Chapter 5
"I-Itsuki, it's you…", mumbled a stunned and happy Fuutarou while hugging the ahoge redhaired girl that was clinging on him.
"F-F-Fuutarou-kun, y-you're finally back.", said the young girl, her tears of joy falling down on the boy's t-shirt.
"Umm, Nakano-San, d-do you know Uesugi-kun by any chance?", suddenly asked the teacher, curious and shocked like the other students by Itsuki's sudden display of affection towards the boy.
"A-ah! S-sorry, I l-let my emotions take over and I-I acted without thinking. A-anyways, Fuutarou-kun is my dear childhood friend.", replied the blushing ahoge girl, reluctantly detaching herself from Fuutarou.
"Childhood friend? Ugh, not fair! Itsuki-San knew him way before us! She has an advantage!", said one of the girls in the class, pouting just like the others in jealousy.
"Silence, please. Well, since Nakano-San is your childhood friend, you can sit next to her, Uesugi-kun. How about it?"
The young Saint smiled and said, "For me it's perfectly fine. Thank you, Sensei."
At hearing that, Itsuki's heart beat faster and she smiled blissfully; not only the co-ed student was her beloved childhood friend, but he was also in her classroom and would sit next to her. She couldn't be happier than this!
So she went back to her desk, with Fuutarou sitting to the free one at her right. The teacher decided to explain some Science's arguments, but since the boy didn't have his textbooks yet, he asked Itsuki if they could share hers.
She didn't mind it at all and gladly brought their desks together, leaning her head on his shoulder and smiling, which made both of them blush while their classmates frowned.
"F-fuutarou-kun, I missed you a lot. C-can you tell me about your experience wih studying abroad during lunch?", she softly asked him.
"I-I missed you too, Itsuki. And yes, I will tell you about it. I-I also want to see your sisters again. They missed me too, right?"
"Yeah, they missed you a lot like me. T-these 5 years without you weren't very nice. W-we wanted to pass them with you. But now you're back, and I'm v-very happy for this.", she replied with a huge blush and still leaning on him.
"I-I'm glad t-to hear it.", he said, blushing too at how clingy and affectionate she was with him. She may not be kissing him like she and her sisters did 5 years ago, but her words and her affection were enough to make him blush.
They also made him wonder about the reaction of her sisters when they would see him; Would one of them be angry? Would one be very happy like Itsuki? He'd have answers only later.
After the first 2 lessons ended, the young warrior got immediately surrounded by all the girls in his classroom that asked him if he'd like to have lunch together while Itsuki was annoyed by this.
'Mouuu, they want to keep Fuutarou-kun's attention on them!', she thought, pouting to see her childhood friend blushing while some girls flirted with him.
"F-Fuu-kun?", suddenly said a new voice. Everyone looked at the classroom's door to see another girl identical to Itsuki, but wearing long white tights and a pair of butterfly ribbons as hair accessory.
Upon taking a good look at her, Fuutarou's eyes widened as if he recognized her immediately. "N-Nino?", he asked to the butterfly ribbons girl, whose ocean blue eyes start to water after seeing that he was who she hoped he was.
"Fuu-kun!", she shouted, running towards the sitting boy and enveloping him in a hug, bringing his face towards her impressive breasts.
"Ehhhh?!", was his and every girl's reaction at the sudden action of Nino.
"N-Nino, w-what are you doing?! Let Fuutarou-kun go!", exclaimed Itsuki with a frown.
"No! I couldn't see Fuu-kun for 5 years, so you cannot tell me to not hug him!", replied Nino, tightening her hold on Fuutarou.
And those words shocked he rest of the girls in the class; Did the golden eyes boy have 2 childhood friends? And if it were 2 of the Nakano quints, then he knew also the other 3?
"Umm, N-Nino?"
"Yes, Fuu-kun?", she replied with a sweet tone.
"I-I'm glad to see you again, but can you let me go? M-My face is on your chest.", he replied, blushing for saying such thing.
She pouted, "I didn't see you for 5 years, and then you come back and I find out that you're going to be the student for the co-ed project, without telling me and my sisters. You're mean, Fuu-kun."
"I just wanted to make you a surprise.", he said, returning her hug and managing to calm her down.
Then also Itsuki hugged him. "I-It's ok, Fuutarou-kun. You surprised me and m-made me very happy when I s-saw that it was you the male student."
"Let's go to have some lunch with the others, Fuu-kun! They cannot wait to see you!", proposed Nino, getting a nod from her sister and the young man.
So the 3 of them left the classroom to reach the cafeteria, with the 2 girls clinging on Fuutarou's arms, making him blush as he could feel their soft breasts pressing on his arms.
'They sure grew up in these 5 years. And surely the others too, since they're quintuplets.', he thought, comparing the times that they hugged him in the past with now. He also noticed how the girls that saw pouted ot frowned to see the 2 redhaired girls clinging on him, as if they wanted to do the same.
Thankfully, the teacher had already left when Nino hugged him in that too sweet way, so the young Saint wouldn't risk to be reprimanded; as the candidate for the co-ed project, he had to make sure that nothing went wrong.
But having to deal with several girls that looked at him with interest or lust would cause him quite the problems in the future.
'It's better that I watch out for my pants.', he thought, feeling that a potential perverted girl could try to seduce him in a locker room or in the toilet. Mu had taught him that ending up in certain situations was common for an handsome guy like him. So he had to be careful.
After some minutes, the young warrior and the 2 quints were arrived to the cafeteria, where they took their lunch trays (Itsuki's was full of food) and searched for the other quints.
But suddenly, Fuutarou felt the presence of someone behind, so he turned around to see a girl with short red hair and a green bunny ribbon that looked surprised.
He looked at her for some seconds before asking, "Y-Yotsuba, is that you?"
The young girl blushed and smiled, "Y-Yes, it's me, Fuutarou-kun. So it was true that you would attend our school! That's fantastic! Let me hug you!"
She immediately hugged his arm, leaning her head on his shoulder. Something that made Nino and Itsuki pout.
"Fuutarou-kun!/Fuutarou!", said 2 new voices. The young warrior looked at his left to see another quint with very short redhair and a right earring and another one with mid-long redhair and a pair of blue headphones around her neck.
Said girls hugged him just like Yotsuba did, causing every other girl in the cafeteria to widen her eyes or frown at the scene.
"I-It's really you, F-Fuutarou. Y-you're back.", said the blue headphones girl, with tears falling down from her eyes.
"Y-you finally came back, Fuutarou-kun. Onee-San is v-very happy for this.", said instead the short haired girl.
"M-Miku, I-Ichika. Y-you 2 too have changed quite a lot, huh? How about we have lunch all together to talk about what I and you have done in these years?"
Such proposal made each quint blush and nod happily, so the 6 of them sat together to a table and started to talk about what they did during the time Fuutarou was studying abroad.
He told them about how he had learned new languages and other interesting things, without spilling the beans about being a Saint, demons or Cosmo of course. He didn't want to make their lives in danger by getting them and their parents involved in the conflict; his duty as Saint was to protect them after all.
"Wow, you learned a lot of things, Fuutarou-kun. But you were lonely without your dear Onee-San, weren't you?", suddenly asked Ichika in a teasing way.
"W-well, I certainly missed each one of you while I was abroad. That's why I texted you often during the past 5 years.", he replied, blushing while Ichika was poking his cheek with a finger and giggling. Something that made the other 4 sisters and other girls in the cafeteria jealous.
"F-Fuutarou, will you and your family come t-to our house to have dinner? M-mom and Dad would be glad to see you again.", asked him Miku, tugging sheepishly on his arm.
"That's a great idea! I can show you the great cook I became, Fuu-kun!", exclaimed Nino, happily agreeing with the idea.
"Yayy, Fuutarou-kun and his family will have dinner with ours to celebrate his return!", said instead Yotsuba, getting up from her seat to envelope the boy in a tight hug, making him blush.
'I-is this a day of hugs or what? M-maybe I should expect a kiss too. Or more than just one.', he thought, blushing even more at the memory of them kissing him often when they were kids. Something that made him embarassed but that he didn't mind.
"No fair, I want to hug Fuutarou too!", said suddenly Miku, hugging the young man as well.
"Us too!", said the other 3 sisters, clinging on the boy that now found himself with all the quints hugging him. A sight that made every other girl in the cafeteria frown in jealousy and him sigh. His childhood friends were quite impulsive when it came to their feelings.
An hour later, lunch time ended, so after greeting the other 4 sisters, Fuutarou and Itsuki went back to their classroom for 2 good hours of English. Once they stepped inside, their classmates pouted because they wanted to have lunch with him too, but Itsuki and Nino had beaten them to it. But they would have their chance another time.
When the English lesson started, Fuutarou had asked another girl if she could share her textbook, to which she gladly agreed. This made Itsuki gasp and pout as she hoped that Fuutarou would ask her again to share a textbook.
'I know that Itsuki is feeling jealous right now, but if I want to make this co-ed project work, I have to get along with all the girls here.', he thought, perceiving the glare that the ahoge girl was launching to the girl of the textbook, who was instead smiling and blushing.
The young man then took notes about the lesson, showing also his skills by translating perfectly some sentences on the blackboard, getting praised by everyone in this way.
'Fuutarou-kun became even smarter during these past 5 years. H-he's also more h-handsome. I w-would like-Nooo! B-bad thoughts!', thought the youngest quint, blushing profusely and shaking her head to stop thinking about the naughty thing that involved her childhood friend.
He was already cute when she and her sisters met him as kids, but now that he was a gorgeous young man, she couldn't help but feel very attracted to him. After all, she and her sisters had feelings for him since childhood.
Something that the young Saint was fully aware of because their big affection and hugs towards him were a full display of such feelings. And that was the main reason that Itsuki didn't like that he was sharing a textbook with another girl. She would make sure to have his attention later when they went back to home.
"Alright, the lessons ended and you can go home, everyone. Make sure to translate the text that I gave you for next time. See you!", said the teacher while greeting the students who did the same.
And as soon as she left, a bunch o girls were all around Fuutarou, "Fuutarou-kun, what kind of music do you like?", asked one of them with a smile.
"Do you have a favorite animal?", asked him another one.
"D-do you have a girlfriend?", asked him another more shyly, making him blush and everyone look at him, eager to know the answer.
"W-Well, I like rock and classic music and my favorite animals are cats. A-and no, I'm single.", he replied embarassed, making each girl smile and giggle happily.
Not liking how they were trying to flirt with him, Itsuki clang on Fuutarou's arm and asked with a smile, "Fuutarou-kun, let's go home together?"
The young man looked at her for a second before replying, "Sure, let's go, Itsuki."
So the 2 teenagers took their bags and left the classroom, with each girl gasping at the idea that the two of them lived in the same neighborhood. And surely they'd freak out if they found that their houses were exactly in front of each other.
The young Saint and Itsuki then went back to home with her sisters, with Yotsuba and Miku holding Fuutarou's hands while the other 3 were holding on his shirt.
"You 5 love clinging on me, don't you?", he said with a blush on his face.
"Hehe, Onee-San loves being affectionate to you, Fuutarou-kun. Here's an example.", said Ichika before leaning towards his face and kiss his cheek, coloring it in red.
"I-Ichika?", he said embarassed while she smiled happily. But her sisters frowned at this, so despite they were blushing, they all planted some kisses on Fuutarou's cheeks, whose face was now totally red.
"I missed filling you of kisses, Fuu-kun.", said Nino, leaning her head on his shoulder. And so did also her sisters while the young man was blushing and smiling.
'I knew it that they'd have kissed me. These girls' feelings are not to underestimate haha.', he thought, mentally chuckling at how he kinda had foreseen that they would kiss when they had the occasion.
But right when he thought about this, the youn Saint perceived something that made him twitch; not too distant from them, eh could perceive a strange and sinister presence that didn't look human at all.
'This feeling…No doubt about it, it's a damn demon. Mu-sensei taught me how to recognize demons' presence, and this annoying sensation is exactly what I think it is. It's better getting rid of it right now.',
he thought, deciding to put in practice what he learned during his training.
"Umm, girls, I need to go somewhere before going home, so can you go back without me? Don't worry, I will see you tonight.", he suddenly told them, hoping that they didn't ask to accompany him.
"Ehhh? Moo, but I wanted to walk all the way back to home with you, Fuutarou-kun. But if you say so, then I look forward to have dinner with you and your family tonight.", complained a pouting Yotsuba before smiling.
"Do you want that we go with you, Fuutarou-kun?", asked him a worried Itsuki.
He placed a hand on her head and patted ot, making her blush, "Don't worry, I won't miss tonight. It's just a little commission ot take care of rapidly. Go home all of you and stay safe, alright?"
He said that with a wink and a grin that made each quint blush and nod, so they decided to continue to walk after telling him to not be late for dinner. Fuutarou smiled and said that he wouldn't be late, and after he made sure that they left, he quickly went inside a public toilet to not be seen and to remove his black shirt and put it away in his school bag.
"Alright, let's do this. Come, Apus!", he said loudly, touching the Clothstone around his neck that shined in a bright silver light that surrounded his body. Such light disappeared after some seconds, and Fuutarou's body was now covered with his silver Apus Cloth, with its signature 3 tails falling down from the back.
'Perfect, I can wear the Cloth more easily thanks to its Clothstone form. Now I just need to put on the mask that Mu-sensei gave me, so no one can recognize me.', he thought before taking out a grey mask with a human appearance that the Aries Saint had given him one day towards the last days of training.
And after wearing the mask, the warrior got out of the toilet and hid his school bag in the middle of some bushes and spread the wings of his armor to take the flight.
It was the first time that he was flying, especially by using the wings of the Apus Cloth. Nonetheless, he didn't have too many problems with that, so he flew towards the point where he could perceive the presence of a demon.
And he didn't take too much time to find it, since he felt it coming from the park that he was now above of. And then he saw it: a vile creature with horns and claws was about to hurt a young couple, who were holding on each other while crying in desperation an terror.
Such sight triggered Fuutarou's anger, so he burned his Cosmo and launched himself towards the demon at high speed.
"Leave them alone, you bastard!", he shouted, making the creature look at him before getting punched by a powerful fist that sent it against a tree, making it spit blood.
"Gaah! W-what the-?!", the demon was about to curse before seeing who hit it and hurt it.
Before it was standing a young man with a silver armor and a grey mask, with his body surrounded by a bright light blue aura. He had also a pair of wings that sprouted from his armor, another element that made the young couple, that was looking at him as their savior after he stopped the demon's attack, more amazed.
"J-just who do you think you are, human?! You think you can punch me like I'm nothing?!", exclaimed the monster, nursing his face in pain.
" Shut your mouth, you damned demon. I'm not a normal human as you think. I'm a warrior that protects humans, and my job is to get rid of you!!", replied the warrior, running fast towards the demon to hit it in the gut with another fist that took the air out of it.
Fuutarou then started to punch it repeatedly in the face and in the gut, making it bleed continuously. He also took its arm and made it spin so fast that it made a tree fall when he threw it against it.
Now covered in blood and heavily damaged, the monster got up with difficulty from the ground, and when it saw that the warrior was preparing another attack, fear invaded its mind.
"N-no, please! I-I w-won't h-hurt any-"
"Go back to hell. Holy Sword!", shouted Fuutarou to cut it off, shooting from his fist without mercy a sword of blue light that instantly pierced the heart of the monster, making it spit blood again and fall on the ground.
The bleeding and damaged body of the creature then started to become ashes that the wind blew away, and Fuutarou used his telekinesis powers to re-plant the tree that fell when he made the monster fly against it, surprising the young couple.
'Trusting the words of a demon is like condemning yourself. This is the first time that I kill, but I don't care; demons don't deserve mercy or pity. Plus, I won't let them kill anyone on my watch. Ever.', he thought after finishing to fix the tree, satisfied and glad that he saved the couple.
Said couple started to approach him slowly, with the man saying, "T-thank y-you for saving us. W-we w-were scared t-that the monster would kill us, but y-you arrived and impeded it. W-we thank you from the bottom of our heart."
"Umm, d-do you h-have a name?", asked him instead the young woman, still holding on her boyfriend.
Fuutarou turned around to look at them, and under his mask, he smiled. "You're welcome, guys. When I felt the presence of that bastard and saw what he wanted to do, I couldn't stay still. So I'm glad that you're fine. About the name: I cannot tell you because my identity must remain a secret, so for now I just suggest you to go home. But before that, let me cure your wounds."
And when said that, the young Saint put his hands on the foreheads, which shined in a blue light that covered the bodies of the woman and the man. The light was removing all the cuts and scratches that the demon's claws inflicted, and after it disappeared, their bodies weren't hurt anymore.
"Y-you healed us? A-all our wounds disappeared!", exclaimed the woman with a bright smile after seeing what happened.
"It's a special ability of mine. I see that it works pretty well. Good, now I have to leave, so go back to home safely, ok guys? See you.", told them Fuutarou before spreading his wings and taking the fly in the sky like a bird.
And while he was leaving, the young couple that he had saved was looking at him in awe and smiling, extremely grateful to him for saving their lives and healing also their wounds with that strange bluej light.
"I-It's a pity he didn't tell us his name. I-I understand that he wants t-to keep his identity secret, but still-"
"The Silver Warrior.", said suddenly the man.
"Eh? T-the Silver Warrior?"
"Yeah, he said that he's a warrior when he fought against that monster, and since he wears that silver armor, we can call him The Silver Warrior. What do you think?"
His girlfriend smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I like it! Then I will call him that me too!"
And while the couple that had just been saved had found a name for who saved them, the same person was currently flying back to where he wore his Cloth to take his school bag and go home.
The fight had not been tiring or difficult at all for him, since he had no pummeled and beat up the creature without playing around, but the healing ability was something that consumed a bit his Cosmo.
Such ability was one that Mu had told him about a little after Fu developed his Holy Sword attack; basically, the Saints that possessed a Light Cosmo could use it to heal wounds or to purify something contaminated by a dark element.
The problem was that those abilities consumed more energy depending on the the damage to heal and on the quantity of darkness to eliminate. Of course the wounds of the young couple weren't mortal, but Fuutarou could feel that the healing ability consumed a little more energy than the Holy Sword.
Nonetheless, it was ok for him; it was the first time that he used that ability, and since it managed to cure the young couple, he was glad for it. Saving them and healing them was something fantastic for him.
He couldn't tell them his identity as Mu had suggested to do; if a demon found out whose face was behind his mask, both his family and the Nakano would be in danger. And also the girls at Kurobara and other people he knew or would meet in the future.
So the best choice was not saying names or something similar like he did with that young couple, and now that he saved them, he could concentrate on going home and preparing to have dinner with his family and the Nakano.
Surely he had made the quints worried when he left to go to slay that demon, but they would smile happily once they saw him coming for dinner to their house. Plus, he wanted to see their parents after 5 years, so he could tell them what Mu taught him and his experience abroad while keeping out the Saints-related stuff of course.
A/N
Chapter 5 is here, everyone! Oh boy, first Itsuki hugs Fuutarou in front of their class, then Nino does the same but more boldly and he also reunites with Ichika, Miku and Yotsuba. Plus, he also attracts already the interest of all the other girls of Kurobara. Such lucky boy haha.
The young warrior can't stay relaxed anyways as his duty as Saint is very important, and in fact, he didn't waste time in mercilessly eliminating a creature that was about to kill a poor young couple and healing the 2 of them. In this way he avoided that 2 innocents would get killed, getting also the name The Silver Warrior. A hero's name that will probably be used a lot of times for our Apus Saint.
And now that he saved and killed the demon, Fuutarou can go home and prepare to have dinner with his family, the quints and their parents. How will it go? Stay tuned to find out.
