Me and my friend Marcus were walking with my stepmother Maria to the train station.
She married my dad 2 years after my mother died. I was about 3 at the time and i didn't remember what she looked like and my father did not have any pictures.
I am now 15 years old its been 10 years since Maria and father married and 12 years since my mother died.
I only have two friends Marcus and his twin sister, Ivory. I am the oldest out of all of us because i am 15 while they're both 14. Though Marcus and Ivory are twins they could not be more different. For starters Ivory was blonde like her father not a brunette like me and marcus and their mother.
Now back to the train station we're here because of all the bombings ad air raids sent from Germany. I probably should mention something else about my family. My father fought in a war long before i was born and vowed to never join again once i was born. But, when more and more air raids started he was forced by the British army to join. About five days after he left we got a notice that he was Missing In Action. Maria cried for days and so i decided to put on a fake smile and a brave face to keep her sane. But sometimes, and neither Marcus nor Ivory know, i cry when Maria leaves for her job as a seamstress and im all alone at home.
The only thing that helped me cope was reading and sometimes, again Marcus nor Ivory know, writing and drawing stories of a fictional land i used to dream up called Narnia. I always wished it was real so that i could escape from reality. Even more so when a few months after the first notice a second came up saying he had been found. He had been flying a plane when the Germans shot him down he landed in the ocean and drowned. I had been scared to even take a step towards water since then except of course for baths which i could control.
Anyway its time to push those thoughts out of my head and put on a smile. Maria was sending me to my grandfather's home in the country and luckily marcus was coming too. Ivory had been sent to their own grandparents. I was dressed in a dark red long-sleeved A-line dress along with a light blue British warm coat and a matching light blue beret. My long brown hair i had neatly put into a side braid and i was wearing black boots and the snowflake pendant my mother supposedly gave to me when i was born. I was holding my favorite book titled 'Pride and Prejudice' in one hand and my luggage in the other.
Maria hugged me and Marcus tightly before sending us on our way. I handed the woman out tickets and we walked into an empty carriage, both of us putting out luggage in the overhead. I sat next to marcus as he looked out the window. I quickly started to read my book waiting for the train to start.

Me and my siblings were walking to the train line, when i saw her.
I had always admired her from afar at school, during lunch or the train ride to school.
At lunch, she was almost always alone reading or with a brunette boy and a blonde girl, the blonde girl being in Susan's year. The girl i admired was brunette and i had recently learned her name was Violet Baudelaire. She usually had her long brown hair up in a ponytail or braid, for some reason never down.
She was there. Violet was there, at the train station, with me. She was with her mother,i suppose and her friend the brunette boy. She looked pretty as always and had started to go onto the train with her friend.
I was snapped out of my daze as Susan snatched our tickets out of my hands and gave them to the lady collecting them before hissing my name pushing me forward.
We walked onto the train, Lucy's hand in mine and looked for an empty compartment. We eventually found a compartment with only two people and walked in.
"Is it ok if we sit here there's not a lot of room everywhere else and we'd like to stay together"Susan asked as both of the kids looked up. It was her again. Violet was in the same compartment as us. She looked to her friend who spoke up.
"No problem"The brunette boy said smiling. Violet gave us a small smile before turning back to her book.
I was just discreetly observing her as she read her book as the train moved.

Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy were all sitting on one side of the compartment whilst Violet and Marcus were on the other side.
Peter was not so discreetly watching Violet, who was to busy reading to notice. The only people who noticed were, Susan and Lucy who were looking at the two with a knowing smile. Edmund and Marcus had both been staring out the windows. Lucy decided to help Peter by starting a conversation with the two unnamed children.
"Hello there im Lucy Pevensie and these are my siblings, Peter, Susan and Edmund" Lucy said to the other kids who looked up at the sound of her voice, as she seemed to be speaking to them.
"I'm Marcus and this is my friend, Violet" The boy introduced as the girl gave them another small smile.
"Where are you two heading"Susan asked politely following Lucy's plan.
"Violet's grandfather's estate in the country, his name is professor Digory Kirke" Marcus told them as Violet had already turned focus back to her book. When he revealed this piece of information Peter's eyes brightened.
"Oh really our labels tell us were being sent to a Professor Kirke" Lucy told the two brightly and with a smile.
"That's nice" Marcus told them smiling before trying to get violet to speak, though knowing she wouldn't "Right Violet".
She only nodded giving another short smile, before turning back to her book. After that it was quiet, before they arrived at their place.

Me, Violet and the Pevensies rushed out onto the platform waiting for a car or something to pick us up.
During the ride the two girls had tried to make conversation. I was answering but Violet only smiled or nodded. I guess she still isn't comfortable talking to other people besides me and Ivory.
I only started to pay attention when a car passed us honking.
"The professor knew we were coming"The brunette girl, Susan said to her siblings.
"Perhaps we've been incorrectly labeled"the dark haired boy named Edmund said from in front of me and Violet, as me and her were standing a little ways behind them. It was mostly because Violet is very shy and doesn't like to speak to a big group of people at a time. Sometimes not even very few people. She would usually only talk to me or Ivory. Me and Ivory know why she doesn't talk to anyone else, much to her dismay.
We all then noticed a horse and wagon come up and me an violet shared a look.
"The macraedy"Violet whisper-yelled to me
"Oh no"i whisper-yelled back and we both lightly chuckled under our breath. Violet only ever acted like this around me and Ivory, not even Maria, her stepmother. Me and Ivory thought that was as unhealthy as her persistence to not cry since her father was forced into the army. She always said she was fine but neither me nor Ivory believed her.
"Is this all of you" Mrs. Macraedy said rudely and uninterested.
"Yes ma'am its just us" The blonde boy, Peter told her. He sounded slightly nervous to which i laughed in my head about.
"Small favors" Mrs. Macraedy mumbled loud enough for us all to hear "well what are you waiting for"she said hinting at us to get in the wagon.
Peter helped his sisters into the wagon, Edmund refusing aggressively and then Peter tried to offer Violet some help but she politely shook her head getting in herself at the same time as me and he got in after her.
A/N:
So i wanted to make another book other than my usual power rangers and if you're wondering why i keep adding books it's cause i have so many ideas and if i don't write them down soon they will all disappear.
