Now they were on floor six. As far as first impressions go, the sixth floor was too warm for the group's liking. It wasn't hot, but there wasn't the slightest bit of air conditioning. The once wood floor was now a thick blue mat. "Woah, I can get used to this!" Chie took off her constricting shoes, walking on the soft surface as the arches in her feet cried out in delight "I hate wearing these things. Why do clothes gotta be so tight nowadays?" Yukiko shrugged her shoulders "Maybe because of all the hot youngin's demanding it." Chie pouted as Rise started chuckling "Why, I'm grateful for the compliment." She teased, winking at the old woman as everyone rolled their eyes "Girl please." Kanji quipped "You haven't been hot stuff since you started putting in those implants."
Rise spun her head around, tempted to knock his lights out, but refrained from doing so. "Shut up your ass." She muttered, looking around the floor. They started laughing, walking along to try and find...something. They wanted to find anything on this floor. Their memory betrayed them, constantly making them feel agitated and uppity. "Why is the floor like this anyway?" Yosuke asked "I mean, this feels nice and all, but I don't get why it's here…" That was the same question that kept popping into their minds (mostly because they forgot that they'd already asked themselves that question.) The floor seemed soft, but firm. It didn't sink when they took too heavy steps, nor were there any splinters, rumble or anything of that sort. It was soft, comfortable and it looked like something you'd see in a material arts school.
"Who do you think made this place?" Teddie wondered out loud "I mean, it was probably some moron who couldn't afford proper floors." A soft laugh from everyone, with a hearty one coming from Yukiko. "There isn't anyone else around, what kind of service is this!" He held his arms into the air, dropping them with an audible thud against his legs. "Maybe it's closed." Yu said "I mean, we did come in unannounced. Plus, we're here for...for…" He scratched his head and sniffed "I-I am sorry I lost my train of thought. I don't really remember why we're here." He looked up, the lights flickering "Where did we enter...could we go back?" They looked around, seeing no sign of the stairway they walked out of.
They'd been turned around, with no way of going back. They had to move on. That's when they heard it. The sound of pop music and weights being placed together. Dumbbells set on the ground, the sound of the treadmill turning off and on. They made their way to what sounded like gym equipment being used, but when they finally arrived there, no one was to be seen but themselves. "I could've sworn I heard something." Yu said to himself. "I didn't hear anything." Kanji stated, rubbing the inside of his ear with his knitting needles "Besides, what are we supposed to do with this kind of stuff, huh? I mean, we could mess around with it, but I doubt it would let us...us...oh shoot, what was I thinking of!" The old man huffed as he went back to mindlessly knitting.
The existence of all this equipment, while strange, didn't seem to be harmful to them in any shape or form. It was completely harmless, both in nature and in presentation. "Where are the people who...I heard it being...wait, did I hear that?" He couldn't trust himself to hear something that was there. Or was it there? He didn't know, nor did he care. What he was focused on was whether or not the gym...stuff, was in any way useful towards them finding a way out of this hot, steamy hell. They looked around, seeing a long tube sticking out of the ground, with the poster of a cat dangling from a tree, which read "Hang in there." Yukiko took one look and started to laugh loudly, pointing at the parchment in gleeful delight "Oh, now that's a good joke."
Yu rolled his eyes, placing his hands on his replaced hips "You know what, how about we take a minute to stretch. We've been walking for...well...anyways, we've been walking for a while, so i say we stretch!" Everyone else nodded, letting go of their crutches to slowly kneel, then sit on their fat butt "Oh geez, that really hurts." Teddie complained "My knees aren't what they used to be." Yukiko chided in, grunting as she sat on the floor, surrounded by five pound weights and elastic straps. "Do we need these?" She picked up one of the rubber resistance bands and pulled on it experimentally "Should I wrap my foot around it?" Naoto looked up "If you did, you might hurt yourself. Just lean forward like normal." She then showed everyone how inflexible she was, her back crying out in pain as her fingers hovered over her knee.
"Kids these days can do this all the time. But do they? Noooo, instead they mess around and get high on drugs that rot their teeth and burn their insides. Then they become brittle!" Chie shifted her weight, reaching past her hefty thigh, only to grab leg fat. "I mean, I'm no spry chicken, but I could whoop their asses, even at my age." She paused, trying to remember just how old she actually was. "Whatever. I could body them, that's my point." She inhaled deeply before leaning forward, struggling to reach any farther than before. "You said it. None of these wanna be adults know anything about the world around them. They just expect shit to be done for them and that they'll reap the rewards. It's insanity I tell you." Rise stated.
It was a shared agreement among the group that the young were to stupid to take care of the world that had been left for them. They wouldn't comprehend taxes, or driving, or anything remotely normal for their generation. It was sickening to think that they would die and be forced to watch their children and their childrens children fuck up everything they had worked so hard towards creating. In the midst of their complaining, the group started to get a bit competitive in their small-scale exercising. First little escapade was to see who could reach their toes. After nobody could, the next challenge was to see who could reach the farthest, with Teddie coming in first place, no problem. "Man, that's not fair! He's the youngest!" Chie yelled, not realizing all of them were now the same age: old as dirt.
Up next was the bike, which Chie opted out of due to her obesity. She watched as Naoto absolutely dominated the other members, her calm persona hiding an exhausted woman who just wanted to sleep. Or die, either was preferable. They then messed around with the stretchy bands, placing them around their ankles as they did squats; sweating out the wazoo and breathing louder than an elephant heard. "You know what? I'm sick of this!" Rise started undoing her uniform "It's so hot in here, I can't stand it!" The 100 woman started to take off her clothing, continuing her exercise once she became fully naked. The others gave her a weird look as they went on with their friendly competition. But one by one, everyone got overheated, and felt the only way to resolve this was to take off every article of clothing they had on.
Though, Rise had a secondary reason for getting naked: impressing Yu. While she hadn't been given many opportunities to be with him, she nonetheless wanted to get him interested in her and since flirting wasn't working out...well, she did the next best thing. It didn't really work, but she got the opportunity to stare at his wrinkly, shriveled up, sweaty old man dick. Her old saggy tits bounced up and down as she changed from squats to jumping jacks. Then everyone does jumping jacks. Except for Chie, she just stands, moving her arms. But, in a wave of amnesia, they become confused. "Why are there clothes on the ground?" Yu tilted his head curiously, kneeling down to take a look at the clothes. "They wouldn't fit us." he took a sniff and reeled his head back "And whoever wore this clearly hadn't been showering." The group agreed and looked around.
"How long have we been exercising?" Teddie asked, with the tube placed in the middle of the room slowly opening up, revealing a spiraling stairway, similar to the one on earlier floors though they wouldn't remember that. They headed up, taking slow step after slow step as Rise shivered "Man, it's really cold up there." She whined, looking up at the next floor as they grew closer to their journey coming to an end.
