The 10th and final floor. They had done it, they were finally here! Unlike the other floors, there was no ceiling, instead, there was a vast opening above them, with a swirling portal hovering in the sky, calling out to everyone there. The group looked up and felt the need to go to the giant circle in the sky, their poor memory doing absolutely nothing to hide this instinctive need to go to the enormous sphere-like opening. But right as they tried getting closer, a flash bang erupted below them, making them stumble backwards as the architect of their misgivings took form before them, the smoke turning into his body.

His body was as frail as everybody else's, his hair line was receding and his overall figure was lanky and not muscular in the slightest. His eyes were partially glazed and his lips were chapped beyond belief. He looked older than any man should be, but what made him even stranger were the amount of clocks he had on him. There were watches, timers, digital clocks around his waist, auditory clocks sticking out of his back and a multitude of analogue clocks hovering around him. His head twitched, with his face contorting into an expression of rage as he faced the old timers "You...killed my wife!"

The group blinked slowly as they looked at each other, shrugging and leaning in "Uh, no we didn't." Kanji stated, crossing his hairy arms as the floating old man exploded into anger, sending his army of shadows to grab the posse and hold them down. The fiery beasts overpowered the senior citizens, dropping them to their knees as they whined and cried out in pain, unable to comprehend why this floating man was so angry at them. "Sir, sir! We're sorry your wife died, but we didn't do that!" The old man snarled, dropping to the ground and walking up to Chie, grabbing her face angrily.

"You lie! You did kill her and you're going to pay for it!" Chie wobbled back and forth, her knees popping as she fell forward, smacking her head against his crotch, crushing his nuts as she smashed his pelvis with her forehead, causing him untold amounts of pain as his body shook violently, then disappeared into a cloud of smoke and ash, with the shadows that held them down soon following their leader, fading into nothing above the foggy sky as the group looked up in shock and awe, unable to comprehend what had just happened to them, or how they'd get up after being foreculy placed on the ground.

"You know what," Yu groaned, lying on his back as he placed his hands on his nude body "How about we rest for a moment; my knees are killing me." Everyone else grumbled in agreement, laying down on the pavement as they all fell asleep, one by one. They slept on their backs, sides, stomach, whichever part of their torso they were comfortable with; or didn't have a metal implant that would give them an intense amount of discomfort. They snored loudly and shifted where they slept, their naked, sweaty bodies sticking onto the ground as the portal grew closer, creating a vacuum seal around their unconscious bodies.

The portal they had admired wasa brilliant violet color, with black outlines and an intimidating aura. It was the complete opposite of the white and gold marble that made up the floor and walls around them. The gateway dropped down and sucked everybody up in one fell swoop, deaging them and giving their clothing back as they were sent back to the video store that they had entered so long ago. In a brilliant bolt of lightning, they returned in the rain, laying on the cobblestone ground as the portal that had brought them there vanished without a trace to be seen.

Everyone soon woke up, now covered in rain water and inflicted with the memories of their trip, every fall, insult, misunderstanding, everything. They remembered their edventure like it was the back of their hand. How they aged into their one hundred, how they believed themselves to be married and flirted like old married couples. Each recollection was more embarrassing than the last, with the purpose of their trip never being accomplished. Yu looked at his friends, standing up slowly as he arched his back and cracked it with a satisfying pop. "I...um. Well guys, I...I…" It was rare for him to be at a loss for words.

Yosuke then got up and stretched his arms, looking around as he laughed quietly "I guess we didn't get much stronger…" That was the unified agreement- they had gone through all of that for nothing. "Well, despite how obese I became, I think if we properly prepared, we could go back and...try again…?" Yu sighed as he placed his hands by his hips, looking at the sky as he turned back to everyone else "Possibly, but we need to get home. I just want to forget all this and return to normal. Just for a little while, before trying again…" Chie nodded and got up, returning home as she entered her home, going up to bed and drifting off to sleep; more than willing to forget the whole adventure.
