In the nuclear test village that some of the Mutants had made their home a heavy built bald woman who everyone called Big Mama or Ma sat in an old torn dusty armchair brushing a mannequin head that had a long dark blonde wig on it as she watched a tv show that was on the small coloured tv that was like her way of finding on what happened in the outside world
The tv used go have a remote with it but Pluto another deformed large Mutant was having a huge melt down with his brother Lizard another mutant and the remote got smashed fired off the wall by pluto aiming at Lizard's head but he ducked and it missed and hit the wall instead followed by a lot of cussing
Those two were always fighting they could not get along for 5 minutes and this made big mama sad and angry as if life was not hard enough for her
Big Mama unlike the others was NOT a Mutant shed been taken as a small child of the age of 5 or 6 and the mutants raised her after killing her parents and grandma when they were on a road trip and she eventually became like them and because of the high levels of radiation still around she lost her long dark wavy hair and she had another name that was long forgotten like Elizabeth maybe after the Queen of England but she never used that name now she was just mama or ma and also she gained a lot of weight over the years and she did have children as she did sleep with the mutants so now she had given birth to Goggle who lived in the hills and was badly deformed , Pluto who was also born badly deformed and had the mental age of a toddler and he could be gentle as a lamb and very childlike and and would happly sit on the floor playing with toys and younger siblings one moment and the other he was very dangerous and violent and he had a very short temper and was prone to violent tantrums where he'd trash the house
A mutant they called Google was the oldest he was in his mid to late 30s and had a severally deformed face and no nose just little holes and a lot of other deformities and had long very thin greying blond hair he was the lookout and lived high in the hills and would keep in touch with a walkie talkie they all had but he sometimes came down to visit
Pluto was the second oldest in his mid 30s but he still loved big mama and she could calm him down after a tantrum where hed place his head on her lap and cry and shed stroke his deformed head and the little hair he had and though his speech was limited he could say 'I love you ma ' And she would gently kiss his head and say 'I love you too my big pluto
The next son who was younger that Pluto was Lizard he was younger by 2 years and in his 30s his face was also badly deformed and he had a severe cleft pallet and messy blond hair he was the most dangerous and showed no mercy hed kill without thinking and quite a few times tried to kill pluto because he looked at him wrongly and because of that he was banned from the village but he still sometimes came down
Big Mamas other son was called Cyst he was born covered in tumours but not life threatning and he had a steel cage around his head as he had been to the hospital once with Big mama and the normal man that worked at the gas station only because Cyst who was really called Anthony was in danger of dying yet the tumours appeared later but after time he was at the hospital he was about 3 or 4 but never went back and the cage remained on his head but he was still very fit and strong but kind of kept himself to himself he was also in his 30s about 18 months younger than Lizard
Big mamas other child a daughter was Ruby a quiet girl about 12 and had long brown hair to her waist and had a deformed face massive oversized eyes and other problems and she was the go between the family and outside world so to say as she often helped the man at the Gas station bringing him stuff and getting stuff for the family clothes toys for the kids and that and sometimes one of her brothers would help
Ruby never really got on with her brothers as unlike them she was a peaceful girl and very interested in the outside world and would rather make friends with outside people than kill them so sometimes unknown to her the others used her as bait but a lot of the time she refused to help anyone when her older siblings were around as a few times she could see through their sneaky plans
Big mommas other children were her youngest twins Venus and Mercury they were 5 and were born deformed too
Venus who big Mama thought was beautiful had same condition as Ruby her face was deformed and had massive oversized eyes and she also had a tumour that made her mouth droop but with her massive blue eyes and long blonde hair big mama called her a little angel
Venus was s good girl shed play quietly with her toys what was brought back go her and she loved to sit on the arm of Big mamas chair with her little head on her chest and watch tv with her and so Venus learned all about the outside world by watching tv but at times venus could be prone to tantrums and when she was younger she could bite too and got her butt spanked after bitting Big brain on the arm when he chased her away so Big mama spanked her on the back of the legs something she wished shed dome with Pluto when he was that age as she never hit him as a kid
Her other son Mercury was a very quiet sickly boy and no one really knew what was wrong with him as his skin was a strange shade of blue and he had huge eyes like his twin and dark hair and also he was very very thin and spent a lot of the time in bed sick and his health worried Big Mama but he was a lovable little boy and big mama protected him a little more
sadly Big Mama miscarried 3 babies their was a boy who was born 3 years before Ruby he was too severely deformed to live his head was massive like Big brain he had a club foot a hunchback and his organs were messed up that was another time Big mama had to go to the hospital and the Gas attended took her pretending that he was her husband no one knew what happened to the baby's remains
The other baby Big Mama lost was a little girl she was 19 months older than Ruby again she was born deformed and didn't even take her first breath she had bright red hair and very long eyelashes she looked lile a doll to Big mama and she called the baby Belle as that meant Beauty and the baby was beautiful to her
the other baby was miscarried around 5 or 6 months so no one knew what the baby was that baby would have been 8 but it was a miracle that anyone was born with the high radiation count
The other mutants in Big Mamas life was papa Jupiter he was the leader and her partner and father to the kids and his dad who had now passed on had found big mama as a child and brought her to the others who were there at the time
papa Jupiter was in his mid 50s and though he looked normal he had a badly deformed chest and leg but he was least effected by the radiation it seemed and looked more like a homeless man with dirty clothes and long dark greying hair and a beard but he was very violent and clashed with Lizard and pluto and because pluto refused to leave the house in the Atomic village Jupiter moved to the hills and it suited him find as his brother Hades and his clan were there too further up the hills yet sometimes Hansel another mutant who was very child like would come down to see the kids and he got on great with Ruby as he was gentle and kind like her despite being badly deformed and looking terrifying and also Hansel loved Big mama so he was always welcome to stop over
The other person who was in Big Mamas life was her brother in law a severely deformed man they called Big Brain or Brainy some called him as his real name got lost in time
Brainy was in his early 40s and was Jupiters baby brother and his head was massive and filled with fluid and his skull grew and grew too and he had huge growths in his neck so talking was hard and he spoke with a raspy voice but his head was the main problem it was so so big his body could not support it and he was wheelchair bound and also at a young age he suffered a stroke and that added to his problems and now big mama was his carer she helped wash him and if he was in the mood dress him but he could not wear tops that went over the head sometimes he wore a shirt and pants and also Hansel would come and help too but big Mama would joke with Brainy he had nothing to hide she was used to it all now
Another problem with Brainy was he was also short tempered and got frustrated easily and when the twins were toddlers he'd find them dumped on his lap and he hated that for 2 reasons he could not stand kids and sometimes thanks to Mercury he'd feel his lap getting warm and wet and would yell at Big mama to get little pissy pants off him his name for Mercury
there was also other mutants many of them hidden all over the hills and in the mines that Big Mama hadn't met yet but she heard about them some were not too badly deformed some were so bad they'd make Big Brain look handsome qnd they'd been hiding in the hills and old mines for decades
