Chapter 8: He's Back

Sorry it's been a bit longer then usual since I updated this story,
Some of you may not like this but in this fic Natsu is stronger then Acnologia
Fairy Tail guild
Everyone is shocked, because the person that they all thought was dead is now standing right in front of them. They were so shocked they couldn't even speak. Erza on the other hand felt a familiar warmth coming from this person so she looks up, and when she does her eyes go wide and she starts crying like a fountain.
"N-Natsu?" She spoke out while sobbing
"I'm Bac-" But before he could finish the sentence he was met with a metal fist directly to the face making his stumble back and fall over. he looks up and notices Erza is still crying "Is everythi. owowow" Once again he was interrupted by her. This time she was now kicking him in the leg repeatedly
"You think you can *Sniffle* make us think you have been *Sniffle* dead for the past 3 months, and then stroll in *Sniffle *all nonchalantly like nothing happened" she said while falling to her knees. Natsu sits back and goes over to her and brings her onto hug, she immediately starts to cry into the crook of his neck.
"It's ok Erza. I'm back and I'm staying for good" He says and she leans back and looks him in the eyes before bringing her hand up and repeatedly slapping him in the face. When she feels like she has hit him enough she buries her face into his chest "I suppose I deserved that" Natsu said while soothingly running his hand over her back. Natsu goes to bring Erza further into the hug but realises that he stomach is quite bigger then it was. He leans back a bit and rubs his hand along his stomach, he smiles before speaking. "Someone, been customer of the month at the local bakery" he said with a smile.
"3 months actually" she said back before bringing her head towards his face and connects their lips into a passionate and loving kiss, when they part the guild erupts into cheers, but stops when Makarovs office door slams open
"WHAT'S WITH ALL THE NOISE?" Makarov yells out as he jumps off the second floor and lands on the bar counter. He scans the guild hall and his eyes go wide when he sees what is at the entrance. Erza sensed that something was going to happen so she got up and moved to the side. Natsu was about to ask what she was doing but couldn't speak because a massive titan fist smashed into his body and he was launched out the guild and into the east forest. About 10 minutes later Natsu is back at the guild
"Does anyone else want to punch me?" He asked them but before anyone could answer a voice out of nowhere spoke up.
"TOWN IS NOW GOING INTO GILDARTS SHIFT" The voice says. All the new members of guild where looking around not sure what is going on
"Gildarts is back"
"I wonder if he completed it?"
"He's been gone for about five years or so" Where the things that were getting thrown around the room by the older members of the guild. Wendy decides to go to Erza and ask what is happening
"Erza-san What's going on?" she asked while looking at the red-head.
"Take a look outside and see for yourself" she replied back. Wendy and all of the new members of the guild walk outside and their mouths dropped open except for Natsu at what they see. The town has been split in half and there is a walkway down the middle.
"What happened to the town?" Lucy asked
"This is called The Gildarts shift. We had to remodel the town for him. because he uses Crush magic, if he isn't concentrating he could destroy an entire building without even realising it" Erza states and they just look at her.
"He's coming" Natsu said and everyone turned their heads back to the town and saw a small black dot walking through, Natsu turned around and walked back into the guild and Erza followed behind him. Natsu sat down at a table and Erza sits next to him, but before she can get comfy Natsu picks her up and places her on his lap, she lets out a small yelp at the sudden movements but then melts into him, Natsu then places his forehead on he pack and takes in her scent "I've missed this" he said he he hug her tighter. About three minutes later the guild doors open and a tall man with orange hair and a black cloak stands at the entrance. he looks around and frowns
"You remodelled" He said as he walked up to the bar and took a seat "I'll take a whisky Mira" he said and she nodded her head as she went and made him a glass of whisky. Makarov then goes up to Gildarts to find out how his quest went
"Your back 95 years too early" Makarov said with a smile and Gildarts just laughed "Ye it was too much for me" He said while rubbing the back of his head. The entire guild was shocked that even Gildarts couldn't complete the quest. Makarov then looked at the man and his eyes went wide "What happened to you?" he asked, seeing that Gildarts had a prosthetic arm and leg and bandages along his chest and abdomen.
"Oh this I had a run in with an unwanted guest" While the conversation was happening Erza had switched position so she was now straddling Natsu and he had his head in the crook of her neck
"And who was that?" Makarov asked wanting to know what caused so much damage to the man
"A Dragon" he said and Gajeels and Wendy's heads perk up and Natsu just stays where he his. Gildarts looked around the room and noticed the two of them and spoke "I don't know if this is the dragon you guys are looking for but what I do know is that this one was an enemy to all humans. from what I could tell it's colour was as black as death" hearing this Natsu unintentionally bits down on Erza skin.
"Ow" she said out loud making all eyes turn to her which made her blush a bit.
"Sorry" He said to her
"And who do we have here?" Gildarts aked while looking at the back on Natsu, he was about the continue but then he heard snoring coming from him and he just looks dumbfounded
"Sorry he falls asleep easily, '' Erza said to Gildarts. Erza then shakes Natsu head trying to get him to get up
"What?" he asked while rubbing his eyes
"Someone's trying to talk to you," Erza told him. Natsu picks Erza up and spins her around and he turns around himself so now they are both facing everyone. When Natsu shows his head Gildarts eyes grow wider
"I thought I recognised that pin-" said but was interrupted
"It's salmon" Natsu correct and erza lightly hit him in the back of the head for being rude
"Don't interrupt when people are talking" Erza says
"It's quite alright Erza he did the same thing the last time we met and I went to call it pink" Gilarts said with a smile "You really ruffed me up that time" Gildarts said while rubbing the back of his neck
"Sorry about that" Natsu finally said
"Don't worry about it, I was the one that attacked you first" Gildarts said and Natsu just smiles
"Oi Flame Brain" Gray calls out
"Hmm?"
"The dragon that attacked Gildarts, how would you go in a fight against it?" When Gray asked this all eyes where now on Natsu
"*Sigh* If I wanted to I could" Natsu simply states
"Just how strong are you?" A random guild member asked
"Strong enough to do the things I want to do" He said as he started to rub Erza's stomach making her smile. Gildarts notices this and smiles
"So you are having a kid? You sure have grown up, How far along are you " Gildarts asks and they both just smile
"I only find out today, apparently I've been gone for three months so I don't know much" Natsu said with a sadden expression which doesn't go unnoticed by Erza
"That's not your fault" She said as she placed her hand over his. She then looks at Gildarts and continues "I'm roughly 3 months along, and as for the gender I haven't found that out" She said with an either brighter smile then she had before
"I see, yell congratulations you two" Gildarts said with a smile and both Natsu and Erza thank him
"So old man how long are you here for?" Gray asked
"Well the S-Class trials are coming up, so longer than usual" Gildarts said.
"I COMPLETELY FORGOT" Gray yells out as he runs towards the request board and grabs a job before running out of the guild. and before anybody knew it more then half the guild was gone.
"What just happened?" Lucy asked
"The S-Class Trials are coming up so everyone body went on jobs to prove themselves so they can be chosen for the exams" Erza answered
"So can anyone compete in it?" She asked and Erza nodded her head "Are you going to compete, Natsu?"
"Hmm, probably not" He replies
"Why not?" Erza asked
"Not bothered to, and I'm sure there is an easier way of becoming an S-Class mage" He says
"And what would that be?" Gildarts asked
"Beating an S-Class wizard. Although I've already done that so I could be wrong"
"No you are right" A voice says from then second floor and they all look up to see Makarov sitting on the railing
"Does that mean-" Erza started
"Yes Natsu can be a S-Class Wizard" Makarov said
Sorry for the Short chapter. Just felt like I needed to get something out, and i hope it doesn't take me this long to upload the next chapter
