The Solaris Dynasty Overview
BGM-Captain America: Civil War OST-Cap's Promise
Time War Backstory
Thousands of years ago, Apocalypse waged war on the highly advanced Chronoa Kingdom during his conquest of the Earth, seeing them as a threat with their cosmic time powers. Their great war invoked the rage of Chronoa's god Solaris, the God Flame that created time, and his flames defeated Apocalypse and nearly ended the world until he was sealed away by the Chronoans, ending the war. To prevent Solaris's return, the surviving Chronoans, including Cia, sealed themselves away in a realm beyond time, guarding the God Flame and protecting history as the Guardians of Time. Later, Kang the Conqueror planned to steal Solaris to rule over the universe. However, his plan failed thanks to Cia and was forced to retreat, but at the cost of the other Time Guardians' lives and Solaris, who fell into the timestream during the climactic battle and was lost ever since.
Time passes, and following the end of World War II, a scientist named Howard Stark discovered Solaris while searching for the missing Captain America. His studies of the God Flame sparked the creation of Project PEGASUS, a secret government project tasked with studying and harnessing Solaris's energy. The Project went on for decades until it ended in a disaster that split Solaris into two beings, Mephiles the Dark and Iblis. SHIELD Agents Nick Fury, and Richard and Mary Parker, were able to seal these two entities inside the Scepter of Darkness and the Sol Vessel respectively, preventing a worldwide catastrophe. Cia learned of this event and confronted Fury for custody over the Scepter of Darkness to further prevent Solaris from becoming whole and destroying the world.
In another ploy to obtain Solaris's power, Kang recruited supervillains from across time and space to form the Chronos Corps to help him complete a newer version of Project PEGASUS, this time called the Solaris Project. A sub-team of the Chronos Corps called The Syndicate, led by Red Skull, hatched various schemes across time to obtain the keys necessary in recompleting Solaris, which included going after Mephiles and Iblis. In desperation, Cia formed an alliance with the Avengers and Secret Avengers, as well as created her own team called the Chrono Avengers, to combat the Chronos Corps and stop the Solaris Project. The heroes were successful securing Iblis, but the villains managed to free Mephiles from his imprisonment and convince him to join their team as they share the same goal of resurrecting Solaris. During this time, Secretary Dell Rusk of the World Security Council enacted the Superhuman Registration Act that forced all superheroes to work with the government or face prosecution, crippling their ability to defend the world from this ongoing Time War.
Having learned of the Solaris Project that'll revive the Sun God, Apocalypse went out on a quest to reassemble the Chronoan's Forever Crystal that would grant him the ultimate power to conquer the world by turning all humans into mutants. He, the Chrono Avengers, and the Syndicate fought over the Crystal, with the Avengers claiming it in the end and leaving Apocalypse defeated and the Syndicate crippled. Right after this venture, the Omega Level clone Stryfe, a mutant member of the Chronos Corps, was tasked by Kang to hunt down those in possession of the Time Factor, the lifeforce of Solaris, as well as steal the Master Emerald. He was successful stealing the Master Emerald, as well as the Factor from the heroes and villains of both the Classic Age and 2099, allowing Kang to invade the latter and conquer it as an experiment for the Solaris Project.
All the pieces are coming together, and the remaining data required to complete the Solaris Project lie in Mobiant Earth of the past, of the main timeline. Kang gathers his forces, ready to conquer an unsuspecting Mobiant Earth and reform Solaris in order to conquer the timestream for eternity. Through the Avengers, and their many allies across time, the revolution against fate and Kang begins!

By a miracle of science, Steve was transformed into Captain America, Sentinel of Liberty. Possessing super strength, speed, reflexes, and his unbreakable shield, Cap is a leader of humans, heroes, and gods. His disappearance at the end of WWII served as the catalyst for Project Pegasus, a secret government project in hopes of studying the "God Flame", Solaris, and harness its power over time and space. Decades later, a new Solaris Project is on the verge of completion, and only Captain America can lead Earth's Mightiest to stop it.

Silver the Hedgehog
Avengers Teams: Freedom Avengers (inactive), Chrono Avengers, Secret Avengers
Description: A hedgehog from a devastated future. He is always positive and has a strong sense of justice. His powerful psychokinesis can move big objects as well as allow him to levitate. Silver once fought alongside Sonic and Shadow to defeat Solaris in a different timeline, but it wasn't enough to truly end his terror. But his training with Cable and the Chrono Avengers has caused him to grow stronger and discover his true power. This time he hopes it'll be enough to not only vanquish Solaris, but stop Kang from meddling with the timestream any further.

Salem (Young)

She is fully aware of her dark future and has worked tirelessly to atone for her future self's sins in hopes she won't walk down that same grim path.
Nathan Christopher Summers (Cable)
Avengers Teams: Secret Avengers, Chrono Avengers
Description: Life hasn't been too good for Nathan Summers, the son of Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor, having been infected with a "techno-organic" virus by the supermutant Apocalypse that weakened his powers and threatened to kill him unless he was sent into the future, which was ravaged by Apocalypse. Once grown and trained in combat, Nathan would travel back in time to kill Apocalypse and save the future. Although his mutant powers are suppressed, he comes bearing a veritable arsenal of futuristic weapons to get the job done. His unrivaled arsenal, experience in war, and previous unauthorized use of time travel is what makes him the perfect field leader for the Chrono Avengers!
Miles Morales (Ultimate Spider-Man)
Avengers Teams: Chrono Avengers

An Avengers team always works at their best when a friendly neighborhood webslinger swings into their ranks.
Team Boom Sonic (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Sticks)
Avengers Teams: Chrono Avengers
Description: Also known as the United Village Defenders of the Village! In an alternate dimension, Sonic leads a group of heroes to protect their tropical home of Seaside Island from all manners of dangers like Dr. Eggman and other harmless annoyances, while still living regular lives. Though their bickering leads to trouble in any timeline, the team always sticks together, both as friends and as a family.
Team Classic Sonic (Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles)
Avengers Teams: Freedom Avengers (Sonic only, inactive), Chrono Avengers
Description: The counterpart of Team Modern Sonic from another dimension set in the recent past. Sonic and his two best pals have had many exciting adventures, both in their own timeline as well as in the Heroic Age. Recently, they traveled to the 2099 timeline in search for the Master Emerald after it was stolen by the evil mutant clone, Stryfe, but failed to retrieve it after Kang's invasion on the timeline. Still, that isn't enough to put down Team Sonic. It just makes them more determined (and in Sonic's case, "more excited") than ever to get it back before the end of time!
Team 2099 (Spider-Man 2099, Summer Rose, Elsa Schnee)
Avengers Teams: Freedom Avengers (Spider-Man 2099 only, inactive), Chrono Avengers
Description: Some of 2099's greatest heroes from a dystopian world! This ragtag group is usually led by Spider-Man 2099 whenever a mysterious force threatens their future. First it was the Time Eater. Then Infinite. Mysterio. Walker Sloan. The list goes on. This time it's Kang's turn, and he has already left quite the impression by easily conquering 2099 during their recent battle with Stryfe. Knowing the Heroic Age is his next target, the future Webslinger and Huntresses join forces with the Chrono Avengers to save the past and protect their legacies!
Herald of the Mutant Race
En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse)
Description: Born thousands of years ago in Egypt, En Sabah Nur is one of the oldest and most powerful mutants to have ever lived. His genocidal crusade for mutant supremacy is guided by a simple law: survival of the fittest. This is the law that he once tried to enforce into the Chronoa Kingdom, issuing a great war against them and their god, Solaris, that lasted years. At the end of the war, Solaris defeated Apocalypse. Knowing the Flames are on the verge of rebirth in the modern era, Apocalypse readies his own forces for the rematch of the century.
Assault of the Chronos Corps
Nathaniel Richards (Kang the Conqueror)
Description: The Chrono King. Pharaoh of the Ages. Lord of the Timestream. Genius commander of all technology in the universe. Ruler of millions in both the past and future, Kang the Conqueror may be the greatest adversary the Avengers have ever known. His mastery of time travel has allowed him to steal the technology of a dozen timelines and carve an era-spanning empire. He has been the mastermind behind the Time War and the Solaris Project, assembling the Syndicate and Chronos Corps in his newest attempt to conquer all of history. His ultimate prize: the godly powers of Solaris himself!
Mephiles the Dark
Description: Mephiles is an evil being, born from a fragment of Solaris, which was sealed inside the Scepter of Darkness by Nick Fury. He closely resembles Shadow after absorbing his shade, gaining all his power in the process. Do not be mistaken. He may be allied with Kang for the mutual purpose of reviving Solaris, but this malevolent entity will not hesitate to backstab friend and foe alike for his own goals. Literally.
Fated Enemies
Johann Schmidt (Red Skull)
Description: Hydra Leader. Syndicate Leader. The Red Skull has managed to orchestrate the assassinations of his enemies, manipulate his way to power, and lead both HYDRA and the Syndicate in a plan to devastate the world's most influential countries in time of Kang's invasion. Thanks to Dell Rusk's recent Superhuman Registration Act crippling the world's heroes, he is one step closer conquering the world and then time itself. Could there be a connection between Skull and Rusk?
Doctor Eggman Nega
Description: Descendant of Doctor Eggman. Chaotic scientist from the 23rd Century. With skills that are no way inferior to his ancestor, Eggman Nega seeks nothing more than the destruction of the world. Believing as well that Eggman's failures have ruined his reputation, Eggman Nega holds a deadly grudge against his ancestor and would do anything to erase him from history, even going as far as accept Kang's invitation to join his Chronos Corps and be his lead scientist in the Solaris Project.
The Flames that control Destiny
Solaris
Description: Astral birth. The God Flame that created time! Originally a living flame, Solaris was split into two halves during Project Pegasus; Mephiles the Dark, his conscious mind, and Iblis, his raw power. Both of Solaris' halves were subsequently sealed away. In one timeline, it sought to destroy time itself but was temporarily defeated by a trio of Super Hedgehogs. No one knows from whence he came, only that he has existed for aeons. His legend transcends time and space, and his forms impacted many cultures, each for a mysterious purpose. Just what are the secrets of the Flames of Disaster?

KFX Here: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the overview of the entire Time War Saga and the major characters that'll appear in this finale story: The Solaris Dynasty. Since this saga introduced a lot of new lore, I took this time to write a summary of the major plot points of each arc (Total Mayhem, Lost Legend, Shattered Crystal, and Future Fight) for those who haven't been keeping up. This may be my biggest project yet as this story is planned to have multiple Acts. The Opening Act/Act 1 will be published soon. Take care until then.
