Hey friends, nice to see you here visiting. Not that you probably actually care about my biography, but thanks for the thought XD. I'm CitiesofOwls, which is a play on Owl City, my favorite musician. Y'all should check him out: his new Adam Young Scores project is amazing. I am a student (like half the losers on this site) so updates and responses aren't generally going to be very punctual, prompt, perfect, or any other P word (well, they might be poor or painful, but I'm trying to be positive here). I like Doctor Who, the Marvel movies, Harry Potter, and Jane Austen, plus I'm a total sucker for cute kids movies with happy endings. I read lots of fanfiction from those categories, and I'll pretty much always be game to write for them as well. I love it when people send me requests and challenges, because even when I don't publish what I've written, it's great fun to talk with the challenger about the topic and it's great writing practice to actually do it. So please, send me your wacky fanfic ideas- I promise I won't judge, and it could turn out to be a really cool project!

While my bio lists the things that are important for the purposes of fanfiction, I feel I should mention the most important aspect of my life. I am a Christian, and am unashamed to call myself a follower of Jesus. This is not a political stance or an excuse to practice intolerance, but a quiet declaration that the love Jesus shows to me and the world is more important than anything else.

2018 update: everything above is still 100% true, but since now I'm an adult (trademark) I have less time to devote to this site, though I still love reading and sometimes writing fanfiction. Happy to write requests (within reason), delighted to read works sent to me (again, within reason), and overjoyed to receive reviews and encouraging messages. Thanks!
