He’s Gone

Walking through the memory

Of our broken yesterdays

I find that you’re killing me

Slaying my heart in so many ways

It was just a silly crush

But it left me all alone

A blinding, emotional rush

The loneliness no one can condone

How can he stay silent

And not say a thing?

After all the nights I spent

Alone in endless crying

Shattered without compassion

A soul blinded in the dark

Heartache was never the mission

But it’s already left it’s mark

Marring my once happy mind

And leaving me to cry

All because he left me behind

And never said good-bye!

Silence

Shadows fill this empty room

A candle flickers in the dark

Just his name bring great gloom

His lies have left their mark

Left with a hallow good-bye

And nothing left to hold

I sit alone here and cry

It’s really getting old

Still he’ll say he never knew

That I ever loved him that much

He was only thinking of you

And hurting me and such

I never wanted him to feel

That this was for him to blame

But I found it’s all too real

Love really isn’t a game

But it’s too late to go back

And saying that I was wrong

And still, it’s heart I lack

That’s why I write this song

Show him that he’s everything

And how he left me all alone

It’s seems that I meant nothing

I really should have known…
