMN PLANET!" Frieza thought. He floated near Goku, and gazed with an impassive look then smirked. Goku had lifted his eyebrow suspiciously in response. "This planet's done for you bastard!"
Frieza unleashed a powerful energy blast against the ground, and it dug deep into the Planet's core. Goku widened his eyes in shock, realizing he'd gotten far too confident.
"Damn it!" Goku said. "How long?!"
Frieza let an evil chuckle escape him as he lifted five fingers. "Five Minutes…" Frieza said.
"Fool! Don't you realize you'll die too!" Goku pointed out.
"Wrong…" Frieza said. "My race is capable of surviving the vacuum of space with no need of oxygen. I'll be fine, you on the other hand? I think not."
"KAKAROT YOU IDIOT!" Raditz yelled.
Both Frieza and Goku turned their attention below, seeing the three Saiyans. Frieza was pissed and shocked, whereas Goku was simply shocked and confused.
"R-Raditz?!" Goku said, floating down to two Saiyans. "How…" Goku paused. The now Golden colored Saiyan quickly realized the answer, the wish made from Shenron explained it. "You're alive…"
"Yeah and we'd like an explanation!" Nappa shouted.
"That's a bit of a long story uhm….?" Goku paused, scratching his head as he tried to remember the brute's name.
"Nappa…" Nappa growled, crossing his arms.
"Okay, in short. We used the Earth's Dragon Balls to revive those who were killed by Frieza and his men...and well…" Goku said.
"Since we weren't Frieza's men by the time of our Deaths, we were revived too, is that correct?" Raditz asked.
"Yeah. Listen, since you're all alive I need a favor to ask of you." Goku said.
"Hey if you think we're gonna be ordered around just because you're some Super Saiyan, then you're wrong!" Nappa shouted. "I'm done being ordered around!"
"I'm not ordering you around, if you don't wanna help, that's fine, but the sooner you help, the sooner you can get off this planet." Goku pointed out. "I need you guys to find Krillin, and help him round up all of the Namekians. You think Frieza's ship is big enough to carry them all?"
"Frieza's ship was destroyed by Frieza, but Zarbon's is the one that is still functional." Raditz explained. "It should however suffice as capable of holding over 130 passengers."
"Good, do you think you can take care of them?" Goku asked. Raditz nodded, but Nappa on the other hand…
"If you think I'm missing out on such a legendary fight to save a bunch of dumb Nameks, then you're wrong." Nappa said.
Goku clenched his fists tightly, growling under his breath trying to not get angry. "I'm not asking you to risk your life, I'm just asking for a little help! How hard is it for you to do that!" He yelled. Goku's presence became incredibly overwhelming. It was an odd sensation, but Nappa couldn't help but feel submissive in it.
Nappa swallowed hard. "Alright Fine. But I'm coming back to watch after this is over."
Both Nappa and Raditz flew away to find Krillin, and help round up the Namekians. Goku then floated back up to the still processing Frieza.
"Explain to me how those two are alive! I killed every single one of them by my hands!" Frieza yelled.
"It won't matter because I'm going to end you here, right now!" Goku yelled. He hurled his fist against Frieza's cheek, and into his gut. After Goku vanished, reappearing behind Frieza and kicking him in the back. Frieza flung to the ground, and crashed harshly on the ground.
Goku flew to the ground and waited for Frieza to stand up.
"You should know, I'm only at sixty percent of full strength!" Frieza said. "If you let me power up, I can give you a REAL match."
Goku narrowed his eyes. "You think I'm gonna fall for more of your dirty tricks?!" He yelled. "And regardless of lying or not, I won't let you stall for more time!"
"It won't take long! I can go from my current strength to full power in a mere short moment!" Frieza replied.
Goku thought for a second, the image of his son being killed made him rage with fury, as he sighed. "Fine. Power up. It won't matter anyways!" Goku said. "I'll still make you suffer regardless."
Frieza grinned widely, and began powering up, bending his knees and elbows, expanding his aura.
"Okay that should be everyone." Krillin said.
"Wait! Where's the Grand Elder!" One Namekian said.
"He must be still at his place!" Elder Tsuno pointed out.
"Crap! I forgot about him." Krillin said. "How are we gonna get him here in time!"
"Please do not bother." Grand Elder's voice spoke. Everyone standing near Zarbon's ship could hear it, even Bulma who was waiting to finally take off. "I'm far too old to relocate, and running out of time."
"B-But Grand Elder, if you go, so do the Dragon Balls!" Elder Moori said.
"I know, I'd like to transfer my powers, but I'm not sure if any of you could make it in time. The world may have to live without the Dragon Balls." Guru replied.
"W-Without the Dragon Balls? But we can't do that!" Krillin said. "We need you to at least hold on a little longer, without the Dragon Balls...without them, Yamcha and Gohan will remain dead!"
"I'll take them there, just tell me who, and where to go." Raditz sighed, stepping forward. "I should be able to get there in a matter of seconds. This planet is hardly large anyways."
"I need you to bring Elder Moori." Guru answered
All of the Namekians turned their attention to Moori, who was a bit stunned.
"M-Me? But Grand Elder, I understand that we're running out of time and all, but me? Are you sure?" Moori asked.
"Yes I am sure, please come to me, and I shall transfer the knowledge, wisdom, and power of the Grand Elder." Guru said.
Moori gulped, and then nodded. "Alright, I will."
Raditz turned to Moori, and turned his back to the Elder. "Here hop on, it's weird, but It'll be faster if I carry you."
"Thank you stranger." Moori said. The Elder Namekian hopped onto Raditz's back, who was embarrassed as could be.
"Yeah yeah, just please don't make a big deal out of it. It's embarrassing as it already is." Raditz replied.
Raditz flared his aura, hovered off the ground, and soared away, generating mass winds to generate behind him.
"Alright! Hurry Up! The rest of you need to start getting inside, single file line!" Nappa commanded. One by one the Namekians entered the ship, mid way, one of them stopped. "What's the hold-up!"
"We're missing someone...actually we're missing a whole village." This Namekian wore a yellow vest, a white collar, and red pants. "I don't sense Elder Tannish and their village anywhere!"
"We'll find them, just get in the damned ship and stop worrying." Nappa growled.
The Namekian sent Nappa a glare, but obeyed anyways hoping that the village would be found.
At around the same time inside the ship…
"Is that everyone?" Bulma asked.
Krillin counted and looked around. "Yup, all except for Elder Moori who will be back soon."
"Okay good, I'd really like to go back home." Bulma said with a sigh of relief.
"So uh Bulma." Krillin whispered. "Are you sure you know how to fly this thing yet?"
Bulma shrugged. "Not sure but I've got a pretty good idea, after Goku decided to ditch me!" She said. "I've been taking the time to study this stupid machine."
"I hope so, gotta figure out how to get home somehow." Krillin replied.
"This is one hundred percent! My full power you simian ape!" Frieza shouted. The tyrant's upper body had bulked up, with his veins extremely bulged, it was clear his body was strained from transforming.
"Him going full power is really doing a job on banging him up…" Goku thought.
"Come on Goku! What the hell are you doing!" King Kai echoed.
Goku raised an eyebrow. "Uh...Who's this? King Kai right?"
"Yes it's me you idiot! What're you doing?! Why are you letting Frieza power up!"
"I can't, I need to see what he's made of." Goku replied.
"See what he's made of?! Are you mad! You can strike him now and be done with it!" King Kai pointed out.
Goku growled with frustration. "N-No! I can't! He killed and murdered a helpless child in cold blood! He killed my only son and didn't even think twice!" Goku yelled in thought. Closing his eyes and clenching his fists, Goku bursted his aura causing it to momentarily expand widely, reopening his eyes as he shouted. "I refuse to take the death of my son sitting down!"
Goku calmed his aura back down, and lowered his gaze, resisting the tears that slightly formed. "He...He didn't do anything to deserve this! Gohan was an innocent child!" He said. Goku let an angry grunt escape at the thought of Gohan dying. "And I'll make sure this bastard bleeds!"
"Okay fine! But there's no sense in waiting for him to reach full power!" King Kai replied. "Think of Krillin and the Namekians that were just revived!"
"They'll be fine, believe me." Goku said.
"Are you done blabbering to yourself yet monkey or can we get this show on the road!" Frieza wondered.
Goku took a stance, and clenched his fist. "Yeah, let's do it." Goku scowled.
Elsewhere in the Otherworld King Kai shook his head and sighed to himself.
Goku and Frieza charged at each other simultaneously, clashing their shoulders against each other, generating a powerful shock wave, and a stream of electricity to connect before imploding. A split second after, the two clashed their attacks together repetitively for several minutes.
"If you keep going straight, we should see it any minute. It stands out quite well so you should be able to see it." Moori said.
Raditz nodded in response, releasing any more speed he could out, and within a mere short moment, the palace of Grand Elder appeared in their sight. Raditz forced all of his speed out so they could hurry, landing on the ground within a millisecond.
"Wait here, I'll enter and talk to the Grand Elder." Moori said as he entered the place.
Raditz shrugged to himself, crossing his arms as he waited. As he waited for both Moori and Guru to finish their task, Raditz turned his attention to the battlefield, finally having a moment to process the current situation.
"So...Kakarotto has finally done it?" Raditz thought. He could sense the overwhelming power Goku exerted, and even the new power Frieza exerted, but despite it, Goku was still stronger. It was hard to believe, I mean after all they've been through, Frieza is finally getting what he so long had deserved. "You better teach that Bastard a new Kakarot!"
A slightly proud smirk appeared on Raditz's face, although he would not admit it if he were caught giving one.
"Hello Moori." Guru said.
Moori bowed respectfully before speaking. "Grand Elder." Moori replied with a frown on his face. He moved closer as Guru motioned for him to come. "Are you sure about this Grand Elder? Wouldn't it be better to try and relocate you when we're all here?"
"I'm sure my child, besides I am nearly fading away, and I can no longer continue to hold on." Grand Elder explained. "I have also already made my decision long ago on who would be the next Grand Elder. I know.." He paused to let a cough escape his mouth before continuing. "I know that this isn't exactly traditional, but circumstances have put themselves in tradition's way."
"Alright Grand Elder, if it's as you wish, then I'll take the sacred duty of becoming the Grand Elder." Moori replied. "I promise I won't fail you."
"I know you won't, that is why I've chosen you specifically." Guru said. "Please come a bit closer, all of my wisdom, knowledge, and powers will be given to you."
Moori walked to Guru's side where Guru placed his massive hand on him, similar to that of his potential unlocking, a fiery like aura enveloped itself around Moori before turning into a rising ray of ki. Only this time rather than simple power, it was the Role itself transferred, with the knowledge, the wisdom, the abilities, even Moori's presence was different, and his strength itself was increased dramatically.
As Guru began to fade away, he gave a message to all of his children.
"Goodbye my Children, Moori is now your new Grand Elder, I hope you respect him as much as I did, and that you all find Planet Namek yet again." Grand Elder telepathically said. Then he had faded, and Moori had let a few tears fall from his eyes.
"Goodbye Grand Elder." Moori whispered. After a minute, he walked to the elevator, floating down, and exited the place. "Let's go." He said, hopping back on Raditz's back. Although Moori was definitely far more powerful than before, he was still an ant compared to Raditz's strength.
Raditz unleashed his max speed and headed for the ship once more.
"I should've done away with you like I did that miserable brat!" Frieza yelled.
Goku growled ferociously with anger. "Miserable brat?" He said, calmly but with rage filled in his tone. "Miserable Brat?! That was MY SON!" Goku bent his knees and elbows, flaring his aura again. "That WAS MY SON! HOW DARE YOU TALK ABOUT MY SON THAT WAY!"
Goku rushed after Frieza, hurling his fist into Frieza's cheek, then rammed his fist several times into Frieza's gut powerfully. After the fifth strike into Frieza's gut, blood forced itself out of Frieza's gut. Goku lifted his two hands together high and slammed down on the top of Frieza's head.
"S-Simian Bastard!" Frieza uttered weakly as he stopped himself before hitting the ground, inches away. He flared his aura, rushing back to Goku, throwing a barrage of fists that Goku blocked or dodge, not moving an inch from his spot he floated in. Frieza had started to become increasingly mad, his technique getting sloppier.
With Frieza beginning to fear the worst, although denying it in his mind at the same time, an idea formed itself as his eyes feasted themselves on the lava geysers raging from the collapsing planet. Frieza smirked wickedly as he flew towards it, timing it.
He continued flying around, with Goku chasing after him, trying to throw him off tracks, making Goku confused.
"What is he planning?" Goku thought. He stopped, and Frieza stopped a second after. "Enough running. This battle ends now!"
"Alright Fine. Let's finish it you stupid monkey!" Frieza growled. He moved his eyes behind himself, seeing the geyser spout out. "Perfect, time to start the countdown." Simultaneously charging at Goku, the two's fists collided, generating a massive but short lived shockwave.
Each strike taken only made the planet further tremble beneath their ferocious might. Frieza thrusted his fist forward, aimed at Goku's jaw, but Goku blocked with his upper right arm, throwing a fist against Frieza's right cheek, and a knee into Frieza's gut.
As Goku aimed for another blow, Frieza recovered, retaliating with a leg swing into Goku's chest. "One…" Frieza counted. Being knocked back about twenty feet, Goku stopped himself from going further, turning his head to Frieza's new position as Frieza hurled his fist at Goku.
Goku lifted his two arms, creating an x, blocking Frieza's hit, then hurling a counter punch when Frieza pulled his back, the two fists clashed, and caused the winds to roar harder.
"Two…Three…" Frieza glanced behind him, hearing the geyser beginning to rumble. Inching his neck, he narrowly avoided Goku's fist. Frieza lifted his knee at Goku's gut but Goku vanished into thin air, reappearing behind Frieza. Frieza whipped around, only having time to block Goku's attack. "Four…Gotta go now!"
Frieza rushed at Goku, with Goku preparing to throw a fist, but Frieza lowered himself below Goku, flying away, and Goku chased after Frieza. As he passed the geyser's hole, it rumbled louder, beginning to spout as Goku had flown above it.
Goku's eyes went wide, he enveloped his aura around him as the massive lava geyser consumed him. While Goku was defending himself against the geyser, Frieza took his two hands gathering some dark electrical spherical energy in the palms of his hands, shoving them forward as it erupted into a wave of energy.
The blast struck Goku and took him down into the ocean, causing the water to erupt, and Goku to fade unconscious.
"Aagh..Where am I?" Goku said, rubbing his eyes and head. He looked at his surrounding, it looked familiar, he looked up and saw Frieza with Gohan in his hands. "G-Gohan?! How?!" He shook his head. "W-Wait I've s-seen this before…"
"Frieza Stooop!" A familiar voice echoed. Goku looked to his right and there was himself, shouting, it was a memory of his.
"Tick Tock Monkey!" Frieza yelled.
Goku's focus returned to Frieza, his rage began to boil. "Frieza! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" He yelled. He jumped forward, hurling a fist at Frieza, but he completely phased through, only able to see it. Once more, as Goku turned himself around, he saw yet again Frieza kill his only son. "Why are you showing me this! Make it stop!"
As if it couldn't be more coincidental, the images stopped. "W-What the hell is going on?" Goku wondered. It was weird, now he was seeing a blackish purplish void, something he couldn't understand. Then he saw something terrifying, it looked like his son, but there was a hole in his gut, blood streamed slowly from his mouth and the hole as well.
It came closer to Goku, whispering quietly. "W-Why couldn't y-you save me…" He said. "W-Why did you l-let me f-fight this monster."
Goku gulped, swallowing hard. "I..I tried! I wanted to save you, Gohan!"
"Then Why!" Gohan raged, his aura flaring. "Why…" The aura disappeared, as the image of Gohan broke down, crying. "Why did you let me die!"
"I'm sorry, Gohan! I didn't mean to…" Goku said. "I.." He paused and the image changed, this time it was a reflection of Chichi.
"How could you do this to me, Goku!" She yelled, slapping Goku, then breaking down herself. "You let our only son die!" Tears poured from her eyes, and all Goku could do was remain out of words.
"Chichi..I." He tried to place a hand on her but she blocked it away, getting back up.
"You're not the man I used to love! I hate you!" Chichi yelled, running away.
"COME BACK!" Goku shouted to no avail. He shut his eyes tightly, squeezing his head. "Make it stop!" After a second, Goku stood up letting loose a powerful roar as his hair turned gold again. "I SAID LET ME OUT OF HERE!"
Within that moment, Goku burst back into life, turning back into a Super Saiyan, causing the water around him to become still as it was pushed away from him. Before Frieza could react, a fist slammed into his gut, causing blood to force itself out of Frieza, another fist rammed into his jaw, a crack could be heard, then a knee to his lower rib cage.
Goku moved behind Frieza, cupping his fists together as he slammed the back of Frieza's neck, sending Frieza flying. Goku unleashed a volley of energy blasts against Frieza as he plummeted into the ocean. Goku panted heavily for a moment, knowing that Frieza would regain his balance during this time.
Coming out of the ocean, Frieza whipped around Goku, hurling a fist at Goku's cheek, but Goku pushed his face back, and Frieza's jaw dropped.
"I told you. I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU SUFFER!" Goku roared. He launched his fist against Frieza's jaw again, then into his right cheek, sending Frieza crashing.
As the battle had raged itself on, soon it had come clear Goku was superior. After a final impact in the ground, Goku de-transformed, confusing Frieza who was still trying to stand up.
"I'm done." Goku said.
"Wh-What?! What do you mean you're done?!" Frieza yelled.
"Exactly what I mean.. I'm done fighting. You've been giving it everything you got." Goku replied. He turned his back to Frieza. "But your energy has dropped immensely. That form of yours? It's drained you faster than you could even believe, it's also reduced your stamina."
Goku floated off the ground, slowly taking off.
"Simian Bastard!" Frieza growled. He chased after Goku to assault him but Goku whipped around, kneeing Frieza in the gut while transforming back at the same time. Frieza crashed harshly in the ground, sliding across it. Goku then immediately deformed, when he looked around he noticed the planet was...definitely falling apart.
Lava was erupting all over the places, the sky was dark, the winds were rampaging and so was the thunder.
"There's no reason for me or you to fight anymore. You've lost." Goku pointed out. "Your pride has already been shot anyway. You thought you were the strongest in the Universe and now you've been brought down."
Goku turned around, again. "Especially by a Saiyan." He continued. "Go crawl off someplace and hide, I don't really care. I'm heading back to Earth, if I go now, I'll make it before they leave." Once again Goku took off, slowly heading off to catch a breath.
Frieza clenched his fists in rage, his pride had been wounded and the tyrant was furious. "I will not...be beaten! Not yet!" He seethed. Frieza lifted both of his hands and created two energy purple disks. "This is the last straw, dirty simian bastard!"
Frieza threw the two disks at Goku, who whipped his head, transforming back, evading the disks quickly. However, the disks followed Goku, even through several cliffs and hills he pushed them through, even through the massive waves of the ocean.
Goku could go full speed but they would wear him down eventually. All he had to do was just time it right, so he could blast one down. Goku had saw an spout of lava erupting every six seconds, so he counted down flying not far from it.
"One…two….three….four…five…" Goku said. The hole began to light and burst. "NOW!" Goku flew right past the hole, and a half of a second after it burst out. Although the disks passed through they were slowed, giving Goku time to blast them away.
Goku fired a powerful energy blast at the two disks, it destroyed one disk but the other had survived. Goku rushed out of the way, passing by Frieza as he did.
"I'm not falling for that!" Frieza yelled. The tyrant leaped away from the disk allowing it to pass by him, and Goku managed to escape the other disk as Frieza's concentration was lost. Goku lowered himself back down near Frieza who attempted to aim another blast at Goku, however…
"FRIEZA LOOK OUT!" Goku shouted. It was too late, the previous purple energy blast had returned itself to it's creator as it was supposed to do, since it was out of control however, it had sliced right through Frieza's waist and gut, managing to get a good chunk of Frieza's right arm as well.
The once mighty Emperor was now split in two. Frieza's two halves fell to the ground as well as part of his right arm. His energy was below ten thousand, Frieza had truly been beaten, physically and mentally.
Goku gazed with disappointment silently for a moment. The Planet's catastrophic noises continued to echo.
"We're almost there! You told them to start taking off right?" Raditz asked.
"Y-Yes! But are you sure we're gonna make it?" Moori answered.
"Yes, we will." Raditz replied. He released all of his speed at once to create a burst of extra speed, going so fast even he could barely see what he was doing, but it was enough that he saw the Ship of Zarbon beginning to take off, with its hatch wide open. Krillin and Nappa both standing at that door waiting.
"There he is!" Krillin shouted.
"About Damn Time!" Nappa added.
Raditz nearly crashed into the ship, sliding against the ground trying not to stumble. Raditz huffed, letting a huge amount of breath escape him, and Moori hopped off his back. The hatch to the ship had quickly closed, and then the four felt the ship go into hyperspace, Moori nearly flew up against the ship if not for Raditz.
After about a minute, it stopped, the ship was now cruising, as the robotic female announcer said across the intercom.
"Okay we're good to walk around now." Raditz said, stating the obvious. "So...now what?"
"I don't know about you guys, but I must attend to my people, so if you don't mind?" Moori said.
"Right, I'll show you Eld-...uhm Grand Elder Moori?" Krillin replied. Moori nodded. "Okay, follow me."
After the two were gone, Raditz turned to Nappa for a second, who gave a quick angry glance, Raditz rolled his eyes in response then walked off.
"You probably had this coming, but I didn't expect you to actually stoop this low." Goku scoffed. "I'm heading back to Earth, you can sit here and think about what you've done while you share the same fate as the planet you destroyed."
Goku started walking away, still beyond pissed. Frieza coughed several times, trying to utter something but Goku ignored it.
"P-Please...help me.." Frieza begged. Goku continued walking, trying to ignore. "I'm begging you...d-don't l-leave me like this."
Goku then stopped, and grunted angrily.
"H-Have mercy!" Frieza pleaded. "Y-You can't...do...th-this!"
Goku let out a ferocious growl as he whipped his head around. "How many lives have pleaded with you! How many lives did you take?! And you didn't once show them mercy!" He snarled. "Hundreds? Thousands? Millions? Billions?! What gives you the right to ask for mercy when you've never shown any!"
"Especially from me!"
"P-Please!" Frieza said. "I..I b-beg you!"
"Why should I?" Goku asked. "Why should I show you any mercy?! You killed one of my best friends, then slaughtered my son in cold blood! An innocent five year old who was ONLY trying to help his friends against scum like you!"
"P-Pleeeaaasse!" Frieza uttered.
Goku growled ferociously, trying to ignore Frieza's pleas, but he couldn't. Eighters' words forever echoed in his mind when he ever fought a foe.
"Damn It!" Goku shouted. He pulled his hand back and then swung it, unleashing a sphere of energy to Frieza, then turned around once more. "There I gave you just enough energy to escape this planet. You're on your own."
Frieza opened his eyes, and floated up, cracking a wide smirk. Goku on the other hand continued walking once again.
"Even in unfathomable rage." Frieza said. "You'd still be willing to spare someone. How admirable."
"You said you can breathe in space without the use of oxygen." Goku replied. "If that's true, then I'd suggest you get out here while you still can. Maybe one day, you'll realize just how precious life is."
Simultaneously, Zarbon's Ship took off, and exited orbit, Goku was glad that they made it safely, but a little frustrated he didn't make it in time.
Frieza's short lived anger had turned into a smirk. "I wonder where you'll be." He said. "The vacuum of space will hardly be kind to a creature like you."
Goku stayed silent.
"At last the curtain finally closes." Frieza laughed. "It seems you would suffer the same fate as the planet I destroyed, ironic isn't it?"
"I'll be fine, I have my ways." Goku replied. "Besides, I could always be brought back to life, you on the other hand wouldn't." Goku then took off, flying away, flaring his white aura that surrounded him.
Frieza took this as an insult, angering him, the tyrant seethed with rage. "I am Lord Frieza! None surpass me! No one even comes close!" Frieza shouted. "Etch this into your skull! I am the Emperor of the Universe! The likes of you are only fit to grovel at my feet! Or better still….to die! AT THE HANDS OF YOUR MASTER!"
Frieza took his left hand, his only remaining hand and pulled it back as he gathered energy, forming an purple sphere, then unleashed it at Goku, causing it to form into a torrent of energy. Goku could sense the energy beam being blasted his way, he whipped around and transformed.
"You fool!" Goku yelled. He unleashed a powerful yellow energy wave at the beam, it pushed into Frieza's purple beam and consumed it. A second later it consumed Frieza as well, and before Goku could check to assure Frieza's demise, the Planet had trembled massively.
Goku didn't sense any energy from Frieza, so for now he had to assume that Frieza was infact defeated.

A/N: Yes I did use some original dialogue from both Kai & Burst Limit, I loved it so much I figured, "Why change it?" I may have modified it slightly obviously but that's about it. This also turned out to be much longer than expected but I think it's fitting.
See you guys in December….or probably way later, we'll see, I am supposed to write the Aftermath, which is an intermission special, so it doesn't necessarily start on Pre-Android stuff, it starts before but after Namek. Plus the three filler chapters, which I'm definitely gonna make enjoyable.
