I haven't been active on this site since 2008. Maybe that'll change, maybe it won't. I do know I'm looking for a place to practice my writing, so maybe will be helpful.

I'm 28 years old, married to a gorgeous woman, and have 2 kids. I'm no longer in high school (I survived), I graduated college (#debtcitymayor), and now I'm a software engineer.

I still write on occasion, however, 90% of the time, it's documentation for a new application, or a process for my team at work. The remaining 10% has been songs.

True to my username, I'm still a guitarist, and I've done a lot with it. From being called out of state to play with my band, to some studio work, paid gigs, and a strong attempt to get signed ("attempt" == we broke up), I've hit most of the major points guitarists hit. Today, I'm the instrument director of a church band, which has led to some very interesting opportunities (original music, paid gigs, other bands asking us for advice, etc.).

I still love Harry Potter and "Ed, Edd, n' Eddy", and now I'm 100% enthralled with the Marvel universe, and I enjoy Lord Of The Rings, The Hunger Games, Martha Wells (ie. "Cloud Roads"), and a wider variety of movies than 18 year-old me did (it's not much wider...).

I've got a couple vague ideas for an FF for Metro 2033 (the game/book), and The Hunger Games.

I've also got plans for a large-scale Harry Potter fic (post-Voldy) that I have been poking at for years.

I'm a strong Christian (relax, I'm Methodist) and enjoy biking, playing soccer, reading, playing guitar (a lot), hanging out with my friends, watching movies (and girls), and on, and on, and on.

I haven't done much in the way of writing as of late, just getting out of school for the summer and trying to find a job and simply being preoccupied with other things. I can, on the other hand, safely say that my writing skills have improved dramatically over the past couple of years thanks to advanced English classes and my mom (a professional writer).

Just as a side note, my favorite of all my writing projects so far is Harry Potter and the Rebellion Force.
